Age: 731

Location: Planet Vegeta

Information: The Saiyans have successfully conquered a world for Frieza, and have been brought into his army. They are breaking into teams to invade various worlds for Frieza's organization. Daikon, having just assembled a team, now takes them to get their first assignment.

Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

Some of us anons were talking at the end of the last thread. Could we devote some time for sparring and general training? Conquering planets seems a little too ambitious for 5 warriors of our strength.

You and your team enter a large room, at the other side of which sits a large computer monitor surrounded by several groups of Saiyans.

Images of planets appear on screen, with small bits of information being displayed next to them. The planets become surrounded with a red square when a Saiyan squad selects them, marking them as unavailable for assignment to other teams.

You approach the monitor, and find yourself standing in front of a control console. Right now, small images of four planets are on display.

One is Planet Dian, a grassy world that Frieza apparently wants for its natural resources. The average power level of the warriors there is only 200, and the reward for the planet's capture is 25000 Frids, which you assume to be the currency used by Frieza's people.

Another is a red world known as Planet Suvius. It's a volcanic world of warriors that Frieza apparently wishes to enslave. The average power level is 1000, and a full moon will not occur for a week after you arrive. The reward is 50000 Frids

The third world is known as Oma, with a thriving civilization and a people Frieza wants in his army. Average power is around 1000, and a full moon will occur three days after landing. The reward is 50000 Frids

The final planet is called Hara, and it is a wasteland, only desired for the large deposits of natural fuels located underground. The warriors average around 1500-2000, and the beasts can get much stronger. The pay is 100000 Frids

You decide that your team will take Planet Dian, and enter your selection into the computer.

A red square surrounds the planet, and its image vanishes from the screen. A moment later, planet Hara vanishes as well, and you glance over to see Bardock step away from the computer, throwing a smirk in your direction before he departs with his team.

One of Frieza's soldiers approaches you. He's one of those odd, tailless-saiyan looking creatures armed with a blaster.

"I'll escort your team to your ships," he tells you, leaving the room.

You follow him to a launch pad, where five of those pod-shaped ships sit waiting for you. They open up, and Rugula immediately gets inside of hers. Sabi climbs into his as well. Their pods shut.

"The coordinates are already entered into the ship computers," the soldier explains. "You just need to climb in and tell it to launch. Your ship's computer also has information on the world you're travelling to."

"How long is the flight?" Soko asks.

Without asking any further questions, you climb into your pod, which quickly closes. The inside lights up, and a computer console in front of you springs to life.

You decide to see what information there is on the planet you're travelling to.

Planet Dian's environment is habitable for many forms of life, and its inhabitants are a primitive people. They mostly live in tribes scattered across the planet, though there are a few examples of larger civilization to be found.

The tribes vary in temperament, with some being peaceful and others being violent. Aside from occasional exceptions, warriors on the planet are generally around 200 as far as power levels.

You decide to rest on the way over, and activate the hibernation sequence in your ship. Everything darkens, and you soon drift off to sleep.

A beeping awakes you, and you open your eyes to see yourself speeding towards a planet.

"Now approaching, Planet Dian," the computer informs you as you break the atmosphere.

Your ships rapidly descend towards the ground, crashing and creating craters around each pod. The pod slowly opens, welcoming you to planet Dian, and you step out, slowly ascending fro the crater and looking around.

There's plenty of grass, and the plains stretch as far as you can see in any direction. Strange feathered creatures on two legs flee from you and the others as fast as they can. The scouter puts them around 250 each.

"Those look tasty," Sabi comments.

You fly after the retreating creatures, flying with a speed that makes you feel weightless. Your increase in power feels magnificent, and you grin like a child as you speed after your prey.

You overtake them quickly, grabbing two and snapping their necks. The others scatter, but you grab two more before they can flee and kill them as well.

Rugula catches the last one, breaking its neck and slinging it over her shoulder.

Your team sits in a circle, devouring your food raw since you can't find much firewood. It's not remarkable, but after two weeks with no food, it certainly hits the spot.

"So, how are we handling this?" Soko asks. "We going to start picking off villages one at a time?"

"We could split up," Rugula suggests. "With power levels at 200 each, a group of two or three should be able to handle a village no problem."

"What about the larger settlements?" Azu asks. "We might need the whole team to take them."

You announce that you want everyone to stick together.

Rugula rolls her eyes. "Whatever. Just nobody get in my way."

Sabi chuckles. "This should be fun, I can rip some of these weaklings apart and see what the rest of you can do at the same time."

Soko smirks. "Good point. I guess it is a good idea to know how strong my teammates are."

Rugula gives him a smirk. "We have scouters for a reason."

"Scouters aren't perfect," Soko replies. "After all, you had a higher power level than Daikon when he beat you."

"That was a fluke, and you know it," she protests. "I'll be back on top before long, just you wait. No matter how strong he's gotten, I'll get stronger."

Soko smirks. "We'll see."

"So, where are we starting?" Azu asks.

"Sounds good to me," Sabi says, smiling as he stands up and tosses away the remains of his meal.

Rugula looks at you like you've said something sensible for the first time in your life.

Soko activates his scouter, looking to the east. "There's a lot of them about fifty miles that way. Average around 200, but almost half a dozen around 400."

"Hmm, they might put up a fight," Azu says as she stands up.

The five of you leave the carcasses behind and fly towards the power levels in the distance, coming to a large walled city with hundreds of guards looking out over the plains.

You tell the others to follow you as you rise higher into the air, out of the sight of the guards manning the walls.

Your team move into the air above the city, using your scouters to keep track of where you are.

Slowly, you descend until you see the settlement, spotting hundreds, perhaps thousands of natives. They look very similar to saiyans, but with more tanned skin, and, of course, no tails.

