45 minutes later and you have a new appreciation for A Brave New World, its version of dystopia may be more freaky than 1984’s. You whistle quietly to yourself as you gather up your note book and other stuff necessary for learning. Man it’s been peaceful lately, no fae and no fights, after you beat up the football team, again, no one has wanted to tangle with you again. Which is honestly disappointing, you could go for a good fight right now. You stop whistling long enough to let out a brief sigh, but then, you feel something….. Off?

You have to find Trish, whatever it is you’re feeling it isn’t good. You hurry through the school moving slightly faster than a human should be able to without running, but no one seems to give a shit.

The Bond thrums with urgency as you get closer, it’s almost like having a Trish-dar in your… Head? Soul? Whatever, the point is you can find her without even knowing where she is. In fact you almost feel compelled to find her. Your bond leads you to the other side of campus, the science wing.
Now where could she be-ah! You see Trish standing by the lockers, her face screwed up in deep concentration.

“Amy.” She acknowledges you with a grunt.

“Trish, what the hell are you doing?”

“Looking for someone, actually, scratch that. I FOUND someone. I’m assume you’re here because you felt that weird shit a few minutes ago?”

“Yeah, it made me worried so I came looking for you.” You respond. She just sighs and opens her eyes, then flicks your nose.

“Moron, you should’ve tried to figure out what was going on before you rushed over to me. I’m not exactly helpless you know.”

You peer into the void surrounding the school, and find what you’re looking for almost immediately. It’s honestly hard to miss, the figure has a weird aura surrounding them. But that’s all you can really make out, you’ve never seen magic like this before. It’s almost… light? But not.

Fixing this a bit: as we have his hand in the air, turn body so that we have a should towards him and the other towards Trish (cannot think of word opposite of parallel right now). Step in so that his elbow should be about even with our solar plexus. Side stance let's us put more weight into the eventual strick with the butt of the gun and our back leg will have more travel time and energy to push his back leb, presumably his left, back and out from under him if we aim for just under the pelvic joint. He should then land full front on the ground if we also give him a little tug up and forward with his right hand we took the gun from. You grab his hand with yours and roughly shove the gun down, he gets off one shot into the ground before you shove his hand back. With your free hand you grab the pistol and RIP it out of his hand. Once it’s free you smack him across the face with his before ejecting the magazine and the bullet in the chamber. The disarmed gunman goes limp as he hits the ground, you didn’t think you struck him that hard….

“Holyshit Amy, you did that in like three seconds. You looked just like Liam Neeson….” Trish says in awe of your performance.

“Alright, make sure he’s out cold, I’ll go call the cops from that pay-phone across the street. Make sure you wipe your prints off of that gun.” You nod as she briskly walks to the old pay-phone. You grab the gun and wipe it thoroughly with your shirt, then you slam the dudes head against the ground one more time for good measure. Trish hurries back with a frantic look on her face.

“They’d already been called, the cops are on the way. Someone must’ve done it when they heard the gunshot.”

“Oh fuck me three ways until Sunday. Let’s hurry back to class, I’m pretty sure no one saw us do anything.” You hoped, you may have been near the front entrance to the school, but it was an older building with few windows. You both quickly run back into the building and head towards class. That whole little distraction took about 10 minutes. You’re only about 5 minutes late which should be easy enough to make an excuse for.

You were complaining earlier in the day about how everything is boring again, and then this happens. You have to struggle to keep the smile off of your face, things were getting interesting again.
