"Thank you," you tell Bulma.

"No problem," she says, sounding a bit bummed about having to give up finding the Dragonball for now, but still sounding sincere.

"Very well, then," Baba says, hopping off her crystal ball and waving her arms around it.

The orb begins to glow.

"Crystal ball, shining and round, show Tofoo's parents, wherever they're found!" the old woman commands.

The glow of the ball becomes more intense, and an image begins to appear.

You see two people, a man and a woman, sitting side by side in front of a creek, looking very similar to the one near your home. They talk to one another, skipping stones and looking quite happy.

They look younger than you remember, but you definitely recognize them.

Your mom and dad.

For a moment, you feel a bit light-headed, your heart beats faster, and you feel the tears returning to your eyes.

You give your parents a brief rundown on what you've been doing since they died; how you lived on your own for years, until you met Bulma and Goku, and joined them on a journey to find the Dragonballs. You tell them about your adventures, and how you became a martial artist and competed in the world tournament.

"Magic balls?" your mother asks. "Tofoo, honey, are you sure you just haven't been having some interesting dreams?"

"No, they're real!" Goku promises, pulling out his four-star ball. "See?"

"So that's what that old thing was?" Gohan asks. "I had no idea it was so important."

"You've been doing so many dangerous things," your mom says. "And having some incredible adventures."

"Second place in the World Tournament?" your dad asks. "That's my boy!"

"I miss you both so much," you tell them. "But I promise, I'm fine."

"We miss you too, son," your dad says.

"More than you know," your mom agrees. "But we're also so proud of you. And, don't take this the wrong way, but we hope we don't see you again too soon."

He turns around, walking over to his Grandson. "I was worried when I had to leave Goku behind, but he has grown into a fine, strong young man. And while I'm not with him anymore, he seems to have found a family in all of you."

Gohan looks at you. "And it seems you have found a family in all of them."

Right. I'd say look into whatever Red Ribbon tech we can find, see if the Red Ribbon army still has any hidden bases where they might still have a dragonball, or any threads connecting to Commander Red, since no doubt he has plans to collect them.

That little blue guy, Pillowfluff or something, also was trying to find dragonballs. In fact we saw one moving along with his airship in the past, and he almost managed to jack the ballz and summon the dragon the first time. I'd say he merits an investigation as well.

Plus, if something's blocking or jamming the dragon radar, it might leave a suspicious hole in the background radiation. That might be worth looking into.

"Okay, I'll bite, what could you possibly want?" Pilaf asks her.

"I don't have time for a zoology lesson!" Pilaf shouts. "Mai, get in there and show our little friends what we're made of!"

"What? Why should I have to?" Mai asks.

"Are you doubting my mechanical genius?" Pilaf asks. "Are you questioning my power as Emperor?"

"Of course not, sir," Mai tells him. "But it's your honor as Emperor to go first."

"It's also my honor as Emperor to order my subordinates to do it for me!" Pilaf shouts.

While the trio keeps bickering, you take the opportunity to attack, running toward Pilaf and jumping at him with a kick.

"Sire, look out!" Shu shouts.

Pilaf panics and begins to mess with the controls, causing the arms of his suit to wave around in a panic.

He isn't able to do anything substantial in time, and you successfully land a hit to the front of his suit, knocking it over.

However, one of his flailing arms smacks you in the face and sends you flying away from him, crashing t the ground in front of Goku and Krillin.

The machine hits hard, but your endurance training allows you to recover after a few short seconds.

Meanwhile, Shu and Mai help Pilaf get back up, all three of them looking terrified when they see that you're already back on your feet.

"That's it!" Pilaf shouts. "Shu, Mai, you know what to do!"

Mai's suit lifts into the air, getting on top of Shu's and connecting with it. Pilaf's rises above Mai's, and does the same with hers.

The three suits combine into one large body.

"Well, what do you think of this?" Pilaf asks. "I told you these suits were real top of the line models. I'll show you what we're hiding under the hood, and if you have any questions, just yell."

The three of you stand side by side in the face of the robot, cupping your hands at your sides and saying the words in unison.

"Ka....me.....ha....me.....HAAAAAAA!!!!!"

You thrust your palms toward the Pilaf machine, three beams of light shooting out toward it, and joining together as one colossal blast that engulfs the mechanized weapon your foes are using.

There's a blinding, ear-shattering explosion, and when the smoke clears, the machine has been reduced to a pile of rubble, with a disoriented Shu, Mai, and Pilaf lying on top of it.

Goku walks over to them. "So, can we have the Dragonball now?"

Pilaf holds it up toward your friend. "Take it, please."

Goku turns to you and Krillin, holding the One-star ball in his hands.

