Madas hands you a wooden shield and gives you a friendly pat on the shoulder. "And just for some extra protection, Princess. You'll need it."

You accept the gift with a graceful bow of your head. "I will be all right, Madas. What I need is to prove that I can complete this."

Impa sighs softly, averting her gaze from you. "From the moment you step in that door, you will be in grave danger. You will not have anyone else there to help you..."

You look back at your attendant quietly, long enough that she is forced to look at you. Your eyes filled with determination, you promise to her, "I will make it out of there. I will complete this trial. And I will be back for the answers you have to my questions."

Impa can't help but make a pained yet genuine smile at you. "Stubborn as always, Princess. I still haven't been able to do anything about that, even after all these years."

You give a soft laugh. "You always did say it'll serve me well."

"To a point, Princess." she replies. "...good luck."

With a nod and a wave goodbye, you finally enter the...

[Great Fairy Temple]

A stone door closes behind you as you look around the aged, moss-covered stones, beams of sunlight piercing through holes in the ceiling. Up ahead, there's a larger room with patches of grass growing on the floor, with a door, a pillar to the side with the suspicious sounds of something behind it, an opening left, and... huh, lucky you. Looks like there's a fairy waiting in the middle of the room. And you just so happen to have an empty bottle on you...

Well, that fairy can wait, first thing's first, you slash at the grass to get see if you can get some Rupees, keeping mind of the fairy ahead of you and suspicious sound to the right. Having more on hand never hurts. You draw your blade and slash a few times at the grass ahead of you. Your gardening efforts reward you with... nothing at first, but soon you come across a pair of Blue Rupees. Score!

Your actions seem to attract the attention of the fairy. You hear a voice grumble out, "Figured you'd be here before her, Madas. Could never resist grabbing a few extra Rupees. Look, we have a bit of a situation he-" She stops as she sees you, and then starts to sort of float around in a panic. "Oh. Oh no. Y-you're already... oh no. U-uh... h-hello Princess! And welcome to the G-Great Fairy Temple."

You sheath your blade and approach her, making a conscious effort not to try to bottle her. It might be a bit rude, given what you're supposed to be doing. "You said there's a situation?"

She gives a panicked little jingle, flying closer to you. "W-well... um... oh dear." The fairy sighs. "The Great Fairy is a bit... unavailable at the moment. We've sort of been... split apart?"

Does she(?) mean fragmented into different and uncooperative personalities?

Or perhaps the "Great Fairy" is really a collective of fae, and they've had a falling out?

Or did the Great Fairy engage in a whirlwind romance, and have to break it off because of irreconcilable differences, and is now in an emotional wreck and in no condition to see anyone?

You give the fairy a curious look. "What do you mean 'split apart?'"

The fairy lowers itself in a downtrodden expression. "W-well... we were readily able to present you with the planned trials, but... an evil presence seems to have altered one of the monsters in this temple, and it's making the others more and more aggressive. The monster attacked us, and we locked it away in a room close to the fountain, but... we've been weakened, and scattered through the temple."

"So, you all are part of the Great Fairy." you note, looking over the little pink sprite. "What do you need me to do to help?" you ask, readying yourself.

"W-wait, you? But... oh dear, that's right..." The fairy looks back at the entrance. "Well... if you can gather us all together again, defeat the corrupted creature, we'll be able to return to our old self."

You smile and nod at her. "Fear not, little fairy. I shall help restore you to normal and stop the vile creature that did this to you, you can count on me. But first, how many of you do I need to gather?"

She floats closer and makes a little joyful ring. "Oh thank you, Princess! There are fourteen others in the temple."

Fifteen in total, including her? Ah, that'll be a problem. "And... how exactly should I carry you back? I only have one bottle."

