The clouds have come and the dry'ness of fall swells to welcome winter; this has a few implications:
-It is cold, dark, cloudy and rains constantly on and off.
-The stair case leading to the upper levels is slippery and treacherous from run-off from higher levels draining into your area and flooding the small "river" on your level.
-The heavily wooded FLOOR B1 has become completely littered with nuts & small orange fruits as well as budding mushrooms- all of which have attracted animals fattening themselves up for the rest of the next year.

+Spiritual Development+ Faustian Influence
-Surprisingly true to his word: The Treasure imp has slowly but surely been teaching what little he knows of arcane magics and methodology to The Technician asking nothing in return but food, drink, the occasional spot of pocket change and regular sexual contact with the Technician. The Technician does not see an issue, but the Homonculi can't help but feel there's something more going on.

+Current Development+ The Prodigal siblings return.
-The Pilgrim and Lilac (The Soldier unit) have returned. They've brought with them a bounty of strange artifacts, exotic goods and treasures- They even managed to kill the TROLL that had been living a level below you on the way up. Bringing the massive pickled head in a water-tight skin bag of brine as tribute. The Pilgrim currently resides within his vat- resting long and deep as he waits for the attention of his brother The Technician. Lilac reunites with her Sisters- a grown Woman.

The Technician graciously accepts the Troll head from The Pilgrim before he goes into the Vat for a long, well-earned rest and... The Bag weighs an absolute ton- The Technician can't carry it themselves and need the assistance of The Amazon unit who is happy to help. They carefully unseal the bag and inspect the head; it's tusks have been shaved and cut off so it would fit inside it's container, but The Technician has a hard time telling otherwise if it's in good condition or if Trolls are supposed to look like that? Bumps, Warts, Furrowed Brow, Gnarled Teeth- there's an unhealthy almost cancerous look to it.

The Technician doesn't have time to study it though as, as soon as it starts to dry off from it's vinegar brine bath it begins to shuffle and "wake up" shaking and rustling- They instruct the Amazon to lift with her legs and she throws it into the vat.

Lilith slowly rises up when the severed head hits the Mana, "Hmn, what exactly is.. Oh- Oh! Oh! It's a Troll head! You got me a piece of a Troll??" The Mana bubbles quite violently- The Troll head isn't dissolving- Lilith coils around it, "Ah, just, Sorry Master- Hold on, let me just.. I need to change the.." The Mana begins to practically boil before the Troll head stops growing from the neck down and Lilith is able to break it apart.

The Technician has had their Imp Familiar for a few weeks now: He eats, he sleeps, he occasionally teaches The Technician a few magical tricks- but more often than not he demands to be sodomized and constantly makes request of pocket change.

He does a bit of a turn, feeling himself over and making sure his genitals have received the same treatment before he becomes aware of his tiny wings, longer tail, "Heh..hHEHheHEAAA- " Lilith throws him out.

Lilith slithers up a massive claw and chucks him out of the Vat. He immedietly shrivels up back into the crotch heating, lap-sized treasure imp he originally was, "Aw, now, come awn- you fuckin' cunt; it was just gettin' good, did you see my feckin' pecs? Roight worthy of a Tit job, eh?"

A week or so passes and the Pilgrim 'eventually' saunters out of his Vat completely refreshed and satisfied; stretching himself out before making his way to the kitchen and dinning hall, all the while accompanied by a small crowd of Homonculi -some who've never even met him-

The Pilgrim sits down with The Technician and they eat together while swapping stories- The Technician updates them on what's been going on at home and The Pilgrim in turn relaying his stories and adventures within The lower levels of the Tower.

"It just seems to go on forever." He says in between a mouthful of mana bread, washing it down with goat milk, "It just goes on and on- I think me and Sister Lilac made it to- " She interrupts, reaching over to dab the Pilgrim's face off of crumbs with a napkin, "We made it to what we assume was the 50th floor, but by that point it had been half a year and we thought it best to return home. It takes a few weeks just to traverse the Canyon starting on B2." The Pilgrim nods, "And it was made worse by all the Undead, the walking dead bodies- The floors below us just seem to be littered with them and constantly the numbers were growing. It got to a point where traveling at night was suicidal."

Eventually The Technician's imp innocently scampers into the hall and sits on their Master's lap.
The Pilgrim points to it, "Okay, now, what is that THING."
The Imp points back, "Oy, well Fuck ou too, MATE. Oi've bean livin' 'ea fo' like 3 months- who da fuck a' 'ouu? "
The Two Enter a shouting match that lasts about 20 minutes.

