You feel your palms sweating quite profusely. You felt incredibly conscious of your surroundings. "Do they think I'm some sort of pervert or something?" Your heart races with anxiety as you could feel the stares of many women around you. "I hope they know I'm here with someone..." You think to yourself.

You should've been happier that you were on a swimsuit shopping trip with Kyoko. However, your self-consciousness about what the women around you thought prevented you from fully enjoying the experience. Coupled with your worry about Hori, this trip wasn't as fun as you thought it would be.

"Are you almost ready Kyoko?" You ask her. Hopefully, when she starts showing off the three swimsuits that she picked out, your nerves would calm down and you can enjoy your date with her.

"Yeah... I'm almost ready." She tells you from behind the curtain of the fitting room. "Alright, here I go, don't laugh okay?" She reveals the swimsuit to you and it takes your breath away. In fact the first swimsuit she chose was so bold and quite revealing that even you couldn't help but blush. It was a black two-piece bikini. It really made her slender body stand out.

This was the swimsuit she also looked the most comfortable in and you thought would be the one she liked most. After doing a little turn, she goes back inside and then she asks you. "Alright Daichi, which one do you think is the best?"

Once her decision is made, she changes into her uniform. "Alright, now it's time to pay for it." That was when you realized why it was so important for her to buy that swimsuit that day. You thought it was because the class trip was next week already, however when she was paying for it, she brings up the discount that was happening today. "So today is the 50% off swimsuits right?" She asks the clerk.

Unfortunately, Kyoko seems to have misinterpreted the sale they were having. "Ah, sorry Ma'm but that 50% off is only for those swimsuits over there." The saleslady behind the counter points to a bargain bin with nothing but plain swimsuits in them. "That discount is only for the school swimsuits there."

As Kyoko takes her wallet out you could see her trembling. "Kyoko? Are you okay? If you don't want that swimsuit you don't have to buy it you know." You make sure she knows she doesn't have to pay for it just because she brought it up to the desk.

She sounded almost robotic as she tries to convince herself that she needed that swimsuit. "I... I need it. I don't mind it. I will probably have some allowance leftover for this month." You could tell that she was sacrificing a lot of BL games for this piece of fabric. You wonder why she even wanted to get that swimsuit that badly anyways?

You give Kyoko a huge smile. "It's okay, this one you don't have to pay me back."

Kyoko looked hesitant to take your favour. You could tell she didn't want to seem like a burden to you. "Are you sure? You can't take this back and make me pay for it okay?" She makes sure that you understood the terms. That you are parting with your money and she has no responsibility to compensate you for the said money.

"Of course. Besides, I want to see you in that swimsuit a bit more." She immediately blushes as she hears you say those words, however you were hoping more reaction. Unfortunately, Kyoko seems to have gotten smart to your antics and has tried not to show as much reaction as before.

"I-Idiot..." She whispers to you as she turns around to pay for the swimsuit.

Once the swimsuit was paid for, you were now free to do whatever you wanted. The two of you were still at the mall. Kyoko turns to you. "Hmm what do you want to do now Daichi?" That was when it really felt like a date to you.

However before you could answer her, your cellphone starts to ring. Quickly checking the number, you notice that it was from your house. "Just a second okay Kyoko?" You excuse yourself to answer the phone call. If it was from your house then it might either be Yuki or Hori.

Now that you thought of it, Kyoko hasn't been at your house at all. Every time you have spent time with her, it's always at her house. "Yuki, I'll be there soon okay?" You tell her.

Yuki celebrates as she hangs up the phone. One thing did stick to your mind though. "Is Hori still at that game development club?" You think to yourself.

When you look over to Kyoko, you could see her eyes feel with worry and jealousy. "T-That Yuki... Who is that Yuki Daichi?" She asks you with her trembling voice.

"Ah, that's just my sister." The moment you clear up who Yuki was to Kyoko, you could see a wave of relief was over her face.

"Really?" She starts to laugh as her worries float away. "Thank goodness..." She whispers to herself.

You pick up on her relief and you try and tease her. "Hmm? Are you relieved? Were you worried I'd have a girlfriend or something?"
Her eyes widen with shock and her cheeks start to turn red. However, Kyoko keeps herself together. She doesn't say anything and she keeps her reactions to a minimum. Then, she tries to change the subject. "Ermhmm... So I guess you are going home now?" She asks you.

"Yeah, I am." You answer her. "But, I was wondering if you want to come over this time."

"Eh!?" You could tell she was caught off-guard by your invitation. "Me going to your house?"

"Yeah, I mean I thought about it and you haven't been to my house right? I've always been to your house so I was wondering if you want to go to my house toni-"

Before you could even finish she answers. "I'd love to!"

