Your R-22 and your H-Wing successfully dock with the Lion’s Share. You can already see the massive amounts of scrap metal piled up in the cargo hold for now, probably more than enough for quite a few mods and addons. But of course right now, that’s nothing compared to the Inquisitors that want to ask you some questions. “Uh, Misri, Lev-“ The ship shakes a little. Uh oh. Sounds like they docked. “Misri, stay in the cockpit!” You hop out and hurry onto the catwalk, ripping off your helmet and your life support harness.

“Why?” she asks over the comms. “What’s going-“

You rush through the door out of the cargo bay. “Just stay in the cockpit, do not move!” Okay, think think think. The Inquisitors docked with your ship faster than you could make up an excuse to get away from them. Maybe you could just kick them back onto their ship?

That’s optimistic thinking.

Okay, think, think. You hurry over to the escape pod docking hatch. You just need to-

The hatch opens up, and stepping in are the two Sisters. They look over at you as your hand overs the door controls. “… were you just about to lock us out of your ship?” they both ask.

You shrug. “Well, hey, a ship is a man’s home, you can’t just waltz in uninvited.” Smooth. You can’t see any look of contempt or disgust beneath their masks, but you sure can feel it.

“Come with us aboard our ship,” they say. “We only mean to ask you a few questions. Perhaps we may even be able to cooperate on something, as…” They look up and down your body. “… beneath us as you are.”

“Fine, fine, let’s talk.” You cross your arms, smirking a bit. You lean on the doorframe, quirking your brow. “In your quarters.”

They both look at each other, then back at you. “If you are attempting to flirt with us, you are sadly outmatched. Get in our ship.” You roll your eyes, stepping past them. Fine, if they want to play hard to get, you can play hard to get too.

You pull up your communicator. “Misri, tell Kuvasz and Vikker to stay on the ship. I’ll be back soon.”

“What’s going on?” she asks.

“Let’s just say I’m really popular right now,” you say as you look back to the Inquisitors stepping behind you.

You sit inside a dedicated interrogation room. They left you in here to discuss things amongst themselves outside. To their credit, the walls are definitely soundproofed because you can’t hear them. And the only light inside this room was a single swiveling lamp hanging from the ceiling. You caught something sitting in the corner of the room, what looked to be some kind of more dedicated torture bed, the same kind they used on Rebels and unruly cadets back in Flight School. You remember getting drunk with Lotte and a few friends and making a challenge out of who could last longest in that torture bed.

Still, it was doing its job of unnerving you. If you weren’t cooperative at the table, maybe you’ll be cooperative after some persuasion.

Finally, they step into the room, and walk alongside either side of you. You noticed that the Sisters, while almost identical to one another, had one distinction between them. One was left handed, the other was right handed. An interesting thing, so for now you had to get into the habit of calling one Lefty and the other Righto.

Lefty was the first to speak. “Rhys Cykgil.” You lean back, crossing her arms and looking up at her.

You nod. “Well, I’m guessing you’re not going to ask me what my name is.”

“Hmph. You think yourself clever,” says Lefty. Righto responds with, “We have encountered many like you, all eventually show their true colors.”

“Well, I believe in wearing my true colors on my jacket,” you say as you tug on the lapels of your gray jacket. “Speaking of which, are neither of you going to take those masks off? Afraid you’re too ugly? I bet you two are quite cute underneath.”

They look at each other again, then stare back at you. “Vain, Mister Cykgil. Very vain. We simply wish to ask you a few questions. Starting with this: what do you know about the Jedi?”

You shrug. “Not a whole lot. They were a bunch of cheap tricksters and morally uptight monks that worshipped a hokey religion.” They nod, allowing you to continue. “I don’t think I’ve ever met a Jedi personally, and if I did, I’m not sure I remember. We never really had Jedi where I grew up.”

“Yes, Jabiim,” says Righto. “We accessed your records in the Imperial database. An Outer Rim world where Jedi influence was very faint, save for the Clone Wars.” You sigh, making your frustration known. “And what do you know about the Force?”

“It’s their hokey religion,” you say.

“Have you ever attempted to use it?” she asks. You shake your head. Why are they asking this? “Hm.” Lefty looks to her sister. “It appears this criminal scum is being very honest with us, Sister.” Righto nods. “I agree. Perhaps we need to take a more invasive approach however, to see if he is truly lying.” They both raise their hands to you.

... What are they doing?

“Hehe.” You grin, leaning back in your seat. They tilt their heads, confused. “What are you two trying to do?” They raise their hands more aggressively. Suddenly, it feels like there’s a spike drilling into your brain. You grunt, grabbing your head. “Agh!”

“There is something in there he is hiding,” they say. “What is it?”

You open up one eye. Hopefully that worked and it jammed out all important thoughts. They continue to stare at you. But as soon as they see you open your eyes and grin, they drop their hands and simply stare. “Hehehe.” You grin, crossing your arms. “Look, you two might be creepy and annoying but there’s nothing I like more on a woman than a nice black bodysuit. Why do you think I became a TIE Pi-“

A pair of red lightsabers immediately ignite around your neck. They burn right through the backrest of your chair. And right now they were evaporating the sweat off of your skin, ready to cut your head off like a big nasty scissor. “Vain, arrogant, -and- perverted,” says Lefty. “I fail to see the worth that Admiral Reike sees in you. We could pay you in disembodied genitals and you would still do our bidding.”

