"O-Oh, sure. Go ahead." You put the call on hold. Then, you slowly check up on Fujiko inside her room. You were incredibly careful not to make too much noise as you open the door.

Fujiko looks like she was still sleeping, but just to double check you call out to her in a whisper. "Fujiko... Fujiko..."

When she hears your call out to her, you see her shoulders move up and down under the blanket. "Fujiko?" You call out to her again, this time, her shake was much more obvious. "Fujiko are you awake?"

She starts to panic. She must've been trying not to disturb you while you were talking with Aya. "N-No... I'm still asleep." She tells whispers to you.

"If you were asleep how come you can talk?" You ask her to which she immediately goes quiet. Then, she starts to fake snoring noises. "Fujiko, I already know you are awake."

Finally, she gives up on pretending to be asleep. "Sorry, you sounded like you were having fun talking on the phone that I didnt want to disturb you." She tells you while hiding half of her face under the blanket. "I'm okay here Ryu, you can go back to talking on the phone. It's Aya right?"

"It is." You tell her.

"Not at all." You tell her. "Now where were we?" You try your best that night to keep Aya company. At least try to get her mind off of tomorrow.

You talked with her on the phone deep into the night. You start to fall asleep on the phone. Just like old times, both you and Aya fell asleep while talking on the phone. Unfortunately, you weren't able to get back to Fujiko. You fall asleep at the couch.

The next morning you slowly wake up as the sun hits your eyes. "Where am I?" You whisper to yourself as you look around. Then you remembered you slept over at Fujiko's.

"Ah, that's right... I"m at Fujiko's." You then noticed the blanket that was covering you. Fujiko must've given you a blanket when she saw that you fell asleep already. "I should say good morning to her." You whisper to yourself. It was the least you could do for not waking up beside her that morning.

You try and find her all over the house. However she was gone. "Fujiko!" You call out to her multiple times without her answering back. "Fujiko where are you?" You search in her room, her bathroom, her kitchen, pretty much everywhere. All of the places turned up empty. "Where could she have gone?"

Checking your phone for any messages, you only had one unread message. "I've gone to Ooji to apologize. I'll make sure to get his forgiveness and earn your trust back. I'll be back for our shopping trip later for sure! PS. I made some breakfast. It's on the table just heat it up. I love you Ryu."

You should've felt happy seeing that message. So why is it that you felt restless and uneasy?

"I guess she really feels guilty about yesterday..." It was nice to see her taking initiative. To try and get your mind off the feeling of uneasiness, you try and find things to do around her house. "I guess I can return the favour and clean up a bit."

You clean up everywhere in her house. It took you all morning to finish up cleaning her living room. "Phew... All done."

Unfortunately, she was still nowhere to be found during lunch. "I'll try calling her." You try and give her cellphone a call to give yourself peace of mind. However when the message telling you her cellphone is either turned off or out of range is the only thing that answers from the other line, your uneasiness just grows.

"I'm sure she is alright..." You whisper to yourself. You prepare yourself some lunch in her house. "She should've been here by now..." She was so excited for your date that you doubt she would miss it for the world.

"I'll give Ooji a call. I want to see if Fujiko is there." On your way to Ooji's house you give him a call. Your uneasiness is made even worst when he doesn't answer the phone.

Hearing that message just made you want to hurry up and check up on Ooji's house. "What happened to them!?"

Finally, after sprinting all the way to Ooji's house you arrive. You ring his doorbell once. No answer. You ring it the second time. Still no answer. "Are they okay?" You look through his window but it was too dark to see anything. You ring his doorbell again. The third time still yielded the same result. "I need to do something!" You try and open the door and to your surprise, it was unlocked. As the door slowly creaks open you you heart starts to race.

"Ooji? Fujiko?" You call out into the dark apartment of Ooji. "Are you there?" Just like the doorbell, you got no answer.

You've been at Ooji's house before so you knew your way around. Still, you were careful with navigating the dark apartment. A familiar smell greets you as you get close to his living room.