The fairy flies around you for a moment, then spots your lantern. "Well... for the time being, you can hold five of us in that thing, if we really try to fit in there. And your bottle can carry one of us. We do have something that could help you, but-"

A hissing sound catches your attention, hand instinctively drawn to your sword as you recall Impa's lessons. "Lantern it is. Take cover." From behind the pillar, a figure slithers into view. It seems to be a sort of... detached Deku Baba? It's noticed you, and it looks like it wants a fight.

You raise your shield, the fairy bolting into your lantern as the Deku Baba serpent thing lunges at you. It slams face-first into your wooden shield, but the lunge is strong enough to knock you off-balance for a moment. You steady yourself and fire a bolt at it with your crossbow, scoring a direct hit, but it's not quite enough to kill it off.

The monster reels back, slithering away from you but keeping watch. It's not done yet, in spite of the crossbow bolt sticking out of its head. You circle around with it, guard up. The fairy makes a little jingle in your lantern. "Keep your distance! It's not going to be as dangerous if it can't strike at you."

"Got it!" you respond to the fairy, taking aim while the Deku Baba is still some distance away. You focus on it, aiming right for the stem connecting the head from the rest of the body. With a pull of the trigger, your bolt hits true, striking the serpentine plant and finishing it off. Its body blackens for a moment, then vanishes in a darkened puff of mist, leaving behind the two bolts you shot it with.

You quickly run over and grab them. Back to full stock with them, and seems the only foe in the room's been vanquished. The fairy exits your lantern and jingles cheerfully. "Good work, princess. But that wasn't the only one in the temple. There are certainly more monsters lurking."

You stow your crossbow and cup your hands for the fairy, her sitting down on them as the soft pink glow illuminates the small area around her. "I'm more than ready for things like that, do not worry. Is there anything else you can tell me?"

She thinks for a moment. "Let's see... I believe we stored the temple's map in a chest here, in this room. Should be helpful."

Ask the fairy if there's any plan in place for something like this. I mean, if this place holds any significance to the Great Fairy's enemies, they should have some sort of contingency or something aside from "hope everything works out" or "conscript prospectives into solving the problem". Excluding the possibility that all of this is a test, that is.

You nod, and walk towards the unexplored area. Opening the chest...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppy8d8_iEQo

You got the [Temple Map]!

The fairy quickly hovers around it, illuminating parts of it. Two different kinds of dots appear, larger and smaller. "This should be enough to get you through the place without much trouble, and help you find the other fairies."

As you look it over, taking careful note of what's on it, you walk towards the entrance to the next room with the fairy. "So, for reference's sake, if Madas or myself did not come here today, would you have a contingency plan for an incident like this?"

She hovers around you curiously. "Well... yes. But I'm surprised you asked, Princess. In the last few times it's happened, none of the people who've been here have bothered to ask."

You raise an eyebrow as you open the door. "Wait, who else has been here besides myself, Impa, and Madas?"

The fairy goes back into your lantern. "About a month ago, a boy in red, younger than you, came seeking us to learn of magic. He completed our trials and received the Great Fairy's blessing for magic. Though he seemed... somewhat disappointed. We had just recently fended off a particularly nasty Stalfos before his arrival. But it usually takes a week, maybe two depending on the situation we are in to completely clear it."

"I see..." Well, looks like you aren't the only one aware of the troubles brewing. You look around the new room. It's more expansive than the previous one, and you can see one locked door ahead, another to the right, and an open one to the left. There seem to be a couple Deku Scrubs that've taken up residence in the area, and on your map it seems like there's another room north of you, but there's a wall where the entrance is. Finally you notice a faint glow out of the corner of your left eye. Curious...

You follow that glow, keeping a good distance away of the Deku Scrubs. Aha, just like you thought. Another fairy. "Madas, you- ...oh. Princess. You're here already."

"I am, and I know the situation." You hold up the lantern and let the first one greet her. "Can you two tell me anything about this room?"

They float around your head slowly. "It used to be the main center for those wishing to ask the Great Fairy for advice, ten years ago. With the war, things got... quieter."

