Hestia has not yet created a public link for people to freely move between the city above and the goblin city in the pit. Robots maintain public order and security, supplies are still being freely distributed since trust of the household replication units is low. Trust is the largest issue right now, even medical facilities are being mostly ignored. Propaganda is being spread but it will take time to alter programming to fit the needs of the new massive population. There is some resentment of the nature of the economy as hard workers and scammers alike find the lack of need for currency disturbing. The population is surprised at the freedom of movement allowed and many think that the free housing is a trick. Some remember the goblins assisting when the refugee crisis was bad, but overall public opinion of goblins remains very low.

>Casino gang – The gang is trying their best to adapt to their new role as a legitimate business. There has been some desertion as robots taking over all the jobs left the gang without much to do.

>Administration – The confetti golems are causing mass chaos, even fire seems to be unable to purge them. Scans indicate that even a single piece of paper is enough to start an infestation. The upper levels have been placed under full quarantine to try and halt the spread.


Tslah’s movements are sharp and exact when she arrives to meet you, her pure gold eyes lock onto you as she gracefully enters the room. She is cautiously optimistic that you have returned, but is unsure how she can bridge the seemingly growing gap between the two of you.


“So you have returned, you honor me with your presence,” Tslah says, “as you see the others are fully under control. I have sent expeditions to recover anything possible from the ruins of my people’s city.”


She tries to gauge your response to what she is doing here but it is difficult for her because she can sense the residue of the succubi magic, even your own impressive power can’t yet naturally mask the traces from a woman’s intuition.

“Unfortunately no,” Tslah takes note of Ayla ruining one of her favorite fruits, “from what I understand there are some living, or being held in some of the deeper layers of hell. I do not have the strength to control things here and travel the hells looking for them, yet.”

“In the past what were your people like?”

“Proud,” Tslah chuckles, the sound is interestingly similar to hissing, “perhaps hubris was our undoing, only my father held true strength; the others just held status by their relation to him.”

“If they built a functional society then was there less behavior similar to other demons?”

“By your human standards yes we are evil but it is more relative in hell is it not?” Tslah counters, she is worried that perhaps this difference in nature is the problem then.


“You are going to travel deeper now?” Tslah asks, “May I ask that you help my people if you find any of them?”


“Master is good at helping!” Ayla chimes into the conversation.

“Even freeing them to come to me on their own is enough,” Tslah continues, “my servant has told me that many find themselves living at the cathedral or with the blood mages. Any who have gone lower into the hells are likely lost. ”

Ayla needs some time to recover still, or is just being happy and lazy, so you leave Tslah’s place behind and attempt to locate the Ghaele General, you see some human looking people interacting with demons on fairly equal terms. When a fight happens, the lightning bolts the ghaele can unleash usually shuts things down fast enough or everyone involved faces the drones.

A sector of the outpost has been refurbished to fit the needs to the ghaele with paths large enough to easily fit their alternate sphere forms. You catch sight of a black sphere, but it quickly ducks through spatially folded areas to avoid you. You didn’t come for the black merchant this time though so you let him off.


The multicolored sphere of the ghaele general floats in the middle of a mixed group of ghaele and weaker demons, they are requesting various things mostly that Tslah should be overthrown and the General should rule. That sort of talk ends immediately when you approach, some of the demons can smell the scent of Tslah’s blood on you and are clever enough to understand what that means.

“Greetings dragon slayer,” the general says, she is a still a bit terrified you actually fought a dragon and could choose to end her and her charges at any time, “to what do we owe this honor?”


The crowd disperses, unsure what this meeting is about but also not willing to stick around and get into trouble. The general transforms back into her human shape, but she doesn’t try using her psychic power since she knows how that will end.

“Soza” The general says, she doesn’t think you care that all the ghaele are from the Trion clan, they were cast out for the mutation always so it doesn’t matter.

“About as much as expected, they lie, cheat and steal. But it is no worse than anyone else,” Soza says, “I am more worried about the constant push to depose Tslah.”

“Don’t get caught up in the demons pace,” you explain, “they are not going to stop, so you can ignore them.”


“I leave the demon problems to Tslah, but as long as you are not worried about their plans to rape her,” Soza comments, “but that isn’t really my place to say anything.”

“My visit here should have ended that. But I am interested to know how you are adjusting to life here,” you ask her, “do your people need anything at all?”

“I understand that our position here, while free, is little better than a conquer people,” She says regretfully, “as such what we have is sufficient.”

“If you need something then just ask, we are not keeping you captive here,” you remind her, “but tell me do you know anything about Iblis or hell?”

Ayla perks up at mention of this and giggles something a collection growing. As you let the question be processed you touch the general’s mind and prepare to make a few alterations.


