The walk is tense. Longer than it has ever been. Flashing back to your dream you are hit with overwhelming dread and unease. Pulling your phone from your pocket you dial Sasukes phone to assure that everything is going well. Seems as though something is wrong as your call refuses to connect. Odd... This strange event puts you much more on edge as you continue walking.

Your fears are soon put to rest as you hear your friend approaching with his brother Abel. "Ay Mike, tried to call but it wouldn't go through. Shits broke yo." He laughs as he catches up to you.

Having your friend there is great. Your fears and doubts leave your mind as you recall the power that the nervous boy before you holds. The two of you talk on your walk to the school about your plans and other concerns. Which you and him take turns in dispelling the others fears. You arrive at the street lining Western half of your schoolground and find your way to a nice dark alleyway. While you wait you take note of the street and the buildings around it. You take note of several other dark alleys, some fire hydrants, and note that the buildings in the area are mostly 2-3 stories.

"Mike look" Sasuke whispers to you.

Pointing down the street you see the silhouette of two men and above them, a small bird. "That must be them. But who is the second figure?" you say

"Mike man, what if it goes wrong? What if we lose? I-I can go back to not having Abel I can't..." Sasukes breathing is getting heavy, and his knees are trembling slightly.

The peoples faces are hidden by the glare of the sun over their shoulders as they walk down the street. They are still a good distance away and walking slowly towards the four of you.

Leaving a small parrot flying circles above the man as he walks down the street. Everything tells you that this is the man and this is your target.

"Mike are you ready?" Your friend asks

You look to Dizzy. She seems nervous about the situation. "Remember Dizzy, we are doing this to protect not only ourselves but also all our friends. Kana, Sam, Abel, Sauske, and each other."

Dizzy looks to you. "Mhm! I'll do my best for everyone."

"Abel, bro. We are gonna make it out of this. Just like Mike said, this is for everyone. Be sure to do your best to protect Dizzy out there, and show um our good side eh!" The pair fistbumps and get back in position.

"I'll circle around his back and go for the book. You draw his attention, okay?"

Sasuke seems concerned about being alone but he agrees. You make your way to the back of the alley. As you look back Sasuke is activating his first spell and rushing out to engage the pair.

You begin to run toward the far end of the alley, the sounds of battle only yards away are clear as the sound of violent winds assault your ears. Your run continues to reach the end of the alley way. You round another corner in the alley, from what you recall this location will be right behind Angel and his Demon. Looking from behind a corner you confirm that Angel is but only yards from you.

Looking at the battle you see that things are looking rough for Abel. He is already using his second spell, the blade armor and trying his hardest to hit the parrot that is continuously blasting him with gusts of wind, throwing him back to the ground every time.

You prepare to rush out and help Abel and Sasuke

"Well, well. Lookie here. Seems as if our buddy Mike has a fresh new team and forgot about little ol me." You hear from behind.

Looking back into the alley you see nothing. "What's wrong Mike? Didn't expect to hear from me here? Yeah I'm surprised to I must admit."

You recognize the voice "Alek?! What are you doing here? That is you right?" you call out.

"Well what's his name made me an offer I couldn't refuse. No matter how well I can lied, that woman saw through my shtick, and if it weren't for some good misplaced paranoia I'd be in big jail right now. Said that if I shadow his new guy he could get me out of trouble, pretty good deal seeing as he had me cornered. Now for the real question. What are YOU doing here?" He says with a raised brow.

"Owww... I was really hoping you weren't going to say you were part of that. Yeah, that's not going to work for me. Ya see I also have to make sure nothing happens to that fella over there or my girl is gonna get it. I'm real sorry bout this Mike but I'm not losing Psyche for some dumb shit like this." Alek takes his phone from his pocket and presses a few buttons with his thumb.

"You should make whatever your doing fast. Really hope this turns out well for you guys but can't help till I get my book back. Sorry man, and good luck." Alek tosses the phone in a trash can and turns around and walks away back into the alley. Your tempted to follow him or at least talk some more but before you have the chance from the street you hear a shout of "HELP".

You turn from your... "Friend" and rush back behind Angel from the alley and stand on the other side of the man. Abel's armor has been ripped off his body in several locations and farther back it seems that even Sasuke has been hit once or twice from the rips on his shirt. Angel simply stands there and watches as his Demon keeps diving down and sideswiping Abel.

Things aren't looking good for the pair.

"Diz, things aren't looking good go help Abel! Kekuitan!" As always your book glows and you feel power surge through your body. But it seems different, you don't feel nearly as strong as you normally do.

