Just as he leaves, Aya starts to wake-up. She must've been roused by the conversation between you and Ryu. Slowly, she opens her eyes. "Yo! Aya! How are you feeling? Are you feeling better?"

"Ryu... You were able to see me today after all." Aya's eyes looked tired and exhausted. Her sickness must have taken quite a toll on her body. "I'm feeling better now that I got to see you." She smiles a warm smile towards you. "Have you been here for long? I don't know what it was but I felt like someone was here keeping me company the whole time..."

"Hey Aya... How do you feel ab-" At first you wanted to confirm if she really had feelings for Makoto. However, you didn't know what you would do if she said yes.

"Feel about what?" She tilts her head like a confused puppy.

"Ah, sorry, I meant how are you feeling? Feeling any better?" You walk up to her and you sit down beside her. You use your hand and you put it on her forehead.

She tenses up as you got closer to her. Her face turns red when you touch her. "I-I'm feeling better... My fever has gone down too..."

"Has it?" She still felt quite warm to the touch. But if she says it's gone down then there was no reason to doubt her.
"Hmm... I'm feeling way better now that you are here." Seeing her smile sets your heart at ease.

"If she can smile like that then she should be okay." You whisper under your breath.

"Jeez... So mean..." Aya puffs her cheeks in frustration. "Ah, tomorrow you'll stop by too right? She lets out a small laugh. She looked really excited at the prospect of wandering outside with you tomorrow.

"Ah... Yeah... That's right..." She whispers to herself. Aya wipes the tears away from her eyes. Then she takes a deep breath to calm herself down. "I probably shouldn't be hanging around you too much now that you have a girlfriend..."

"You are a nice guy Ryu... That's what I love about you..." She smiles a melancholic smile. She takes a deep breath. "I'll try my best to keep my distance from you from now on." Immediately, you realize she misunderstood something. "That's probably why right? She is probably jealous..." Aya probably thought you and Fujiko fought because you've been hanging around her too much. "I don't want to strain your relationship with her..." She must've thought that the situation you were talking about earlier was Fujiko asking you to not hang out with Aya so much. "I'll try my best alone..." She then grabs onto your sleeve. "But... Can I ask you for a favour?"

"Starting tomorrow... You don't have to come... But for tonight, is it okay for you to stay with me just for a little bit longer? I... I just want to be with you for just a bit longer? please?" Aya smiles as her eyes start to water. It almost felt like she was saying goodbye to you.

Hearing you say that relieves Aya a bit. You feel her arms wrap around you as well. "Then... I'll wait for that time..." It was the first time in a while that you've felt this close to Aya. She was right, for the past few days, you feel that there is a certain gap that has continually grown between the two of you.

Once the two of you calm down and pull back from the embrace you were giving each other, Aya asks you again. "Are you going home soon? Is it okay if you stay here for awhile? We don't have to talk or anything... I just want to be with you for a little longer before we stop seeing each other for a bit..."

I heard it... I heard you say that you wanted to protect me." She was flustered but she looked happy. In fact Fujiko's lips couldn't stop smiling. "It made me extremely happy to hear you say that..."

"R-Really?" Thankfully, Fujiko didn't seem too bothered by seeing you embrace your childhood friend. "Aren't you a bit you know..." You lean in to whisper into her ear. "Jealous to see me hug Aya?"

She shakes her head. "Not really... Well, I am a bit jealous but, I have to stop myself from feeling like that." She nods her head. "Yeah... I decided... People who are important to Ryu should be important to me too... Plus you said you wanted to protect me so I don't mind it." Fujiko was quite a simple woman. She was able to overlook you hugging another girl just because you said that you wanted to protect her.

"Eh! What do you mean!" She gasps in shock as the two of you start to head back to her house. "You know you looked really cool when you said that!" She starts to swoon. "I felt like I was falling in love with you again... I... I just had to kiss you."

You start to laugh. You were so scared that her jealousy would put Aya in danger that you never thought she would be appeased by such a simple statement. "Ah... Fujiko... You are so cute..."

Oh your way out you decide to give her a reward. Even though you had the feeling that Fujiko hated change from before from her past experiences, right now she was changing. She was changing after falling in love with you. "I need to get her something." It didn't have to be big, or grand. You knew that she would be happy to get anything from you, and you were right.

"Here you go Fujiko." The two of you stopped by the gift shop so you can buy her the cellphone strap she was staring at so intently before.

Her eyes widen with shock as she gasps. "W-What is this for?" She grabs the strap as she stares at it with eye that looked like they were in awe.

"I just wanted to give my girlfriend a gift, that's all." You smile back at her. "I don't need a reason other than that right."

Immediately, Fujiko pounces on you and wraps her arms around you. "I'm going to treasure this Ryu! I'm going to treasure this and protect it with my life!" As the two of you leave the hospital she starts to cling to you once again. "I love you so much Ryu."

For the next few days it would feel like you and Fujiko were both married. The two of you would spend pretty much every minute of every day together.

In the morning you would wake up with Fujiko beside you in bed. At school you would try your best to teach her how to soialize. "Ah... It's a bit hard to explain Fujiko but it's better to just read the flow of conversation instead of just talking about me all the time..."

Then, after school, the two of you would walk together back to her house and spend the rest of the day together. Of course sometimes she would go with you to your house to help you clean up a bit. This became your routine for your daily life. Fujiko was a great girl so you didn't mind it at all.

Then, during one of the rare moments you and Fujiko separated at school, you join a few of your friends as they huddled around in a circle in the classroom. "Yo!" You greet them.

I'll lend this to you if you want." Turning it around, you saw that it was a book about shibari. "This should help you out behind bedroom doors with Fujiko!"

"I-I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry." You laugh awkwardly. "But... if you are letting me borrow it then I'll gladly take your offer." You bow to your friend before taking the pocketbook from him. "Thanks."

Then, the lunch bell rings signalling the end of lunch time and the beginning of afternoon classes. You couldn't wait to try out some of the things in that book with Fujiko. "I'm sure if I just ask nicely Fujiko would do it."

As people pour back into your classroom, you start to fantasize about what you will do with Fujiko later that day. "Ah, did you see that?" However, your fantasies were interrupted as you overhear your classmates start to murmur about Fujiko. "I can't believe Fujiko went with an older looking guy... You wait for Fujiko to get back to your classroom. Your heart keeps racing as time passes by without any sign of Fujiko. We have not been ignoring Aya more than nessecary. Our gf is Fujiko, and she's in actual danger right now. Strong independent woman my ass, she's trying to stop Yandere'ing, and for that she needs us.