As you walk to your house, you could tell that Kyoko was anxious. She was fidgeting with her hair, with her clothes all the way to your house. "Ah... Maybe I should go home first and change? Do you think my clothes are good enough?"

"You look okay Kyoko, you don't need to go that extra mile." She almost felt like your girlfriend anxious that you were about to introduce her to your parents.

"Okay." She says while trying to calm herself down. However, she doesn't calm down at all. Every time you would take a quick glance over at Kyoko she would be trying to fix something about herself, be it her hair or her clothes.

However, your concern about Hori was growing. "I wonder if she is doing alright..." You whisper to yourself. Then it hit you. Kyoko was quite close to the student council, if Daigo Aida has been in trouble before she might know about him.

Just like you, Kyoko could just recognize his name. "Right? I know I've heard of it before but I just can't quite put my finger on it."

Then, Kyoko seems to have gotten a breakthrough. "Wait, I think I remember him now!" She tells you. "He was a third year last year. He was involved in that scandal with the first year."

Slowly it starts to come back to you. There was a huge scandal involving a third year and a first year. It was all over the news but you never really paid attention to it. "The first year moved school but I don't know what happaned to Aida." Kyoko continues.

However, you knew that Daigo stayed behind. He was repeating the third year in your school. "Hmm what was the scandal about Kyoko?" You ask her. "I didn't really pay attention to it so..." You let out an awkwar laugh.

"Jeez... You should really pay attention to your school more!" Kyoko scolds you a bit. "The scandal started because the first year claimed Daigo sexually attacked her. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on who you ask, the evidence was found inconclusive so Daigo didn't get into trouble."

Suddenly, you felt an ominous feeling creep up your spine. "Hmm I see." You tell her.

The whole way to your house the growing feelings of concern about Hori keeps eating away at you. "Should I have left her alone?" You start to question yourself.

When you arrive home, you notice that your father's car was already there. "Hmm he is early today." However, it wasn't just you that noticed this, the girl right beside you also noticed it.

I think I'm going to change into better clothes actually." Kyoko runs away before you could stop her. "I will be right back okay?" She tells you as she rushes over to her house.

Left alone, you decide to call Hori. "Let me just check up on her." You were so sure that just hearing her voice confirming that she is okay will melt your worries away. "I just need to hear from her that she is okay." You kept telling yourself that if Daigo wasn't convicted of the crimes then he must be innocent. "Daigo must've just been misunderstood!" You whisper to yourself.

However, when Hori's phone kept giving you the message, "The number you have dialed is out of service or the phone is turned off" you become even more worried. You try and give her a call multiple times but it all ended in the same error.

Then as you were about to try for a third time, your phone rings instead. "Hello?" You answer it immediately hoping to hear Hori's voice on the other side.

However you were answered by your mother's voice on the other line. "Ah Daichi? Are you home right now?"

"Yeah, I am." You tell her.

"Ah, good... I just got a call from the police station. They said your cousin Hori is there right now... Would you be able to check it out?"

"Good... I'll try my best to get out of the office asap and come home or if I'm early enough, go to the station." As your mom hangs up the phone you could her the worry in her voice. "Crap... My sister is going to kill me if anything happens to Hori."

You stand in front of your apartment building while waiting for Kyoko. Although you felt bad that you were going to cancel on Kyoko, your worry for Hori was also growing larger and larger. In fact you just wanted to make sure that Hori is okay.

"Ah! Sorry for making you wait!" Kyoko finally arrives, this time she was wearing a nice dress with a cardigan on top. "Sorry for taking too long... I had to find these clothes since I haven't really worn them." When she realizes that you might misunderstand her she adds in a couple of sentences. "I mean I haven't worn them much recently. Don't think I pulled out new clothes just to impress your parents." She was a horrible liar, especially since the tags on the cardigan she was wearing was still visible.

She takes a deep breath as she prepares herself. "Alright... I think I'm ready... Let's go to your house Daichi."

She tries to drag you with her inside your house but you stood your ground. "Ah, sorry Kyoko." You apologize to her.

"Sorry? What for?" She asks you with concern. "Did something happen?"

"Yeah... Hori is at the police station right now." You explain to her everything that happened that led up to that incident. You told her about Daigo Aida being at your school still, you told her about Hori wanting to join that club and wanting to meet him. However you were careful not to spill Hori's secrets to Kyoko.

"I know I invited you to my house tonight but I think I'll have to take a rain check." You bow to her in apology again. She was so excited to go to your house and she even dug up new clothes that she probably never wore before. "I promise, I'll make this up to you!"

