"Don't worry about the boat." Darui tells the Stone ninja. "We'll take care of it and bring it back to the Land of Hot Springs for you. It's the least we could do."

"Well, thanks!" Akatsuchi replies. "I wasn't a big fan of sailing, anyway."

Darui turns to Choji. "The Raikage has put you down as one of our primary coordinators with the Leaf, so if we do a joint mission, your Hokage should let you be one of the first ones to know about it."

"Alright!" Choji extends his hand to Darui, who shakes it with his own. "Thanks for everything."

"Heh. Sorry, but I'm not really helping you out all that much." Darui chuckles lightly. "You've got your work cut out for you, you know. Karui's as rough as they come."

"I know, but I'll give it everything I've got!" Choji responds. "After all, I'm already falling way behind my teammates on that front."

Shikamaru scoffs at Choji's comment and looks away, while Ino blushes and shoots a glance at Haku, who just gives his usual calm smile in return.

You all say your farewell to the Cloud, and take your leave, headed Southwest to the Fire Country and the Hidden Leaf Village.

If we want the flying jutsu we need to focus on Earth chakra flow techniques, then. Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall

How about we learn a simple Earth Jutsu when we're still shit at Earth Style

There are plenty of things you want to learn, but it's best to start with the basics.

"Let's start with Mud Clones." you suggest. "I'm having trouble manipulating stone, and you said mud may be a bit easier. Once I get this down, we'll see if I can move on to something more difficult."

"Makes sense." Deikida responds. "I do it one handed, so that would probably be too tough for you. Just follow Kurotsuchi's lead, and I'll give you tips where I can."

You start working with Kurotsuchi and Deikida, trying to manipulate mud into clones. For the first evening, you keep forming mud into a rough person shape, but they always fall apart. While you find mud a bit easier to work with than regular earth, it's still quite a challenge.

Over the course of a few days, you practice making mud clones every time you stop. It takes a whole lot of practice, but you eventually manage to form a single Mud Clone into your own shape, making it move as you wish. You probably won;t be able to form more until you're better at using Earth chakra, but you're on your way.

You still have a couple of days until you all reach the Leaf Village.

"So did you want to learn anything else, Kon?" Kurotsuchi asks. "I don't mind teaching you more."

Deikida decides to leave you mostly to Kurotsuchi, and at Kurotsuchi's continued instruction, you spend the rest of your travel working on manipulating Earth chakra. It's tough, but with their help, you start to get a better grasp. By the night before you arrive at the Leaf, you can make several more mud clones at once, and you feel a lot more confident about using Earth jutsu.

After exhausting yourself for the night, you take a seat. Kurotsuchi scoots up next to you.

"You know, I had a whole lot of respect for you Kon, but even moreso now." Kurotsuchi starts. "From what I heard, your father had difficulty with Earth chakra. By a twist of fate, he just didn't inherit the nature he needed for his family's kekkei genkai. I can relate. Growing up, I always hoped I could use the Dust kekkei tota like my grandfather, but I found that I had no skill for Wind Release, no matter how I practiced. I was depressed for a long time, but at least I have Lava. I can't imagine what it must have been like for Katsuo. And here you are overcoming the deficiency your father struggled with for years. I couldn't even try to use Wind like this."

From what I recall, we learned just up to the point where Tsunade's techniques slow down your development in other areas due to so much of your chakra being focused on refining them. Because Tobirama was an asshole. Something like half of the Leaf's internal problems are his fault. Also his constant attempts to steal authorship for other characters' signature jutsu were really annoying, like he refuses to accept that people besides him can create cool techniques. The biggest reason not to want to be Tobirama, though, is that we want to be Hashirama's reincarnation. Then we get the Asura chakra power-up in the final arc instead of being Sakura and only having relevance by donating chakra to characters who are allowed to have agency.

