First off AESR mechs don't have two pilots.

HYDRA domes don't stack with each other, same for shroud generators. The commando skill concealment does stack with it though.

In terms of fluff it projects an energy field that destabilizes molecular bonds causing the target to disintegrate. The energy released causes a cascading effect that can "jump" to nearby targets and damage them as well. Fortunately the power of this effect diminishes with every jump and eventually ends.

Mechanically speaking it's a short range weapon that deals lots of damage, ignores armour and has a chain lightening effect.

I know pic related is actually a melee weapon but that's kinda how I imagined the particle ripper to look before firing.

Peacekeeper is a catch all term for the military forces under the direct command of the IF Security Council.

They are kinda like the Foreign Legion in that anyone can join, but must go through a rigorous screening, indoctrination and selection process.

Peacekeeper troops are among the most highly motivated and well trained on the planet. They are rivaled only by the Rovillian Collective (A quasi Spartan warrior nation.)

Their military includes ground air and sea forces. It is very well equipped and in terms of size is about as big as that of a Minor Nation.

Day to day activities involve enforcing sanctions, busting terrorist organisations, performing armed interventions, guarding the IF special administrative regions and in extreme cases toppling regimes that have proven too belligerent and oppressive to be allowed to stand.

Outside the Peacekeepers the Security Council may empower another nation to act on it's behalf for what ever reason. (Such as the joint task force invading the desert now.) So no it doesn't really have any standing forces under its direct command besides the Peacekeepers.

They have armor, Pilot. They're tanks. It's what they do. It was in the mission briefing.

Thankfully with your bombardment we can open fire.

To fray some of their reactive plating, open fire with some low impact multi shot weaponry. Recon drones or sentry guns. If we time our shots we can take trigger the reactive material against smaller munitions then clean up with better stuff.

Malek's Combat Drones, the Recon, Honeypots multi fire or my drones on the other side. Plus the infantry.

Ah - see, we've fought these sort of things before. They have a few rockets in their pods, attached to the general shell. They can piggyback of our targetting and help defray a few of the incoming tanks from a safe(ish) distance.

Meanwhile, the infantry around that command bunker can remain entrenched and and secure the wall section command staff.

If we let the tank rush carry on much further they stop being piled up and start slowly pushing us back.

The pilot skill was poorly worded. With concealment it just means that in the absence of anything else you count as having a stealth rating of 6. The regular restrictions still apply.

Since there seems to be a lot of confusion about stealth let me break it down for you guys.

Entering stealth is a free action that can only ever be taken at the start of the player turn. It will happen automatically unless you say otherwise. (You can also declare it manually at the START of your turn to remind me, since I am prone to forgetting things.)

If you have an equipment or ability that grants you a stealth rating AND there are no enemies with LoS to you within 6, AND you're not locked on then you will enter stealth. (Full Knightlite stealth armour waives the LoS restriction but the rest still stands.)

This thread will reach it's sage limit soon so in all likelihood it will not survive the night. I know I said the processing deadline was at 10pm on Sunday, but it is now for as long as this thread is around.

I originally wanted to put this Quest on hiatus after this mission was over, but after today's events I might just have to call a break early.

I'll see how I feel after I get some rest. If I'm up to it I'll process the actions in this thread and post the resolution sometime on Sunday evening, if not I'll still process the actions in this thread but the mission will resume after the hiatus.

I'm sorry to have to throw a wrench in the game flow like this. I don't like leaving you guys hanging. You've all been exemplary in your patience and have continued to play the game in good faith without shit posting. I thank you all for your participation thus far.
