Totally unrelated, but I started a new quest on weekend nights called Mechs & Dragons using the d20 Past/Moder/Future/Urban Arcana books where a mech pilot ends stranded in an alien world.

As Im sure I've told you guys before, I like to use the same NPCs in different games so the players have a basic idea of who they're dealing with.

They know Lyann is smart, Mako is gentle, Stella is a handful, etc. Currently having trouble making Zoe, to be honest. If you guys know something about the system, please give recommendations.

I ended up making Stella using half-ogre racial mods, and just placed a Beastkin tag on top. Not sure what to do for Zoe since I want them both to be basically cops.

Gonna post Stella's sheet as a sample.

I haven't decided on the season finale for that quest. Thinking it may be any of the following.

> As the MC and company are relaxing after their adventure, his mech gets a signal. A ship is approaching. Rescue is at hand!? The MC has to choose to hail the ship or not. Right now he probably has a pretty nice and comfy life and his mech's date says he was in stasis for over a million years so its not as if he has someone to go back to. But does he want to spend the rest of his life in a 'primitive' corner of the galaxy, or does he want to go back to the greater galactic community?

>The 'rescue' ship turns out to be a Star Ranger Cruiser ship. The world is a "preserve world" which isnt meant to join the galactic community until they develop to a certain point, a la Star Trek. The officers on the shop are coming to question him. The officers are Stella and Zoe.

As of right now I still havent decided if they will be knights of the country the MC is in, or Star Rangers (basically Texas Rangers in spaaaaace)

>The humanoids in the planet turn out to be the descendants of a crashed penal ship that the MC & Co. find at the end of the 1st campaign. Tempted to say is the SS Success.

What do you think? And do you have any ideas for how to make Zoe? Im thinking in Smart or Dedicated Hero, maybe evenCharismatic hero to balance out Stella, and be the brains/face of the couple.

We wake up cuddling with Lyann, our arms around her as we hug her. She's soft and warm and smells so nice... it's hard getting out of bed.

"Brother, breakfast is ready." -calls Zoe on the door.

Looks like we overslept a little bit.

"Coming! Thank you!"
"Okay." -our adorable little kitten (she's a lion, though) sister goes away

"Uhnn... no, Eldric you meanie, I can't anymore..." -says the lovely redhead in our arms

We kiss her. Obviously, she's being cute and cuddly so she must be kissed.

"Uhnn.. good morning." -she says softly
"We're late for breakfast."
"Ah!"

We wash up and help each other dress up before going downstairs.
As we leave the room, we run into Athena.
Our petite sibling looks at us and demands we carry her downstairs.

"Athena, you are too big to be asking to be carried." -says Lyann softly
"Uhhh... Lyann is so mean! you were hugging brother, but I can't!? I really can't!?"
"..."

We pick up Athena and go downstairs with her in our arms.

Most of the family is already done with their breakfast, and Ellie is already washing the dishes while Zoe is helping mom with our smallest siblings.

Dad already left.

"You three, you are gonna be late and make Zoe and Mako be late, too!" -admonishes mom as she sees us coming downstairs

Once we are done with breakfast, our moms (Ellie and Linda) give us each a kiss and hand us our lunch before sending us off.

We emerge from the peach tree in the imperial garden, and find Mako patiently waiting for us while wearing her uniform.

Despite how nicely she has grown to fill it, the impression we get is still "c-cute!" over anything else, somehow.

Ah, one of our teachers shows up behind us and gives us a noogie.

"You are late." -I guess it's Ami? Mai always gave us a more refined impression.

Ah, as usual, its still 4-5 hours before sunrise here, uh? time zone difference can be truly felt when you cross the pond.

"Sorry."

Mako comes to our rescue. She holds our hands with a bright smile, and gives us a radiant "Good morning" as usual.

"Good morning." -says Lyann, Zoe and Athena as well.

"Eldric, did something happen?" -asks Mako
"No, we're just treestriding straight to college so we had a bit more time today."
"Okay!"

It's okay, really? even though we made you wait?
If we had made her wait alone in the dark, we would feel super bad, you know? it's a good thing Ami and Mai are always with her.

Well, we make it to the oak at the back of the college gardens, and head towards the classrooms.

We are somehow still a couple of minutes away from the start of classes, so we are technically early. Right?

"Eldric, can we go home after class? I want to show you my new cooking skills!" -says Mako
"Uhh... brother is going out shopping with me." -says Zoe
"We actually have to work in the lab and then the office, you know?" -says Lyann
"M-me too! I want to play with brother at home!" -says Athena

"Oh" - Mako nods nods- "Promises are important."

