I hear Jasmine scream in surprise as she sees the thing, and Marla and Elizabeth wrestle to try and get a better look at it. I sigh and rest my head on my shoulder, pulling my numb hand out from Maria's back. I stretch my fingers, feeling the pin and needles as I bite into my ring finger, drawing blood as I call live out.

She slowly rises out of the drop of blood on the floor of the helicopter, her neck still oozing blood from when I bit into it. Seems like it just happened yesterday.

She doesn't even wait for me to say anything to leap out of the helicopter and throws some strings out, catching the thing and holding it in place, before it gets crushed into tinder by the force of her magic pushing against it.

Okay, maybe it wasn't a demon, I think as splinters of it coated in blood fall into the trees

"Awww Come on Layla, I wanted to see it" Marla groans, shaking her head like a child

Writing update now

"Damn" I mummer as I stand up and walk over to the open door, the wind blowing against me as I suck on my finger and sigh "Give me a second, I'm going to clear a landing zone"

"Be back sooooon" Maria says happily, waving at me as I step off of the edge and start free falling, for a second before I call my wings of smoke out, feeling the tingling burn on my spine.

And I laugh as I hear Jasmine shout "BE CAREFUL LAYLA!"

I flip around and smirk as I feel my tails curls and wrap around eachother as I fall through the tops of the trees, holding my arms out and stretching my fingers as far apart as they'll go.

I close my eyes, feeling the sting of branches and sticks whipping against me as I hear bark cracking open. I smirk and roll onto my back, opening my eyes to see the trees falling towards me with spikes of wood pushing their way through their trunks.'

I clap my hands together, and pull them apart, a sickly green light twisted into the shape of strings coming out from my finger tips and wrapping around the trees around me as I spin back around and pull as hard as I can.

There's loud crash, and I fall down, only avoiding getting crushed by fazing at the last second.

I grin as I look up at the helicopter slowly lowering above me.

And then I smell blood, and hear hearts beating around me

I smile, and turn around to face the dark forest around me, following the sound of the thumping and beating hearts around me, licking my fangs as I wave friendly. And then suddenly I get shot at for some reason, I was just trying to be polite and they go and do something like that? the nerve of some people. I sigh and grin as I watch their bullets fly around me. And right before I go and rip them to shreds or pull their blood from their veins from here, I get and idea.

"HEY ELIZABETH!?" I shout to be heard over the gun fire and the helicopter's blade "Can you do anything with fire!"

"WHAT?! isn't there something else you should be doing right now, like killing them!" She shouts back, sounding a bit confused at my sudden question and a little angry for me asking.


"COooome on try it" I laugh as I cross my arms, really glad I brought all these coins with me, "Keheheh"

"Fiiiine" She groans as she leans over the edge of the helicopter, Marla grabbing her back so she doesn't fall out as she holds her hand out.

She closes her eyes, and clenches her hands, until...a second later she screams, red scales ripping out of her arms, followed by flames that rain down on the forest around me, like giant drops of burning blood.

I laugh as I hear the bastard shooting at me scream in shock and fear, and hopefully pain.

It takes me half a second to get over there and clamber into the helicopter to see if My little sister is okay. Marla is forcing her down and Jasmine is laying her head in her lap trying to keep her calm as Maria looks at her arms as she trashes around and screams.

"You okay Eli?" I ask worried as I crouch over her a she spews out smoke and nods

"No you're not" Marla huffs as she struggles to keep her down "Now stop squirming before it works"

Maria lets go of her arms, licking blood off of her fingers and getting a rather nasty look from Jasmine.

"Really?" She asks, sounding annoyed that she just did it

And then, I hear guns being cocked as we walk down the a small dirt path, and men and women dressed like crusaders and covered in mud and vines stepped out of the forest, taking aim at us.

"oooooh for me?" Marla laughs, cracking her knuckles as Elizabeth covers her mouth and jasmine hides behind the rest of us

"Marla" I say with a shit eating grin as the poor bastards realize who they're looking at "Merry christmas"

"Awww" She says as her voices lowers into an intimidating growl as her fangs rip through her human teeth as fur breaks out of her skin in patches as she continues to walk forward calmly "You shouldn't have"

She laughs like a broken record as her bones break and grow, her flesh stretching and tearing at itself as she falls into her beastly form, her claws cracking into place as she howls, arching her back as she decides to take awhile with them.