You frown as memories surface. A shudder goes through your body before you respond. "I can imagine."

The two enter your lantern as you turn to face the Deku Scrubs, shield up. The two take notice of you, leaves ruffling as they pop up.

You keep your shield up, steady. The Deku Scrubs seem to wait for you to make a move first. You slowly approach them, readying yourself, crossbow out. You pull your shield down! ...and get smacked in the face. Twice. You fall back slightly, then work through the pain and return fire at the now-laughing Deku Scrubs. They aren't laughing for long, as your two shots hit true, taking them both out.

The monsters disappear in dark puffs, leaving behind a pair of green Rupees. The fairies exit your lantern in a panic. "Princess, are you okay?"

Putting away your shield, you grumble out a "I'm fine." and grab the Rupees. You rub your face as the pain returns. Ow. Oww. That was smarts... You head into the right room, coming across a branching path. Three ways ahead, north on the map, south on the map, and continuing on to the west.

The two fairies exit the lantern, circling around you. "Are you sure you are all right, Princess?"

"I've been through worse." you respond, doing a little stretch. You look around for some grass to slash at and manage to recover your health while also scoring 7 more Rupees. With that out of the way, check up on your items again. You're down two crossbow bolts, and your bottle is still empty. You take a glance at your packed harp, smiling as you recall Impa teaching you how to play your old lullaby on it. She always did say it'd come in handy for whenever you were feeling lost.

You head towards the western door, under the mark of Farore. As you enter the room, you're first greeted by how surprisingly... green it all is. Even the walls are painted green. What's more, there are murals on them. As you walk through the area, you hear two more jingling sounds, seems the next pair of fairies are here somewhere. At the furthest west point, there's another door. The moment you're in the middle of the room, bars jet up from the ground, blocking it... and blocking the door you came in through as well.

"Oh no." one of the fairies with you gulps. "They... didn't deactivate it."

Oh that can't be good... "Deactivate what?" you ask.

You get your answer as rumbles echo through the room. You spot sections of the floor shift towards the ceiling, slamming into it. The fairies float around you. "The test."

Of course. "Well... what do we do about this?"

"You have to find the right switch to deactivate the traps. It's supposed to be a test of courage." one responds. "We... we're very sorry, Princess. Uh... I believe the switch is under a picture of the Goddess... or was it her symbol?"

"You don't remember?!" the other fairy shouts.

"W-well do you?!" the first one retorts. The two argue back and forth a bit before realizing that neither recalls exactly where the switch is.

You take a deep breath, and then look around the area. Okay Zelda, think this over... Upon hearing the jingle of the fairies once again, panicking this time, you call out to them and tell them you know of the situation. "I can help you, but only I request that we work together on this. We will get out of here, I promise, but can either of you recall where the switch to deactivate this is?"

It takes a moment, but they finally call back to you, "There is a symbol of Farore with one of the Heroes of Legend beneath her, that switch should be the one."

"Wait, perhaps it wasn't a Hero, it was... ah, oh if only we could remember more!" the other one shouts out.

Okay, piece this together... You look at the four sectioned off areas of the room, and spot the Goddess at the end of each of them. Four heroes... wait, one is different from the others. The image has... a different figure. Someone who looks your age, contrasting with a younger boy, a teenager boy, and a young man. More... slender? You take the chance and dash as fast as you can, timing your run with the moving block. "HrraaaaaaaaAAAAAAHH!" you shout, and then bolt out of the way of the block, rolling as you clear it and then stamping down hard on the switch.

https://youtu.be/ZpwZ9DP_gsg

The trap deactivates, the doors open, the two other fairies flying towards you and joining the two you already have. "Most impressive, Princess! Good work."

You dust off your poncho, and finally get a good look at the figure, and... huh. That's different.

