"T-Thank you so much Ryu!" At this point, you knew that doing this will only band-aid the situation. You knew that if her parents really wanted to take her away they will just find her and take her away. However, you still needed to find out whether or not Fujiko is okay. This band-aid situation is the best you can do. "I'll wait for you then."

Once she hangs up the phone, you try and text Fujiko multiple times while you head over to the hospital to pick Aya up. On the third text she finally responds.

"Ah, sorry for not letting you know sooner Ryu. I'm meeting up with my brother right now. Hopefully I can talk him into understanding that I love you. Wait for me later with the good news!" Her text looked optimistic. She sounded incredibly confident that she can change her brother's mind. So why did you feel a pit on your stomach like something bad was about to happen to Fujiko?

Although you hate leaving Fujiko alone, you couldn't just leave Aya alone, especially with what's coming to her. "I have to help Aya right now... I'm sure Fujiko can handle himself." You make a tough decision. You decide to leave Fujiko alone for now and go to Aya. You wish her luck.

"Good luck Fujiko... IF anything happens. ANYTHING at all. Text me back okay?" You send her a text back.

The last text she sends you that day would be, "I will. I'll see you at my house later." The whole way to the hospital, your mind was distracted. Your mind kept wandering on what is happening with Fujiko right now.

"She should be alright... She has her knife so she should be okay..." You murmur to yourself to make yourself feel better but you remember her saying she has never really beaten her brother before. "I'm sure she will be alright!"

When you finally get to the hospital, it was time for you to sneak Aya out. You had to take a route to Aya's room that you don't usually take. Then, when you get to her room, you knock on her room once or twice before going inside. However, you got there to an empty room. "Aya? Are you still here?" Were you too late? Did her parents get there faster than you?

Your heart starts to race. "No... That can't be... She said they are coming tonight... I'm still early..."

Then, you hear the door to her restroom creak open. "R-Ryu? Is that you?"

"Aya!" Her eyes were puffy and red. Just as she sounded, she looked just like she has just been crying. Seeing her like that pains you as well. "How are you doing? Are you okay?"

"I'm doing better now..." She wipes her tears away as she nods. "I'm glad you are here..."

"Hmm... Thanks for coming." She looked relieved. It was almost as if she thought you wouldn't come for her. You help her pack her things to make it go faster but as you expected, she didn't have much to pack. It took about ten minutes for her to pack her things and once you were finished, it was time to sneak her out.

"Alright... Now comes the hard part..." You make her change into casual clothes. "It'll probably be easier if you look like you were about to head home and just got released."

"T-That's true... I'll change out of my hospital gown." Going into the restroom again, she changes. Once she has changed and was out of the restroom, the two of you head downstairs to the lobby.

The whole way there you kept trying to calm yourself down. "It's going to be okay... Nobody is going to stop us." You whisper to yourself over and over again.

"S-Sorry for bothering you like this Ryu..." You hear Aya whisper. "Even after you told me about what is happening with you and Fujiko..."

"It's okay Aya." You tell her with a smile.

"But! I'm... I'm sorry..." She looks up to you. For a split second you could see how desperate she was. "I just didn't have anyone to turn to..." Unfortunately, this was her reality. For the two to three years she has left home, she really hasn't made close friends outside of you. "Sorry... I did bad..."

"I'm sure she will. Whoever I find important, she finds important too. I know Fujiko won't mind letting you stay with me for a bit."

"I see... She is a nice girl huh?" Aya whispers once again. "I guess it couldn't be helped that you fell for her." She looks up to you again, this time she had a forced smile on her face.

"Hmm, she is great." Thanks to Fujiko acting down and you comforting her, you start to calm down a bit. Whats more is that you were able to sneak her out so easily. You never expected it to be that easy. "We are almost out Aya... Just relax okay?"

"Hmm..." Even Aya looked tense and nervous. Her body looked stiff. Her eyes looked nervous. "You can do this Aya... You can do this." She whispers to herself over and over.

Thankfully, even though Aya was easy to read, nobody questioned the two of you as you walk out. It was surprisingly easy to sneak a patient out of a hospital, as long as you look don't look suspicious. "W-We made it..." Aya whispers.

"We aren't in the clear yet Aya." You tell her. "We aren't in the clear until we get to the bus stop." Once on the bus, the two of you can finally relax.

"Thank goodness that worked..." Aya whispers under her breath. "It's been awhile since I last came out..."

"Ah, that's right..." All this time Aya has been cooped up in the hospital. Now that you think about it, most of Aya's life she has spent inside a cage, whether it was her house back in the countryside, or the hospital now. Even now, you are taking her to your house to hide. Looking over to her, you saw how excited her eyes were. For the first time in a while, Aya has finally stepped foot outside of the hospital compound.

For a split second, you felt like you should take Aya out in some sort of date. "Maybe... Maybe I should take her out somewhere fun to keep her mind off things..." However, you remember about Fujiko. "No! I can't!" You can't just mess around while Fujiko is confronting her brother. You remember Fujiko's terrified face when you told her you met her brother. "I can't just have fun while she is confronting her biggest fear..."

You look over to Aya as you whisper an apology. "Sorry... I can't go with you today."

"Hmm? What was that?" Aya looks over as she barely hears you.

