Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

A beeping alerts you to the fact that your ship is fast-approaching Planet Vegeta.

Your eyes open, and you see your homeworld growing closer with each passing second. You feel your body ache as your return to consciousness allows you to feel the pain of your wounds once more.

The pods of you and your team plummet toward the ground below, touching down on a landing pad and opening to allow you to exit.

Two of Frieza's men are manning the pad, and approach your ships as your team disembarks. It takes a moment for you to do the same, and one of the men gives you a concerned look.

"Sir, are you alright?" he asks. "Would you like me to escort you to a healing tank?"

"Hey, this one's even worse!" the other man alerts him, pointing into Azu's pod, where the other Saiyan isn't moving.

"Damn..." the soldier in front of you mutters. "Get her to the medical wing immediately!"

"Right!" the other soldier replies before picking Azu up and rushing down the hall.

"Sir, would you like me to escort you to a healing tank?" the soldier in front of you asks.

You tell the soldier that you can make it yourself, and stumble your way off the pad and down the hall toward the medical wing.

When you finally make it, you see the soldier and Doctor from before placing Azu in the healing tank, hooking her up to everything, and activating it.

"Malaka," the soldier says. "Daikon needs a tank as well."

The Doctor turns toward you. "Does he? Yes, you look like you suffered some significant injuries."

He approaches you and helps you over to the tank. You remove your clothing save your underwear, and step in.

"Now just relax," Malaka instructs. "You and your teammate will be all better in no time."

Liquid begins filling the tank, and you drift into sleep.

When your eyes open, you feel completely refreshed. You step out of the tank, retrieve your armor, and put it back on before grabbing your scouter and reattaching it to your face.

Glancing over, you see that Azu is still inside of the tank.

"She will need a bit more time," Malaka informs you. "But she's recovering nicely. She will be just fine."

Azu looks confused, starting when you tell her that you took a blast for her, and looking even more confused when you told her you let Rugula live.

"Why would you take a blast for me?" she asks. "I mean, I'm glad to be alive, but you could have been killed, and the team would have been down two members instead of just one."

"He's big on this whole "team" idea," Soko explains, finally speaking up. "He thinks us Saiyans should stick together, so since you're on his team, he stuck his neck out for you."

Soko looks over at you. "Not exactly what I'd call good battle sense, but you both survived the fight. And I knew he'd do stupid things like this when I signed on with him."

"Why?" Azu asks him.

"You've seen him fight," Soko comments. "And he's gotten out of a lot of bad situations. On top of that, he's more powerful than any of us. I mean, just check your scouter. He may be soft, but I'd say the positives outweigh the negatives here."