Dizzy also seems less than normal for the spells use. Dizzy dashes over the Abel and manages to slap the bird away as it was coming down for another attack, slamming the bird into a nearby wall.

"KEKUITAN!" you call out again. Once more you feel the power flow into you and it folds over itself into a new level of power. Far away on the other side of the battlefield you can see that Abel is standing much better than he had been but is still hunched over. "Why is the spell so weak now?!" You can't put your finger on why its so weak. Perhaps its dividing the power among four people... Maybe your heart just isn't in it as much as you had thought... You begin to doubt yourself.

"Uh? Another one? That wasn't in the report but heck I think I can do it. VALEFOR 6 O'CLOCK!" Angel yells.

The bird recovers from its momentarily stun and soars toward you. "Gigano Arianos!" the bird begins to rotate as it heads toward you it is soon enveloped in a grey ... Something... Wind! The bird has become enveloped in a cloak of wind as it sails toward you.

Use infiran to debugging angel. See if taking out his stamina will break his confidence and affect his heart power output. By protecting the book, were protecting our little sister. Potentially boosting the power of the spell

You wait until the attack is within yards of you. Making sure that it is impossible for the attack to move from side to side at the last moment and hit you. At the last minute you duck and roll out of the way, the bird misses entirely.

"Mike! Watch out! IT COMES BACK!" You hear Sasuke shout from far away. You look back at the bird. Sure enough it is circling around to attack again. Yet again you dodge. Over and over the bird fiercely strikes and over and over it misses. Though it is learning how you will dodge and gets closer every time... The attacks also begin getting faster as it zeroes in on the small space you are locked into, unable to move as the bird would surely strike.

Soon enough you have no time to cast spells in between the attacks. You are stuck until you eventually get knocked down and beaten by this force of nature incarnate.

"Keep it up Valefor he can't keep it up forever." Angel laughs

"ENOUGH!" from the corner of your eye you see a bright light but cannot tell who it came from. "IRANO SASHIDO!"

Darkness envelops your body from above. However the onslaught stops. "Wha..."

Looking above you is a massive circular metallic wall, levitating above you. "MIKE! I got you back buddy!" Sasuke calls.

"Bothersome... But not a dealbreaker" Angel says.

Now is the time to counter attack. But you have a bad feeling that you should hurry with this battle, the warning Alek gave you is starting to bug you.

With no more onslaught from Valefor's attack you regain your composure and call Dizzy to your side. As to does your enemy and the bird resumes flying in circles above him.

Sasuke has fully recovered it seems, and Abel also seems much better than before. The time you bought them was enough, and Sasuke reapplies the armor to Abel. Soon as the spell is complete Abel jumps back into combat with Valefor, on much more equal terms, thanks to your repeated strengthening. Leaving you more or less free to do as you wish. However overall the battle is about even with the beating your partner has already taken.

But here is your chance for a new spell that is unknown to them. "Infiritan!" Dizzy's ball of yellow comes forth and flies toward the enemies.

"What's this now?" Angel says. Then it hits him. The yellow ball phases into the man and he drops to his knee. "Y-You lil prick" The man wheezes out as he struggles to regain his breath.

The second ball split from the the original heads smoothly toward the bird. "Your... Not getting away with that twice..." Angel says. He musters all his remaining energy together for his last spell. " Jekerdo!"

The bird returns to his master, avoiding the second ball of negative energy, he takes hold of his master by the shoulders and grows, the small parrot grows much larger in size, far exceeding the size of any bird you have ever seen. The birds wings flap and he lifts of with the man in his talons. " Yea, know. Ambushing a guy two on one is kinda a dick move, but to bad for you! Cuz it still wasn't enough!" The man laughs body limp as the bird begins to ascend into the sky.

"Shit mike he's getting away!" Sasuke says rushing over to you.

Thinking he will escape Angel fly's slowly upward, tossing insults and mocking you all with his back to you. Big mistake.

You kneel down next to Dizzy, and for focus on how pissed you are right now. This man whom thought he could take two people at once mocking you for being unfair as he retreats. His cowardice sickens you. "Dizzy, you say in a low tone."

"Hmm?"

"Get him good! Rou Kekitan." For the second time ever, the spell works. Dizzy punches her fists together resulting in a blinding light. When you can finally see again Dizzy is gone. Quickly surveying the area you find her. Dizzys fully grown self is pouncing from building to building rapidly approaching the bird and still unaware man.