“Hey, hey.” You wag your finger at them. “What good is that without a good girl to enjoy it with?” Their lightsabers burn closer, nearly cooking your skin. “Alright, alright, alright! I’m sorry, I’m sorry! You-” Closer, closer! Too close! “You can stop, you can stop!” Oh please not like this.

Finally, they slowly withdraw the lightsabers, turning them and clipping them back onto their backs. You pant desperately, your heart pounding heavily from that near death experience. “You are a very interesting man, Rhys Cykgil. You do not fully understand yourself we do not think. But unlike more naïve individuals who would seek to take advantage of you and what you have to offer, we will simply let you be the vile scum you are.” Righto however has this to say, “However, we have use for you yet, Mister Cykgil. If you are willing to hear it.”

You blink, rubbing sweat off your brow. “Do I have a choice?”

“No,” they both say. You shrug, and let them continue. “We believe there is one last Jedi hiding on Tython. While you may be an asset at the disposal of Admiral Reike, we believe you will be better served as a pawn of ours in our machinations. We want you to locate him, and kill him for us. Deliver us his lightsaber and we will pay you handsomely.”

You grin again, leaning forward on the table. “How handsomely?”

“50,000 credits,” they say. “And if you prove yourself, perhaps…” They tilt their heads. “Something more physical may be in order.” If they’re trying to say they’ll have sex with you if you succeed, they’re not doing a good job of it. Still. “Will you do this for us?”

“If I’m paid in advance, sure. I’m asking for half in advance,” you say. They tilt their heads, curiously. “And I need some information on the Jedi you’re looking for.”

“His name is Master Dosann Arroyo, he is a chistori that served with Jedi Master Cin Drallig. He and his padawan were on a mission away from the Temple during the night of the rebellion, Stormtroopers were able to kill his padawan but not him. We haven’t seen him since, but we have new reason to believe he is hiding here on Tython, using the surrounding dark side energies to cloud his presence.”

“I see,” you say. “Yeah, you’re definitely going to need to pay me in advance.”

“If we pay you now, we expect that this is done,” they say. Lefty pulls a holopad out of her belt and starts typing something in. “I will wire you 25,000 now. 25,000 later when you bring us his lightsaber.”

“Do you not need anything else?” you ask. “Like… his head or a hand?”

“Jedi are very arrogant and proud. They will never give up their lightsaber willingly,” says Righty. “Now get this done, and we will reward you with the other half, plus benefits.” Fair enough. Though, the way these girls act, you’re not keen on really pulling them into your quarters for a fun night. You stand up, and wipe down your neck and face of sweat. “And remember, nothing gets past us.”

Sure, sure.

“So we find a Jedi and we get paid?” asks Misri. You nod. You and the crew are gathered in the cockpit, as Lev directs the ship to landing procedures on Tython. You also sent Sparks out to investigate, seeing as how there was heavy cloud cover over Tython as well. “Wow. I’ve never met a real Jedi before!”

Kuvasz grunts, his arms folded. “It’s not as exciting as you think.”

“Regardless,” you say. “We find him, we kill him, bring his lightsaber to them. Hopefully we find out more on the Katana Fleet as well.”

Lev looks back at you. “Sir. Our scanners are detecting massive amounts of interference.” The ship rumbles a little. There’s a storm alright on Tython. Hopefully it dissipates. “We cannot pick out of the noise, we are down to visual and audio contact.”

“Do we have sight on anything important?” you ask.

“Sparks is reporting that he sees the wreckage of an X-Wing, very recent,” Lev reports. “There is no distress signal from it, however he has reason to believe the pilot may have survived the crash.” He goes back to the console, and continues on. “He also reports seeing what appear to be ruins of a city as well.”

A thunderstorm had rolled in over the landing areas. It wasn’t raining, yet, but it was already dark out with thunder brewing. So you had the idea of salvaging what you could from the X-Wing. If you can get it intact, great, if it’s totaled though you were just going to get what’s still functional. Everything else would be left behind. All of you were outside and approaching the downed X-Wing with caution. The only person left inside the ship was Lev, who had the turrets all on stand by and ready to fire if necessary.

But for now, with your flashlights ready, you approached the X-Wing. It had embedded itself into the ground, kicking up a huge trail of dirt behind it. Judging by how far that trail is, this was a controlled crash landing, which tells you that maybe you can salvage some functional nav equipment from it, maybe even the engines too. Sparks stamped behind you in walker mode, ready to blast anything that would dare threaten Misri. You were suspecting lately that he cared more about Misri than for you, and you don’t blame him honestly. R5, R3, and R2 rolled up to the craft, then began their scans. Judging by the empty cockpit and the cracked windows on it, the pilot must have bailed. “Misri, Vikker. Stay here. I’m going to take a look around.” They nod, and they start investigating what they can find out of the X-Wing.

“Need me?” asks Kuvasz.

