You've been flying with Videl across the continent, looking for interesting places to stop on your honeymoon. So far, the two of you have stopped at South City, and now continue your trip.

You find yourself above a forest of giant mushrooms that seems to be sitting in the middle of a large desert. You don't see many signs of life, but you do see a large, ruined looking castle in the distance.

"That looks like it'll be fun to explore," you tell Videl.

The two of you fly towards it, and land just outside. The entrance has collapsed, so you're able to just waltz right on in.

You quickly find yourself in a giant maze of hallways, some of which have collapsed in on themselves. A few of the walls seem to have crumbled, so you're able to move a bit more freely. You aren't sure how long this place has been abandoned, but many of the traps are still active.

You break a string, and a chainsaw comes swinging from the ceiling. Ducking beneath it, you keep moving until Videl falls into a pit trap filled with snakes. Luckily, she can fly, and quickly makes her way back out. One hallway is filled with flamethrowers that activate as you move, and the two of you end up with burned rears as you dash through the hall.

Soon, you come to a crossroads. There's a stairway going up, and a dark room ahead. Which way should you go?

You decide to head up the stairs, and find that there are no traps waiting for you as you climb.

However, you quickly realize that you're being watched, and can sense several living creatures not far from your current spot. They're weak, and you aren't entirely sure what they are until you hear the snarling. Obviously, they're canines. Attack dogs, maybe?

As you approach the top of the stairs, you spot a pair of figures waiting for you. They are indeed canine, but their facial structure tells you that they aren't dogs.

It's a pair of wolves, and you can sense more waiting for you upstairs.

You don't want to hurt the animals. So, you decide to go with another course of action.

You begin to gather your energy, displaying your power and putting on a show with the light that surrounds you in an effort to frighten off the beasts. It works, and the two wolves turn tail, fleeing from you.

"So it works as well on animals as it does on criminals," Videl comments. "The wolves aren't as funny to watch run away, though."

The two of you finish climbing the stairs, finding yourselves in the ruins of what was apparently once a kitchen. The table has collapsed, the dishes are shattered, and there's no sign of any food to speak of.

The two of you leave the room, finding yourselves in what appears to be a control room. A smashed computer sits on the far end, and several scraps of metal litter the floor. The computer monitor, which is cracked, has a screen that reminds you of the Dragon Radar.

You also notice two statues, one on each side of the room. Each one depicts a short creature with pointed ears wearing a crown and holding a scepter.

"Wait, isn't that the blue kid from Bulma's party?" Videl asks.

It is a pretty good likeness of him, though one of the statues has a broken scepter, and the other is missing an ear.

"Yeah, I ran into them when I'd just started my training for the Saiyans," you answer, taking another look around the room. "Kami sent me to Olibu's shrine. The three of them were close by, talking about some kind of treasure. The treasure turned out to be the statue's power."

Videl nods. "Okay, well what was that about steak that you were complaining to Pilaf about?"

"Well, when my mom and dad were in the hospital for Drake to be born, they broke into my house. Pilaf ate my steak," you explain.

Videl laughs. "That was seven years ago, you're still upset about that?"

"Yes," you answer, finishing your look around the room and again finding nothing.

An idea occurs to you, and you approach the statue with the missing ear.

You gently remove the scepter, and carry it over to the other statue, putting it in its place.

The statue rumbles and slides forward, revealing a hidden room. You enter, with Videl close behind.

It's a mess. There are three beds in it, all of them collapsed, busted in half, or both. Drawers have been pulled from dressers and thrown around the room, and some broken glass litters the floor.

The two of you search the room, but find very little. You find a white nightgown, and a ninja outfit large enough for a young child which seems to have special earholes.

Beyond that, there are no items of value in the room. You do, however, find a switch beneath one of the beds.

You decide to take the clothes, but your wife immediately tells you to put the nightgown down, so of course you do it. You do, however, take the ninja outfit, putting it in the backpack you brought with you.

You then go to the switch under the bed and flip it. A floor panel opens, revealing a slide going down into the darkness. You hop down, sliding far below the castle and into a dark room.