Then, to your surprise, you hear her laugh. "What are you doing Daichi? Why are you acting like that? It's so creepy." Almost immediately, your worry of her hating you flies away "It's okay, you can check on Hori. I'm not that evil." She smiles at you.

"I promise, I'll make it up to you somehow!" You tell her once again.

Kyoko just smiles with an evil look on her face. "I know. I'll make sure that you'll make it up to me during the class trip." The look on her face both excited and worried you a bit. "Anyways, I hope Hori is okay..." Kyoko seemed just as worried about Hori as you were. "Hey Daichi, do you need anybody to go with you? Do you need someone to support you? If you want to... Umm... I can go with you." Kyoko asks you with concern.

[ ] "Ah, it's okay. Just stay home and stay safe." If something did happen to Hori, she might not appreciate you bringing someone outside of the family.

For the first time since you've met her Kyoko seems to be concerned for you. Right away she could tell that you were worried about Hori and she understood it. "I'd love for you to join me." You tell her. If she was concerned for your well-being, you won't miss out on the chance of feeling like your being taken care of.

"Let's go then." The whole way there Kyoko would try and comfort you. She would tell you that Hori is okay. "I'm sure she is fine, In fact she would probably be in beter shape than Daigo right now!" She was right. If Hori is at the police station and Daigo tried to do something to her, he must be the one in trouble.

"Thanks Kyoko." You whisper to her. Having her there with you really put your mind at ease. Fortunately, the police station wasn't that far from your house.

After about an hour bus-ride you get there. "Hori?" The receptionist asks you to confirm then he checks his computer. Then he leads you inside the police station where you are immediately seen by Hori.

"Ah! Aomine!" She waves at you with a care-free smile like always. She didn't even seemed faze at all.

Immediately you run over to her with Kyoko. "Hori!" You call out to her. "Are you okay? What happened?" You noticed she had a bruise on her wrist as if someone tried to hold her down. "Did that bastard Daigo try to do anything to you?"

Hori notices you looking at her bruise, then as if she was embarrassed she hides it under her sleeve. "Ah, it's nothing." She gives you an awkward smile. "He tried to force himself onto me but luckily I was able to fight him off." Later, when you finally see the state Daigo was in, 'fight him off' would be a severe understatement as to what Hori did to him.

"Thank god... Thank god you are okay." You whisper to Hori.

Then Hori starts to look sad and disappointed. "I did confirm one thing though... He isn't the guy I was looking for." Once Hori finishes up giving her statement to the police, she was finally free to go home. When the cops finally let Hori go, the three of you head back to your apartment.

Once you get back to your apartment, Hori heads in first. "Ah... I'll go on ahead." She smiles and winks at you. It was almost as if she was prompting you to just confess to Kyoko already. It was quite impressive that Hori didn't seem fazed at all after what she just went through. Hori was impressively strong.

Now that you and Kyoko were left alone, she decides to head back as well. "Ah, I should probably go too." She smiles at you.

"Hey Kyoko, thanks for tonight... I really appreciate what you did for me."

"That goes without saying." She gives you a prideful smile. "It's only natural for me to do this for you, so when I'm the one in trouble I expect you to do the same!" She snaps at you.

"Of course." Then, before she leaves you try and invite her to your house. "I know it might be a bit late... But I'm sure my parent's still haven't eaten dinner... Do you want to come along?"

Kyoko was hesitant. "Are you sure? Hori might seem fine but she might be really worried inside. She might need you right now."

Kyoko was quite insightful. "You are right..." You whisper to Kyoko. "Thanks again for tonight Kyoko." You smile at her.

"Don't worry about it." That night you saw a different side of Kyoko, a side that made you fall for her even more.

"You know Kyoko, you should show that side of you more often." You continue. "You looked really cute tonight."

All of that day Kyoko has been doing a great job keeping her reactions to a minimum. However, a direct attack like that one catches her off-guard completely. Her face turns red almost instantly. Her eyes widen with shock and her mouth opens as she tries to come up with anything to say to you. "S-Stop saying embarrassing things!" She was finally able to say. "That side of me is special and rare! It'll only come out for the one that's closest to me!" She snaps at you. It almost felt like an indirect confession.

Then, Kyoko turns around. "Anyways... I have to get going. Kou is probably lonely waiting for me..." She says with her back turned towards you. "By the way... Since the school trip is almost here we have to discuss it."

"Discuss it?"

"Yeah... So just give me a call on my cellphone once Hori has settled down okay? If you forget to call me I'll definitely kill you!" She almost sounded like she was grasping at straws to try and come up with any excuse for you to give her a call. Then, once she makes her cute threat to you, she runs off to her house leaving you smiling.