You cover your nose as the overhwelming smell of blood greets you. You put your hand on the wall to try and find the light switch. Finally, you find it. Turning it on, you get paralyzed to see Ooji on the floor lying in a pool of blood. His shirt had multiple holes where he looked like he had been stabbed.

"O-Ooji?" You call out to him but it was no use. He was dead.

You try and call her multiple times but her phone was still off. You look everywhere around town but you couldn't find her anywhere. You look in the shopping district, you look in school, you even look around your neighbourhood but Fujiko wasn't there. "Fujiko... Where are you?"

Just to make sure you don't miss anything you double check all the spots you already searched. You must've searched for hours. When you realized how long you've been searching the streetlights were on already. "Fujiko... Where could you be?"

All this time you just focused on finding her. So much so that you haven't thought about what you would do when you finally do find her. "Wait... If I find her what do I do? She attacked and killed Ooji... Does that mean she went there to finish the job? Does that mean she was just lying to me when she told me she will ask for forgiveness?"

You take a deep breath. "I just have to stay calm... I'll ask her what happened and I'll scold her... Hopefully she listens and then I'll forgive her." Everything will be back to normal then. That was the plan you were going to go with as you approach the abandoned warehouse.

Before entering, you take a deep breath. Just remembering what transpired there a week ago made you hesitate to go inside. "I... I can do this... I have to find Fujiko."

Going inside you navigate through it again hoping you would find Fujiko. "Fujiko! Are you here?" You call out to her as you walk down the hallways. "Fujiko!"

Finally, you get a response. However it wasn't the response that you were expecting. It was the sound of a girl weeping. You try and locate where it's coming from.

Tracking down the sound, you finally find who you were looking for. "Fujiko!" You yell at her.

Immediately, Fujiko looks back to you. "R-Ryu!? W-What are you doing here?" It was clear she has been crying. Her eyes were red and there were tears streaming down her cheeks.

Her shirt was bloody, immediately telling you who it was that murdered Ooji. However, you start to notice that her clothes were torn apart. It was as if she was attacked. "S-Sorry Ryu... I couldn't help it... It just happened so fast and I had to do it..." Fujiko looked devastated.

Before anything else, you ask her what happened. "Fujiko... Tell me what happened okay?" You try and get close to her but she moves away as if she was ashamed of herself.

"I... I killed him... E-Even though you said not to do it... I did it..." She covers her face with her hands as she looks away from you. Immediately, you noticed the bruises on her wrists. It was as if she had been tied down.

"Fujiko? Are you hurt anywhere?" Now that you look closer, it almost seemed like the blood on her clothes was a mix of her blood and Ooji's.

"He hit me... He hit me on the back of my head but that's it."

"Can I see it? I want to see if you are hurt anywhere else..." She was hesitant to let you near her but she must've felt your concern for her. She finally lets you close and you found dried blood covering her hair. At first you thought it was just Ooji's blood but as you examine her closely, you noticed that she had a wound on her head.

"Ouch." She even winces in pain when your finger gets too close to it.

"Sorry Fujiko." You immediately pull back. "Now then... Tell me what happened. I promise I'll listen."

"You won't be mad?" She asks you. "You won't be mad like yesterday?"

Then, it happened. "I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head. That was the last thing I remember..."

"Did you get knocked out?" You ask her with concern. Fujiko just nods.

"I think so... When I woke up, my hands were tied and I was lying down on the floor... He started to talk to me about revenge and something about finishing what he started a week ago."

Once again, Fujiko nods. "Yeah... Remember when I told you he drugged me?"

When her nurse comes in to clean up in her room a bit, you saw your chance to ask where Aya might be. "Aya?" Her nurse tries to remember where she could be. "Ah, yeah, Aya is on the second floor. After her parents visited she asked me to take her to a support group for people who are going to be in the hospital for a long time."

