Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place in the years Frieza controlled Planet Vegeta, as the Saiyans grow in strength and try to find a way to free themselves.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You've become one of the most powerful Saiyans in the universe, but there's still potential for you to grow stronger.

Something snaps inside you, and you let out a yell, feeling an entirely new reservoir of power opening up to you as the ground beneath you trembles, chunks of rock are ripped up and disintegrated, and nearby buildings crumble into dust.

Frieza stares at you in surprise and confusion, not sure what's happening. He adopts a stance that will allow him to attack or defend at a moment's notice.

Your muscles bulge, and sparks of electricity crack around you. The ground beneath you begins to sink, and a howling wind picks up as you continue to let out your power with a deafening yell.

You've spent years of your life with these people, fighting together, growing stronger, defending one another, and now Frieza's taken one of them from you, one you've known almost since the beginning. Now he plans to take away the others, and you won't let that happen.

With a final yell, you see Frieza being pushed back by your power, and the others shielding their eyes. The wind slows, the larger chunks of rock drop to the ground, and Frieza gives you a glare as you step forward.

"What's this?" he asks angrily. "Have you been hiding some power until now? Too bad for your poor friend that your arrogance wouldn't allow you to fight me at full strength from the start. How callous of you."

He smirks. "But, if your intent was to convince me to kill you next, then I daresay you've succeeded!"

He fires a beam of energy from his finger. You swat it aside and step forward.

Frieza trembles with anger and fires several more that you easily deflect as you slowly approach him.

He's underestimating you. And he's going to die for that.

But first, you're going to make him hurt.

However, your attack distracts him long enough for you to make an energy-enhanced charge, and you rush forward, punching him in the face and throwing him back.

He falls to the ground as you hang in the air, and you fire a small barrage of energy blasts at him while he's down.

As the dust clears, you see Frieza back on his feet, frowning. There are scorch marks all over his body, but he looks more angry than injured.

"You're a stubborn one," Frieza declares. "Despite your tails and foul body odor, you Saiyans seem more akin to cockroaches than apes."

He scowls. "Your power is greater than I care to admit, in fact I daresay that other than myself you may be the strongest in the universe. But let me assure you, I hold the lead by a very wide margin. As a matter of fact, were I to unleash my full power, I could grind you to dust in under a minute."

"Hmm, and I hear I thought you were leaving your followers to die for you while you made a hasty retreat to some backwater planet to escape my wrath," he tells you. "But I suppose I gave your intelligence too much credit."
