You open your mouth, and, with a yell, fire a beam of energy from your gullet.

Goku gasps, looking toward you and moving out of the way just in time, causing your blast to continue off into the distance, detonating somewhere far away.

Your friend gives you a smirk, and at your side, Krillin lets out a frustrated yell, thrusting his hands toward the spikey-haired warrior and unleashing a powerful beam of light.

Chuckling, Goku vanishes from sight, avoiding Krillin's attack and letting the blast fly uselessly out of sight.

You and Krillin brace yourselves, looking around and trying to locate Goku before he has the opportunity to strike.

Closing your eyes, you feel for his energy, and locate it right behind Krillin. Your eyes snap open, and you shout for your friend to look out.

Krillin turns around, receiving a blow to the face that sends him falling like a meteor toward the ground below. Fortunately for him, Goku doesn't give chase, instead turning his attention to you.

The two of you circle one another, eyes locked as you prepare for another round of combat.

If Goku's coming for you next, he's going to fight you on your terms.

For once, you're quite happy about the fact that your constant reliance on defense irritates Goku, and you smirk a bit as you get yourself into a defensive position, preparing yourself for whatever Goku throws at you.

He rolls his eyes, shaking his head derisively. "Always defense with you. Alright, let's see what you've got!"

He rushes toward you at his usual blinding speed, but between his lowered energy level, and the increase in strength your time on Snake Way seems to have given you, you're more than prepared.

You easily parry his first attack, and maintain a solid defense as Goku continues his fierce attacks. This time, you aren't overwhelmed, Goku can't force you back. All he can do is continue his assault.

Though your strong defense affords you plenty of opportunities to counter, you refrain from doing so right away, simply maintaining your defense. When you strike, you want to make it count, so you wait for the best opportunity.

Goku's cockiness begins to dissipate rather quickly, his frustration growing as he continues to fail and land a single blow on you. This makes his technique sloppy, something he doesn't usually let happen. Just further proof that something is seriously wrong with his mind right now.

The time is coming, and you have to ready an attack.

As Goku's attacks become increasingly frantic and sloppy, you ready yourself for your counter attack, channeling energy into your right hand in preparation for your Bear Claw attack.

Finally, after parrying one of Goku's punches, you have the opening you need. Roaring at the top of your lungs, you slam your energy-charged fist up into Goku's gut, causing him to gasp in pain and hunch over onto your fist.

He retreats at once, pulling back from you and maintaining his hunched posture as he struggles to recover from the damage you've done to him.

At that moment, Tao appears above Goku, flipping and delivering a kick to the back of the wounded warrior's head, sending your friend plummeting toward the ground, and a waiting Yamcha, whose hands are cupped, holding a blue ball of light between them.

"HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" the scar-faced warrior shouts, thrusting his hands up toward the falling fighter and unleashing a powerful wave of energy.

Goku is too disoriented to properly defend himself, and flies right into the blast, taking its power full-force. He screams in pain as he is thrown skyward, right into a waiting Tao, who delivers a chop to the back of Goku's neck, rendering your friend unconscious.

Goku's limp body falls from the sky, heading for the ground.

You race down after your friend, and Tao begins to slowly descend from the sky as well.

Goku nearly hits the ground before you catch him, but you reach him just in time, scooping him into your arms and holding his unconscious body as you land.

"We're gonna get you better, buddy," you promise Goku as Tao lands a few yards away.

You look over at Tao, still amazed that you fought on the same side as him just now. Not only that, but he proved to be a valuable ally in this fight.

As did, Yamcha. You look over to see the scar-faced fighter fall to one knee, that last Kamehameha Wave seeming to have taken most of his remaining energy.

"Thank you, both of you," you tell the two warriors.

Yamcha looks up, giving a small smile. "Yeah, well, I guess fighting on the same side as you is a little better than fighting against you."

"Don't thank me," Tao tells you. "After all, I am about to kill Goku."

"What?!" Yamcha shouts incredulously, forcing himself to stand.

The three of you look up to see one of the last people you'd hoped to run into today.

Piccolo hovers above the battlefield, arms crossed as he smirks down at you, Tao, and Yamcha.

"Goku is a little too strong for his own good," Piccolo declares. "This seems like a good time to finish him off."

"Great," Yamcha groans. "Just what we needed."

