I did not get that particular impression out of that particular thread. I just got the impression that Mami is still Mami, only with a huge dollop of manipulative talent added on top, and also being actively targeted by Pinky. Since that thread and now, she could have given in to the GW temptation... which seems likely seeing as she, unlike Kharn, didn't give hers up for experimentation once Kharn's popped up.