All around there are merchants, houses, and a large building in the center that looks like the home of whomever rules this settlement.

You tell your team to attack, and they gladly oblige, rushing in and striking the enemy with good old fashioned Saiyan ferocity.

Soko blasts three away before they can even get halfway across the room. Azu leaps into the air and rains energy blasts down on the charging guards, bringing down another half-dozen.

A half dozen reach you, some leaping, some charging, all coming for your head.

Moving faster than your foes can really keep track of, you take to the air above one of the leaping warriors, kicking him in the back and sending him crashing into one of his fellow guards, causing both to fall to the ground in a crumpled heap.

The six guards are now together with the two you defeated earlier. And, when you hold your right hand down towards them and unleash a massive blast of energy, they die together too.

You land and look over your shoulder to see Sabi backhand two guards across the room, sending them crashing into a trio of others.

Rugula strolls across the room, casually knocking aside any guards that attack her, then finishing them with energy blasts.

Soko finishes off the five floored guards as Sabi rushes into a dozen others. Azu picks off stragglers from above, and you blast away a pair that were trying to sneak up on her.

In less than a minute, every guard in the room is dead.

"That's it?" Sabi asks in a disappointed tone. "They didn't even put up a fight."

"What did you expect?" Rugula questions. "We came to a planet full of weaklings."

"Well, those stronger power levels I picked up before are apparently in the next room," Soko comments. "Maybe they can keep us entertained."

"We'll see," Rugula comments, extending her hand towards the large doors and blasting them down.

You and the others enter the room, finding an overweight man sitting on a throne, with five warriors standing between you and him.

"Guards, kill them!" the fat man demands.

You order your squad to attack, and they spring into action at once, rushing at the guards as they come for you.

You leap up, kicking one and sending him crashing into the wall behind the fat man. Rugula dodges a spear-strike and chops at the throat of one of the guards before gripping his head and twisting it until his neck breaks.

Sabi toys with his foe, breaking the guard's arm after the weaker fighter attempted to punch him. He doesn't kill the guard immediately, but you know the fight is as good as over.

Soko brings his opponent to his knees with a punch to the gut, then executes him with an energy blast.

Azu handsprings over her opponent, landing behind him and blasting him in the back. As he falls, she fires several more blasts into his body, killing him as he hits the ground.

The guard you kicked away stands back up, jumping between you and the fat man.

You fire a single energy blast, and his scorched body falls to the ground.

The overweight alien trembles in his throne, looking fearfully between you and your squadmates.

You instruct Rugula to stop.

She does so, albeit grudgingly, and with a rather unpleasant look in your direction. The fat man lets out a relieved sigh, though any lessening of fear he might have felt seems to reverse as you approach him.

You give the man a choice. His people can either pledge allegiance to Lord Frieza, or all be destroyed.

"Y-yes, I will gladly pledge my allegiance to your Lord!" the man tells you. "But...."

"But what?" Soko prompts.

"But my people are not the only ones on this world," he explains. "There are other people, other tribes who will not see reason."

"Then they'll die," Rugula says with a shrug.

"Yes...but the people I rule will not be enough to give much service to Lord Frieza," the man tells her.

"Good point," she replies, holding her palm towards him.

"W-w-wait!" he shrieks. "I have an idea!"

"So do I," Rugula tells him. "And I'm pretty sure mine's more fun."

"Me too," Sabi agrees.

"Just-just hear me out," the man begs. "What if you were to help me conquer the other people on this planet?"

"Why would we do that?" Soko asks.

"Well, the whole planet would have one ruler, one ruler who would be loyal to your Lord Frieza," the man explains. "And, there would be more than enough people to serve."

>A. Fine, he has a deal

>B. No (let Rugula kill him)

>C. No (Kill him)

>D. Something else

How about you swear now, and then we'll decide? You do not dictate to me fat man.

"You haven't listened well," you tell the fat man. "We want your people to surrender, not for them to be under a ruler. I'm sure that when enough of the rulers kick it, the people will see where the power is."

You tell Rugula to go ahead and kill him.

She smiles, firing a blast of energy that strikes him in the gut and causes him to slump dead to the floor.

"So, what are we going to do with the body?" she asks. "Hang it in the streets? Put his head on a pike?"

>A. Yes, you want to put the body of the king and his guards on display to send a message

You tell her that you want to put the body of the man and his guards on display in order to send a message to the people.

Rugula gives you a look of approval for the first time since you've met her.

"I like the way you think," Sabi tells you.

"Well then, let's get decorating," Soko says, picking up the corpse and putting it over his shoulder.

You and the others grab what corpses you can, and before long, a gruesome display is hanging outside of the building, where terrified civilians come to gawk.

>A. Tell them that they can all either surrender to Lord Frieza, or die

You give the people the same ultimatum you gave to their leader; serve Lord Frieza, or die.

Most of the people kneel, though some, and most of the soldiers, refuse. They are all dealt with in short order, and those that surrendered are spared, at least for now.

"So, now what?" Soko asks.

>A. You'll start with the nearby villages

>B. Look for another large settlement

>C. Split up (specify a plan)

Regula and I deal with the large settlements, rest of you pacify the villages. Double time, we don't get paid by the hour the faster we get this done with minimal losses the bigger our bonus will be.

sexy

"Rugula and I will deal with the large settlements, while the rest of you handle the villages," you instruct.

"Maybe they'll put up a better fight than these losers in the city," Sabi suggests.

Azu shrugs. "I'm not expecting much from this planet anymore."

"Remember, just take out the natives," you instruct. "The rest could serve Frieza."

"Alright," Soko says. "Hey, maybe if we're lucky, Frieza will give us a bonus for all of the labor we're bringing him."

You split up, heading out to find more natives to bend or break.