“Wait!” She tries to stop you, “please do not do this, I would like to not have my mind tapered with any more.”

She had expected hell to be well, hell. The treatment you have shown her people is much better than she ever thought it would be. As a female solider she knew rape was only a single capture away, but this is totally different.


“I, I, fine,” Soza says, “the strong take from the weak, if it means keeping the others safe I will be your bride.”

The more she thinks about it, the better the idea seems. Having a dragon slayer be on her side is worth the sacrifice, she can make this work for her people.

“I was just kidding,” You tell her, Soza thought you were entirely serious, and Ayla is mad at you for about three seconds because she wanted a cool ball person thing, “you should be less uptight about the strength thing, your people are free so if you need anything, really, just ask.”

Soza reflexively exhales, it is as though a weight has been lifted off her shoulders.


“That was not funny. I would do such a thing to keep my people safe,” she tells you relieved, “but thank you, honestly. It means a lot to me that you truly are not going to enslave and kill us all. ”


“Master don’t do that!” Ayla says annoyed, “you’re going to break someone’s heart like that.”


Soza, Ayla and a nearby spinning drone gang up on you for a while. You have to spend some time chatting with them all but in the end you come out the other side better not having mind controlled her more.

She is dead serious that she would accept to keep her people safe, but she isn’t interested in you that way, you power is impressive but her duty is her people. So you negotiate with Hestia to allow the ghaele free access to move around if the pass the learning program tests, the same conditions the demon’s face.

You part ways with the ghaele general, being on much better terms and head back to the mirror portals. On the third layer of hell you find that the storm is nearly completely gone now, rather than sunlight there just seems to be an eerie green glow coming from above now. Ayla has fun flying with you to find the dimensional fatigue.


When you find it, Ayla begins to plane shift you to the fourth circle of hell.


A cacophonous roar is all you hear as you step into a plane of endless war. Demons, undead, humans, and countless other factions of seemingly random technological levels all engage in battle with each other, countless live being lost every second. You use your domain and control over air to create a barrier around Ayla and yourself, and you consider if you even want Ayla to be here.

You move the barrier closer to the dinosaurs, skeletons and zombies of the terrible lizards that should have long since been extinct, at least from your perspective from life on earth, trample across the battlefield tearing into their enemies.

The leader of the army seems to be a single necromancer riding on a tyrannosaurus rex zombie, if you are sensing things correctly the necromancer is a lich. It fires blasts of energy into the other armies as its mindless thralls keep it safe.

Its undead troops seem to be extremely durable taking hits that should shatter their bones and many of the opposing armies have no effective defense against the swooping pteranodons.


Your barrier keeps you protected as you move closer to the lich, and Ayla seems confused she doesn’t like that the dinosaurs are zombies but they are dinosaurs and she wants to keep them.

Undead are not exactly living so you attempt to mix life draining energy and unholy energy together to wash over the dinosaurs with. Their worn bones grow and reform, chips and fractures fade away as they heal. Then you continue feeding the power into them, increasing the density of the of the skeletons bones and forming an unholy barrier to protect them. The zombie’s flesh grows back and wounds close, the flying dinosaur’s wings become whole once more enabling better flight. The zombies look much closer to how they once were in life, and their eyes glow with power.


“One servitude exchanged for another,” the lich deeply sighs, “unusual for the living to posses such power over the dead.”


“Oh oh! Look master this is magic!”Ayla tries to pull the lich’s staff away from it.

“Yes now stop before you pull my bones apart,” the lich pulls the staff away from Ayla.

“I want to know that which you know,” you tell the lich as you pry into its mind and look at its memories.


The lich is unable to resist you will and shows you everything. It has been sent here to butcher the endless armies and raise corpses to send back to its previous masters. Living captive were also requested if possible to obtain. The recounts the endless bone necropolis of its masters, the undying armies that they build and the foul magic that they create. The highest of the undead to walk the plane of death are ancient elder lichs. They serve as a council to enact the will of unknown powers ever greater than themselves.


The lich doesn’t seem to know much more necromantic magic than you do, you could pull the magic knowledge from it now, or wait until you can link up with Hestia to catalog them.

“Let’s go and see the other army of undead now then,” you tell Ayla.


“Okay~ we can play with dinosaurs later!” Ayla says, she jumps on top of a tyrannosaurus rex zombie to ride.


As you move with your army and domain across the battle field towards the other army of undead you let your power build up in your body, slowly tainting it with foulness before suddenly bursting free from the limitations of flesh and taking on a form of pure unholy energy. Aylah frowns at your elemental form because unholy energy tastes gross.


Skeletons riding on skeleton horses ride forth across the battlefield, one skeleton wields a mighty blade seemingly crafted from a bolt of lightning. The skeleton knights cut down any demons who approach them, but they seem to avoid attacking the other factions if they stumble upon them.