You look over the mural again. No mistaking it. That Hero in Green is a girl. "Huh. Would you all mind if we stop for a bit and look this over? I'm curious about this."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TOZwZIgPtI

The four of them float towards the picture, illuminating it better. "Ah, this was the previous incarnation of the Hero." One of the fairies makes a gasping sound, causing the one speaking to give a more melancholy addition to its speech. "W-well, from over a century ago. Not... the most recent one."

"Ah." you mumble. Memories surface of that image. The boy in green standing to defend you, a much younger you, and Impa. You flee with her as the boy makes his stand. You shake your head. Enough of that, for now. "What was she like?"

"Each incarnation of the Hero possesses a similar spirit, but she was... one of the more adventurous. Saved Hyrule from a great and terrible monster, and then went off on her own for years to help out neighboring Labrynna and Holodrum, returning to Hyrule when two witches attempted to resurrect the Monster of Power she previously vanquished." the fairy tells you as you walk along the mural.

You next spot the youngest hero, now noticing four others with him. "And him? Er, them?"

"Heehee, I can understand the confusion. This Hero vanquished the terrible wizard Vaati with the mighty Four Sword." a second fairy answers.

"'Four Sword?'" you repeat.

"It has long been sealed away, even we do not know where it's ended up." the fairy answers.

"What about this teenage boy?" you ask, noticing him standing next to an impish creature and a wolf.

The fairy illuminates more of the picture. "The Hero of Twilight, and with him is his cursed form and the cursed form of the Twilight Princess. Saved Hyrule from the usurper Zant."

Okay, the last one. The young man. You notice with him he seems to have a scar across his eye, and a Keaton mask in one hand. "He seems older than the rest."

The fairy illuminates an ocarina in his hand as well. "The Hero of Time was a mighty warrior, coming far from his humble origins among the... Kikori, was it?"

"Kokiri." a fairy corrects. The two then start to argue over the pronunciation of the name. You yourself recall Impa telling you of the Kokiri, strange that the boy was raised by the "eternal children of the forest."

Kinda makes you wonder about the cyclic nature of legends in a lot of stories. Is it merely just people forgetting about things and coincidentally repeating stuff from the past, or is there some sort of greater force that intentionally makes it so that time is some sort of wheel that spins 'round to the same themes over and over again?

You think on that for a bit. So many incarnations of the same Hero in Green, is it really destiny driving this theme forth? Some kind of cycle in place? Or are things forgotten down the line and one comes up out of necessity. Thinking about your own Hero... you shake your head. Not the time. "Well, let's see what's behind this door, then."

You enter the room and spot a chest. Aha! Let's open it up and see...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VRr9NG7RE0

You got the [Fairy Rod]!

The four fairies around you let out little rings of joy. "Oh perfect, perfect! You'll be able to solve this situation easily now!"

"How so?" you ask, giving a wave of this new staff. To your surprise, the fairies seem drawn to it... and while near, glow brighter around it.

"We created this item, it is imbued with our magic-" your eyes widen slightly as you head that word again, smiling ever so subtly more, "as a way to help those who enter overcome certain trials. But with us around... well, Princess, direct the wand at one of those walls."

You do as asked, and all of a sudden one of the fairies bolts at it, a cracking sound in the air following it as the fairy slams into the wall and, to your surprise, causes a small explosion. With the fairy herself undamaged from the effect. "It allows us to do THAT!" the fairy cheerfully explains.

Oh this is going to be FUN.

You leave the room and head back into the previous one. Two places to go through next...

You head north, to the door with Nayru's symbol over it. As you open the door, you first notice a section of it in the middle covered in more murals, this one different from the last. It seems more dedicated to the history of Hyrule, going back even farther than you have any knowledge of. Before you take another step in, the fairies stop you.

"Princess, wait! We have an idea. You can use the Fairy Rod to direct us around the room, we'll try to disable any traps that might've been set up." one of them rings.

"You can do that? Er, I can do that?" you ask.

The four circle around the item in your hands. "Ah, s-sorry! Guess there's still more to explain for it... um... wait, how does she do that, again?"

"Well she... hmm..."