The men scream and start shooting at her as she charges them, still laughing as a few coins fall from her bag as she manages to get up to them without being hit ones.

She grabs one of the crusaders, one of the remanats of the dagger, and crushes his head between her hands, before knocking a naturis assassin down with him, and apparently breaking his spine. She howls and leaps on the back of a girl trying to run away, pinning her down with her jaws.

And then a robed figure flashes in with a burst a smoke, holding a silver dagger with both of its hands, getting behind marla. He raises the blade to stab her in the back. But in and instant I'm behind him, and Jack's scythe is on his neck.

He makes a weak attempt to turn and stab me with it, but I pull my blade across his neck, and his head goes a rolling on down. I hear a pain cry, and feel heat behind me as a few of the idiots run past me, burning as Elizabeth laughs weakly.

"Stop doing that!" Jasmine says sternly "You're going to hurt yourself"

"But it's fuuuun" elizabeth groans as I walk past Marla.

there's a sickening crunch and crack and she lumbers off of the girl, who lays lifelessly on the forest floor with a broken neck.

Marla looks down at me and grins wolfishly.

I grin right back at her.

"OPEN THE FUCKING DOORS!" A man screams as he runs down the forest path "OPEN THE GODAMN DOORS"

I think about just popping him, but I see the look in Marla's eyes, and decide to just leave him to her. I smile as she chuckles, sounding utterly demonic as she lopes down the flame lit forest path.

I smile and walk towards the weak and pained whimpers in the burning brush, as Jasmine starts to sparkle, and vanishes for a second, turning a little translucent for some odd reason. I shrug as Elizabeth sticks her hand through our foggy older sister.

Now I'm sure there's a little snack for Maria around here. I hear roars and shouts of terror and pain, the sound of tearing flesh and broken bones some how drowning out all of the gun fire as I push my foot against a few charred bodies, looking for one that's still alive and fresh.

I grin widely, as my teeth start to lengthen to match my fangs as claws push their way through my fingers as I twist the girls neck like a doll's. She stops thrashing around with a wet crunch and I toss her body on the floor, as Maria looks up at me with a worried look in her eyes.

"Layla?" She ask as I stomp towards the chaos of the battle as I let my true form slowly break out of me, blood dripping from my teeth as I clench them, probably hard enough to punch straight through steel "Layla? .....Ooooh, that looks fuuun"

She giggles as my giant snake tail forms as the rest of me grows to match it as I get to the center of the fight, and it stops for a second, Marla stopping from curbstomping someone to look up at me, as Elizabeth gasps and cheers almost happily.

My wings of seemingly half solid smoke rip out of my back as crack my fur covered hands, gnashing my teeth as I sweep my tail around. I stare at the holes in the compound, and see most of the people firing start to run screaming.

But a few turn their puny little rifles towards me. I just close my eyes, and listen to the sound of them firing and hitting me and the golden chains wrapped on me. I sigh and reach into my arm, and dig a coin out of my blood.

I flip it and close my eyes again, and here the same gun shot that almost hit my darling.

I giggle, and then chuckle, my smirk turning into a mad grin as my chuckling cackle turns into a mad laugh as I watch the man trip and stumble over the blood slick floors, bits of guts and skin falling over him as I make a man wearing flowers get torn to shreds by his own veins.

He makes a weak gasp for air that sounds more like air escaping a balloon as he pushes against my hands as I slowly pull him back to me.

I slither around to look at her at eye level, my tail coiling and whipping around as I do so, Elizabeth stares at me, her other eye as golden as the other and...some of the fire doesn't leave.

Jasmine reappears and just looks around at the carnage, looking sad, before a funny grin passes on her face and then vanishes just as quickly.

