Kaguya and Videl have been off on their honeymoon for about a week, Kazuma is back in South City with his girlfriend, Billy and Erasa are off doing whatever, and you've just gotten off from work.

Your job at Capsule Corp is still going smoothly. You spent the day making improvements on the new capsule design you've been working on with Kaguya. So far, the project is looking promising, but there's still a good deal of work to be done.

That can wait until tomorrow, though. Tonight, you have a date with Haya. You're supposed to pick her up at her house, then the two of you are supposed to head for Gingertown to grab a bite to eat. Haya told you about this great burger place that you've been dying to try out, so it should be a good time.

You could go there now and show up a little early, or go home first and see your family for a little bit.

You decide that it's probably better to be early in this case than it is to be late. So, with that in mind, you depart from West City and head for Haya's house, but not before buying her some flowers.

It takes less than a minute for you to reach Haya's house, and when you knock on the door, she answers almost immediately.

"Hey, Gohan," she greets with a smile. "You're early."

She raises an eyebrow when she sees the flowers. "Uh...thanks, Gohan. I'll go put these in a vase or something."

Haya's never been into flowers or anything like that, but you know she appreciates it. About a minute later, she comes outside, shutting the door behind her. She's dressed casually, as usual, perfect for going out to get burgers.

The two of you take off and fly towards Gingertown.

"So, how was work?" she asks as the two of you fly side by side.

"Well, I made some good progress on my project," you tell her. "What about you? What did you do today?"

"I helped Goten and Drake train," she answers with a smile. "The two of them are starting to get pretty strong. We might have to watch out for them some day."

You know Goten's getting stronger, and as a Super Human, Drake has the potential to quickly catch up with even the strongest people you know. Haya's probably right; those kids could become stronger than you one day.

The two of you continue with the small talk as you make your way to Gingertown, touching down in the middle of the street and ignoring the wide-eyes of most of the civilians.

For some reason you can't put your finger on, you feel uneasy. As the two of you reach the burger joint and sit down, you can feel the hairs on the back of your neck standing up.

"Okay, what's wrong?" Haya asks.

"I'm not sure," you admit. "But something doesn't feel right. It's like something bad is about to happen."

Haya adopts a serious expression, glancing around for any signs of trouble. You nearly jump out of your seat when an explosion occurs down the street. People scream in terror and flee, but you and Haya rush for the scene.

The building you reach is burning. At least, what's left of it is. Smoke billows all around you, and fleeing people cough from it all. You see a figure in the smoke, a tall person seemingly holding another man by the throat. Then, you see something long and thin appear behind the tall man and stab into his victim. The smaller man vanishes, and the smoke clears to reveal who killed him.

"Gohan, Haya, it's been so long," Cell greets with a smile. "My, how you've both grown. The last time I saw you two, you were so small I could step on you, but now look at you."

Haya drops into a fighting stance, beginning to gather energy.

"Yes...I see you've grown stronger," Cell comments, glancing in her direction. "It's now nearly enough, but you might keep me entertained for a minute or two."

He looks over to you. "And what of you, Gohan? Has that curious energy of yours grown any more potent?"

"How are you alive?" you demand, gathering your energy in preparation of transforming.

"Oh, it's quite simple," he answers. "When hell opened up and I saw how outmatched I was, I left your planet and travelled to others, feeding on life forms across the universe. I've consumed dozens of worlds and billions of people. Now, I have returned, and I'm going to become even mightier."

"And how's that?" Haya asks.

In answer, Cell smirks, and you watch his tail extend behind him, hanging just behind his head as he focuses his eyes on Haya.

With a yell, you transform, sending waves of energy out in all directions as your hair turns golden, your eyes turn green, your muscles grow, and lightning dances around you. Cell temporarily takes his focus off of Haya, smirking at you.

"Ah, there's that power I remember from all of those years ago," he says, turning to face you. "A pity they won't do you nearly as much good now as they did back then."

"Awful cocky for someone we beat when we were kids," Haya tells him.

"Hahaha, yes, I understand your confidence," Cell tells her, taking a step forward. "But you have no idea what you're up against this time."

You rush forward, hoping to strike at Cell while his focus is on Haya. He easily blocks he punch you throw, and answers with a fist to the gut that knocks the breath from your lungs and sends you crashing to the ground a few feet away.