“If you’re good at tracking, yes.” You want to make sure the pilot is out of the picture. You don’t want him surprising you while you salvage the craft. You look around the muddy grass and plains around you. Then you squint. Hm, those look like tracks. Human boots, pretty recent. “R5, how recently did this craft crash?”

[1/2]
>>
>>45075854
[2/2]

“I’d say today,” he reports. “Probably one of the X-Wings you zapped in the battle.” Hmph, yeah, you definitely want that pilot out of the picture now. You motion Kuvasz to follow you. Judging by how staggered the tracks were, he must be wounded or something. Probably shrapnel to the leg, you know that feeling. You walk up a gentle hill, just far enough from the X-Wing that it becomes almost a scale model in the distance.

“There,” says Kuvasz. He points to a grouping of rocks. That is where you’d hide too. You pull out your DC-17, and Kuvasz his WESTAR pistols. The two of you close in, the tracks getting more shallow as you approach. “Hello?” yells Kuvasz.

You nudge him. “Quiet.” The two of you step into the grouping.

Suddenly, the pilot pounces. She bursts out from behind the corner of a rock and fires.

… The two of you look at her blaster, which appears to have jammed. She hurls it Kuvasz. “Agh!” He falls over, stunned by the sudden toss of her weapon. You’re about to fire, but she suddenly tackles you and throws you down to the ground with her full weight. The two of you tussle and wrestle with one another until finally you roll over onto her back and grab her wrists, shoving them into the ground.

You blink. She blinks back. “Eudora?” you ask.

The female pilot’s jaw drops, and she quickly brushes some stray red hair out of her eyes from beneath her helmet. “Rhys?” she asks back. You nod, she nods back.

> Eudora Kyriako <
> Former TIE Pilot, apparently a Rebel Pilot now?! <

“Well.” She blinks, looking up at you. “Um.” She sighs, tilting her head to the side in defeat. "You can just go ahead and kill me now."

“I’m not exactly sure if I want to.” You sit up, looking down on her. Her orange flight suit has been ripped to shreds, probably by an internal explosion. And you notice some blood running down her leg as well, probably shrapnel too. Yep, she’s hit bad, but for a landing like that you have to be impressed. “I mean, this isn’t the first time I’ve ended up on top of you, Eudora.”

She rolls her eyes. “Almost a decade later and you’re still acting the mynock. Help me up.” You grab her arm and sit her up. She yelps in pain, and her leg writhes as you hop off of her. “Agh! Sunuva…” She looks over at a recovering Kuvasz, who pats his helmet and gets his senses in order. “Who’s the Mando?”

“That’s Kuvasz,” you say. He walks over, silently demanding an explanation. “Kuvasz Skirata, Eudora Kyriako. She was a cadet with me at Flight School, one of the better ones. Not as good as me though.”

“Clearly,” he says, angrily. You can understanding considering Eudora threw a blaster at him. “Next time, if you want to kill me, you’ll have to do better than throwing a blaster at me.”

She rolls her eyes again. “Typical Mandos, always whining about fighting and killing.” You shake your head, then take a look at her leg. There’s some shrapnel embedded in it by the looks of it. “What are you doing here?”

“I should ask the same thing,” you say. “By rights, I really should.”

She sighs. “I defected, yes. The Empire isn’t as nice and shiny as you think it is. People die and suffer under their rule. I defected a month ago.” A month ago? Is that how much time has passed already? “I came here with the rest of my squadron and an ambassador from Chandrilla to see if we could recruit some old Jedi.”

Kuvasz crosses his arms. “Clearly it didn’t work.” Some old Jedi eh? Probably the same Jedi you’re after too.

“We weren’t expecting the Liberator to be in the area,” she says. “And then some freighter shows up and drops off a bunch fighters and suddenly all the cadets start rallying. I got shot down by some idiot…” She looks over at you. “Did you shoot me down you frakking mook?”

You shrug. “Maybe.” She punches you in the shoulder. “Ow! You little-”

“Agh! You always did shoot me down in training!” She shakes her head. “My X-Wing is totaled, you of all people found me! The Empire’s sure to find me too! This is an absolute disaster!”

“Aw, come on, Eudora,” you say. “You put up a good fight regardless.”

“Piss off,” she hisses. “I might as well find him myself.” She tries to stand up, then screams in pain and sits back down. Ah! Sunuva…” She looks at you, grinding her teeth, her helmet visor shading her eyes from you. “What are you looking at!?”

For all of those arguing that this will endear us to the rebels I don't believe it particularly will. However Since our falling out with lotte we're not hated anymore, and doing well with Eudora may make them think we're approachable, especially as their looking for the katana fleet as well. As Schteel has said he knows may alliance personel are former imperials with high kill counts, Eudora case in point (or at least I'm assuming if it was only a month ago she vaped some rebels beforehand). Regardless Rhys really cares about his dwindling fellow cadets. I think he'd help her regardless of possible ulterior motives.
>>
>>45077242
The Rebel bounty was posted ever since Rhys threw in with Lotte the first time, and it's never been lifted. It doesn't help that Lotte posted her own bounty on Rhys.
>>
> “Look. I can take you back to my ship, we can get you rested and healed.”

