Your group is gathered in your hotel suite, celebrating victory.

Pizzas have been ordered, movies have been bought, videogames have been brought out, it's an amazing party. Or, it would be for normal people. But, considering two members of your team are demons, one probably has never played a videogame in her life, and another has just lost his parents, it's less fun than it should be.

Right now, your team, plus Kaya, Lucy, and your father are gathered on the couch watching some kung fu movie, eating pizza and sipping at soda.

You'll be staying here for a few days while the committee sees to your rewards. Billions of dollars have already been transferred to both yours and Bruce's accounts, and Aalgan recently walked off with a lot of cash, but waiting for the other wishes could take some time.

Without another word, she gets up and leaves the room, making her way outside. Bruce tells you go ahead without him, and Kara tells you that she'll stay behind too. Lucy shrugs and tells you that a walk sounds nice, and leaves the room as well.

Something I forgot to ask in the last thread, what would Kasai and Kara's wishes have been if John didn't wish for Kasai original sight back and if Bruce's parents weren't killed/bodies destroyed?

Kaya gestures for you to follow her, and heads into one of the bedrooms. You go in after her, and she shuts the door behind you.

"I'm worried about Bruce," she tells you. "He's barely said a word since we got back. I know that the committee said they'll do what they can to fix the bodies of his parents, and that Koenma has promised to return their spirits if at all possible, but I'm worried about what will happen to Bruce if this doesn't work out."

You've entertained similar thoughts yourself. And, you've noticed that Kara still seems extremely worried about Bruce, having barely left his side since the match ended yesterday.

You leave the suite and go outside, finding Kasai and Lucy waiting patiently near the edge of the woods. The two seem to be sharing a somewhat awkward silence, and both seem a bit relieved when they see you. You take it they don't have a whole lot to say to each other.

"Hey, what took you?" Lucy asks, walking over to you. "Everything okay?"

The two of you make your way deeper and deeper into the woods, and you find yourself strangely relaxed. You aren't sure if it's the scenery, or the company, but you're feeling better now than you were a few minutes ago.

"So, you and Kasai?" Lucy asks, a small smile on her face as the two of you keep watching.

Lucy smiles, heading back in the hotel. You decide to search for Kasai. It doesn't take long at all for you to spot a light in the forest, which you can only assume is coming from Kasai. You follow it and venture into the forest, keeping your guard up just in case it's not who you think it is.

But, sure enough, you find Kasai floating through the air, engulfed in flames. When she sees you, she extinguishes the fire and lands, slowly approaching.

"John," she greets. "I'm glad you're here. You and I need to talk."