And they have no absolutely clue. You cross your arms, slightly annoyed. "Are your memories really that badly fragmented?"

The fairies float in front of you. "Wha, no! No, we're... we're..." They all look at each other. "...it seems you're right."

You put the Fairy Rod away. "I'd rather not risk hurting one of you, even if that initial attempt went over well. Besides, I was supposed to complete these trials myself. I might as well give it an attempt."

The four fairies look at you curiously, then decide on just letting you proceed, moving back to your lantern. As you move forward, literally walking through history on the walls beside you, noticing the past "Princess Zeldas" one after the other, you seem to make it through without incident. Upon getting to the other side of the room, though, you come across a strange puzzle on the floor. Or rather, puzzle made OF the floor. A picture of the Triforce, with the symbols of the Goddesses around it.

You take a moment to look it over, and then notice that you can rotate pieces of it. An inscription above simply states "TEMPLE MATCH." Hrm... you take a look at your map again, and then try to rotate the symbols to match the symbols with the position of the rooms. Easy enough... but there's one more thing you apparently have to solve before the door opens.

"The Flow of Law. The Wind of Life. The Flame of Change. But through them, there is more, to guard the Gift. What Guardian can this be?"

You smile. You might not know exactly who this is, but it's pretty clear one of these fit best.

[Timeless Watcher]

The door opens, along with four others, by the sound of things. Two fairies come bolting at you. "Madas, thank- ...wait, Princess? You're already here?"

You feel like you're going to keep getting that. The four other fairies fly out of your lantern as you smile at the two approaching. "I know the situation. I'm here to complete my trials and help you all fix this."

The fairies are surprised, but appreciative. "Ah, and you've already found the Fairy Rod? We... may have underestimated you, Princess."

...really don't want to take that like they're talking down to you. But you almost do. You open the door ahead, a chest inside...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=4&v=Ppy8d8_iEQo

You got a [Key]!

Quickly stuffing that in your bag, you turn to the fairies. "Now, I know it might be difficult, still, but do any of you recall any more on this Fairy Rod?"

"Of course!" one of the new fairies responds excitedly. "It can hold ten of us together, and direct us to search around the area, becoming your eyes and ears for a time, but only for a certain distance. You have to hold both hands on it tight, and then look through its wings at one of us."

"All right, I'm going to test this out, then. Hopefully certain someones will believe me when I say that I can handle things like this." you comment, looking over the fairies. One shyly moves in front of the rod, apparently getting your point. You grip it tight, then stare through the wings. It takes a moment, but suddenly... you feel like you're the fairy itself, flying around, acting as it acts. Not quite in control, but more... cooperating with it. You turn around, seeing yourself with the fixed gaze upon the rod.

You then move out and investigate just how far you can go with this, popping out of a hole in the ceiling. Your concentration starts to fade the higher you go, but you stay connected, and then head back down. Returning, the other fairies make a little dance, you dancing with them... and then bumping yourself, your actual self, in the head as the fairy. The concentration breaks as you rub the side of your head. Well... at least it didn't hurt.

"I'd say that counts as a success." the fairy you were controlling comments cheerfully. "...though I can't say I understand your preferences in food. Oktorok? Eww."

You blush a little. "Hey, Impa can make a good Oktorok stew." ...Wait a second, what? "So... it's a two-way thing? You can see my thoughts?"

"Can't not see them when they're that loud and present." the fairy responds. "You're already hungry?"

You walk off, ignoring her question and the quiet growl in your stomach. One room to go. As you enter the final room, it's more of a zig-zagging series of connected corridors. Two more fairies are present here, but they're not the only ones. Something else is with you.

You stop yourself, and then concentrate with the Fairy Rod again. Your sight becomes one with one of the fairies, and you move down the halls, noticing that the room is slightly inclined at the back, first scouting around to find the fairies, which you and the fairy with you accomplish and manage to explain things over, and then looking for this threat. Turns out to be a pair of threats, two Deku Babas hanging from the ceiling near the middle corridors. You quickly move out of the way as the fairy, but your concentration's quickly broken as you yourself hear a hiss from above.