He's also the guy who sabotaged his brother's attempts to stop the Uchiha-Senju feud. He was the one who argued against letting Madara lead, thereby provoking his split from the village. He was the one who after Madara died desecrated his corpse and then buried him in an unmarked grave instead of showing him any respect. He was the one who isolated the Uchiha in their own district since he didn't trust them, and only gave them authority over the police force because he felt he had to make some concession for the sake of public appearances. He was the one who taught Danzo his "hard men making hard choices to get hard" philosophy, and so is indirectly responsible for everything he did. Yes, it's true that he did a lot to help the village. But he shot it in the foot, too.

As for the "keeps trying to steal responsibility for others' jutsu" thing, that was actually a joke. Kishimoto's last-minute attempts to establish Tobirama as someone who was more than just the "water jutsu guy" seemed pretty ridiculous when it came up, so I was mocking that by saying that he only claimed to invent those jutsu to sound cool. I guess my sarcasm didn't come through well in text, that's my fault for not realizing that.

To be honest the Uchiha are pretty much undeserving of all the good things that Hashirama tried to do for them. Tobirama should have destroyed every inch of Madara's being, because look how well that turned out. Alot of what Kon thinks and does is very similar to Tobirama's line of thinking, hence why I think he's the second coming of Tobirama. Danzo was just a power hungry douche. He created the Uchiha police force for many reasons, to keep an eye on them, as a concession and also because he thought it would be a good outlet for their energy's and maybe overcome their edgy douche baggary nature.

The Sixth sighs, and looks to Iruka once more before answering you.

"It does, in fact." the Hokage explains. "With my sharingan, I may be able to enter Taiyaki's subconscious and communicate with the Three Tails. However, it may be dangerous. We don't know if the Three Tails may get upset and try to go on a rampage. I have faith that the seal will hold, but there may be danger to Taiyaki. But if I succeed, we may gain invaluable information. I was weighing the risks with Iruka here."

The Mist sealed it in her and made the seal faulty, so that once she reached the Leaf, the Tailed Beast would escape and rampage. To prevent this, the girl dived in front of an ally's attack to sacrifice herself, and cause the Three Tails to dissipate. This girl's name was Rin, and her teammate was your Sensei, Kakashi. That may help give you just a bit of insight into his mindset. I wanted to learn the truth behind this incident. Who caused it, and why? The answers could be very valuable."

You're frozen for just a moment.

"So what do Taiyaki's parents think?" you ask, turning to Iruka Sensei. "Do they agree to this?"

"Now that we need to make allies with the Mist, it may be more important than ever." Iruka says, sweat beading under his headband. "There are things we just can't learn any other way. I want the best for Taiyaki of course, but he is already a Jinchuuriki as his service to the village. This could be seen as an extension of that. I... I just have to hope nothing goes wrong. Anko hasn't been informed yet, but I think she would agree. Besides, this is Itachi we're talking about. You won't let anything go wrong, will you, Lord Sixth?"

Iruka's fists are shaking. Itachi gets up from his seat and places a hand on Iruka's shoulder. He looks far better than he did at the funeral, but you can tell he still isn't fully recovered.

"You have my word, Iruka." the Hokage assures. "No harm will come to your son as long as I draw breath."

"I've considered your point about Kakashi." Itachi replies. "I will bring up the possibility to him, but I will not make him do anything he's uncomfortable with. As for your point about B, that I did not consider. I don't know if it will be possible, but I'll contact the Raikage later. I don't intend to do the procedure for some time regardless."

The Hokage starts to leave his office, and beckons you and Iruka to follow.

"Now then, enough being serious for now." the Sixth tells you. "You should take some time to relax."

After that, the Hokage goes silent, and just leads you and Iruka. In just a short walk, you end up at a very familiar part of town. You turn the corner and see it.

It's the restaurant. Rebuilt as good as new. The three of you walk inside to find an incredible sight.

Practically everyone you know is here. All your classmates, their teachers, your allies from the Stone and Waterfall, several guests even brought their kids or parents. You have a hard time thinking of anyone you know that isn't here.