"Alright!" Bulma shouts. "Now let's summon the Dragon!"

Loading into the airship, and leaving both Baba's palace and Pilaf behind, the four of you travel all the way back to West City, landing outside of the Capsule Corporation.

Bulma leads everyone inside, finding the robots hard at work as usual.

"Welcome back, Miss Bulma," a robotic servant greets.

"Hey, are my parents around?" Bulma asks.

"Your Mrs. Briefs is presently baking a batch of cookies, and Doctor Briefs is in the garden," the robotic servant answers. "Would you like for me to contact them for you?"

"No thanks, but I will be back for some of mom's cookies once we're done with this wish," Bulma says.

You can hear your stomach growl already. Mrs. Briefs makes the best cookies.

The four of you head out back, passing through the garden and spotting Doctor Briefs on the way.

"Bulma, dear," Doctor Briefs greets. "Tofoo, Krillin, Goku, welcome back.I'm so glad that you're here. I've recently installed a killer new theater, complete with a snack delivery system. I was just getting ready to watch the new Panput movie if you're interested."

"Not now, dad," Bulma tells him. "We're kind of busy."

"Too busy for a movie?" Doctor Briefs asks. "What could be so important?"

"We found the Dragonballs, dad," Bulma says as the four of you reach the door. "I'm finally going to get my new boyfriend."

"What? That's your wish?" her father asks. "You have three fine young men right there, why not date one of them?"

"Sorry, I'm spoken for," Krillin says, blushing a bit.

"What's a date?" Goku asks. "Can I eat it?"

"Well, depends what you mean by date," Doctor Briefs answers. "You see-"

"Dad, enough!" Bulma groans, stepping outside. "I'm going to make my wish now."

"Sure, that sounds fun," Krillin agrees.

"Doctor Briefs said their would be snacks," Goku reminds you. "Sounds like a good time to me."

"Sorry, but I'll be busy," Bulma says before letting out a dreamy sigh. "Oh, I wonder what he'll be like. Will he be tall? With long, flowing hair? Kind? With a wonderful smile? Good with kids?"

"Good with kids?" Krillin asks.

"Well, that's a long way off," Bulma says, blushing. "Anyway, let's get this started. What was it that Pilaf said last time? Eternal Dragon, rise and grant the wish of the one who summons you!"

The Dragonballs glow, and seven beams of light (one from each ball), shoot into the sky, dancing around one another as they rise higher and higher into the air.

They finally collide, forming one massive, snakelike beam of light, that slowly takes the form of a colossal, green, serpentine dragon.

Krillin yells in fear, taking several steps back and shaking.

"That's the dragon?" he demands.

The dragon growls, its red eyes gazing down at the four of you.

"I am the Eternal Dragon!" he declares in a booming voice. "Why have you awakened me from my slumber? Speak! Make your wish, and I shall make it so!"

"I've been waiting so long for this," Bulma says. "I wish-"

"Hold on a second!" a voice shouts from behind you.

Doctor Briefs is dashing toward you, waving his hands to get his daughter's attention.

"What is it now, dad?" Bulma asks. "Can't you see we're in the middle of something."

"Oh, my, is that the dragon?" Doctor Briefs asks, staring up at it. "Incredible, really. And he grants wishes?"

"Yes, in fact, he was about to grant mine!" Bulma tells him. "So, if you wouldn't mind-"

The Dragon's eyes glow. "Your wish is granted."

"No! No! No!" Bulma shouts. "Come back!"

In a flash of light, the Dragon disappears, and the Dragonballs begin to rise off the ground.

"Nimbus!" Goku shouts from behind you.

The cloud comes down, and Goku jumps on top of it, flying into the air where the Dragonballs float.

As they shoot off in different directions, Goku manages to catch one, grinning as the Nimbus lowers him to the ground.

"Goku, what did you just do?" Krillin asks.

"I didn't want my Grandpa's ball to get away," Goku explains. "So I caught it."

"But Goku, that just looks like a white stone," Krillin says, pointing to the object in Goku's hands.

"I know," Goku tells him. "After a wish is made, the Dragonballs turn to stone for a year, so nobody knows what they are, and the Dragon can rest."

"DAD?!" you hear Bulma shriek. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!"

"Yeah, I've made my wife stay gorgeous for the rest of her life!" Doctor Briefs says, grinning. "Now, come on, let's go watch that movie."

Goku and Krillin follow, while Bulma drops to her knees, shaking, and letting out a shriek of rage.

"What? I never mentioned her?" Bulma asks, shrugging. "Well, I don't see her much these days. She lives on her own."

The five of you head for the theater, taking a much deserved rest from your adventures.