With your power bolstering them and keeping them in top condition your army of dinosaurs cuts a path through the chaotic battlefield, enabling you to eventually envelop all the skeleton knights with your domain.


You trigger the same effect with the control undead spell again, your unholy power is nearly repelled by the holy nature of the knights. Within your domain though the skeletons are unable to deny your will and you add their forces to your own.


The knights ride to join ranks with your undead dinosaurs, their commander taking up position flaking Ayla to protect one side of her, while the lich protects the other.

“Before you subdued our will we were an order of paladins sworn to battle evil for all time,” the knight responds as it effortlessly uses it lightning sword to cut down a demon that lunges forward to attack, “Ten thousand years ago our patron fell in combat with a foul god and used the last of his strength to empower us to fight in his name, a name we have long since forgotten to our shame.”


“You seem to shift freely between such notions, so I ask that we are assigned to continue our mission my lord,” the knight commander says.


“Paladins, how insufferable,” the lich comments, “you should have remained dead.”


You ignore the lich and look over the number of knights you’ve gained.

You shuffle through the knight commander’s memories trying to look deeper into his mind, searching for a hint of his forgotten memories. You find nothing more than endless battle. The knight is unable to even remember his own name, the only reason they know the passage of time is from the carefully carved markings they make on their own bones. They truly believe the story the told you, as nothing else they think of can explain how when members of their order are struck down that they return to unlife on what they think is the coming of the next day.


You are a bit let down that you find nothing, but the knight just nods is if grateful that you tried.


"Understand that even things which seem unnatural and evil have a place in the world. I have had reasonable success in reforming even demons. They aren't quite good yet, but those under my control are certainly no longer evil," you give a mighty speech to the gathered undead army, “And now, I will grant you a measure of rest from this endless war, Ayla if you will please send them all home.”


“This is going to take forever master!” Ayla complains a bit, but gets started like you asked her to.


Hundreds of thousands of undead warp out with her every trip, and you can feel Hestia’s annoyance via the probes you carry as she scans how many you have to bring over. The undead armies are able to secure a defensive position to protect Ayla as she works. Their defensive ring slowly but surely shrinks as Ayla planar shifts more of them out of hell. The knights dismount and allow the skeletal horses to be sent first, they have formed a strong bond with the undead animals after the long time fighting without end.


Since everything seems to be looking good you decide to wander off and check out another army.

With the balance of power shifting as the undead pull back, the human forces are forced to protect an ever shrinking territory. The group of them with what looks like light power armor is faring better, their technology giving them the power to hold the demons off for now. The other group, most of their members clad in gas masks, are not doing as well with their fortified positions being overrun rapidly.


Despite radiating an unusual combination of holy and unholy energy you mange to slip into their ranks and stealthily move about looking for their leaders. The group of people are all men, and they think in German, their uniforms are surprisingly stylish as well. You eventually locate some men without gasmasks and they seem to be very unusual to you. It is as though they are neither alive nor dead but stuck in a state partway between the two; even their own allies fear them.


From what you gather these men are an occult deployment from Neuschwabenland, they have been tasked in acquiring the deed to hell in what was determined to be the easiest circle of hell to do so for them.

You feel some weak psychic energy try to locate your mind unsuccessfully as another man tries to examine you. “I sense no mind at work here, I sense nothing at all,” he says, “it is unsettling.”

A third man tries detecting magic at work, but you watch as the spell is just absorbed harmlessly. The man is every surprised by this. “Take caution, it absorbs magic,” he warns the others.


“Your forces are inadequate for your purposes here,” you tell them, in flawless German. The troops are alerted by your words, and draw their weapons and take aim at you. You ignore them as you begin to look into their minds.


You see a glorious paradise of ubermensch where all work towards the glory of the people, the nation, and the fuhrer. Everything is perfect or else. The or else seems to be indicative of a strongly overbearing central authority, but the soldiers around you all seem happy enough with their lives in Neuschwabenland and look forward to returning to their wives and families if they survive.


The men curse at each other in German blaming each other for this situation. They were not expecting you to be more than an unusual phenomenon.

You continue to look at their minds, the three men here are in fact in charge but it still bothers you that they are not really alive or dead. You look into their memories, the men are from three departments, occult science, magic, and psionics. Their strange nature is because they were all killed, the brought back to life using an occult ritual, being partly dead and partly alive grants them unusual beneficial abilities. The Nazis advancements into these fields is far beyond even the other major supernatural organizations on earth. You discover that they have a machine to force open a portal back to earth. The machine is highly guarded but they can’t stop you if you wanted to take it.

Yes, the few you have give much less 'per unit' than the succubi but they give an increase per thread.

Again, getting some sort of rituals or something going would assist in getting more.