"Piccolo, right?" Tao asks, turning his attention back to you and glancing skyward as Piccolo begins his descent.

"That's right," the demon confirms. "It looks like Goku excels at making enemies."

"It's one of the few traits that he and I have in common," Tao acknowledges. "I take you're here to kill Tofoo as well."

"That's the plan," Piccolo declares with a smirk.

"I'll make it quick," he promises. "And, he's unconscious anyway, so he probably won't feel a thing."

Yamcha begins to tremble angrily.

"Of course, you can refuse, and I will have my vengeance on all of you," Tao goes on. "Strong as you are, I am confident that Piccolo and I would overpower you were we to combine our efforts."

"Hmph, playing both sides," Piccolo observes as he lands close by.

"I'm an intelligent man," Tao tells Piccolo. "I will go with whatever serves my best interests."

"Well, getting on my good side would certainly be in your best interest, since I'll be ruling this pathetic planet soon," Piccolo declares.

Tao chuckles. "He makes a fair point, Tofoo. What's your answer?"

"I acce-" you begin before giving the assassin a taste of his own medicine, surprising him with a Bear Shout that catches him full in the face.

As Tao is thrown back, you throw Goku over your head and behind you, shouting for Yamcha to catch.

The cyborg assassin begins to rise, and you rush at him, attempting to use the Afterimage Technique to catch him off-guard.

Somehow, he knows where you'll be, and blocks your attack as he gets back to his feet.

Piccolo takes advantage of your distraction, firing a blast of light from his palms, catching you in the back and throwing you to the ground. You roll over just in time to see Tao coming at you, and you flip back to avoid a strike aimed at your throat.

As you get back to your feet, you find the two malevolent monsters beginning to circle you, each one looking for the best position from which to strike you.

Glancing past them, you see Yamcha struggling to carry Goku away. At this rate, the two of them will never make it.

They'll need some help. Luckily, you can provide them with transportation.

"DARK NIMBUS!" you shout to the sky.

"Hmm?" Tao asks, glancing skyward.

The dark cloud shoots down toward you, but doesn't get far.

"I don't think so," Piccolo declares, opening his mouth and unleashing a beam of energy which strikes the Nimbus, dissolving it into nothingness.

Piccolo laughs as you look up in horror.

"Hmm, well done," Tao compliments Piccolo before looking at you. "He won't be going anywhere."

"Exactly, and neither will his friends," Piccolo tells him, glancing toward Yamcha and Goku.

"Well then, let's get the fun started," Tao suggests, raising his hands.

He appears to have reattached his missing hand, but quickly removes the other one, revealing a large, very sharp-looking knife.

"I live for moments like these," the mercenary declares, stepping toward you. "Now, let's get to the killing!"

He rushes forward.

As Tao comes charging with his knife, he raises the arm it's attached to over his head, slashing downward as he reaches you.

You jump back, avoiding his attack while throwing a powerful kick that strikes him in the side of his face with enough force to make him do a one-hundred-eighty degree turn.

With his back to you, you're able to land some more hits, moving forward and kicking the back of his knee, causing it to fall out from under him, leaving him further vulnerable to a punch to the back of his neck, which knocks him out cold much like your attack did to Goku.

"Hmph, useless," Piccolo comments, watching the unconscious mercenary slump to the ground. "That's fine, I was hoping to fight you one on one, anyway."

The demons steps toward you, removing his turban and cape and casting them aside.

"I've dreamed of this day for over three years," he tells you, cracking his knuckles. "I'll finally take revenge for what you did to King Piccolo."

Tao's out of the battle, at least for now. Now, you face Piccolo alone.

Goku was able to dominate this demon in the World Tournament, but Piccolo had been holding back for much of the battle. Besides, you've used some energy fighting Goku and Tao. It won't do to take Piccolo lightly.

"I hope you're ready to die again," Piccolo tells you, dropping into a fighting stance. "Because when I kill you, I promise you won't be coming back!"

Evil Goku will need to be restrained unless we're gonna try to go through the entire Sagas without him (and likely die to Frieza), Piccolo needs to be restrained by the Mafuba or whatever to keep the BALLZ.
And all the people who could be doing the restraining are KO'd.

So now what do we do?
Fight Piccolo and try to win before Tao or Goku wakes up?
Try to stall Piccolo until Krillin and Tien stop being rekt?
