Hey elegan/t g/entlemen, please help me make a list of 100 weird & unusual dimensions that I could use when my PCs step through a dimensional portal.

Short description, a couple of sentences would be fine, but it has to be human-habitable and not just an alternate Earth (like everything the same as Earth but Elvis is president).

>A plane of massive grey-silver plates of metal shifting across each other in hundreds of layers, inhabited by a race of crystalloids who communicate via subsonics.

>A purple-blue inferno of superheated gases occasionally coalescing into red-black balls of material to stand on, inhabited by 2'-tall dwarves made of unburnable obsidian and tar. Large watery jellyfishes slowly grow and steam away around these (gemstone?) balls and provide a point of survival for those not immune to heat.

Gunmarda.
The plane is dead. Ridiculous numbers of advanced unique weapons are stored high above out of reach in stasis fields.

Someone killed a world just to have someplace to store their weapons.

That's pretty nifty.

Huge grasslands inhabited by herds of giant antelope and meaty floating blimps. Everything above the grassline gets hovered up and eaten by enormous combine-harvester Monsters (draconic or demonic?). Consequently all the humans live in towns a few feet below the ground.

>A plane where the sun is dying and no stars are visible. All creatures on the plane are inexplicably lethargic. Even natural phenomenons like flowing water and cool breezes feel somehow slower than they should be.
>>

>Gorax Prime
>Brown and pink flesh comprises most of the plane apart from blue-green haze. Houses, castles and forests are all made of meat, bone, blood and gristle which regrows infinitely. Only medium-size insects inhabit the plane, feeding on the corruption.

>Geometron
>Huge slabs and blocks of various hard stones with no flat surfaces to stand on. Sentient spider-monkeys, carnivorous snails and huge flies/crickets/mosquitoes dwell here. Water flows in constant rivers and waterfalls but cannot pool anywhere and light also seems trapped, moving from chamber to chamber from an unknown source.
>>
1. City-sized sentient trees using bladders of hot helium to fly through an infinite asteroid field, snatch tasty asteroids with their prehensile roots and eat them. Each asteroid is populated by sentient bipedal rabbits who are identical in every way except for the hats they wear, which are not repeated once throughout the infinity of the asteroids. They are extremely xenophobic and wage wars whenever two asteroids approach each other closely enough. Their main weapon are operatic castrati whose vocal cords became capable of producing shotgun-level sonic blasts after a special operation. After they die, their ghosts gravitate towards a large nebula composed entirely of ghosts, whose luminescence serves as the main source of light in this dimension.

2. This dimension is filled entirely by a colossal disembodied head called Eric. From time to time, pimples appear on Eric's skin that burst to reveal gentlemen in zoot suits called Eric Jr. Eric Jr. defend themselves by detaching their heads and throwing them as bowling balls, using three convenient holes they have in the backs of their skulls. The head explodes on impact and a new one grows in its place. All Eric Jr. are divided into four mafias based on the colour of their zoot suit: Camorra for red suits, Yakuza for blue suits, Triad for green suits and Bratva for transparent suits. All four groups engage in weekly Olympic Games on Eric's Ajna chakra, which gives Eric sexual pleasure and makes him sweat. Eric Jr both use the sweat to cook bubble tea, their main source of sustenance, and exploit the fact that sweatiness causes Eric to get more pimples, expanding their numbers.

3. An infinite number of hotel rooms connected by doors, windows and ladders. Of their infinite number, no two are exactly the same, but one thing that unites all of them is that their walls are composed of gums, and all of the furniture is carved from teeth growing out of these gums. The hotel rooms are populated by finger-sized cyclopses with a helicopter rotor in place of a horn which they use to fly around. The cyclopses live in miniature space stations floating in the middle of the rooms, which use anti-gravity fields powered up by solving sacred crosswords that high priests receive in revelations caused by rituals of tantric sex. The cyclopses cannot touch any of the gums or teeth, the briefest touch causes them to wither, fall to the floor and turn into thirsty mummies that are cursed to drink saliva for all eternity.

4. An infinite tungsten pipe the width of a city that winds and stretches throughout the entirety of the dimension. Both the inside and the outside of the pipe have Earth-level gravity allowing to live on them. The outside is populated by geometers, a race of wireframe humanoids resembling 3D models without textures. They spend their days trying to calculate the one unifying formula of the entire Universe by using torture calculators: elaborate torture engines with living slaves chained inside. They make inputs by using assembly codes that translate numbers into specific types of pain to be applied, and use similar codes to translate the resulting shouting into numbers. The inside serves as the source of these slaves: it's populated by two-headed minotaurs who use ritual Morris dancing to cause grass to grow on the inside of the pipe and a sun to course back and forth through it, supporting an ecosystem.

