As for how it came to be, either the blue witch or whoever controls all the robots has had access to an artificial womb at some point, possibly both of them if they were ever working together or whatever. You traveled rather lightly. He brought a standard-issue rocket launcher, and you got some grenades, nothing else. As for food and medicine, you went even lighter. You were giving this a light, semi-stealthy approach.

The first two days of hiking went well. Rodri wasn't much of a chatter aside from explaining battle strategies (which would only work if you had a Titan instinct to work alongside other Titans, much to your annoyance) and different ways of guesstimating a rockets trajectory in the wind and other factors. However, as you approached a more rocky terrain, you both stopped talking, and went to be more discreet.

You noticed some crippled Demons walking around, likely Heartless, given by how hollow and ruined they seemed. You managed to avoid them, regardless.

On the evening of the second day, you could see a slowly rotating Ferris Wheel far ahead. There seemed to be a small theme park over there.

"This is it! This is Hell!" Rodri exclaimed.

"Unlikely." you replied. "It's supposed to be much further ahead."

"Then... This must be a Demon's den of some sort. Look at that! It's huge and moving!"

"Yes. Surprisingly." you admitted.

"We should attack it! They'll never see it coming!"

"We... Should not. This is a stealth mission after all, our weapons are only to defend ourselves in case we need to escape."

Immediately, the giant plunged the remaining rod into the dust, and soon, started to "collect" back the material.

It made a few tools from its hands, and started to work on it. Surprisingly, by only waving a hand over it, the contraption popped open, revealing the complex mechanics it had inside.

"So, you work on... These thing, yes?"

He nodded.

"That's a... uh... Reflux cylinder, yeah? 85-V Condensers you've got there"

He nodded again. Then, he pointed to your food, and gestured to itself.

"You want some?" you wondered. It replied with a nod.

"Uh, sure, take."

Its body warped again, revealing a smooth, red surface it had, that became more and more exposed. Then, you saw it.

It was certainly a Demon Heart. But it had modifications that replaced parts of its surface - modifications that looked very much like the mechanical designs the Red Witch used in her own body. You had studied them.

It was kind that would bind robotic components to organics.