When you get back to your house, you saw your whole family gathered around Hori. "Ah, I am sorry Hori! I should've been the one to pick you up!" Your mother apologizes to her over and over again.

"Ah, it's okay Auntie, everything worked out in the end." Hori really didn't seem affected by it at all. "I may not look like it but I'm actually pretty strong!" What surprised you even more was that Hori has an apron again. She was ready to do chores like usual.

Although Hori says it was okay, your mother felt extremely guilty. "I'm so sorry... I told my sister I'd protect you and I let that happen to you." She bows to Hori again. "I hope you can forgive me!" Hori just stands your mother up.

"I really am okay Auntie." She smiles at your mother. Once your mother settles down she tells Hori that she doesn't have to do chores that night.

"I'll do it myself, you just relax okay?"

"Eh!? I absolutely cannot let you do that... You just came home from work after all!" Hori refuses at first but your mother convinces her. Your mother then turns to you. "Now then, Daichi, you should go and take Hori upstairs. The two of you should go get some sleep okay?"

You agree with your mother. "I agree with her Hori, now it's two to one. You should go and rest up." With two people going up against Hori she finally agrees to rest up.

As you were going up the stairs however, your mother mentions something to Hori. "Oh yeah Hori... I called your mother to tell her what happened but your father answered the phone."

Hori's eyes widen with shock. Her body tenses up. "M-My father?"

"Yeah... He said he wants to talk to you and will call you later tonight." Your mother started to look a bit confused. "Weirdly enough he didn't have your cell number so I just gave him the landline number. If the phone rings you can answer it since it might be from your father!"

"O-Okay..." Hori tells to your mother. Her tone had a hint of terror in it.

Once you get to her room you ask her if she needed anything. "Do you need anything Hori? I can get you anything you want, drink, food anything."

"Ah, I'm good right now." She forces herself to smile. "Thank you Aomine." You could tell that she was worried about something. She was probably worried about her father.

"Oh okay. Well if you need anything I'm right across the hallway okay?"

"Yes." She nods again as her smile starts to feel more melancholic. "Actually... Aomine, can you keep me company for a bit? Let's play a couple of games, okay?"

time to tell her who DA really is

"Sure." You've been curious as to how well her computer runs from the first day you saw it. Plus it can't be that bad to play games with someone like Hori. She invites you inside her room and you were surprised to find it so well organized and neat. "So... What games do you have in store?"

She then opens up her closet. "Hmm you can take your pick from whatever is in here." She says with a proud tone. When you saw it in the box, you couldn't grasp just how big her collection was. Now that it was out in the open like this, you saw just how big it was.

"T-This is amazing..." She had every classic games you could think off. In fact her collection was only second to yours. "How long have you been collecting Hori?"

"Hmm... I guess ever since 2 years ago?" She answers. "But I didn't really get into it until I found DA's game." She smiles.

"Ah really?"

"Mhmm."

As you try and think of a game to play with Hori, you ask her how her relationship with her father was like. "Are you and your father in good terms?"

"Eh?" She was shocked. "Why do you ask?"

"Just wondering..." You had a bad feeling about him. However you couldn't exactly tell that to Hori.

"Hmm I guess you could say our relationship could be better..." She smiles at you. "I guess he is a bit controlling? But I know he only does it because he loves me." The way Hori says it felt like she was trained to say it like that. It doesn't sound like she believes what she was saying one bit.

"Controlling huh? Is that why you started to look worried when my mom said he wanted to talk to you?"

She was surprised. She didn't think you would notice that about her. "Ah... I guess I couldn't hide it very well huh."

She nods her head. "Yeah... So my time here is already limited... If my father hears about what happened to me there's a chance that he might shorten that time limit." She tries to smile again but it only comes off as being worried. "Thats why I... I'm worried that I can be suddenly taken away from here..."

You try and make her feel a bit better. "France isn't that bad right? A lot of people want to go there you know!"

Hori appreciates your effort to make her feel better as she smiles. "Thanks Aomine. I'll never forget the time I spent with you here." She smiles at you. "Anyways! Try and find the game that you want to play!" She tells you once again.

"Alright." You tell her as you stare at the huge wall of games in front of you. Then it hit you. If she is feeling down right now then the game she would probably most want to play is DA's game. The one that inspires her. The game her hero made. "I know... Do you have DA's game? I want to see how good it is!" You tell her.

Almost immediately Hori becomes enthusiastic. "Are you sure? I think it's a pretty niche game..."

"I'm sure. Show it to me." You smile at her.