Zoe's tailtip starts flicking back and forth. She's not as obvious as Stella, but you can still tell ehr mood by her tail if you know how to look.

The day goes by nicely enough. We find out about a new idea in automaton construction which may increase production speed. By having an existing automaton hold a Seed Stone inside its body over time, a 'backup' mind is created which can then be used for a new automaton.

Obviously, it is slow at first, but the more automatons you have, the more seeds you can reproduce so its becomes faster and faster.

The theory comes from Alquia, apparently. It looks like they have a think tank of their own, and the head researcher is fond of exchanging ideas. Our alchemy teacher spent summer down there, thanks to our new rockitship's taking her to Sanc, a neitral harbor city, from where she boarded one of the Alquian Empire's new cruise ships.

The teacher says she was greatly impressed by how the cruise ship ignore both currents and winds, and moved without sails.

"Of course" -she says- "Rockitships can move over land, so that's still much more convenient, but for this route the higher speed of the Alquian ship was superior."

So, the new Alquian ship can go faster while taking a roundabout route, than our rockitships do on a straight line?

Anyway, during lunch break we gather with everyone and enjoy ourselves for a bit.

"I will go and purchase the slaves today, so have fun with Zoe, alright?" -says Lyann to us as she wipes Athena's face clean.

Of course, our petite blond imouto moans and squirms as she gets treated like a child.

Well, she's a child, so it can't be helped.

"Alright. Is there anything we should specifically buy?" -we ask while looking at them with warm eyes
"I have a list." -says Zoe, and we nod

"Oh, is this a family table?" -asks Honoria as she comes by with Dawn and Kya.
"No, no, please have a seat."

"Pri- Kya, I'm going to buy the slaves for the villager-monster experiment today, do you want to come and check the slaver's stockade for children for the orphanage?" -says Lyann
"Yes, that will be a great help." -says our friend's sister as she sits down next to us.

Dawn and Dusk are missing, somehow.

After classes, we tale Mako home together with Zoe, while Lyann and Kya head to the slaver's ctockade.

After giving Mako a sweet little goodnight kiss, we [Treestride] back to Albion and emerge from an apple tree in front of Grumnir's shop together with Zoe.

"Nya! Eldric and his little sister have come visit, nya!?" -says Miiyau when we emerge from the tree as she is sweeping the entrance.
"How do you do?" -says Zoe politely as she greets the older beastgirl.
"You are so polite, nya! I've been well, thank you very meow!" -says the cherry blonde beastkin while giving a goofy smile.- "Grumnir is inside, nya."
"No, we are going grocery shopping. Just wanted to use the tree as waypoint."
"Oh, alright. I will tell him you came by, nya!"
"Yes, please send our best regards."

Miiyau nods nods, and we head towards the main street.

Zoe holds hands with us tightly.
I guess she's still scared of getting separated in the large crowds. She's such a cute little sister.

"Ah, we need to buy vegetables first..." -she says while looking at a three-floor tall 'mall' of white stone.

The shopping district in Albion is quite clean and modern. Well, it honestly resembles more a shopping district in Rome's glory days. Should it be said that rome was surprisingly modern, instead?

The 'mall' has white stone plates covering a concrete skeleton, and running water down a canal system on the outer edges of it, so waste and dirt can be quickly swept away.

It's honestly cleaner than most farmer's markets we'd saw in our previous world.

Of course, we are both still wearing our school uniforms, so we look a bit official-looking, I think.

Zoe just looks cute and adorable, of course. Her skirt is a little shorter than the standard, but that's so her tail can poke out without troubles, right?

Surely so.

"Oh, are you taking care of your little sister today?" -says a stall owner we are familiar with.- "I just got some fresh products all the way from Blacklake, you know? Very fresh sweet water algae, good for soup."

The rockitships have increased the menu options in the northern continent, as well as decreasing transport costs.

"We're looking for pumpkin!" -declares Zoe emphatically- "Don't try to sell us weird things, sir!"
"Ah, the young lady is so strict!" -regrets the clerk- "Alright, pumpkin it is, pumpkin."

Into the [Item Box] it goes.

As we are going around, we also see a spices and oil stand. Spices from Heven and cooking oils from Alquia... didn't we embargo Alquia? how is this stuff here?

She quickly runs out and stands in front of us with expectant eyes.

She runs indoors with a "te hee" kind of expression to brag about her kiss.

"M-mine was better!" -ah, Zoe runs behind her

She's a little kitten, after all.

Afterwards, she helps Ellie with dinner.

Right, if it is an official slave with a real slave collar, you can give them orders they can't refuse, so there's no need to watch over them.

"Alright, let's hope things work out for the best."