"Gohan!" Haya yells in worry before gathering her energy and firing a colossal blast at Cell.

Cell looks over as the blast comes for him, and it strikes him in a great explosion that forces you to shield your eyes.

Haya comes to your side, standing over you protectively until you get back to your feet, standing beside her as the smoke clears to reveal Cell, dusty but unharmed.

"Well, you've gotten much stronger over the years," Cell says, dusting himself off. "Perhaps Kaguya won't have to die for you this time."

Haya tenses up before exploding towards Cell, throwing a kick that he easily blocks before blasting him in the face with enough force to make him step back. She rushes forward, yelling as she slams her fist into his gut before pushing him back with an energy wave.

Cell chuckles, raising his head to look at her. "Did I touch a nerve?"

Haya takes a step back, cupping her hands at her side. "KAMEHAMEHA!!!!!"

A brilliant blue beam of light shoots towards Cell, who thrusts his hands forward to meet it. The beam slowly pushed him back before, with a yell, he redirects it into the air.

"Damn," Haya curses, dropping into a defensive position.

Cell grins. "You see? You still don't have the strength to defeat me. But you have more than enough power to make an appetizing meal."

"Like hell I'll let you do that to me," Haya says, gathering her energy for another round.

Cell chuckles, stepping towards her. "You don't have a choice."

You come to Haya's side, preparing to help her defend from Cell's next attack.

"Remember, he has those dirty tricks and can stop time to lock us down and absorb us with that tail," you tell her.

"I remember," she says.

"What are you two whispering about?" Cell asks, stepping closer. "Saying your goodbye's?"

You let your energy flare further, trying to send out a distress signal to your friends. Cell smiles at you, and the next thing you know, he's behind you, bringing his elbow down between both yours and Haya's shoulder blades.

The two of you fall forward, pushing yourselves back up and spinning to attack. Before Haya can fire a blast, Cell kicks her in the jaw, knocking her from her feet as he deflects your blast with ease. As Haya begins to rise, Cell blasts her, sending her sliding away and crashing into a building, which collapses on top of her.

"I have to say, I'm disappointed, Gohan," Cell comments, turning his attention back to you. "The last time we fought, you were perhaps the strongest fighter on this planet. Yet here you are now, completely unable to even provide me with a challenge."

Keep in mind that Gohan is still probably the fourth strongest person on the planet (behind Kaguya, Goku, and Videl) and if can somehow figure out how to turn into a SSJ4, could probably jump into being an actual threat against Cell.

But that would probably mean Cell would want to absorb Gohan and see if he can't figure out if he can go SSJ4 himself via Saiyan cells...

I basically want to rustle Cell and get him agitated and not completely focused on the fight.

Look for an opening to do an after image into Solar Flare into retreating with Haya, with us lowering our power levels to avoid detection and getting out safely.

If he's able to casually shrug off everything we're throwing at him, best course of action is to retreat, warn everyone and maybe pull out the SSJG and SSH calvary.

Cell backhands you, sending you crashing into the rubble on top of Haya. Blood leaks from your mouth, and Cell frowns in your direction.

"Well then, Gohan, I'd say you've piqued my curiosity," he tells you, slowly drawing closer. "Let's see what exactly you're made of."

You hold your hands in front of your head like you're about to use the Masenko, but instead quickly move them in front of your face.

"Solar Flare!"

A blinding flash of light disorients Cell, and you begin digging under the rubble for Haya, only to watch it all vanish in a flash of light as Haya blasts her way out.

Her clothes are torn, and she has a few bruises, but she looks as if she'll be fine. The two of you look towards Cell, who blindly fires an energy blast your way. The two of you take to the sky and begin to retreat, only to find Cell right in front of you.

"You're going to run before showing me your hidden power?" he asks before blasting Haya in the chest.

She yells as she plummets to the ground below, and Cell looks over at you with a smile.

"Oh no, you've given me something to work for," Cell tells you. "Now let's see that power!"

He punches you in the face, sending you crashing to the ground not far from Haya. He slowly lowers himself to the ground, positioning himself between the two of you.

"Still nothing?" he asks you. "Perhaps you simply lack the right incentive."