She jumps off her bed and she goes to her closet which was now just a storage for games. "Hmm I think it's here somewhere... A-ha!" She takes out the brown envelope that you saw before and she unseals it. "This is one of my prized possessions." She smiles as she unwraps it.

Then, she takes out a game and hands it to you. "This is it... This is the game that DA made."

You couldn't believe what was in your hand. It was the game you made 3 years ago. It was your debut game. "DA... DA was me?" You stare at the game in your hand as Hori keeps talking about him.

"DA... He was my first love... I wonder what kind of guy he is." She says as she blushes and eyes glowing with excitement. "I can't wait to meet him..." Then she notices you just spacing out staring at the game. "Aomine? Is there anything wrong?"

You couldn't believe it. All along you were the guy she was looking for... "Should I tell her?" You knew that telling Hori that you were the guy she has been searching for all this time would probably complicate things between you and Hori.

"Aomine? Are you okay?" She asks you one more time.

"Hey Hori..." That was when you decided that Hori deserves the truth. "I don't want to surprise your or anything, but remember when I said I might be DA?"

"Mhmm? What is it?" Hori tilts her head like a confused puppy.

"I think I really am DA... This game this was the game I released years ago. It was my first game release." Hori just looks at you dumbfounded. Then she starts to laugh.

"Eh? You don't have to go that far to cheer me up you know!" She dismisses your confession. "I appreciate it though." You couldn't believe that she doesn't belive you!

"Wait! Hold on! I have proof!" You tell her. "Wait here okay? I'm going to get something from my room." In the back of your closet, you kept one sealed copy of the games you've published. If you can provide that to her she would believe you for sure.

You run to your room. You dig through your closet. However try as you might, you couldn't find it at all. "Crap... Where did I put that box?!" You think to yourself. After about 15 minutes of turning your whole room upside down to search for the game and not finding anything you give up on that.

"I know! I'll show her the fanmails she sent me!" You thought to yourself.

You run back to her room and you call her over. "Hori, come to my room. I'll show you definitive proof right now!"

Hori follows you obediently. Sitting down on your computer you try and logon to that email that you put in your site when you made it. "Remember that game's website right? You sent fanmail to DA right?"

"Yeah... I did."

"I'll show you that I receive those fanmails!" You were able to logon to the email account a couple of days ago so you should be able to logon again. Unfortunately, on your first try you seem to have gotten the password wrong. "I must've pressed a wrong key or something." Then you try it again. However it was wrong again. That was when you started to get suspicious.

"Hold on, let me sign on to my real email..." That was the recovery mail for the mail you were trying to sign on to. That was when you found out that there have been multiple hacking attempts for that email account and that the company had to lock it. They sent you an instruction on how to get it back but it was going to take a long time to do so.

"One week to get my account back?! That's ridiculous!" You yell out loud in disbelief.

You try and think of another way to prove it as Hori starts to give you a look of skepticism. "I know! You have probably seen the site right?" That was probably how she sent those fanmails in. "I can login to the official website for the game because I'm the webadmin. I made that site to promote my game!" You tell her.

Browsing through your favourites you could feel your palms sweat. This was the last resort that you could think of to prove it to her. "Please work..." You whisper to yourself over and over. You go to the site to log on but to your horror, you get a web page cannot be found error. It's been such a long time that you haven't paid the people hosting your webpage. When you get there and you saw the error page, you knew right away that they must've taken it down because you haven't paid them recently.

When Hori saw how hard you were trying she bows to you. "I'm really thankful Aomine." However she wasn't thankful because you found DA, she was thankful because she thinks you were trying to just cheer her up.

"Wait! Hori! I'll prove it to you. I really am DA."

"You don't have to Aomine. I know you are just trying to cheer me up." Without proof, there was no way you could prove yourself to be DA..." Hori goes back to her room as she leaves you alone, wondering and pondering where you put the sealed copies of the game you made. That was the fastest way to prove to her that you were DA after all.

Thanks to you trying to find proof to show Hori that you were DA, you completely forgot to call Kyoko. It wasn't until around midnight that you remembered to give her a call. "I forgot about Kyoko!" You look around for your phone in a panic, however, when you find it you saw it had no more batteries. "Crap..." You can imagine it now, how she would react the next day when she sees you at school. "She would absolutely kill me..."

Luckily, you remember her phone number from the top of your head. "I guess I'll just use the landline for now." You jump over to your nightstand and you pick up the landline. However it was already in use.

"Remember Hori, I own you. Ever since I picked you out from that orphanage, I'm your owner." You didn't recognize the voice on the other line so your first reaction was to hang up.

"Yes father. I'm your property. I belong to you..." However, you were able to recognize Hori's voice almost instantly as she responds.