We wake up with Miel (II) against our chest, and prompty proceed to wake her up through tender loving.

"A-ah... Master.." -she cries out sweetly as we gently caress her wings along their upper edge while kissing her.

Well, her wings are just so delicate, we don't dare to have her lay on her back, so, doggy-style or cowgirl will have to do.

The morning, thus, starts in quite the pleasurable note. Then comes breakfast, the walk to class, lunch, and finally, the long awaited experiment itself.

It feels a bit weird, since its not -our- experiment, it's Verdi and Lyann's project, after all.

The slaves are... ah, they did manage to get a elf, dwarf, human, orc and beastkin (lizard). Well, that's a pretty wide sample pool, so let's see how it goes.

They set up the containment field in the lab, and have the slaves step into it one at the time. The first one will be...

The human, a 20-something local young man, steps unto the platform and the isolation fields come up safely, cutting him off from the rest of the world for the time being.

"T-this is safe, right?" -he asks
"I wanted to test it on myself but my colleagues objected." -says Lyann
"Alright... why?"
"Shush, its working... yup, it worked just fine. Now we need to change your class... and there it is. Monster has become available together with the others. I'm doing the change now. That's it."

Everyone looks at the guy.

"What is it?" -he asks nervously
"Nothing, its almost dissapointing. Hold on... you're a villager again, as promised."

Verdi turns off the isolation field

"You can come down now. You are free to go. Thank you for your assistance.. ah, here's some money, please come back tomorrow and we'll pay you again."

Its important to take periodical observations, after all.

The dwarf is evolving!

"He must have had levels in other job!" -says Verdi

The dwarf evolved... but he looks much the same, except with slightly smaller eyes and ears. His hair is also a lot thicker (and smoother) as it grows back from his head. His beard is also softer looking.

Lyann promises she will give us a copy of the data by the time we come back, so there's not much else we can do right now.

At Mantequira, we finally get to mee with the sage that wants to look into other possible sources of contagion for diseases beyond 'miasma' or divine curses.

Anyway, after a short break, we invite the sage that wants to build a larger, more modern laboratory.

Let's try to resume his idea.

In short, he wants to build three alchemical furnaces, an astronomy center, a mana line research facility, and ample classrooms and laboratories in a single installation so that sages and scholars can concentrate in a single place and exchange ideas weekly without having to cross vast distances. He wants to make a world famous research insitute, uh? and for his dream to come through, he wants money to fund several expeditions into mountains within the region, looking for one that is as close as possible to the capital, in an area of clear night skies, on top of a mana line (aka dragon's vein), and there, build this research center of his.

Uh... well, it's not a bad idea but... should I call it a dream? does such a place even exists? and he wants to have the heavy materials needed for the alchemical furnaces delivered to the top of a mountain? furthermore, a tunnel will have to be dug down from the top of said mountain to the depths of the earth in order to study the mana line, food and water will have to be delivered there on a regular schedule, and safety personnel will have to be assigned to it to keep away dragons who may feel like the lab would make a nice nest once the small races finish building it in their preferred nesting grounds.

No wonder he's asking for so much money!

Kya's head leans to a side with a odd expression as we promise to hand the money in a few days.

We'll have to work extra hard to placate Lyann's anger about using our funds like that, but... well, it'll be fun. Besides we can get more by going to the dungeon if we are in a rush, and we steadily get a fair amount from our rockitships anyway... it will probably be alright... right?

Well, we pull Zoe into a hug and have her sit in our lap while we work for the rest of the evening while patting her head and kissing it softly from time to time.

Well, Kya is interested in the Empire's law books, so she mostly reads those if she's not directly involved with work.

By the way, Zoe's twintails are great. They combine the charm of long hair with leaving her neck exposed, so we can give her little kisses while we work.

Harrassment? what's that? is it delicious? this is completely innocent, you know? it's a big brother doting on his little sister. She's okay with it, too.

Alright, we managed to finish our work day safely. Maybe we should organize a beach trip this weekend as a thankyou for everyone's hard work over the week? or maybe a bath house event? I feel like the bath house is our default lewd games spot, though, so maybe a beach trip, which feels like a more innocent and pure event, would be better.

We go back home when office hours in the Empire are done with. It's quite late at home, late enough that Lyann fell asleep while waiting for us.

She did found two. However, one is one of the alquian troops we captured ourselves, and the other is a gnome.

Ah, the basic premise is that, in exchange for participating in the experiment, we would let them go, right?

After talking with the man for a while, he is more than willing to sign up with the imperial army, which he thinks of as a promotion.

Well, its fine, isn't it? both Ren and Mako are really cute, and despite Ren's funnier tendencies, she actually does her work properly every day.