“Look, I got some medical supplies, we can take you back to my ship and I can rest you and heal you.” She bites her lip a bit, considering it. “But listen, I do work for the Empire, and there are Inquisitors who are watching my actions. I’m not sure if I can actually get you offworld per say but…”

“I’ll take it,” she says.

You nod. “Kuvasz, help her up.” He nods, immediately lifting her up in a princess carry. She yelps in surprise of his strength. “See, this is what you were fighting against. You got lucky on that throw you know.”

“He’s right,” says Kuvasz. “But don’t worry, a friend of Rhys is a friend of mine.”

“Ugh, what did I miss!?” she whines.

“A lot,” you say as you pat her helmet. “By the way, you know there’s a bounty on my head, right?”

“Oh yeah,” she says. “50,000 credits. But…” She narrows her eyes at you, glaring at you. “What, you think healing me on your bed is going to make it disappear?” You shrug. “Typical, always thinking of yourself.”

You smile, patting her again on the helmet. “Come on.” She huffs, crossing her arms and pouting deeply as you carry her back.

R5, being the only droid you actually trust with surgical equipment, is the one to treat her outside of the ship with one of the medical kits. He slowly pulls bits and pieces of shrapnel from her leg. “Agh! You- son of a- Ow!” He pulls out a very large piece. “Are we done!?”

“No,” he says. She groans, biting her knuckles as he reaches in for another piece.

“Are you sure it’s a good idea to keep a rebel pilot around?” asks Vikker. “They already hate us enough, what about the Empire? Think they’ll let this fly?”

“Maybe,” you say. “I just need to keep them distracted as all. Besides, Eudora is more than just some random rebel pilot. She’s a friend, and a fellow pilot. I can’t just leave her here.”

“I hope for your sake you know what you’re doing,” he says.

Misri walks over, rubbing her greased up hands in a rag. “We finished salvaging the X-Wing. It’s completely totaled but I was able to recover the shield generator, the power capacitors, and the proton torpedo launcher too. The engines are completely fried though and I wasn’t able to save the astromech or the nav systems.” She sighs a little, saddened. “Shame, I was really hoping to add to our fighter fleet.”

“It’s fine, we can’t have everything,” you say.

Kuvasz nods. “What do you want to do now?”

Probably not at this point. It never hurts to have options. I think that while Rhys doesn't particularly care for the rebels, or want to see the republic restored (What with his childhood experiences with it) he can understand that people bite back, and that the empire has done some shit. The natural order of things what with the oppression and such. I mean there are always rebels regardless, and the empire has given more cause for there to be such than many governments before it. For Rhys their probably a fact of life rather than a scary development from nowhere. Of course there's sick baby-killing terrorists in the rebellion along with the idealists. Rhys is down to Earth enough to realize that statement applies to the empire as well.

Ask Msiri to quickly rig us up a pipe shotgun. Actually what effect would a disruptor rifle have on a lightsaber? I'm guessing things wouldn't go well for the person wielding the lightsaber. Honestly instead of fighting the jedi It would be hilarious if we simply told him the inqusition knows he's here and will keep sending people even if we fail, and they want his lightsaber as proof that he's dead. And then he's humble or cheeky enough to hand it over hahaha.

>>45077994

Schteel-tan, is getting the Empire involved to get the Darksaber still an option?
>>
>>45078307
It would depend on how you were to go about getting the Empire to get the Darksaber back. It was gifted to Jabba specifically as a peace offering between the Hutt clans and the Empire.
>>
>>45078345
offer the lightsaber of a ded jedi as replacement of course.

the inquisitor twins obviously just care about the death of the jedi only. kill the jedi, take his lightsaber, exchange it for the darksaber.
>>
>>45078393
The Dark Saber. It's a unique item. A lightsaber of a random jedi is not.

Stop being stupid.
>>
>>45078458

Thing is it isn't an exchange between equals though. Both sides won't want the fight but the Hutts stand to lose more if it does go to full on hostilities. Jabba might feel slighted but if its what the Empire wants, its what the Empire gets. He's not likely to start a war over a replacement of the peace offering, from a business point of view.

Then again though, it'll also depend on how bad the conflict was between the Hutts and the Empire.
>>
>>45078589
Empire isn't likely to fuck up peace with the huts to reward a random smuggler. You have no concept of our bargaining power.

With Eudora tucked safely away in the cargo hold, you took the Lion’s Share towards the ruined city. The name of this city is long lost to the sands of time. But You see very little else aside from ruined buildings being reclaimed by the green of plants and nature. To think that this was the ancestral home of the Jedi, and yet they just up and forgot about it. Shameful you have to say. “What do you think?” asks Vikker. “How old?”

“Most likely Ancient Old Republic stuff Vikker,” you say. “Which means if were to salvage anything, it’d long be past the point of usefulness.”

“Fair,” he says.

Now that you think about it, it seemed like the farther into this abandoned city you went, the colder and more unnerved you felt. It wasn’t like fear or surprise by any stretch of the imagination. It just felt off to you for whatever reason. You hope you’ll get off of Tython soon. You spy a landing spot in front of what appears to be a temple, comprised of round buildings, one almost collapsed in on itself. The other still stands, a few rays of sunlight poking through the stormclouds to light it.

