A small trolley with a simple cat eared plate rolls over to me out of it. And sitting on top of it, is a single golden Balaclava, dripping with syrup and heavy cream. And, right in the center of it, is a beating heart of frosting and cherry sauce.

I grin widely, as I fall down and sigh in relief. Vera leans back and laughs madly, her twin joining her as their aunt tosses the dragon's leg across the room like a toy.