"Ah, it's nothing." You tell her with a smile. "Are you tired Aya? If you want you can sleep on my shoulder."

"Hmm, I'm okay. I'm not tired at all." Aya still had a hesitant and nervous smile on her face. "Being outside of that hospital kinda made me feel more energetic..." Little by little, the hesitant look in her eyes start to go away only to be replaced with an excited look. "Ah! I know! Do you want to go out somewhere? I haven't been out in town for a while."

"Sorry Aya! I want to go... But I have to do something after I drop you off at home."

When you apologize to her, the hesitant and anxious look returns to her eyes. "R-Really? No need to apologize! I'm the one imposing on you after all..." She smiles awkwardly. "Hmm... Do you mind if I ask where you are going?" You could tell that she just wanted to spend time with you. "I-Is it okay if I go?"

"Ah sorry Aya..." You try and explain to her what was happening. "It's just Fujiko is trying to confront her incestious brother right now and possibly things might get out of hand so it might not be the greatest idea to come with me."

Aya just laughs as if you were telling her a joke. To her it must've sounded like you were trying to lie to be alone with Fujiko. "Eh? What was that? That sounds like a crazy drama." Aya then smiles to you. "But I think I can understand. Fujiko probably doesn't like it when I interrupt a date."

"No, it's not that. I really am telling the truth!" You try and tell her and explain. However, Aya just passes it off as an excuse to be alone with Fujiko. The rest of the way was quite uneventful. After you rejected Aya's request of going out to the city and going with you to pick up Fujiko.

Once you arrive at your house, you drop Aya off. "Just wait here for me okay?"

"Hmm" Aya nods her head. "I'll wait here..." She looked excited to be at your house. "Wow... I haven't been here for awhile... It feels like so much has changed." She tells you with a smile.

"Eh nothing much has changed really." You tell her. "Anyways, give me a call if anything happens okay?" You tell Aya before you head out.

"I will." She gives you a smile. "Anyways, have fun on your date!" She wishes you to have fun as she bids you farewell.

You felt hesitant to leave her like that. You didn't feel good at all leaving her alone. However, you couldn't help it. 'Hmm, take care!" Once you leave your house, you now had to find Fujiko. "Hmm where should I look for her first?" You try and think of where she could be.

"I should just ask her." You whisper to yourself as you head over to her house. You give her a quick text as you walk over to her house. When you arrive at her house however, there was no one there. You knock on her door, you ring her doorbell, nothing worked.

"Fujiko? Are you there?" You call out to her multiple times. "Fujiko?" After you wait at her house for about fifteen minutes you check her phone. "Odd... She hasn't responded back to me yet..." It was very unlike Fujiko to not respond to you. Usually, she would've responded within 3 minutes or less. "She is talking to her brother..." You thought to yourself. She might be incredibly busy right now.

However, the more you wait the more restless you felt. Finally, you decide to give her a call after your third text goes unanswered. "I hope she is okay..."

To your surprise, she answers her phone. "Fujiko! Are you okay? Where are you? Let's meet up."

"Is this Ryu?" However, it wasn't her. It was a voice that you've only heard once. It was her brother's voice.

"Yeah..." You thought it was odd that her brother would answer her phone like that. "Is Fujiko around? Is it okay if I talk to her?"

"Ah, sorry Ryu but Fujiko isn't feeling well right now... She is sleeping so call back later okay?"

You felt something off. Even just talking through the phone with her brother, you could feel just how much he was trying to push you out.

"Ah really? I knew she was feeling a bit off... I have some medicine for her so would you mind telling me where she is?" You ask him.

Unfortunately, it didn't work. "It's okay Ryu. I can take care of her from now on. You don't have to worry about her." You felt a pang when he said those words. Did you feel jealous? Is this how Fujiko feels whenever she sees you with Aya?

You couldn't help yourself. "Eh? But she is my girlfriend. She is my lover. I need to take care of her." You start to taunt her brother.

"L-Lover?" He lets out a laugh but underneath that laugh, you could tell he was about to explode. "Did you touch her? Did you sully my pure Fujiko?" Slowly, he becomes unhinged. "I will never forgive you if I find out you did do anything to her... Fujiko is mine you hear that? She is mine both her body and her soul. You poisoned her mind against me didn't you?! Is this why she was telling me to leave? Did you make her go against me with your vile words?!"

Then in the background, you hear the door open. Then, you hear someone call out to him. "Onii-sama? Who are you talking to?" It was Fujiko's voice. "Why are you using my phone?"

"It's no one. Let's continue our talk okay Fujiko?" You hear him tell your girlfriend.

"Sure... You told me that if I listen to your one request you won't do anything to Ryu right? You told me if I just listen to you talk you won't hurt him right?"

"Yeah. This is my one and only request so let's have tea and talk okay?" He then talks to you again. "Just forget about Fujiko, she is going to break up with you. She doesn't love you anymore."

Right before he hangs up, you heard a crucial clue from Fujiko. "Hmm, your office is pretty empty today huh? Did you send all your secretary ho-"

Those were the last words you heard before the line cuts off. Immediately, you felt like Fujiko was in danger. "I have to find her fast..." However, before you go, you had to prepare. Taking out your wallet, you take out the business card her brother gave you before. "Thanks Fujiko..." She doesn't know how much she helped you track her down as you look down on the address on the business card.
