You spend a lot of time practicing in the Gravity Chamber with your friends, taking turns when you all think you can make some breakthroughs in training. The more you all practice, the more things seem to come... almost naturally to you. Your skills stay sharp as ever, as do brobro's, Chiaotzu's, and even Chi-chi's, given all the training you do with them in there. And most amazing of all, you not only learn to control the Raio-ken, you MASTER the technique, beyond that of Goku, brobro, or even Tien do. You might be able to use it to move even faster, now.

You also attempt to try to learn how to block out telepathy, while training with Tien, but... it just seems to not work. The METHOD should be simple enough, presenting a... "distraction" thought that overwhelms the attempts to read your "actual" thoughts, but... it's just so hard to actually do. You do make sure to take some time to train with Chuu Lee some more, explaining to her more about martial arts and ki. The girl actually seems to be quite interested in learning, and taking things slow, her mother seems to grow to accept what she's learning. The girl's other friends are amazed by what she can do, at the very least.

Bulma presents you with some new ideas of her own, and while she seems to have found a new upgrade for your Scouters, something that might allow the detection of the Power Levels of artificial beings like Eighter, Blue, or... ugh, Lucifer. It seems to work, but she ends up taking far longer to get it done than she's hoped, and the Gravity Chamber ends up lacking on some maintenance, needing repairs. It'll apparently be fully functional again in... January. Damn. Launch seems to be headed to Kame House, Krillin on the way as well and ready for action, with Lapis and Lazuli feeling ready enough to join him in battle too. Finally you check up back home... and Master Roshi seems to be under attack!

You can stack them now, actually. Raio-ken takes up less stamina than the Kaio-ken does, especially thanks to you MASTERING the technique (seriously, that was great). Trying to think of other techniques that can be enhanced with lightning:

I don't think there's a way to add lightning to Solar Flare, but what about the reverse? Is it possible to add the Solar Flare's blinding ability to lightning? Lightning is naturally bright and flashy so it should be too hard to modify it to blind our opponents as well. Having a quick attack that can both blind and stun an enemy would be a great distraction move.

Also, the Spirit Bit Barrier is neat, but it would be better if it could absorb attacks to offset its energy cost. Or better yet, if it could reflect ki attacks back at the enemy. If it can reflect attacks, then the barrier can be enhanced with lightning so it throws back lightning-enchanted attacks instead.

Speaking of Gero, what are the chances that Maple Mahogany will be 16's target instead of Son Goku. I think we've annoyed him more than Goku at this point.
