Once inside the walls, the mood drastically changes. Shops and luxury as far as the eye can see, greatly contrasting the desolation outside. Even the children are dressed in great finery, running around the shops. Huge cathedrals and grand mansions decorate the streets, getting more extravagant until you reach the White Palace. The cornerstone of the Empire, it is the single most splendid architectural achievement of your country.

Waiting outside, just as promised, is Corine Telem. The guards salute her as she stands there, over six feet tall and dressed in full armor. Your carriage slows to a stop near the foot of the palace and you bow as you exit.
