White light line with gold sparkles begin to pick up from the ground as she twirls around, copying one of Charlottes attack spells. I grin, no way in hell can Jamie avoid this with her size, but maybe I can...maybe I'm just fast enough to get out of the way.

Oh I can't believe I pulled that off and got out of there at the same time, Charlotte would've loved to see that, but I'm pretty sure Amanda would be upset if I told her, since it was pretty reckless of me

I slam my metal rod into the top of her skull, as a loud crack resounds through the other wise empty air, as she manages to glance me with her hand, sending a tingle through me as the world gets just a bit bigger again.

She opens her mouth to laugh, but before she can, jamie grabs her and squeezes her in her hand, sounds of bones popping, bending and cracking sounding off before she lets her go to couch up tiny gears and purple blood.

She looks back up at me and grins as more smoke rises from her as flames lick the side of her face.

"Oh you're starting to look more like your little sister than yourself...I wonder if your short friend holiday would react if she saw you know" She laughs before Jamie punches her again

She groans, as Jamie lifts her fist off of her.

"Oh fuck me, again?" Lovely sighs as a great wall of blue light slams into her, tearing the street up as she groans from the ground, blood dripping down her n..naked body

She glares at me

"You know, I've used barely over half of my masters gifted magic" She says flatly, staring at me with one eye open "and I don't want to waste the other seal...so be a good little girl and STAND STILL, CRONUS CHARGE!"

Thats was what he meant, its not really power creep, but the MC was too overpowered.

I don't think that was the reason he dropped it though. He could have found ways to chalenge us by actually making Emilies range limit mean anything.

Nah, Legion wouldn't hgave increased Laylas actual strength, it would have just meant she is less killable than now, which she already is only barely.

I think its the opposite. Legion doesn't let Layla do more things, so its not the sort of power creep that makes the character harder to challenge.
Its just the logical conclusion of the reason why we got the vampire thing to begin with, to allow for Laylas dangerous lifestyle to play out, while not risking QUEST END, because of a string of crit fails.

I swerve to the side, as a beam of white and golden brown light flows out of her mouth like vomit, barely missing me as she screams some more, as Jamie grabs her head, squeezing down on it

"CRONUS BLOOM!!!!!!!!!!" She bellows, Jamie getting pushed away with waves of white and gold as she shrinks slightly "I AM DONE, TWO MORE SPELLS, YOU WASTED MY MASTERS MAGIC CRIMSON"

I don't see it doing aynthing. we can't reliably restrain her against her master, we can't redeem her on the spot. So putting her to sleep seems kind of like a waste.

I clench my staff ready to...no I'm not, I can't just kill her, I mean she used to be just like me, I mean sure she did turn herself into a horrible monster, and nearly bit my arm off, but I wouldn't just put any of my friends down if they were in the same situation, and I know i couldn't ever face her friends again.

I sigh, damn you my kind heart. I smile kindly and fly down to her as Jamie struggles to get out of the snow.