Once you land, all of you dismount. Lev stays behind as usual to watch the ship. Kuvasz carries the Cip-Quad on his back, along with his other blasters as well. Misri herself carries the new S-5 Heavy Blaster pistol that Kuvasz gave to her. “So er… these Jedi, are they like-“

“They’re very deadly,” says Kuvasz. “Not only is a lightsaber one of the most powerful weapons in the Galaxy, they also command the Force with skill and intelligence.” Misri bites her lip a little, nervous.

[1/2]
>>
>>45078789
[2/2]

“Don’t scare her, Kuvasz,” you say. “I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. It’s cheap tricks is what the Force is.” All of you step into the temple, Sparks stamping in behind you, ready to support. You feel something in the air, something strange. You’re not sure what it is, but you don’t like it. As you walk further into the temple, you see the carvings and tapestries celebrating the Jedi Order. Across the walls, the mantra of the old Jedi Code is arrayed.

Until finally, you step into what appears to be a grand presentation hall. Above the steps on the stage, illuminated by only a single ray of sunlight poking in through the ceiling, sat a robed person. His legs are crossed, and his hands are placed squarely on his knees. You only see his back, but you’re sure he knows you’re here. “So.” He growls. His voice echoes throughout the entire hall. “Hello there.”

You take a deep breath. He’s just a trickster. Nothing more. “Are you Master Arroyo?”

“Yes,” he says. “Master Dosann Arroyo. Master of Padawan Veni Pallados. General during the Clone Wars. Jedi.”

> Master Dosann Arroyo <
> Jedi Master <

“I assume you’re here to kill me,” he says. He sighs, standing up, and looking back at the lot of you. Beneath the shade of his hood, you can see the familiar lizard snout of the chistori, scarred by blast marks and blade gashes, along with a single blind eye as well. “And to loot this temple of its knowledge, knowledge that is now lost to the Galaxy at large. And with my death, secure the final fate of the Jedi.”

You nod. “You seem awful accepting of this.”

“I accepted my fate years ago,” he says. “So.” He turns around fully, then places his claws on his belt, revealing a lightsaber hilt as long as your arm. “Tell me. Do you genuinely want to kill me?”

or he'll jump.
>>
>>45078804
> “Not really.”
Also would you find it insulting they only are paying us 25 large, fifty technically. to do this?
>>
> “Not really.”

You lower your disruptor rifle, and on seeing that the others lower their weapons too. “Not really. I mean, I hear a lot of stories about you guys. I’m really just here for your lightsaber, I get that back to some guys, they’ll think you’re dead. And I can go back to looking for what I came here for.”

“The Katana Fleet,” he says. You tilt your head. “I sensed it in your mind.” Really? You didn’t feel it like you did with the Inquisitors. “I remember seeing those ships take off for the first time, and I remember the debacle that followed on its disappearance. Well, regardless.” He takes his lightsaber hilt off his belt. All of you flinch, ready to fire. But he quickly tosses it deftly, over to Misri. She juggles the blaster, nearly dropping it before taking the big lightsaber in her arms. “There you go.” He turns around, then goes back to sitting crosslegged and facing the wall.

“Wait,” you say. “You’re just going to give us your lightsaber? I thought you guys were too proud for that, that lightsabers are your life, that you’d rather die than lose it!”

“The lightsaber does not make a Jedi,” he says. “It is the way we live that make us so.” He holds out his hand, gesturing a bit. “By the way. If you are looking for the Katana Fleet, you may be interested as well in the nav computer I recovered. It’s over here.”

Kuvasz and Vikker look over at you. You sigh, stepping forward, up the steps towards him. He continues to sit, right where he is. And you make sure to keep something up on the surface of your mind. Recite every word and letter of the TIE Fighter Pilot’s manual, required memorization for all TIE pilots. Most boring and monotonous thing you ever read. But you look around the stage, to find some spare parts, scrap, holocrons, and yes a small computer that you assume to be the nav logs. “Where did you get this?” you ask.

[1/2]
>>
>>45079339
[2/2]

“From the wreckage of what I assume to have been a Dreadnaught,” he says. “There wasn’t much left.” Hm. Considering the Fleet passed through the Maw cluster, it’s not out of the ordinary that maybe a ship would be damaged by the Maw’s many black holes. Maybe to the point of unrecognizability. “If you have nothing else you need, you may leave in peace.” You’re confused. You never thought a Jedi to be this… passive. You were raised to believe in their arrogance and their moral doggedness and their rigid monk lifestyle. How is this even possible? He looks at you, then grunts. “Still here?”

“No, no, I think we’ll be leaving,” you say. You step down the steps with the nav logs. “Come on.”

“Wait!” You stop, then glare angrily at Misri. “I-… I mean, it’s a Jedi! I’ve never seen one before! Can’t I like ask him a few questions or something or…”

> “Fine. But don’t take long.”

You sigh, then look up at the ceiling, then back down at the nav log. “Fine. But don’t take too long, I want to get out of here before that storm gets worse.” She grins, then immediately runs over to Dosann’s side. You roll your eyes as Kuvasz and Vikker walk up alongside you, along with Sparks and the other droids.