"Kon, you're back!" your hear your uncle shout from the back. "Isn't it great? The restaurant is back and better than ever! Lunch today is on the house!"

"Hell yeah!" Kiba cheers. You notice he brought his mom and sister along. "This is the best! We're gonna eat until we can't eat any more!"

Before anything else, your first course of action is obvious. You head over to see your uncle. He's carrying a tray of food in one hand, but as you approach he makes sure to use the other one to wrap it around your shoulder and draw you in, enveloping you in a half-hug.

Well, we did sort of fight together against Pain a few weeks back. Though we had won most of our half of the fight by the time he showed up, so we didn't really get a chance for either of us to show off to the other.

You decide to joke around with them a bit.

You continue talking with your teammates as you eat lunch, eventually getting your fill.

You quickly notice Kakashi Sensei sitting with Guy Sensei and Lee. Tsunade Sensei and Lord Jiraiya are also sitting nearby. The Fifth is in better shape than you last saw him, but he's still got several parts of him completely covered by bandages. You approach the group.

"This just isn't fair Kakashi." you hear Guy complaining. "Practically everyone besides my team has had their shot at Akatsuki, while we've constantly been left in the lurch. How will my students prove themselves like this? Will they continue to suffer with no recognition, passed by by their classmates?"

"I don't think you want to hope your students are put in danger, Guy." Kakashi replies. "You wouldn't want them to end up like Lord Jiraiya here."

"And I got off easy." Jiraiya butts in. "Now no one can keep me from enjoying my retirement."

"I can handle any Akatsuki, Sensei!" Lee boasts. "I'm eager for the chance to prove myself!"

They all seem to be so caught up in conversation that they haven't noticed you yet.

Lee's Taijutsu kicks arse, It would be extremely difficult for him to best the Akatsuki one on one, but with friends backing him up, he's definitely dangerous. Also yes we should see if he has any aptitude with nature chakra.

The narrative treats it as if it's a sacrificial process, but there's no mention of the eyes being merged or anything, just implanted. "A splendid idea." Guy adds. "You can prove just how much you've grown since you were both genin."

"Well, I guess I should be there to make sure you don't kill each other." Tsunade sighs. "I know you two aren't keen on holding back."

"That's just the kind of ninja they are." Kakashi muses. "Always giving one hundred percent. That's not a bad thing."

"Might as well be like that while you're young, right Guy?" Jiraiya asks.

"You know it, Lord Jiraiya!" Guy shouts, giving a thumbs up. "That's what the power of youth is all about. I can't wait to see your match tomorrow."

The day goes on, and you go around talking to everyone you know, having a good time. Eventually it gets late, and everyone heads home, with the out of villagers going to a hotel. It's just you and your uncle in the shop now.

"Well, I took quite a loss today." your uncle says. "But that's okay. Everyone had a great time. Welcome home, Kon."

You're home. You talk a bit longer with your uncle, then head upstairs. You finally spend a night in your very own bed again. It's a good feeling.

Not a serious threat. This version of Naruto has none of the force multipliers that canon Naruto has other than the Shadow Clones. And while fighting lots of Fox-enhanced clones is annoying, it's not a threat on par with the other two. His main threat will be distracting us from things Obito and Madara are doing. Use senjutsu to figure out which one is the real one and snipe it with a Heavenly Lance.

He's a tricky one, given his phasing and teleporting. We're unlikely to be able to lock him down long enough to make him hit his limit. Best bet is to do what they did in canon and have Kakashi Kamui-warp us across to fight him in his parallel dimension. Then we can shoot any part of him that crosses over, making the precision nature of our attacks an advantage as he finds himself slowly crippled.

Now he's a hard one. My best strategy would be to blast him apart and then somehow keep the bits from reconnecting to regenerate, but I'm not sure how to actually do that.

Well, it shouldn't be a problem. Kon's bringing in S-rank bounty money. I think he's technically the primary supporter of the household right now. It's not an income he can maintain, but it's still kind of cool.