5. Spiderwebs with threads thick as tree trunks anchored to an infinity of levitating crystals of amber, luminescing with the halos of fly angels trapped inside - basically, standard Christian angels, but with fly eyes and wings. If freed by shattering a crystal, these angels proselytise a radical religion called Sinisterity, stating that all molecules with a right-handed chirality are a sin against their God, Saint Southpaw. This includes human DNA, so they catch all humans and offer them a choice between disintegration and a mirroring ritual that changes the chirality of their DNA and transforms them into Antipodes, which walk on their hands, talk backwards, are born old and grow younger until turning into a fetus and then disappearing one day. The fly angels are opposed by a hivemind called Roscoe Amberdexter, who trapped them in crystals of amber in the first place. The hivemind includes three types of creatures: giant spiders with forty seven legs who have woven the webs serving as the ground, bloated gastropod toads who spit blobs of resin quickly hardening into amber and used to trap the angels, and snail centaurs with flail eyestalks. In truth, these are not separate creatures, but three genders of the same species.

The world is a seemingly infinite sky with an absolute up and down. Its flat, triangular planets are arranged in a Sierpinski Gasket, with the faces of the triangles facing "up" and "down". All planets have triangular lakes in their center, and two orbs of differing brightness orbit them, giving each flat world a day-night cycle. The entire universe is inhabited by the same set of crystalline and gelatinous creatures. The sapient jelly-like lifeforms, also present on all planets, have built large metropolises on the sandy terrain through a symbiosis with lesser, liquid-like creatures that can excrete a clamshell-like substance. However, they will go insane if introduced to any sort of change, mainly because they don't need that concept when their universe is unchanging.

>This dimension looks like the interior of a endless building, a hybrid of an apartment building and an industrial complex. It looks run down, rusty and decayed. Illumination is provided by sickly yellow lights on the ceiling.
>Upon close inspection one can notice that some of the walls appear to have a fleshy texture and organic growths, some damaged sections have stains of dry blood. Unknown and foul smelling - sometimes acidic - substances are irregularly discharged via vents or drains.
>In fact, the whole complex appears to be alive. The wind flows at regular intervals, as if the place is breathing. And strange, flesh abominations can be found roaming the halls. They are hostile, but mindless and individually weak.

>A dimension that at first, appears to be just a black void. However, it is merely shrouded in extreme darkness - even those that could otherwise see in the dark, can't do it here. No matter how strong, any light source can only provide 3 feet of light or less. They also fizzle out immediately if no one is holding them.
>Those with echolocation perceive the darkness as solid matter. And what little can be made out of the landscape appears to be a forest of massive and dead trees, but ruined buildings that would belong in a sprawling city can be found as well.
>And irregularly, out of the corner of their eyes, they can spot shapes moving just at the edge of their lights. Mysterious sounds echo through the air, and often it sounds like some creature or entity is just outside of their line of sight, stalking.
>Rarely, they can see another light in the distance, moving, probably a traveler like them. However that light is soon extinguished, followed by screams and terrible howls. Upon approaching its location, they can only find tattered remains of clothing, equipment, and the light source.

The genies act as her eyes and ears, getting information, making pacts, gaining allies, until the time to strike comes. When it happens, the Jinn-Empress’s genie armies are unbeatable. Earth has come to her attention only recently. Those rare magic lamps which have showed up on Earth over the years were nothing more than criminals and exiles from the Jinn-Empress’s domain. The plane appears identical to the "main" plane of the party, but the visible light is skewed to turn the landscape from what could be considered a Picasso painting into what the party sees, resulting in the party being grossly inefficient when attempting to interact with the plane, including something as simple as walking from point A to B. Closing your eyes and feeling your way through the plane is seen as the "safest" means for Outworlders to maneuver in the plane.

>everything is a floating island if a piece of the ramparts of a castle is torn off it floats away it doesn't just fall
>humans don't float though

Neat, thanks. I'll have to download this in HD cause the visuals are fantastic.

>Planets completely covered in small and giant eyeballs, some embedded in the gelatinous surface, some on stalks and some floating around by magic. These eyeballs are sentient, huge magic batteries. They are often raided by other alien races for their magic resources. The Zembahk - a race of smart, wise and friendly one-eyed worms - also live here and try to avoid visitors. Everything is covered in an ocean of gloop.
>>
A plane where you swap bodies (and stats) with others in the party could be cool. Something where The Half-Orc is now weaker than the Gnome despite stile having all the muscle appearance wise.

>A world where all sentient life inhabits ocean bound floating city's due to a massive infestation of burrowing super predators making land life impossible.
>>
Everything on this plane is made of small, reconfigurable blocks. Blocks and inorganic matter can be rearranged with the right tools but organic blocks require minor magic. Everything has a jagged or fluffy appearance.
>>
Huge Everglades with 100-foot-tall grasses the gown with various shimmering lights, producing random magical effects when anything touches them, occasionally creating a cascade of magic eruptions like forest fires. Small communities of kangaroo-like kingdoms live in magic-immune shells and swim underwater to hunt for orange eels.

