It really is too early for fighting. You know your family can handle themselves so you should focus on your current situation.

“Just to be fair, this is Cecilia's house. And she did finance the entire trip without any complaint.” you matter of factly state.

Cecilia puffs up with pride at your words.

“Sure, all of you want to sneak in when given the chance. It's almost as if each of you were tired of waiting for me.” you continue. “What's it called Houki, yobai is it?” you ask with a small teasing smile starting to show.

“W-W-What?” Houki asks, shocked to a complete standstill.

“It's almost as all of you are expecting me to commit yobai each and every night.” you say, your grin in full view.

You would reach over to Houki to tease her a bit more intimately but Laura and Cecilia flank you again. Houki is blushing furiously while Cecilia doesn't understand the word. Charlotte looks at Laura with a questioning look. And Rin, across from you, is desperately trying to ignore you while her cheeks turn a little red.

“There is no need to sneak into my bed John. We are husband and wife.” Laura tells you while leaning against you affectionately.

“What does that mean yobai is?” Charlotte asks Laura in confusion, waiting for her answer.

“Correct, yobai is Japanese for night crawling or when the man sneaking into a girl's room to make her his. Clarissa also told me it is one of the few instances that such a thing has it's own word.” Laura explains.

As if on cue, Cecilia and Houki immediately turn away from you, obviously blushing and embarrassed. Charlotte sees their reactions and then something clicks in her mind.

“John,” Charlotte begins to ask, “Did you do something that would warrant such a reaction?”

“Nothing I wouldn't do with you.” you answer smoothly while smiling.

“Is that so.” Charlotte replies as she smiles.

She continues to smile but reaches to you and begins to pinch your cheek.

“Charlotte?” you ask as clearly as you can.

“Yes?” Charlotte asks in return sweetly but with almost an air of annoyance in the back of her voice.

“You can let go.” you reply.

Charlotte's only reply is to pinch your cheek harder. You're pretty sure she is angry. There is only one way you can think of to soothe her anger.

You get up from your seat, slipping away from Charlotte's pinch. You then position yourself between Houki and Charlotte just so you can push back Charlotte's chair just enough.

“Like I said before, nothing I wouldn't do with you.” you say just before you pick up Charlotte in your arms so you can easily have her sit in your lap.

Quickly sliding your arms around Charlotte's waist so she can't escape. She tries to feebly get up but you keep your arms around her.

Charlotte starts to pout a little bit before saying “Fine.” and begins using you as her backrest.

“Say ahhhh.” Laura tells you as she feeds you a piece of toast.

“Ahh” you say as Laura stick the toast in your mouth.

“Not again.” Cecilia says as she gets up from her seat and tries to feed you some breakfast.

Houki tries to join in before Rin interrupts everyone.

“Can you all just stop flirting and finish breakfast in peace for once.” Rin tells you all, frustrated and annoyed.

Charlotte relents with a sigh. The six of you quietly finish breakfast or at least you would have if you could reach your plate. With breakfast done, all of you try to figure out what to do next.

“What about that cafe you were talking about? At least you won't make a fool of yourself in public.” Rin says while looking at you.

“That cafe sounds pleasant but I must say, I am quite tired from yesterday.” Cecilia replies with a slightly fatigued voice.

“Relaxing on the beach is nice but we've been doing that since we got here. I'm worried I'll get rusty.” Houki says, worried about not being able to practice kendo.

“See, that is why I would have slept in until lunch. If it weren't for all the noise.” Rin comments.

“Why don't we check up on John's family? They may have something they want to do.” Charlotte suggests.

“What good news are you talking about Cecilia?” Laura, Houki, Charlotte and Rin ask in unison.

“Well, you know...” Cecilia tries to say as she flounders under their gazes.

You gently pick up Charlotte and get up. You place her back in her chair before you move over to your clothes and begin changing.

“What kind of pervert are you changing in front of us?” Rin yells out, trying to cover her eyes but failing completely.

“Getting out of my pajamas so we can meet up with Grandpa.” you answer.

“You're avoiding the question again John.” Charlotte states as they are all watching you change.

“And what question would that be?” you ask as you stretch a bit before putting on a clean polo shirt.

“The good news Cecilia was talking about.” Charlotte says, still pressing the issue.

“How about the good news that you get to all watch me change.” you reply with a tease.

Charlotte takes a quick look at the other girls watching you change and just shrugs her shoulders in defeat.

After you finish changing, you tell them, “I'll call Grandpa to find out where he is while you all get ready.”

They all nod and begin to leave your room. You follow them out in the hallway to wait for them. While waiting, you call up Grandpa on your codec. After an unusual amount of rings, Grandpa picks up on his end.

“RAPTOR SNAKE, we're a bit busy here.” Grandpa states over the codec.

“Did the plan fail?” you ask in a low voice.

“Not quite. Liquid and Paz got into an argument before the plan could be implied. So right now, Big Snake and Solid are trying to stop them from fighting.” Grandpa answers as you facepalm. “ Right now Solid is holding down Liquid so he doesn't hijack one of the Hind-Ds here. While Big Snake is preventing Paz from getting her hands on any weapons or a METAL GEAR.” Grandpa finishes.