Misri sits down next to him. “Hi.” He looks at her, cocking his head. “My name’s Misri, Misri Beryl.” She offers her hand, smiling nervously at him. “It’s nice to meet you as well.”

“You as well.” He gently shakes her hand with his massive clawed hands. “I must admit, it is not often I meet Miraluka.” She tilts her head, confused. “Miraluka.”

“What are they?” she asks.

“Hm…” Dosann rubs his snout, murmuring a little to himself. “The Miraluka were a fine people. They were blind physically. But in the Force they saw everything. You see, what you see can be deception, but the Force is nothing but truth. You see through the Force, and that means you are sensitive to its powers.”

She nods slowly. “So… if-…” She sighs. “I have a lot questions, I’m sorry. And I can’t keep my friends waiting.” They look back at you, and see you impatiently waiting for Misri. “Do-… do you think you could explain why the Jedi aren’t really around anymore? Why you’re here alone by yourself?”

He frowns deeply, then looks forward at the wall. “Our arrogance blinded us. And for that, we were punished. The Jedi are no more. Some may still try to restore us as we were, most are dead or in hiding, but for me, seeing the Temple on Coruscant burn and seeing my padawan die in my arms… it told me something. It told me that the Jedi could not be sustained as we were. And that we can never return as we were then. That is why I am here, and that is why I will remain here.”

[1/2]
>>
>>45080656
[2/2]

Misri nods. “So. They killed the Jedi because you were obsolete?”

“The Jedi were massacred by a Sith Lord, who grew under our noses and took advantage of our dogma and our self-righteousness. We were punished, plain and simple.”

She nods again, hugging her legs as she hangs on his every word. “So, this Force thing. Is it like…”

“It is an energy that surrounds all living things. It binds us and brings us together in unity. Some are better at using it than others. Like me.” He points to Misri. “And you.”

And after a brief second of contemplation, she says the most horrifying thing you could ever hear. “Do you think you could teach me?” You’re about to go up and drag her out yourself, but he holds up his hand, laughing a little.

“I am sorry. But the time of the Jedi has passed,” he explains. “I will not take another padawan. And I will not be responsible for your death at the hands of the Empire.” You stop, glaring at the two. He looks back at you, then back at Misri. “Misri, I understand your curiosity with the Force and who you are, but this is sadly not the time to express one’s power in the Force. We Jedi are all but extinct, and we will remain that way.”

Misri looks down, intensely disappointed. “I… I see.” She stands up. “Well, thank you, Master Dosann.” He nods. “I hope you’ll still be here if I ever come back.”

“I will remain here to the end of my days, trust in that,” he says.

And with that Misri returns to your side. She looks at you, a bit sadly, then shrugs. “We can go.” You nod, taking her along.

And with that, you left the Jedi.

“Hm.” The sisters examine Master Dosann Arroyo’s lightsaber as you stand in their cargo hold. You had sent for Misri and the others to stay in your ship until they leave. “Interesting. We had honestly thought you would be killed retrieving the lightsaber. But we suppose this makes our task much easier.” They place the lightsaber into a lockbox, then hand it to one of their attending Stormtroopers. “Thank you, Mister Cykgil,” says Righto. “You have exceeded our expectations. The other half of your payment will be wired to your account.”

“Hey, if you ever need anything…” You smirk, tugging on your jacket a little. “I’m always around.”

“Yeah, we do not need anything,” they both say. “Though, we were curious about your crew however, we should like to meet them if you would be so kind.” Dang it, Eudora! And Misri! You’re about to say something but they immediately say to say to you: “This is not a choice.”

You sigh. “Fine.”

> Intelligence: “I’m not sure Admiral Reike would like you continuing to delay my mission for your personal stuff like this.”

“Look,” you say. “You two are pretty nice I admit. But do you really want to waste my time going though my stuff? Admiral Reike won’t like it if he knows you two have been delaying me constantly.” They tilt their heads at each other, then look back at you. “I’m guessing he doesn’t let you two out often considering you two had me slay a Jedi for you. And consider he himself tells me that you two were gifted to him as bodyguards, I’m guessing you’re subordinate to him as well.”

“A lot of guesses,” says Lefty. “Unfortunately, most of those are true. We are indeed reluctantly subordinate to the Admiral.”

“So you won’t mind if I make a call and make a complaint about you two then?” you say.

They stare quietly at you, then sigh. “Fine. We suppose we will not delay your mission any further, Mister Cykgil. But rest assured, if we find out anything amiss after the fact, we will be back. And in greater numbers.” They lead you to the docking hatch, and you step on through. “By the way, Mister Cykgil, that delusional attitude of yours that implies you have some amount of charisma or intelligence? We would appreciate it if you were to drop it. You are not as charming as you think you are.”

[1/2]

You smirk. “Yes I am.” You shut the hatch, and feel their ship detach from yours. You walk over to the cargo bay, then look down at Eudora, toying around with a scrap part in her hands while Misri works on her N-1. “Eudora.”

She looks up. “Yeah?”

“I’m going to drop you off at the next point of civilization we reach. Do you need anything?” you ask.