Videl slides down behind you, and the two of you use your energy to light the room. It's pretty empty, with the walls lined with burnt out torches, and a pistol lying uselessly on the ground. A massive set of steel doors stand at the other side of the room with a control panel next to them.

Approaching the control panel, you see that there's some kind of code needed to open the door. There's apparently a four letter word to enter, and a five letter word, with the two separated by a single space.

You decide to try your luck and enter a password.

"King Pilaf"

You type the letters in, but the screen flashes red, with a message popping up to tell you that the password was incorrect. You hear a rumbling coming from the center of the room, and look back to see a large hole opening up in the floor.

Something large rises from under the ground. As it comes into view, you see that it's some sort of machine with a strange, narrow skull, a flamethrower, a sword, a tail, a number two on its legs, and a skull and crossbones on its forehead.

"Ahoy, matey!" the machine says in a monotone voice before shooting flames in your direction.

You leap out of the way, and Videl rushes towards the robot, kicking through its head and causing it to explode. She lands beside you, crossing her arms and looking over at you.

"So, are you going to open the door, or should I?" she asks.

She rolls her eyes and steps into the room beyond, using her energy to light it up. You follow, and find that, like the previous room, it's mostly empty, save one thing.

A colossal ape sits hunched in the corner, glaring over at you with glowing red eyes. You suddenly have flashbacks to your battle with Vegeta, and the transformations Gohan has made in the past.

The beast roars, rising to its feet and stomping towards you. Its mouth opens wide, and flames billow forth, nearly frying you and Videl. The two of you move out of the way as the creature howls and leaps towards Videl, grabbing her with one massive hand.

"Hey, hands off!" Videl shouts, breaking free of its grip.

She dives to the ground as the creature shoots more flames at her.

You fire another energy blast, destroying the entire robot. With that out of the way, you and Videl search the room, lighting it with your energy.

All you find is a hat much like what the statue wore, and a small, golden scepter.

"As you say, Commander Sorbet," Tagoma says with a bow.

"You and Shisami are in charge of training the soldiers," you inform your subordinate. "Make them as strong as you can as quickly as you can."

"Carro won't be helping?" Tagoma asks.

You shake your head. Carro has always been far too overzealous, which you suppose is to be expected from a Saiyan. You recall stories of him killing several of Lord Cooler's elite warriors in simple training sessions. There's no telling what he'd do to a bunch of low class soldiers.

"If I recall correctly the information gathered during Lord Frieza's time on Namek, some of the Namekians were able to suppress their power levels," you remind Tagoma. "We must be wary of that."

"Yes, Commander," Tagoma says. "I will remind Shisami of this as well. We will see to it that our soldiers are more than capable of dealing with the average namekian."

He bows, turning and exiting the room, leaving you to look up at the stars. Soon, you will be travelling to Namek, and the mightiest beings in the universe will be resurrected.

You and Videl emerge from the castle to find that it has grown dark. The two of you should find a place to sleep for the night.

The two of you decide to look for a town or village in which to spend the night. It takes a bit of searching, but you find some people living not too far from the castle in a small village lit only by campfires.

Some children point into the sky as you and Videl descend, and their parents are understandably frightened when they look up to see two people dropping from the sky. Some scurry into their huts while others grab their weapons and prepare to fight.

"We have little food to offer," a man speaks up nearby. "We are not a rich village. But, if all you require is a place to rest, you are welcome here."

You look over to see that the speaker is a tall, skinny man in orange robes and a turban. A red dot sits in the middle of his forehead, and he looks upon you kindly yet seriously.

"You and your wife may stay in my hut if you wish," he tells you. "There is enough room."

"Nice to meet you," Videl greets politely.

"I am Nam," the man introduces. "It is nice to meet you both."

You decide to repay the kindness of this man, and retrieve the golden scepter from your backpack, offering it to the villagers.

"That is quite generous of you to offer," Nam tells you. "But we cannot accept such a gift from a stranger."

The night passes pleasantly, and the next day, you and Videl take off to continue your honeymoon.