“So meeting up with you is no good.” you reply over the codec.

“Actually, if you link up with Olga and bring her here, she should help calm Paz down.” Grandpa tells you.

“Roger.” you answer crisply.

“Good. Take your time while I get them presentable over here.” Grandpa replies as he ends the codec call.

You sigh after you put away the codec. Just what did Uncle Eli say to your mom? At least you haven't heard any explosions or shooting. You quietly pass the time waiting for everyone to get ready. Laura and Houki are the first to join you. Followed by Rin and Cecilia. Once Charlotte arrives to the group, you head off for Uncle Ota and Aunt Olga's room. Sunny is right next door so it would be easy have her join you.

A quick stroll later, you knock on Uncle Ota's room. Aunt Olga answers the door.

“John, I did not expect all of you to see us early in the morning. What do I owe the pleasure?” Aunt Olga greets you as she motions you to enter the room.

Inside, Uncle Ota has Sunny sitting in his lap as they play around on a tablet PC they brought with them.

“Hey John. And Cecilia. And Charlotte. And Houki. And Rin. And Laura.” Sunny greets you. “It was easier when I was the only girl you knew.” Sunny adds with a slight frown.

Uncle Ota was about to open his mouth before Aunt Olga interrupts with, “Don't.”

He winches in defeat before replying, “But it's true.”

“I don't care. It will set a bad example for Sunny.” Aunt Olga counters flatly.

“Are you playing a game together?” Charlotte asks Sunny and Uncle Ota.

“No, we are trying out my encryption.” Sunny answers shyly.

“It's a massive improvement over over the standard one I use for remote operation. It just fills me with pride that Sunny is so talented.” Uncle Ota says not even trying to conceal the pride in his voice.

“Really? That's amazing.” Charlotte says, praising Sunny.

“The amazing thing is that Sunny's the most normal person related to you. She actually has some common sense.” Rin comments as she gently elbows you in the ribs.

“Remote operation? As in drone use?” Cecilia asks.

“Correct. I may be an expert in mechatronics but remote operation of drones is something I've expanded into.” Uncle Ota beings to answer.

As Uncle Ota begins a long diatribe on his scientific knowledge, you lean over to Aunt Olga.

In a low voice so only she hears, “Mom and Uncle Eli are at it again. Looks like they got in a fight and Grandpa asked me to bring you to help defuse the situation.”

Aunt Olga hangs her head before muttering to herself in Russian. She then walks over to her bag and places something in her purse.

“Shall we go?” Aunt Olga asks you.

“Grandpa said we can take our time.” you answer.

Aunt Olga nods as the two of you rejoin the conversation.

“Well, that is just our secret.” Cecilia answers with a smile.

“A shame. I want to see how John has improved his autonomous drone ideas.” Uncle Ota laments.

“That's not fair at all.” Laura says, angry at you.

“I know.” Rin says as she looks at you, “You're my partner and you don't even help me out when it comes to upgrades.”

“You do realize that both of our governments would salivate while trying to back stab each other if we shared some tech.” you flatly deny Rin.

Rin sighs as she says, “That is true but once words gets out about your second shift, everyone will want your data.”

“Please don't remind me.” you say as you feel bad for the work Walken with get drowned in.

“John. You should help me with designing upgrades for my Schwarzer Regen.” Laura demands.

“No. He's my partner so I should be first.” Rin counters.

They both turn to you to decide who gets priority.

“What are you talking about? As your wife, I should take priority.” Laura states loudly.

“You aren't even married. So as his partner, I should be first.” Rin counters angrily.

They both stare at each other angrily.

“It's not like I can have you arm wrestle to decide.” you say sarcastically.

“You're on.” Rin replies, completely missing your sarcasm.

“I will not lose.” Laura counters, moving over to the table to arm wrestle.

“Stop, stop, stop.” you say as you prevent them from starting.

“Flipping a coin is fair. But I will not have either of you interfere with the time John spends on my Blue Tears.” Cecilia tells them.

Laura and Rin turn to Cecilia and stare daggers at her.

“Why not try amidakuji?” Houki asks with an innocent expression.

“I'm wearing my lucky color today. It's my win.” Rin proudly states.

Laura can only stare in anger at Rin.

“Why not just play a 2 player game and winner gets John's help first?” Sunny suggests.

Sunny quickly taps away at her tablet before handing it over to Rin. Uncle Ota does the same and hands his off to Laura.

“I'll have you know I was top of my class in the simulators back in Germany.” Laura states as she looks on at the game.

“Let me guess, 300 confirmed kills.” Rin shoots back sarcastically.

Oce the tablets connect to each other over wifi the games begin.

As Rin and Laura face off, it starts off with Rin quickly in the lead. Frustrated at the controls, Laura demands a switch in the game. Rin agrees, confident in her skill. In the second game, Laura was able to keep up at first before Rin figures out Laura's strategy and easily trounces her. Soon enough Laura's frustration at the game colors her face. Before Laura breaks the tablet in frustration, you end the match.

