You are a Cave Hydra, big and mighty. Right now, you've found yourself covered in minor wounds that start to now sting together with your quite huge wound on your neck. All because you had to put a rather huge amount of effort to kill the Blue Ape that challenged you in this siege.

With the humanoid beast turned into paste under your limb, you notice that the red and black blob of humans have advanced further into the city. The Erazmo States army stopped being so aggressive with the defense right at the gate and fell back into the safety of tight alleyways. And to top it all off, you will be forced to actually try and navigate yourself in these tight passages to kill the highest amount of 'your' enemies in order to be rewarded.

>Whining doesn't serve you a meal. Return to the front.
>Lick your wounds. You are in no hurry to get yourself killed.
>Going from the front is stupid, try the sides.

You move your body around, wiping your dirty limb from the gore as you're walking. With roar, you follow up behind your allies, they all step aside, giving you way so you don't happen to crush their bones by accident.

Soon enough you come to a halt in your chase after the gold and blue men. They have nestled themselves in a much, much more better position as they're on a small hill, above you. Which they use to their advantage by sending waves upon arrows down below. None of these flying sticks do any damage to you, save for extremely minor scratches, this is because you hid behind one of the buildings. However, your current enemy capitalizes on this situation and you see a line of pikes advancing from right about the corner. Not wasting any time, you crash right into their sides the moment they appear.

Once again blood is sent flying into the air, accompanied by screeches of pain as your flanking maneuver lets you dig yourself into their ranks with teeth and claws ripping apart whatever they met. What counter-attack they had, is now rather quickly turning into pieces. Question is if you risk being straight in the middle of your enemy, alone. Or do you turn around.

>Stay, remove this blob of humans.

Yet! We just need more heads!
>>
>>122469
That either means growing older, or having one of our two other heads cut off.
>>
>>122402
With anger, you and the two other you swing about wildly, snapping at bodies and crushing them with a metallic crack before thrashing yourself about. Claws extended to tear through bodies like through water surface.

Brave men try to stop your rampage, but their spears break and their spines right after. Minor cuts start to cover your body, which you ignore. No real pain is sent towards you and after few more seconds, the flanking gold and blue men retreat. In a fit of rage that some sneaked out from your gore-fest, you charge right after them. Going uphill and crashing your sides into the buildings, making them crack and sometimes even topple over.

You catch them right on top of the edge, breaking their bones with your limbs as you have lunged at their position and crashed your entire body weight. What's to your surprise, your impact must've been enormous, because a huge explosion booms thorough the city. That swelling feeling of power is quickly dispelled however, as another explosions echoes. And with it, the smell of magic.

>Investigate.
>You are not in a mood to fight anything related to magic. Roam the alleyways for someone to challenge your power on more equal grounds.
>What else?

>>122469
>>122478
Friendly reminder that you feel all that happens to your body. So you would feel that pain of having your head cleaved off. You really don't want to have that happen to you.

And for potential new comers. Some Hydra head biology lesson: Cave Hydras are born with 3 heads. The main head, if cut off, regrows instantly and with additional 2 heads. But at the cost of stamina. If non-dominant head is gone, it will regrow over some time with one other head accompanying it. Choking and neck breaking is actually an effective way to deal with a Hydra as well.

You know what magic is capable of, you had a few encounters with magic users and you must admit that most of them left a very negative imprint on your 'first impressions' when it comes to things of such nature. That's why you are not going to bother yourself with that.

Instead, you start roaming the place around. Much to your surprise, it's incredibly.. Void of fighting. You have no idea where are the fights happening, whenever you follow a source of screams and metal banging against metal, that place quiets down and turns into mass pile of corpses. not to mention the burning houses that disorientate you even more.

"We shouldn't have done this. This is stupid and tiring." Your left, Hisk, chimmers out.

"I am having a lot of fun, speak for yourself." Harbenk replies.

"I am you fool!" Your left you yells out with a growl.

And as you were about to calm them down, you are forced to come into a stop. Because right in front of you, at the other end of this already squeezing you alleyway, is a grossly oversized insect. You only hear its battle-cry in form of a loud buzz before it charges straight at you.

You normally wouldn't worry, it's smaller than you. But it's massive horn that's covered in bloody spikes and body parts of human corpses and the surprising speed at which it advances make you a little bit uneasy.