I find her sitting next to the drained body of the girl, wiping her mouth as she looks up at me and stares at my chest, and smirks. I cover my chest and she chuckles shaking her head as she stands up

Pull as hard as I can, ripping a portion of it off as it crumbles into dust and old stone, collapsing down into the hallway, possibly crushing anyone inside of it, if they were inside of it.

I sigh and pull on another side of the building, hearing screams as I rip a good portion of it off. Good thing this building is basically falling apart already, makes it real easy to take it apart, like it's basically just a bunch of sand barely stuck together at this point.

Ignoring them, I look into the rows of rooms that I revealed in the hallway, and see one, with a strange er...orangish red glow coming out of it?

Well not dealing with whatever the hell that is. I smirk and grab one of the decayed supports under it, and begin to pull on it. The concrete cracks and breaks apart, leaving only a few piece of rebar, that soon bend and snap. The whole side of the building sloughs over to the side and starts to slide over to oblivion. But its a little to slow for my tastes, and the scream coming out of the room a little too little for me. I grab two more supports and rip them apart, sending the whole thing hurtling towards the ground.


I laugh as I see two figures fall out of it, one covered in bark with roots and flowers growing over his skin and the other a girl in a straight jacket, who seems to stop falling half way through.

The whole thing falls with a crash.

"Holy shit" maria says quietly as it crumbles to pieces, and Elizabeth starts walking towards it, getting bathed in fire again as Marla follows behind her to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid.

A broken hand is stuck out of the top of the concrete, as the dust clears and black and brown leaves blow away on the wind, and I hear a pained groan as I see the girl laying on top of the concrete, blood covering the lower part of her jacket. As her legs were crushed in the fall.

She looks up at me, and tilts her head, grinning madly as I realize she has carved and tattooed numerous mouths of fangs closed shut on herself

And then she starts giggling

"Ah kitty kat" She says like it's all a big joke "Ah kitty cat how you make me cry, popped my students, pocked out my eye and well took my everything, even my sacrifice over there, well this is the end then right?"

Marla is sea sick, just leaning over the side and vomiting as Elizabeth hides somewhere inside, hopefully tormenting Kimberly, Clementine and snack. Kimberly got a little...rebellious early, after I nearly threw her knight off the ship for sneaking onto it.

I laugh and shake my head and then grin as Maria puts her arm around my shoulder and smiles, as she peers over the sea and points out something.

"Hey, looks like we've got a big welcoming party then" She says happily "I'm surprised they heard we were coming over so fast"

"I don't see why we're so excited" I sigh leaning against her "Oh wait, you're going over there to stay why wouldn't they be excited"

I groan tiredly in the bed, trying to pull all of the blankets Maria pilled ontop of me as I get out of bed, the long and soft blankets still wrapped around me and trailing on the floor like some kind of robe as I stumble and try to keep my balance, holding onto my baby belling as I feel the baby squirm and move around putting me further off balance.

I gasp, and trip and Maria catches me. She hugs me gently and kisses me on the cheek as she helps me back into bed, looking worried

"You've really got to learn to go slow for once" She sighs rubbing my exposed stomach as I blush, feeling embarrassed that I can't even walk straight right now "You're carrying precious cargo"

....
I groan, smiling weakly as I cradle the little girl in my arm, she looks like a mix of me and Maria, and is adorable, biting and sucking on my finger. I feel...tired, worn out, and weaker than I've ever been. It hurt so much and felt like eternity but...here she is, in my arms like all the pain and struggle was nothing, calmly sleeping as she tries to break the skin on my finger.

"Congratulations" Jack says snapping his fingers as he vanishes back into a pool of blood "it's a girl"

I gently brush her hair out of her eyes as Maria groans, holding herself next to my bed, rubbing her hand.

"She's beautiful" She squees happily holding her hand, cracking her fingers back into place with a wince "Just like you, can...can I hold her?"

"Wait, didn't you just go a little mental there a bit ago?" Elizabeth asks "What with the cursing and calling Layla kitty"

"It's complicated" Maria says meekly, as our baby makes an adorable sound, moving her fingers around and squirming in my arms

"Yeah, don't think about it too much" I giggle as I slowly hand the baby over to Maria "just be gentle okay, she feels...really fragile"

"Oh don't worry I will be, besides you're going to be spending more time with her than I will be, so let me just get to meet her before she takes up all your time" Maria says softly as she slowly rocks the little girl in her arms "H..hey it's uh papa, I uh...I uh, sorry I'm probably not what you were expecting, but...oh god you so cute, I...please go easy on your momma, okay?"