Hot steppes with scattered mile-high termite mound cities made of muddy secretions and mica, built by many races of slave insects controlled by a race of dragons who can emit various control chemicals and who travel to other dimensions to sell slaves in exchange for tchnological items.
>>
Stretches of deserts made out of black, pulsating glass. Every ~100 km or so, a visible fissure is seen emitting blinding light from below. The core of this planet is actually a miniature sun.

>Western saloons, cattle ranches and indian tribes dot an alien landscape of reddish-purple plants and blue rocks. Except the cattle are giant bugs like beetles, maggots and aphids, the cowboys have 4 eyes and ride grasshoppers & dragonflies, and the Indians use giant fire ants & mosquitoes-of-war to attack settlements.

>A Holy Roman Empire-like world where a mined material called Luffter provides easy levitation, so everything can be made to floats. Castles, wagons, houses, small glades, chariots, ships, even suits of armor can be made to float (at a high price). Knights joust in the air, cannon formations line up on cumulus clouds, criminals swoop in on zephyrs and mansions sit atop cloudbanks.

The World Of BEES

Every type of wasp that ever was or ever will bee, fighting an eternal war of stinging and RAGE.

Geometric landscapes rather than the fractal ones we have: cubic mountains, hexagonal deserts, triangular mesh leaves, cylindrical tree trunks, spherical lakes, tetragonal slabs of grasslands, etc. The inhabitants are pretty normal fantasy civilizations but much better at math and navigation.

>Three suns transform this world every 8 hours: the Green Sun grows life and regenerates, the Red Sun causes transformation and mutation, and the White Sun causes decay, death and disintegration. Very little intelligent life resides here, mostly plants and fungi that have adapted to the rapid cycle.

>Megacorporate world where corporate brands rule each state and kingdom: Pepsi controls New Jersey, Coca-Cola runs New York; Apple has totalitarian control over San Francisco, Gazprom executes dissidents in Moscow, China Telecom is life in Shanghai, etc. Only the fascist and communist freedom fighters stand against them, with alien-sourced gauss rifles and mutant implants that give them strange powers.

a round space as big as our moon has a tiny sun in the very middle
it is covered in a well kept but unorganized garden where all kinds of plants can be seen
you end up on the other side if you try to dig down more than a couple yards
this singing and dancing borb is the only animal that lives there
although he cannot know if a visitor has come he is a good gardener

They reuse the set?

The entire "planet" is actually the back of a giant snail's shell, moving through a vast universe of greenery. Colonies of termite-people and their aphid livestock live in caverns and tunnels burrowed into the shell. Rivers of mucus run throughout.

Double Hell
>I'll let you figure out the specifics of this one
>>
>>61608135
That pic is quite funny. Are there other ones for other countries?
>>
A world in which every single being has another double that expresses everything they are thinking out loud and they follow them everywhere and if they are killed the being they are tied to dies.
Some can mute theirs by getting a operation upon their double but it forces the being to feeling the emotions upon such a intense level they are almost controllable.
>>
Computerized world where everything natural has a panel that makes it reprogrammable. Tree colors can be set, river size and depth reconfigured, even the weather can be configured... but you need access keys or great hacking skills. The inhabitants are nanomachine humans who have re-created the civilization that created them before it was destroyed in a terrible war. They pretend to be this civ as a tribute to their creators and perhaps to fulfill some other hidden directive.
>>
Modern world but dinosaurs survived throughout history and some were domesticated. Triceratops for logging, megalodonts for meat, velociraptors as hunting dogs, brontosaurus for construction, etc. Many are still wild and jungles here are much more dangerous than our world. Guns are also fuckhuge, often steam or electric powered, with enormous calibre to take down these huge beasts.
>>
>Post-apoc green world filled with ruined mecha and toppled superstructures, now overgrown by kudzu, purple fruit vines and filled with alien flora & fauna. Giant robot parts and machinery form the floor of the whole world. Small tribes of humanoids with four arms or reflective silver skin have built jury-rigged towns in the remains. Some of the robots were mechanical, some polymorphic, some techno-organic and some seemed to be golems made of marble, jet and gold.

>Liquiform giants roam planes of sizzling steel, beneath which lie huge furnaces, foundaries and machineworks for some titanic industry whose owners have gone absent. Swarms of copper rats and clever, evolved rust monsters travel through steam pipes and empty tunnels, eking out a miserable living.

>A dimension where your "field of view" starts expanding, until you finally enter "third person view" of yourself. Your point of view keeps slowly drifting away from you and as your body starts feeling distant, you occasionally don't notice certain sensory inputs and your movements happen with a lag. Staying too long in this realm causes your mind to kind of drift away.
>>
>This is a normal world except large animals like elephants, whales and rhinos are small while small animals like mice, beetles and rabbits are huge. Trees, bushes, mushrooms and fruits switch sizes too. Farmers cultivate herds of mega-rabbits while miniature tigers hunt mini-cows in the cellar.

Vigrid. The valley where the final battle will take place, to end the world. Just standing in it gives you the ethereal impression that you will, ultimately, die, and there's not a damn thing you can do to prevent it.