“Sorry Laura, but it looks like Rin beat you.” you state as you look at the scores.

“My win.” Rin proclaims as she stands proud.

Laura can only look in frustration.

“That means when we get back the Academy, you have to upgrade something for my Shenlong.” Rin demands, “And it has to be super cool.”

“I know, I know. That was the prize.” you reply in agreement.

“John is quick when it comes machines so he'll have no problem helping you. It's nice when he helps me with maintaining my Raphael Revive.” Charlotte informs Rin.

“Oh, right. Charlotte has a spot in the same hanger as you, John.” Houki remembers out loud. “While I may not have a hanger spot for my Akatsubaki, I hope there is enough room for me to do maintenance side by side with your Maeve.” Houki adds.

“I don't mind but we will probably have to work things out with the Academy and Walken first.” you reply.

“It's a deal.” Houki says with a smile.

Laura's frustration peaks as she stands up angrily and angrily pulls out her phone. She furiously punches in a number and waits.

Hearing a reply, Laura quickly demands in German, “Clarissa, I need your help. I lost a match where the prize is having my wife help upgrade my Schwarzer Regen.”

Laura listens intently to the other side as Sunny and Uncle Ota react to Aunt Olga telling them to get ready to go outside. Aunt Olga nods at you, informing you that Grandpa has everything cleaned up on his end.

Less angry but still frustrated as she continues to listen to the other side until she orders, “SEND EVERYONE!”

You could almost hear the other side yelling at Laura before she amends her order, “Send who you can. We can call it and officer transfer training with the Americans.”

Another pause as Laura listens. Everyone else is looking strangely at Laura, waiting for her to finish.

“The five of them are acceptable. Make sure you are among them.” Laura finishes just before she hangs up.

She then turns to you and points, “You will have a hanger spot available to me or I will anschluss the entirety of your maintenance area. “

“There's more than enough room you know.” you calmly state.

“Good, because I will be having part of my unit with me as backup.“ Laura adds, still pointing at you.

“I hope Ms Foss enjoys the company.” you now remember, since you were trying to forget about her.

Laura and Houki slightly wince while Charlotte lets out a nervous laugh.

With everything settled, Aunt Olga leads the group to where the rest of your family is. Past the enclosed tennis courts, two Mi-24 Hind-Ds are parked at the helo landing zone. No obvious battle damage but each of the Hind-Ds have their pilots inside the cockpit with their eyes firmly on the canopy locks. Uncle Eli is pinned under Uncle David next to one of the Hind-Ds while your Mom is being held back by your Dad. Uncle Eli and your Mom are currently staring at each other, probing for a weakness.

Aunt Olga, immediately goes to your Mom and being talking to each other.

Grandpa approaches your group before saying, “They were going easy on each other.”

“At least nothing happened.” you comment.

Grandpa just gives you a poker face stare.

As you watch Aunt Olga defuse the situation between your Mom and Uncle Eli, Cecilia comes up to you and leans heavily on your arm.

“Looks like my legs are still weak.” Cecilia whispers to you.

“Grandfather, what were they arguing about?” Charlotte asks, concerned.

“Eli wanted to pilot the everyone would ride a helicopter to the main island for the day. Paz wanted to take Cecilia's private yacht instead. Things only got more heated from there.” Grandpa explains.

“A helicopter ride?” Houki asks, interested at the prospect.

“Don't get too excited, Eli doesn't have the best track record when it comes flying a Hind.” Grandpa answers.

“Oh.” Houki replies, deflated.

“Grandpa why don't we ask your buddy when we get back home to fly Houki and I around in his heli?” you suggest.

“If she wants to, I can arrange it.” Grandpa replies after a little time in thought.

“It's a date.” Houki says happily.

Cecilia lightly pinches your arm in jealousy.

“I have something else in mind for you.” you whisper to Cecilia.

Cecilia pulls your arm closer to her soft bosom to show she agrees.

Aunt Olga returns to say to your Grandpa, “We'll just have to override Eli and take the yacht to the main island. He won't be happy but it's the safest route.”

Grandpa sighs at the prospect.

“Then I will have to have Chelsea rent us a limousine there. I am not currently in the condition to walk.” Cecilia states with a touch of tiredness in her voice.

“I have a fix for that.” Uncle Eli says, now free of Uncle David's hold. “I've seen your limousine. It can easily fit in a Diamond Dog's Mi-26. I can fly it over while you all ride inside.” Uncle Eli explains.

“You mean while we take Cecilia's yacht to town.” Aunt Olga corrects.

“Either way, I get to fly and you get your ride in town.” Uncle Eli replies.

“That is acceptable. I'll have Chelsea immediately prepare the limousine.” Cecilia says, happy at the turn of events.

No one has any real objection to the new plan.

“You will love the cafe John. It was the only place my mother and father got along in. I am sure it will be perfect for the two of us.” Cecilia tells you with a smile as she leans just a bit more on you.