She shakes her head, looking down. “I’m fine. I just have to say though, thanks for saving me.” She smiles a little. “You’ve got some nerve.” She stands up and looks up at you. “Tell you what. I know a couple of people in the Rebellion. If you want, I could talk to some people if you need something.”

“If you could reduce the bounty or something else, that’d be great. If not well, it’s alright. I’m not going to betray an old Flight School friend like Lotte did to Pil.”

Eudora gasps a little, then she nods. “Alright. Well…” She bites her lip, looking up at you. “Um. Listen, Rhys.” Misri looks over, listening in on the conversation. “I tried to help Pil defect. I was trying to help him get off out of a military base, there was a scuffle. I failed and he got captured.” Oh. You grip the iron bars of the railing, looking down on her. “It wasn’t really Lotte’s fault. It was mine, I just… I’m not a pilot like you, okay? I couldn’t cover him like I should have.”

“It’s fine,” you say. You shake your head. “You’ll get better.” You look at Misri, who quietly goes back to working on the N-1.

And with that, you walk back to the cockpit, to find Kuvasz, Vikker, Lev, and R5 readily awaiting your orders. “Alright,” you say. You sit down in the pilot’s seat. “Next point of civilization we encounter, we’ll drop off Eudora, then get back on the road. Lev, did you find anything useful on the navigation logs?”

He nods. “It is a much more complete map of the Katana Fleet’s travels, sir.” He shows it to you.

“Lev,” you say. He tilts his head. “This thing is covered in hyperspace trails.”

[1/2]
>>
>>45082156
[2/2]

“Sir, if the theory that the Katana Fleet is continually moving, it is no surprise that it is covered in hyperspace trails.” Damn it. You sigh, leaning back in your seat. “Sir, if I may offer you a suggestion. If we retrieve the other nav logs from Alpheridies and from the edge of the galaxy, we may be able to put together a crude tracking device, that will allow us to pinpoint the next destination of the Katana Fleet.”

“I like that idea,” says Vikker. “Seems simple enough.”

“Why can’t we do it with just the one?” you ask.

“There is still corrupted data from age and disuse on this navlog. More copies would clear up the noise, and potentially even allow us to predict the next destination of the Katana Fleet to the thousandth decimal point.” Hm, interesting plan you guess. “We would receive an even greater boon if we were to find an intact and fully functional model of navicomputer used by the Dreadnaughts.”

“That would mean again going back in time,” says Kuvasz. “All the way to the Naboo Crisis. And no ship today uses those old navicomputers. You’d find nonfunctional ones in museums, even the Naboo have upgraded past that.”

Hm.

“Sir, I am ready to take us to our next destination.”

“Take us to the edge of the galaxy this time, Lev.” You stand up out of the chair. “I’ll leave the hyperspace piloting to you.” He nods, and you, Kuvasz, and Vikker leave the cockpit. The ship rumbles as it reenters hyperspace.

“Well, I think we’re getting closer and closer to a real big payday.” Vikker pats your arm, clicking his tusks. “Good work.” You nod to him, and with that, he leaves. Kuvasz however remains.

“For what it’s worth, I am glad you let Misri at least converse with Master Dosann,” he says.

You sigh. “What, more talk about the Force?”

“I know you like to think that the Force isn’t real, but it is,” he says. You roll your eyes, placing your hands on your hips. “I am not sensitive to it like Misri may be, or like others like the Jedi. But from what I know from the Jedi I knew and the Jedi I’ve killed in the past, it is not something that you can just ignore. It is there, and it calls to those it graces.” He crosses his arms, looking down on you. “You’re scared that she might bring you unwanted attention, aren’t you?”

“No,” you say. “I’m scared that she’ll go in over her head believing in nonsense like it. So what if the Force exists? It’s not like it helps anybody. I’ve gotten where I am without some magic powers.”

“Regardless, Misri is an adult like you,” he says. “Try not to police her too hard.” He pats your arm, stepping past you and to his quarters.

You sigh. What are you going to do if Misri tries to practice the Force on you? Wait, are you- Ugh. Now you’re starting to believe in it. Damn it, damn it. “Sir.” You look back to the cockpit, to see Lev standing in the doorway. “We have an incoming transmission from Warmaster Vizsla.”

[1/2]
>>
>>45082952
[2/2]

“Patch it through to my holopad,” you call. He nods. You walk to your quarters, then take out your holopad and set it on your desk. On the holoprojector comes the image of Warmaster Forn Vizsla, sitting on her throne, accompanied by her elite Nite Furies, Erma, Uggla, and Lima. “Warmaster.”

“Rhys.” She smiles happily, crossing her legs and sipping a cup of tea. “It’s good to see you. I haven’t heard from you in a while.”

You shrug. “Oh, well, things have been busy. What about you?”

“I came to chat,” she says. “It is of the upmost importance to me to keep my assets closes as you are well aware.” Of course, of course. “However, I hear you are hunting a very big prize.” … Please don’t say the Katana Fleet, please don’t say the Katana Fleet. “I don’t know what you’re hunting at the moment, but it is of interest to us.”

“Well, I’m not sure I can say right now,” you say. “Considering a lot of other parties are looking for it too. But-“ You look to see Erma whispering in her ear.