Not immediately intimidated or bothered by Lilith's issues for the moment: The Technician has work to do, this communities genetics need to be upgraded, modified, stream-lined, the Troll regeneration gene needs to be made safe for assimilation.

now that we can/do have a purpose in life- its time to take action--
we know that things have souls, and that technically souls can be transferred or..reignited (for example lilith)

This can't go ignored any longer; Lilith has grown distant and it's starting to effect The Technician's administrative abilities and effective'ness of their support over the Community.

They decide to slide down through the vats and into Lilith's Chamber; they're welcome to a ceaseless, empty, featureless room of white.
They sit down and wait patiently for Lilith to come to them.

They stay like that for a while, eventually growing tired before laying down- they turn the side of their head and Lilith's face greets them, seemingly dipping just slightly- peeking out from the floor as if it were a pool of water. "Hello, my Master."

"Hello Lilith" She stays underneath, fused into the flesh of the room. There's a gentle beat, but there doesn't seem to be any sort of anxious air to the atmosphere- It almost feels tired, the room feels like it's sighing. The Technician rolls over onto their side and plants a very small kiss on Lilith's forehead, "I've been ignoring you. -I'm"

"Every morning I spend some time, just sorting through everyone's memories while I upgrade their genes, fix things, re-wire and fine tune your inner workings. " The Technician rolls back on to their back, Lilith continues, "Baba Koschei has started talking to you?"
"What do you want, Lilith."

Lilith eventually just concedes: crawls out from the floor and lays beside the Technician as they both stare at the ceiling.
"You were going to be my mate; The Typhon to my Echidna and together we would produce a massive, flawless and beautiful brood of daughters and sons and we would kill Baba Loschei, took the tower and who knows what beyond while constantly expanding, multiplying.. until there was nothing left or we died." She sighs, the room creeks and she rests her clawed hand on The Technician's palm.

"In retrospect I'm probably not the best equipped to lead."

We've officially entered into a uniquely "end-game" point/plot development/branch(thingy) into this Civ quest and it is Lilith.
We've never done this before.

This is a very firm, meta, disclaimer: Lilith is as Chaotic Evil as I am capable of writing a character: She is flawed, selfish and wants to multiple. She is not Human. The Technician stops. They're overwhelmed with a sense of empathetic, conflicting, unforgivable disgust in their actions. They pull their hands out of Lilith's head, wrap them around her, pull in her and never let go.
Lilith throws her arms around The Technician and the two of them cradle one another sobbing; confused and frustrated.

The Technician rocks Lilith back and forth, "I'm sorry- I have no idea what I'm doing, I never know what I'm doing. I'm just listening to voices in my head. I don't know anything about anything- I'm- You have such high expectations, I just thought I'd make everything better. I don't want to be another Master. "
Lilith squeezes them in return tightly and rocks forth and back with them, "No, no, I'm sorry- I pressured you into, I was too forward, we're equals, it was wrong of me. I should have considered your needs- I'm just as stupid, I'm impulsive, I'm needy."

This goes on for a bit, before it.. it.. just begins to devolve; bringing their faces up closer to one another, wrapping their legs around one another, Lilith saying irresponsible instigating things such as, "I.. I was so frightened, but.. but that was so FORCEful of y-you.. I didn't think it would have come to that, but you had me.. You were really going to do it.."

Lilith makes amends the only way she knows how; in the form of horrible, disgusting, explicitly graphic, horrendous and horrifying homonculi sex- the kind that which could only be created and pontificated by a flesh craving, bored, artificial creation who has just had a near death experience. It is.. it is offensive.
The act itself is so emotionally fueled, so horrendously visceral and graphic that if I were to even allude to it with slightly more detail I would most assuredly be banned for 5 days.
So horrifically outlandish, creative and sexually frustratingly motivated- The Technician cannot get an erection for 5 whole days and every square inch of Lilith's flesh is somehow sore.

She may control this cloud and allow it to rain blood- if the blood is allowed to pool it can make Blood Women which Lilith may control like dolls or leave on auto-pilot. The Blood can dissolve and break down dead flesh or material, but it has no effect on plants or the living; if anything plants actually seem to grow faster and healthier after a good blood rain.

As to the assimilation issue, our current means of gathering new genetic material seems similar to digestion. We'd have to figure out how to extract DNA from specific things like white blood cells or bone marrow.
It's worth considering though, it would be nice to not require the sacrifice of other living things just to further our own ends.