Maria wipes tears out of her eyes as she gently hands her back to me

"So...i..is it over yet?" Marla whimpers covering her eyes as she walks back into the room, followed by jasmine who's holding a small little batch of flowers "Can..can I look now?"

"Of course you can, I'm not screaming am I?" I laugh weekly

"I know right?" Elizabeth yells quietly "So do you have a name for her yet?"

"Oh yeah, we've been talking about one actually" Maria says looking down at me "Haven't we"

"Yeah, keeping in family tradition, we have to name at least one of our kids like this" I laugh "Say hi Karla"

Happened a few threads ago when we got visited by hatman, though Layla can probably do it on her own now as "mother of monster".

"Momma" Karla asks, as I dab some of the blood she's drinking off of her lips, her red eyes looking distressed and sad as she sits in her high chair, with her hair tied into a pony tail on her bangs, so it doesn't get in her eyes, maria said "W..why aren't we normal"

I hear maria chokes on her blood as Marla sighs, and goes back to gnawing on a bit of bone as Jasmine plays with some sprites floating around her, and Eli sun bathes in the moonlight.

"Er...well no we're not" I say gently as she frowns cutely and tilts her head like I tend to do

"Why not?" She asks sounding a little sad "Can't everyone else be like us?"

"It isn't that simple sweetie pie" maria sighs walking over to her as Karla kicks her legs, and puffs her cheeks out "Me and Mommy, well we just couldn't bare being normal and risking losing eachother"

"Oh" Karla sighs sadly looking outside at the lights of Brasurburge, as the distant noises of machinery and construction echo into the night "So that's why you don't let me go out and play with the other kids right?"

"No not at all" I say shaking my head "It's just...well we'll have to wait till winter okay, when the sun isn't out as much"

"I don't like mr sun" Karla huffs "Why can't he go away"

"Well then nothing would grow and everyone would be sad" Maria says bapping Karla gently on the cheek, making her giggle, and nip at her hand playfully

"Can we play after dinner?" Karla asks happily "with auntie Fuzzy, hot and sparkly"

"Fuzzy?" Marla asks with a bone in her mouth, looking really fuzzy

"Well thank you" Elizabeth yawns

"Aww of course we can" Jasmine squees "Just let me finish up okay darling"

"Yay!" Karla shouts trying to squirm out of her chair, I sit her down and she groans

"Not until you finish your blood bag" I say sternly, breaking my own heart

I sigh as I look down the darkened corridor, okay, okay starting to get a little worried, Mizuki usually tends to scuttle around by now. but nothing is stupid enough to break in here and do anything right.

"Cooome, you're making momma worried!" I groan as I slink down the hall way and suddenly a figure steps out from one of the rooms, and I turn to it and glare and sigh when I see it's just Karla, drinking a class of blood.

She's really groan over the last few...er the last decade actually and has all of her mother's g...beauty. She's gotten pretty tall to and is probably a lot more regal looking than me, except when she wakes up. Aw it so cute seeing her wearing sweats and one of marla's old t shirts with so much messy hair.

"Oh, hello mom" She say happily as she sips on the glass calmly "What are you doing out here? prowling for a midnight snack or just doing the rounds"

"Looking for your sister" I say angrily, rubbing my head as my ears twitch and Karla looks at them and giggles "Don't know where she ran off to, have you seen her anywhere?"

"She better not have"I growl as I feel my real form trying to escape my body, before my daughter puts her arm on my shoulder.

"Please don't kill my Aunt" she chuckles "Just calm down, and eliminate the possibilities, where could she be, and who could she be with, I mean, she's a really shy girl when you get down to it mother"

"Maria's asleep" I sigh rubbing my forehead as my daughter slurps her blood down and sighs "Eli's gone to the festival"