“Oh, I’m sorry, Rhys. I have to cut this short.” She stands up. “Apparently we have actually located the Darksaber. We are redirecting back to Tatooine to claim it, by force if necessary. I myself will engage with Jabba the Hutt personally on this matter. Until next time.” Her transmission cuts out.

1. Smuggler's Haven will always be a safe haven for when you want to get easy paying jobs and find other merchants to do business with. You just have to make sure to find people who can look past your Imperial background.

1. None so far.

2. She's still fixing up the N-1 some, but she did recently restore weapons system, and she'll be able to attach the X-Wings proton torpedo launcher to the N-1 as well as the shield generator for it.

3. The H-Wing is too rare for Jennis to find parts for, and Jennis simply doesn't have parts for the Vulture droid at the moment. With some persuasion, you could probably get her to find some for you.

>>45083215
2. The Furies are all trained and disciplined in fighting, so they'll have the edge over common criminals and pirates. But in terms of numbers, Jabba has them. The Furies are only interested in the Darksaber, not taking the palace. And between criminals, the Empire won't intervene unless it absolutely has to.

>>45083228
3. Both, she's adding on the X-Wing's wingtip laser cannons to be attached to the outer engines as new wingtip cannons.

>>

But the problem with the CR-90 was that the engines were so big that it's armament can't fire at the rear because with will hit their own engines. Will that be a problem with the Bartolz?

Also since the N-1 gained the X-Wing shield generators will it gain the same properties of its deflecter shields such as increasing it speed when in use?

>>45083679
And piss off Jabba in the process.

No one pisses off Jabba and gets away with it (at least not before RotJ).
>>
>>45083655
It's a beautiful hunk of junk and you know it. Next to the Hammerhead Corvettes
>>
>>45083741
1. No, the new engines are sidemounted.

2. Yes.
>>
Should we just hold a vote on uturn or not back to desert planet?

I say yes.
>>
>>45083796
Why?

>>45083775
So how is business between Jennis and the Mandos been doing?

Also it's been awhile? didn't we tell them about our merchant friend a few days ago?
>>
>>45083846
1. Jennis so far is trying to make inroutes into offerring them decent scrap and weaponry before going into the big stuff. Trying to save the best for last after all. All the Mandos are really more concerned about her trying to snatch them up in the night to be sold as slaves. Uggla wouldn't mind.

2. In Warmaster Vizsla's mind, it's been a while.

Why are they so cute?

Here is the new pastebin.

Btw how is Misri taking to the new blaster incomparison to the E-11 rifles?
>>
>>45083878
Did you see the new Mando fighters in Rebels?

Will they show up like the Hammerheads?
>>
>>45083906
Warmaster Vizsla's Furies aren't actually all Mandalorians by birth. In order to fill her ranks, she poaches every girl who looks capable she can find, from Imperial Academy cadets, to students interested in Mandalorian history, to just random girls off the street if necessary. I've said this before, but the Furies, at least most of them not including the Nite Furies and Vizsla herself, are actually literally cute girls doing cute things.

>>45083917
The S-5 feels a lot more intuitive than E-11, considering the massive amount of mods and attachments it has in her opinion.

>>45083935
The new Mando fighters are awesome, and I may make them an addition to the Furies' already formidable and increasingly growing fleet.
>>
>>45083943
Did they capture anything since we last met them?

Also why would Rhys in character make a uturn for the Mandos? I mean he knows their formable.

Does the new mando fighters have a name? I can't find one.

1. They've acquired more

2. If the players want it. Though again, Rhys' mind is set on his job first.

3. Kom'rk-class fighters or Gauntlet fighters. They show up a lot in TCW and recently Rebels.
>>
>>45084054
I think he'll focus on his job first unless the Mandos are actually in trouble which right now their not.

Hmmm, that will be quite a story to find out how they managed to get those star fighters.

BTw now that i think about it what did she do with all those droid starfighers the last time we been there?
>>
>>45084120
Warmaster Vizsla saw how the Crusaders were riding them into battle, and decided to start adapting them as well to that purpose.
>>
>>45084120
I think its exactly that rhys jknows their style that he might want to stop full hostilities from occuring
>>
>>45084169
I can kind of understand the gunships but wouldn't the vulture droids with it's high speed kill the riders?

I mean not to mention them trying to ride them into space.
>>
>>45084253
Within reason. They still have the Y-Wings. They'll use the vultures for atmosphere stuff.

Plus, hey, if the Mandos of old could ride Basilisk war droids through a planets atmosphere, doesn't mean the Mandos of new can't either.
>>
>>45084296
but the mandos of old have life support systems built in their suits or well made enough to do so.

Most of the furies are using clone war armor which is less complex or as well made. I think it's a big difference.
>>
>>45084296

Hey.

Hey schteel.

Reengineered Mando Basilisk Vultures.

1. The Furies have a wide variety of armor, mostly salvaged. They can scrounge together armor that can work life support harnesses in too.

>>45084375
2. That's the basic idea.

Anyway, it's late. And I must sleep. Night night.
>>
>>45084422
Night German.

Night boss.
