"You're the best! Hail Satan!" you cheer before running over to Yamcha.

"Great news!" he tells you. "Bulma has all of the Dragonballs collected, and they're on the ship!"

Thank Kami. Everything seems to be turning out okay.

A massive jet of water shoots up in the distance, and you see a pink figure rise from beneath the waves. A red glow surrounds him, and the sky begins to darken.

Majin Buu is ready for round three.

"No...dammit, we were so close!" Vegeta curses as the pink creature continues to gather power.

Beerus looks over at Buu in annoyance. "I know I promised not to destroy your world, but if that creature attacks me again, I'm going to have to go back on my word."

"GET OUT BUU'S WAY!" he shouts, sending out a burst of energy that pushes you back.

Lightning flashes across the sky, and thunder booms all around you. Glancing back at the boat, you see Beerus slowly beginning to rise, a purple glow surrounding him that makes your heart leap into your throat.

Buu finishes gathering his energy, his eyes opening and an evil look appearing on his face. You know he's about to attack Beerus with everything he has, and that it won't be anywhere near enough. Beerus will effortlessly beat Buu yet again, then turn his anger on your world.

Do we know how to teleport to the land of the Kais? That might be the best spot to fight Buu at.

Buu breaks free of your grip, blowing steam from his head and stomping with enough force to make nearby trees fall. The two of you are in the forest not far from Goku's home. Here, you are far from Beerus.

Of course, a raging Buu is its own problem.

You decide not to correct him on that one, and just repeat that Mr. Satan defeated Beerus and got him to stop fighting.

"Oh....okay!" Buu says, the smile returning to his face.

You hear his stomach rumble, and he frowns once again. "Buu hungry! Want food!"

You nod, placing a hand on Buu's shoulder and teleporting him with you back to the party. Everything is somewhat peaceful, though there's an air of worry hanging over everything.

Beerus and Whis are absent, but Goku and Nappa have taken their places, discussing what's happened with the others.

Sixteen and Mr. Satan look over at Buu with concern, but visibly relax when they see that he's calmed down. Videl comes running over to you.

"Beerus and Whis are gone," she tells you. "They're going to ask the Kais about this Super Saiyan God thing. We were going to use the Dragonballs to ask Shenron, but..."

She looks around. "We can't find them anywhere on the ship. And Beerus was not happy to hear that. He just left for King Kai's world, and said he'd be back."

"I really hope the Kais know about this Super Saiyan God thing," Bulma comments.

Most of the others say the same, until the kids speak up.

"There were those three kids we saved from the ocean," Goten tells you.

"What kids?" Bulma asks.

"We saw three kids stuck on the side of the boat being attacked by a shark," Drake explains. "So we brought them up and gave them some food."

"Talking monkey?" Bulma asks in disbelief.

"Guys, come on, this is serious," Gohan tells the kids.

"We're telling the truth!" Goten swears.

Drake nods. "Yeah. And they argued a lot about whether or not to eat. They kept calling the monkey "emperor" and begging him to just stop being stubborn and have some food."

"Did they ask about the Dragonballs?" you ask.

"No," Drake answers. "They thanked us for helping them, then thanked us for the food."

"They kind of freaked out when they saw Goten," Trunks comments.

"Oh yeah, that was weird," Cabba adds.

You decide to try sensing for energy, but can't feel anything other than your friends. The massive amount of energy output by all of them being together might be masking the smaller energy levels of these children, or maybe they're just way too far away.

"Anybody know any emperors?" you ask.

"Well, Vegeta and I killed a few," Nappa tells you, though his wife quickly explains that that isn't what you meant.

"Well there was Emperor Pilaf," Goku comments, tilting his head and tapping his chin.

Emperor Pilaf.

You remember the day you found Olibu's shrine. You encountered a bickering trio deep in the forest, the leader of which identified himself as Emperor Pilaf. That same trio broke into your house once, and Emperor Pilaf ate your stake.

You remember.

"Was anything else stolen, besides the Dragonballs?" you ask.

"I don't think so," Bulma answers. "And the Dragonballs are what's important."

After instructing the children to search the ship, you take to the sky, looking around for any sign of the three. It doesn't take too long for you to stop a small shape in the distance, slowly getting further away.

Three people sit in the boat, all of them child sized. One is some sort of dog creature in purple, while another is a young girl with long black hair. And, of course, the final one is a tiny blue creature with big ears and a loud voice that commands the other two to row.

"Ah! What just happened?" Pilaf screams. "We're flying!"

You see the dog-boy and little girl peak off the side of the boat. Their faces go white and they immediately move back to the center.

"Someone's carrying us!" the dog-boy tells Pilaf.

"What?!" Pilaf demands. "It's not that spikey-haired brat, is it?!"

Pilaf looks over the side, and you look back at him.

"Who are you guys?" you demand. "And what are you doing?"

"I'm Emperor Pilaf! And what's the big idea picking up my boat like this?!" he demands. "Put me down this instant!"

"Uh...sir, I don't think that's a good idea," the little girl tells him. "We're up pretty high."

"What?" Pilaf asks, looking down. "Oh...yeah."

He laughs nervously, moving to the center of the boat with the others. The trio remain relatively silent as you carry their boat back to the cruise ship, setting it down on the deck.

"Boss...we're back on the ship," the dog-boy observes.

"I can see that!" Pilaf snaps.

"Huh, you know, it's funny," Bulma comments, looking at the trio. "That little boy does look just like Emperor Pilaf."

The three stop and stare at Bulma, their eyes widening and sweat dripping down their faces. Goku steps next to Bulma, and they look ready to faint.

"Yeah, but he's too little, even to be Emperor Pilaf," Goku comments with a little chuckle.

"That spikey hair...." the dog-boy whispers.

"Those innocent eyes...." the little girl adds.

"That laugh...." Pilaf chimes in.

"It's very familiar...." the three say together.

"Oh crap!" Pilaf shouts, looking ready to piss himself. "You too?!"

"What's with all of these crazy strong kids being here right now?" the dog-boy asks.

"How long have they known each other?" the girl asks. "This doesn't make any sense. What are the chances we'd run into all three of these people at once?"

"It's a conspiracy, I tell you," the dog-boy replies.

"Why do you three look so young?" you ask.

"W-well, you see..." Pilaf starts. "We made a wish on the Dragonballs about six months ago."

"And when the Dragon asked our wish, Emperor Pilaf said "Shenron, please make us young again!" And now we're little kids," the girl explains.

"I stand by that," Pilaf tells her. "There's no sense in world domination if you're too old and wrinkly to enjoy it."

"I understand that," the girl says. "But did you have to make us this young?"

"Hey, I'm not complaining," the dog-ninja chimes in. "When you're measuring your life in dog years, you need all of the youth you can get."

You clear your throat. "Look, if you have the Dragonballs, give them back now."

"The Dragonballs?" the three ask at once.

Pilaf laughs. "Ha! I told you two they were on this ship! You see? And you doubted my genius!"

"We're sorry, emperor," the other two tell him.

"Radar? Oh, I have one of those," Pilaf announces, pulling a device from his pocket. "Let's see here...hmm, the Dragonballs got pretty far from here. They're in the mountains near North City."