You dash out of the way in time to avoid one above you from snapping at you, but it seems to activate the trial of this room. A loud thud catches the attention of you and the fairies from something up ahead and... wait. Is that a boulder?! It seems to be slowly making its way down, slamming into wall after wall.

"Oh no oh no oh no!" one of the new fairies says in a panic. "If we can't stop that, it'll roll right over us!"

You call the fairies towards the rod, and then as best as you can dash out of the way of the first Deku Baba, it barely missing you as you roll under it. You then hear the creatures shriek as the boulder slams into them, one after the other, down the path. The final Deku Baba turns and hisses at the boulder as it comes down. As fast as you can, you bring up the Fairy Rod and direct two of them at the oversized rock, destroying it in a brilliant display.

Your heart is racing as you pull it off, then take a minute to catch your breath, dusting off your poncho. The fairies are all exceptionally impressed, you head into the room in the back for the final [Key].

As you enter it, though, you see murals on the walls again. One of a man with darkened skin, dressed in what you recognize as Gerudo clothes. Next is of a large... pig beast. Just like in your vision yesterday. It sends a chill down your spine as two of the fairies illuminate it. "Ganon..." they sigh out.

"Wait, that's... Ganon?" you ask, looking between the figures. You recall the legends of the monster Ganon from ages past, but... wow. There seem to be more around him, on both sides. Not as many as the Hero in Green, but they're there.

The fairies float around sadly towards the humanoid figure. "Desert King, he's been called. He was... a man once. A person by the name of Ganondorf, ruler of the Gerudo. But his heart was twisted by a cursed Power. He, like the Hero in Green, has returned a couple of times, reborn again and again. As the Demon King Ganon. What a horrible existence, born destined to be a monster..."

The fairies illuminate an area around his hand, and you can barely believe it. That's... the Triforce. "...what else do you know about him?"

The fairies go quiet for a moment. "Princess... has Impa ever told you directly about why the coup started? Why your father became corrupted by Power?"

"...no." And you can figure a few reasons why. But it seems they're about to tell you something more. "Did... did he do something with Ganon? Make some sort of power play?"

"You could say that..." one fairy comments. "You... will not like what you hear, Princess."

You've come this far. "Tell me anyway."

The fairies gather around you. "...when rumor surfaced of the new male Gerudo born among their tribe, the King took a... drastic measure to try and prevent the 'return' of Ganon. He arrived in the Gerudo encampment, with apparent desire to welcome the newborn Gerudo King. Offer an diplomatic gesture. His true intentions... were assassination of the child. Oh, he made it look like an accident to everyone around. He even made it look like he would try to save the child. He held the dying boy in his arms, and before the child passed... the mark of Power appeared on his tiny hand. It seared the flesh of the King's palm. He was cursed for his actions as the child died. Cursed by Power. Cursed to desire it. Cursed to abuse it. Cursed to be destroyed by it."

The fairies move back to the monstrous figure. "...and upon his death, the boy would be reborn as a phantom of hatred. Ready to send Hyrule into chaos, inflict revenge upon the Kingdom that wronged him. He did just that as the civil war began... but for some reason unknown to us, he disappeared almost as rapidly as he arrived, back into the desert sands."

You sit down, head in your hands. This... you can barely take all this in. This...

>A. ...I'm sorry
>B. Who... who else knows the truth?
>C. Dream... my dream... return, the mask...
>D. Something else?

You almost choke out the next, obvious question. "Who... who else knows the Truth?"

One floats closer to your face. "Us and the other Great Fairies, the Sages, your attendant, and we think the previous Hero knew as well."

