"Such a hard worker" I mummer as I pat my horse sized bug's head, right next to his shield shaped horns, making a hollow thudding echo through the morning as he snaps his teeth happily "Loyal and obedient, I don't know what I would do without you big guy, I'll make sure we get you something fresh to eat in awhile"

"Oh I am simply following my destiny in life, and singular goal, to serve you in anyway I can my queen" Little green says happily, his eyes glowing, which means he's blushing as much as a non humanoid hiver can blush "There is no need for praise of any sort, I am simply doing what I am told"

"I know, but Still" I say, scratching his chitin, even though I know he can't feel a thing of it "just take the compliment, I'm being nice here aren't I"

"You always are" Little green says calmly as the annoying priest growls something under his breath.

I sigh and lay back, kicking my legs over each other as I stare up at the treetops, and start to whistle and hum.

But it comes out more as a buzzing drone, raising in pitch and lowering at the same time. Little green starts to clatter his teething and tweeting. Thas stares at me as Uli giggles and goes back to humming, a bit louder to be heard.

And then Blue joins in, walking besides me as she tries to copy me, snapping her jaw to add a dull tang to the song, even though I doubt she knows it. I giggle and ruffle her hair, and look back thunder. The old hiver looks at me, looking worn out and tired, he sighs, and starts to unfold and refold his arm blades slowly, snickering and snacking them.

"...I think it'd be wise to stop" the annoying one says "you'll call something nasty thinking it's found a few comrades"

"Oh it's just a choir tune" Uli huffs angrily "if anything, it'll keep beasts away"

I hear the priest rustling through his robes, and I glare at him.

"We...were dying" Blue says, sounding afraid as she starts to message me, trying to urge me into hugging her "And she saved us"

"I have more of a chance to die for my lady's protection, and she insisted" thunder yawns

"Yes, and any hiver we'd meet here would be fat, they wouldn't accept your offer, so stop buzzing and attracting trouble" the priest growls

"Oh you don't ever let me have any fun" I sigh, crossing my arms as Uli stops humming, and rubs the vial of dust tied around her neck

"That's because your fun is...idiocy" he sighs "taunting hivers with food, letting children ride on the back of one"

I glare at him, gritting my teeth as Blue's self consciousness fills my head, a wordless whimper that makes even little green dip down a little lower.

I ignore him, and rush over to the back of the cart as the calm, and so far nameless priest rings his bell calmly, like he's walking down a row of graves.

I clamber up into the back of the cart, waking my friends up from my armor and chitin hitting the boards. The priest looks at me, and sighs, stuffing the bell back into his sleeve. Smiley throws her pillow at me and rolls over, as Toora tries to pull Bailey out of the cart faster, and Lucy is still asleep, all spread out and helpless.

Minor yawns, and rubs her eyes as I stand in front of her. She blinks and smiles as she sees me.

"Oh, Krovy, guess you couldn't wait to see me then?" She asks teasingly "Please tell me we're at least close to the capital now?

"No idea" I say as I grab her hand and gently lift her up and start walking with her to the end of the cart "But Minor! Minor, did you have any good dreams"

She blushes, and bites down on her nails, gnawing on them like a gerbil or something as she looks around awkwardly, like she's waiting until everyone else gets off of the cart.

She sighs, and adjusts her burnt apron, before she steps up to me, and gets on her tip toes, cupping her hands around her mouth as I lean my head over to her, and lower myself a bit lower, so she doesn't have to stand up like she's reaching for the a plate on the top of a counter.

"Well" She says slowly "I...well it was weird, Little green was, well he didn't look like himself, he was just a guy in a suit who called himself little green, it was really freaky, but that wasn't the oddest bit of it"

And I walk right back over to the stew pot, and refill my bowl back up, and march right back up to thunder, who I don't even let get a word out before I push the bowl up to his lips, and tilt it up, forcing some of it down his throat and making him sputter and wheeze.

I smile as he swallows it down, and then glares at me, his eyes glowing orange as he swings his arm blade out. I catch it with the chitin on my arm and glare back at him, my one normal eye glowing red as he sits back down, and takes the bowl from my hand, looking pretty pissed he has to.

"Oh don't look so grumpy, I'm just stopping yourself from starving yourself" I Say angrily, as he sighs and goes back to slurping down his soup, much slower than I did "And stop acting like I'm poisoning you are something"

"Thanks" He mummers, slurping his spup down, looking like he's about to cry as I walk away to the forests edge with minor

"Man, you can be scary when you're worried" She says teasingly, pocking my stomach as she grins widely "Never thought I'd think feeding someone was terrifying to watch"

"Er...why are you touching me again" She asks, sounding and looking a little embarrassed

I start to smell mud and wet grass nearby, and start to head towards it, the faint sound of a bubbling stream filling my ears, as Minor sighs and straightens her apron. Her ears stand up straight and she looks up at me

"Lovely morning isn't it?" She says happily, looking up at some birds, with a cat like glint in her big purple eyes "Thanks for letting me come with you, I don't think I could stomach coming out here alone"

Seems fairly short-legged but generally fine this way. Probably better than too fat thighs.

"Well truth is" I say grimly as I put my hand on her shoulder and turn to her as seriously as I can "I wanna eat ya, RAWR!"

I snap my teeth, and she laughs as I pretend to try and grab her, reaching out like a zombie as I groan and bite, licking my teeth as I chase her over to the small green pond just ahead of us, a frog leaping into it from a red flowered lily pad as we step into the clearing.

"nooooo" She giggles, falling over and laughing as I sit down next to her, chuckling as she sits back up, and brushes her hair back down "Ahh, you always know how to make me smile Krovy"

"Just paying you back for the doing same, girl" I say patting her on the back gently so I don't end up throwing her to the ground from the force of it "You deserve a break from all that bull shit anyways, and so do I"

"Exactly" She says laying back down, using her arms as a pillow "I know they're not...like us, but still that's no reason to be rude half of the time"

"Oh forget about it...lets just relax and enjoy the morning for a bit" I say happily laying down and unfurling my wings to let them breath as my horns dig into the dirt under me, making my neck feel...terrible.

So I put my arms under my head so I don't feel like it's about to snap off.

"Wait, why couldn't you come out here alone?" I ask turning to minor as she watches the clouds "isn't this a low level zone"

"Yeah, but...I don't fight like you...Sam, Smiley or...well most of the others" She sighs "I'm just...small and all I have is a hammer, not to mention I'm a bit of a coward"

"Oh no you're not, you're just to friendly to be able to hurt anyone" I say, trying to keep her cheered up

"I don't think so" She says with a shrug "I just can't fight...it doesn't matter now does it...but I also kind of was hoping I could ask you something"

I roll over to look at her and she's sitting back, up, chewing on her thumbnail

I grab onto my legs and hold them, closing my eyes and biting my lip as I remember how little I got to see of the world I used to be in.

And I hug her back, laying my head on her shoulder as the breeze flies past us. The birds sing, and the trees dance, the frogs splash and croak, and in my mind, I hear the hiver's thinking and talking to eachother, but only barely, it's more of a whisper all the way over here.

Probably a good idea for more hip, but I suggest starting up on the lower torso before that to have a bette idea of the proportions.

Probably this, if you need to you can always scale up a bit and have the panties look slightly too small. But having a torso to reference seems like a good idea before tinkering with hips.
