In the meantime, you decide to chat with Shirou a little. You don't actually make much leeway with her, because she has more guard duty today.

You wait for Baratsuchi at the mall before six, wearing something more casual than last night, but still more formal than your usual fare. As always when she shoes up, Baratsuchi is dressed to the nines, a red high-collared, long-sleeved dress that comes to her mid-thighs in the front and her feet in the back, thick red leggings, and shiny white shoes.

She finds two frilly coats for herself, as well as a parasol. When you're almost done shopping, she asks you if you want anything for yourself.

The next morning, you wake up home alone again. You figure that's fine as you don't really want to confront either of your female relations this early.

You spend the day watching the news, learning of the Leader of the Hidden Waterfall; and by extension, the Seven Tails' deaths, and some other, less major things.

You head to your training with Irei-sensei a few minutes before you're due to meet him, but take a different route.

You tell him that's okay, and get to training.

At this stage in your training, you're working on maintaining a cloak around your body, not quite a chakra cloak yet, more like a small Susano'o. You're able to form a small construct of an upper body around yourself, a few feet taller than you. It greatly increases your reach and defense, though you can't use it while casting other jutsu. Your water and starch clones can't use it either.

A few hours into your training, a girl a few years older than you shows up, you would guess a few years younger than Irei-sensei.

Irei doesn't notice her, as she's standing behind him, well within your field of view.

She's an Uchiha, now that you have a better look at her, with medium-length black hair and a skin tone not unlike your sister's. Her non-sharingan eyes are violet, and have noticealbe bags.

She sighs, "That's alright Irei, I had a mission so I couldn't be there in time," she looks down at the ground, toeing it gingerly. "I'll see you afterwards then." She's fidgiting and doesn't make eye contact the whole time she's there.

When she's gone, Irei wants to get started again.

This quest is set within the universe of Naruto, long after the end of the series, but ignoring the events of the Boruto Manga. Of course, because this is Naruto we're talking about, the geopolitics and technology haven't advanced as quickly as they would in the real world. As such, the technology is similar to that of Boruto the Movie, and the villages you know and love are largely the same.


However, the characters will be less familiar, because as much time has passed between the Last and now as passed between the Founding of the Hidden Villages and the Main Series.


You are playing as Kuro Nijiiroh, a Hidden Leaf Chunin of twelve years. You’re a member of Hōōmaru Tachibana’s Team Seven, along with your teammates, Hakurin Hyuga, and Jimmaru ████ Uchiha. Your family consists of your older sister, an ANBU Black Ops, Shirou; your mother, the restaurateur Ki; and your father, a Hand Seals Specializing Tokubetsu Jounin.