"Ah really?" It was quite unlike Aya. Something must've hapened for Aya to want to meet new people. That was just not Aya. "Thank you." You hurry to the second floor to talk to your childhood friend.

She nods her head. "My dad was quite angry... He told me not to contact him anymore." Aya's smile was melancholic. "My mom told me just to let my father cool off for a bit. I hope he doesn't get too angry with me like my sister." Even though Aya refused her father's request, you could tell it was still bothering her. Even though her parents were too strict with her, Aya still felt that she had the responsibility to fill the hole her older sister left. That must've been why she looked melancholic.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm sure he'll cool off and understand you soon." You encourage her as you pat her on the head.

"Thanks Ryu..." When you finally arrive at the rooftop of the hospital, you were amazed at the view.

"Wow, it really is nice." You tell Aya.

"Right? It looks nice huh?" The two of you find a seat. Once the two of you find one, you sit together. Seeing the nice view together with you, along with standing up to her parents must've given Aya courage. "Hey... Ryu... Is it... Is it okay for me to keep liking you?"

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

"You know... You have a girlfriend now... Is it okay for me to keep liking you? It won't bother you?"

Thanks to that, she was able to fully embrace her feelings for you instead of hiding it fearfully. "I'm not the greatest person in the world though so you might find a way cooler guy than me."

"I doubt it." She smiles at you. "I've known you for a long time and you are still the coolest guy in the world for me!"

You couldn't help but blush and be embarrassed with a declaration like that. "Thanks Aya."

"Anyway, how was your date? You told me you were trying to find Fujiko right? Was it fun?" Then, the two of you start to tell each other about your day.

"Hmm it's a bit busy, plus something happened that cancelled the date."

"Ah, I'm sorry to hear that... But relieved at the same time." She lets out a laugh.

"How about you? How was the support group? Why did you decide to join one anyway?" Was Aya changing?

"Hmm... I guess it's because I don't want to keep depending on you. I thought it would be the best way to meet other people and not be so lonely." Your initial feeling was right. Aya wanted to change. Aya wanted to become more independent. "It was fun! I think I'll keep going... Plus there's a cool looking guy in there!"

You look at her with a skeptical look. "Are you trying to make me jealous?"

Aya looks at you while she tries to hold back her smile. "Hmm it depends... Is it working?"

You try and make it look like you were deep in thought. "Hmmm..." Then, you excuse yourself suddenly as you run to the vending machine.

"Wait! Ryu!? Where are you going Ryu!?" She was panicking quite a bit so you made it quick. You get yourself and Aya some snacks.

"Oh really? Does this cool kid have any delicious snacks to offer you?"

Aya just stares at you. Then, she looks down on the snacks. Then she stares back up at you. "Ah, you are so silly Ryu!" Unfortunately for Aya, her body doesn't seem to agree with her. Her stomach grumbles as she blushes.

"Aya? Have you eaten dinner yet?"

Aya just embarrasedly shakes her head no. "Not yet... I was too busy so..."

Looking around, you were alone at that rooftop.

"Hmm... You are probably tired of hospital food right?" You ask Aya as she nods yes. "I'll be right back then. I'll get us some delicious food to eat and we can eat here."

Aya's eyes widen with shock. "E-Eh!? You'll eat here?"

"Well... Aren't you going to go back to Fujiko?"

Now that you thought of it, Fujiko is probably at her house. Although she didn't say she would wait for you, she is probably waiting. "It's fine." You tell her. "I'll just visit her later."

"Then... Then I'll wait for you here then." It's the first time in a week that you ate with her so she looked incredibly excited and happy.

"Hmm, I'll be right back!" You head out of the hospital and you head to the nearest restaurant so you can get some nice food for Aya.

Once the food was ready you start to head back to the hospital. However, on your to the hospital you notice someone that looked like Fujiko pass you by. "Wait... Is that Fujiko?"

You try and call out to her but she was like a ghost. Moments after you saw her she disappears, mixing into the crowd. "It can't be... Fujiko is waiting for me at her house..."