>Charge back, You will not be pushed around by those smaller than you. You have pride to keep up.

You spread out your limbs and buckle your hind legs just a little bit. You will stop this bug no matter what. You will not be blatantly treated as inferior by everyone you come across, that is getting very much annoying.

Few moments is all it takes for this oversized Blue Beetle to be within your range. While gasping for air, you raise your entire upper body in a growl of effort, this does not stop the charging Insect at all and keeps going, the pointy spikes aiming directly for the front of your body. Eventually, the contact is made.

Your heads wriggle in pain as cuts of mostly shallow size go through your hide while the Beetle screams in a fit of pain. Your claws dug into the metal plates or go in-between them and into the chitin armor. Green blood and flesh leaks out from the puncturing wounds and it quickly slowed down. You feel that your penetration was caused mostly by your weight, that's a really strong natural armor on its back.

>Battle of strength it is, push it out.

You anchor yourself against the horn with your jaw, your other heads follow you in doing so. And once you get comfortable, you straighten your hind limbs and push your foremost ones in unison with your necks.

With this combined effort, you manage to completely halt and gently nudge the Insect back. Its limbs skid on the ground as it tries to stop you with little effect. And while it is a grueling task at first, with each step you make, the Beetle loses more footing, making further steps easier and more effective. It wriggles about, trying to deepen your wounds which now starting to pile up on you, but it quickly stops due to your claws that rest in its back and dig deeper whenever it moves.

Eventually, your strut across the alleyway becomes harder yet again, right near the end, your current opponent tripled their efforts and the metallic spikes now dig into your hide once more as you're coming to a halt.

>You are extremely close to getting some room, push yourself just a little bit more for the killing blow.

You push back, as you have told yourself earlier. This will not do and you will not be pushed about by someone inferior to you. Respect is something you deserve and you will go for great lengths to receive it.

At first, you can't get a solid push, the spikes slowly digging into your body and the Beetle gaining inches after inches. But you snap finally and growl out a primal roar that rumbles the buildings around you and even silences some battles. You're angry, and now you must just crush this Insect.

Your entire body moves forward, all what your opponent gained was removed in two mere steps. And next steps you made were like a stomps of a Mammoth, crushing and pushing aside anything that stood on their path. And to make sure that your opponent suffers the most, you humiliate him first.

With massive strain on your spine, you arch your body with an exhausting grunt. And with that arch, you pick up the Beetle into the air, making it flail its limbs in despair as it slowly realizes what's going to happen. After few more steps you're out of the alleyway and enter the spacious place. And the moment you get out from that tight passage, you slam your entire body down.

Ungodly satisfyingly crunch and screech of impending death whines out from underneath you as the chitin and steel armor crash into the body, compressing it together with your muscle and weight. You see a single limb even flying off into the distance as the abdomen explodes with guts and insect innards.

Panting, you slowly move yourself away from the corpse of the insect and you inspect your surroundings. Just in time to see Vulpes, the Steppe Wolf, flying out of a building's window with a corpse in gold and blue coloring at his claws.

"Hahahah! Enjoying yourself, Hydra?!" He asks out, licking the blood from his snout.

Oh boy, that's a question that will require you to think.

Basically.

You are a Cave Hydra, an animal, feral. You were doing your thing in your nest in the mountain. Eventually you decided to go outside with the dwarves. Turns out, there was a necromancer near the town they approached. So obviously you've dealt with that because Necromancy is particularly big middle finger to nature and the natural order. Turns out, bunch of adventurers wanted to get him themselves, but you were first. Then you kind of manhandled the adventurers into letting you follow them around. Later in you had an encounter with an ILLEGAL BEAST FIGHTING RING which you destroyed. Then you had to leave your adventurers and E VOILA YOU GOT YOURSELF ENLISTED IN AN ARMY.

IS the more or so version. Go through the archives for more in-depth details.
>>
>>122972
We're a three headed cave hydra, we mucked about in the underground of this world for a while, decided to follow a dwarven merchant caravan to the surface, ran into zombies and went full paladin against the necromancer responsible (dead things should stay dead dammit), met a party of adventurers who were after said necro, sorta made friends, got given our names by them (which translate to Needy, Stubborn and Asshole), eventually parted ways with the group after discussions of ownership, encountered an army, asked for a recruitment pitch, liked what we heard and now were fighting in a war.