He extends his hand towards Haya, beginning to gather energy. However, before he can unleash it, a bright light shoots from the sky and strikes Cell from behind.

The blast throws you and Haya into the air before letting you crash painfully nearby. A crater forms where Cell was standing, and several nearby buildings collapse.

Piccolo descends from the sky, floating in the air near the crater. Cell slowly rises, smirking at the Namekian.

"Another insect comes to be crushed," Cell comments with a chuckle. "I didn't expect to be you, Piccolo. I always assumed you were smart enough to know when you didn't stand a chance."

"Don't count me out so quickly, Cell," Piccolo warns. "I'm stronger than I was the last time we fought. Or did you really think I went this long without training?"

Piccolo removes his weighted training clothes, tossing them to the side and cracking his knuckles.

"Well then, let's see if you're worth my time," Cell says, looking up at Piccolo expectantly.

You feel the wind begin to pick up, and Piccolo lets out a yell, his energy climbing rapidly as the wind howls around him. More buildings collapse nearby, and his body becomes surrounded with a blinding light.

Cell continues to smirk even as Piccolo's power continues to climb. Your friend's grown much more powerful over the years, but you doubt it's anywhere near enough to defeat Cell.

"That's it, Piccolo," Cell tells him. "Let it all out."

Piccolo continues yelling, and the ground under you rumbles. Smoke shoots out from manhole covers nearby, and several motor vehicles explode. Chunks of rubble rise into the air, slowly being reduced to dust as Piccolo's power eats away at them.

With a final yell, Piccolo finishes his power up, his body remaining surrounded by a bright glow, and a confident expression on his face as he readies to fight.

You rush over to Haya, checking to make sure that she's alright. She appears to be fine, and the two of you watch as Piccolo fires a blast of energy down at Cell, striking him in the face and causing an explosion.

Cell remains where he is, and appears unharmed when the smoke clears.

Piccolo brings his fingers to his forehead, gathering energy.

"Special Beam Cannon!" he shouts, firing the spiraling attack down at Cell, who deflects it away.

Cell casually raises a hand and fires a small energy blast. Piccolo dodges it, firing a volley of blasts in retaliation. They all strike Cell, but once again, he appears unharmed.

"You may have gotten stronger, Piccolo, but you're still no match for me," Cell says, slowly moving towards the Namekian.

"Gohan, Piccolo isn't going to win this alone," Haya tells you. "You need to find a way to go Super Saiyan 4."

So you try. Letting out a yell, you gather every last bit of energy you can, but don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Cell fires two blasts this time, and Piccolo dives to avoid them, firing an energy wave towards Cell. Cell flies forward, passing right through the blast and punching Piccolo, sending your Namekian friend bouncing off the ground and crashing into a building.

Cell prepares a blast to finish Piccolo off, and Haya rushes towards the bio-android, gathering her own energy to attack. Cell turns towards her, firing an energy wave that she spins to avoid before throwing two balls of light at him.

Cell blasts the balls before they reach him, and they detonate in a large explosion that produces a great deal of smoke. Haya flies into the smoke, and a moment later Cell is knocked out of it, landing on his back.

Haya emerges from the top of the smoke cloud, holding her hands over her head.

"MASENKO, HA!" she screams, firing a yellow beam of energy down at her opponent.

It's a direct hit, and a massive crater is created at the sight of the explosion. Still, Cell gets back up, firing an energy wave up at Haya.

She dives to avoid the attack, only for Cell to appear right above her and shoot an energy wave into her back, sending her crashing to the ground below and forming another crater.

Cell smirks over at you. "Shall I kill her now? Or are you going to show me that power you were talking about?"

Haya rises and fires a colossal energy wave from the crater, only to have Cell knock it aside with a yell. He fires a blast down at Haya, and you hear her scream.

Next thing you know, Cell kicks you in the face, and you crash into the side of the crater. He looks down at Haya, placing his foot on her head.

Haya thrusts a hand up, blasting Cell between the legs, which only prompts him to apply weight to her skull.

Haya screams, and you feel the anger continue to boil.

Cell laughs, then gasps in surprise as Videl comes flying out of nowhere, kicking him in the back of the head and sending him crashing into the crater right beside you.
