First make a ruckus outside and as humans are paralyzed distraced and or focused on the ruckus outside the second Xeno grabs whoever is closer to the vent. Do not try to open the vent before the ruckus otherwise the whole plan might go to hell.

Dildo and Raptor, being the elite operators they are, synchronize their movements, as Dildo, begins banging around out front of the room, the guards all turn their, heads reach for their weapons and make a bee line for the door.
Well, the two playing cards do, the 3rd is nowhere to be seen, his flame thrower is laying on floor next to a broken vent cover.
No one heard the vent break open, as Dildo was a fantastic distraction.

The guards at the door are hesitant to exit, for obvious reasons, but remain vigilant with their eyes painted on the thick door.

The 3 personnel, lying on the bunks, shoot up as the noise begins and look towards the door as well.

Raptor is inside the vents with his unconscious host.
The future queen would be proud.

A) Have the drones return.
B) Have one drone return. (Which one?)

Raptor returns to the hive, too see the praetorian having gorged itself on the Kentucky fried colonist from earlier, has formed a large chrysalis and begun it’s metamorphisis into a Queen, the Hive grows…

Laying the comatose guard down, next to an egg, the Raptor hangs around the hive too guard the growing queen, it’s instincts necessitating so.

The guard deposited by the egg has been facehugged and impregnated with a xenomorph embryo.

Dildo, remains outside the residency, staring menacingly into the room whilst pacing back and forth.
The guards and personnel with in, are clearly on edge, and panicking, none take their eyes of you.

You take this opportunity too…

A) Jump into the vents and continue making noise above them.
B) Continue pacing outside.

Dildo channels it’s inner asshole, and leaps upwards into the vents, over the next 5 hours, it continuously knocks around, making hissing sounds, and bumping into the shafts.

Every noise is greeted by an undisciplined bang, and cursing from below. No one is sleeping on your watch.
The atmosphere is definitely paranoid and desperate, they are running out of options.

Peering through one of the vents, Dildo is able to see one of the guards desperately clinging to consciousness, her head, slowly slips downwards, until shooting back up and shaking.

They are exhausted.

The drowsy guard eventually slips off into a deep slumber, the remaining guard and the 3 personnel are currently huddled up on the other side of the room, they do not notice you slip silently out of the vent under the cover of the dark room, carefully you subjugate the sleeping host and hoist her up into the vent.

As you do so, one of the people across the room, look over and notice the person missing.
All hell breaks loose, the guard looks up towards the vent raises the flame thrower and looses a continuous blast of liquid fire.

Shots ring off as 2 more people raise their side arms and start popping off shots towards your ventilation shaft, luckily none hit you, but you doubt you will be able to surprise them again.

Dildo, makes haste back towards the hive, to drop of the final host.

All of the eggs are now exhausted, but soon you will have 3 drones, a warrior and a queen.
The Hive has taken root, and soon ore hosts will be present.

There is a loud boom, as you hear what sounds like fast moving craft?

The marines have arrived, the party is just getting started…

if a player gets the role of a xenomorph, yes.

They are able to open gas-canisters and destroy the electronics. In the right combination, they can put the whole station to sleep and then just infecting them.

The Zerg from Starcraft didn't have Space-travel until the Overmind psi-enslaved a bunch of Behemoths / Giant Space Manta-Whales.

We should obviously do the same, and use the DNA for a new purestrain to be perma-saved to the Hive.

I think they "rest" like fish, I don't think they actually fall unconscious unless they're hibernating to stay alive over very long periods of time.
Considering they were genetically tailored from the ground up, they're bodies probably make much more efficient use of energy than ours do, and thus whatever level of rest they need is significantly less.

There must be some way to impregnate hosts without outright killing them, or impregnating them with multiple embryos to enhance efficiency.

As it stands, xenomorphs are limited to the number of hosts they can capture alive, which seems really ineffective.