Of course Impa knows... wait. "D-dream... dream, I had a dream yesterday, it was that figure," you point at the wall, standing up in a jolt, "he... he said... 'return,' but then something happened to him, he turned into this... this mask... a man... laughing..." Your legs tremble slightly and you have to sit yourself back down. You take a moment to just... breathe, and really process this.

The fairies float towards you. "Mask?" You nod at her question. "What's this about a mask?" The seven others talk amongst themselves, trying to figure it out. "...perhaps it's tied to Ganon's original disappearance after all. Someone might... might have stopped him, or maybe sealed him away?"

You force yourself to stand again. "I... I don't know... but it was vivid, he... he will return. Now I'm sure of it."

The fairies gather around. "...do you intend to continue with us, Princess? What is your goal, here?"

>A. ...Of course I do! Even knowing this, I'm going fulfill my duties and save Hyrule from further chaos!
>B. I'm going to finish this, and then have a long talk with Impa...
>C. I... I don't know, maybe I shouldn't...

Coming to grips with the fact that your dad is a child murderer, even if it was ostensibly for the sake of the kingdom, is a bit much to swallow at first.

Getting real tired of your shit, Grand Fairy!

First you manage to get split into lots of tiny fragments that are less than helpful.

Then you imply that Zelda may not have ulterior motives to attaining magical powers, just because you revealed some really shocking news about her father's mistakes in the past?

You're a real piece of work, Grand Fairy.

So dad's responsible for all of this. Even more reason for us to fix it. Let's un-fuck this situation as best we can.
>>
>>45528219
I think it's less "do you have bad intentions" and more "we just told a 16 year old girl that her baby-killing dad ruined everything, maybe we shouldn't force any more on her."
>>
>>45528148
>A. ...Of course I do! Even knowing this, I'm going fulfill my duties and save Hyrule from further chaos!

"If my father caused this, then of COURSE I'm going to see this through to the end. I don't see anyone ELSE stepping up to save the world."

You take a determined stance. "I... of course I do! Even knowing this, I'm going fulfill my duties and save Hyrule from further chaos! If my father caused this, then of COURSE I'm going to see this through to the end, and make up for his mistakes. With... with him, the Hero in Green... gone, who else is going to step up and save the world?" You grip your poncho with your left hand, this... odd, warm sensation pulsing through it. "Believe me. Please. I know this is a lot to take in... I-I still haven't really processed it all yet, but I've gotten enough down to know what I need to do. What I choose to do. And that's to help Hyrule."

The fairies all exchange looks with one another. "...indeed you shall, Princess Zelda. We did not mean to doubt you on this. If anything... we're glad you've shown such resolve. This responsibility is something few would willingly take upon themselves. Thank you."

You take up the Fairy Rod and dust off your poncho. "Then let's get going! I'm going to restore you all to normal, and then we're going to start figuring out a way to save Hyrule!"

Why do you post that picture so much? You really suck all the meaning out of it, especially when you use it as a response to "Did you have fun?" Quit running that thing into the ground further.

I'm planning on Sunday, hopefully starting in the morning, possibly in the afternoon, with the goal being to get the dungeon done with and y'all on the way to the next destination of your choosing.

Incidentally, tell me if y'all have a preference on something:

Red, blue, green, or purple?

>>45529071
Ah, woops, didn't link properly. Still, thanks.

Green. Whatever it is, it could inspire the people to associate something with a new Hero. Even if it has to be a Heroine.

>>45529194
Red, got to be able to handle heat.

Not quite. Wallet upgrades will be something a bit different. One can actually be bought. One... well, how does the sound of Biggoron Wallet sound?

>>45529624
Do note you have a pink tunic and blue dress as well.

It's not your Princess Dress, though. That disappeared when you fled the Castle. But rumor has it someone in Castle Town found it. And is wearing it.
>>
>>45529858
I didn't say looking like Hermione Granger was a bad thing!

Speaking of extravagantly dressed people in Castle Town, is bug girl in this quest?

Does anyone else think we've been making choices more in like the triforce of courage than that of wisdom?