From the edge of the roof Dizzy leaps into a multiple flip. She zips through the air with ease and when close enough Dizzy lands a huge kick reinforced with the spinning momentum straight into the back of the bird sending it crashing down to the pavement. As Dizzy falls she does just as you instructed and gets them good. She lands on the wing of the bird feet together to form a pressure point. As Dizzy lands you can hear an audible *SNAP* from the wing. Dizzy rolls across the shrieking beast's wing onto its upper back and begins wailing on the back of the birds head until the bird stops moving. Without even so much as a touch the book bursts into flames in Angels limp hands as he lays on the ground nearby unable to even look away as his partner is beaten mercilessly.

After only around ten seconds of this you to even feel a deep shame for having cast this upon this man. "Dizzy you can stop now!" You call hoping to end the pain of the bird.

Dizzy stops her fist mid punch and stands atop the bird. "He seemed stronger earlier, I felt I needn't hold back. Guess I was wrong." Dizzy says returning to you, blood stains across her face fists and outfit.

Your team looks on in sadness as Angel desperately try's to pat out the flaming book and repeating "I'm sorry" to his unconscious partner as he slowly disappears from this world. "It's a shame he never got to say goodbye to his partner. When I'm the Queen I will have to be sure to apologize for this."

Abel and Sasuke seem scared and hesitant to talk to this Dizzy... And you sort of do to.

Dizzy takes a fresh look at your friends from her new eyes and smiles. " I'm sorry that our first meeting had to be like this. Look at me I'm a mess." Dizzy chuckles wiping the blood from her hands onto her shirt. "Yes I do know of these two, from what I have seen they seem very kind. Especially little Abel here." Dizzy kneels down to abel and offers a smile. Abel seems frozen, whether from shock or fear makes no difference.

"Oh dear, seems you dislike fighting. Please, do not hold this against me..." Dizzy's smile faces as she stands up and turns to Sasuke. Dizzy gives a bow to him. "Thank you Sasuke, you saved Michael when I could not. I am grateful"

"Oh... Yeah sure, ya know... No biggie?" He tries to play it cool but he seems more frightened now than even before the battle began.

"Perhaps we should go. I'm sure our friends will need all the help they can get." You say motioning for the team to move. Which they do gladly.

Before you leave you take one last look back at Angel, crawling across the concrete to try and pet his partner one last time before he vanishes. He wont make it at that pace... You turn the corner and begin running.

Our *Smart* status on Michael gives him a level of this but not perfect answers to every question. For example things relating to textbook information and calculations ( To a collage level) will be cake walks. However decisions between, take the bright and shiney road ,or dark and gloomy road. Since we have no prior infromation to them our smart stat wont matter.

With the high rolls in here I dont think we have to worry about answering questions wrong to often

You and your team run down the empty road toward the other side of the school. Far off you can hear faint sounds of explosions and destruction. Looking to your friends you review them.

Sasuke and Abel are looking pretty beat up right now, if they were to get into a battle now it would simply be a burden on everyone else, so you stop them. "Hey you tired?" You ask

Your friends nod as they try to catch their breaths. "Why don't you sit this one out. Corina probably needs help, you should go and help her. Maybe take a lil break on the way, you seem beat."

"Yeah... Sure thing Mike, thank ya.!" Your friend says taking a seat with Abel on the curb.

You continue running to the Frey. On your back you hear a "Good luck!" From your friends.

Approaching the far side of the campus you notice several fleeing people from the direction of the explosions.

You bypass the flocks of fleeing people ducking in and out of them with relative ease.

"Well this is getting old fast." Dizzy says as she follows behind. "Hold on tight Michael" Dizzy says as she picks you up and throws you over her shoulder.

Before you know what is happening you are several feet in the air, looking at the backs of the fleeing men and women. "DIZ WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" You shout as you land atop car after car.

"Avoiding traffic!" Dizzy says with a laugh as she continues jumping.

Soon the crowds are gone and nothing is left on the street except holes of where explosions have happened. Holes in buildings and the like. " Looks like we made it in ti-" *POOF* A puff of smoke surrounds you as you stand atop a car. When the smoke clears, sitting next to you is your little sister. Once more small and looking a tad bit ... Dizzy.

"Brooo, where are we~?" Dizzy asks holding her head.

"Hey there kiddo, welcome back."

"Where was I?" Dizzy responds.

"Don't worry about it" You chuckle. Helping Dizzy to her feet. "Are you ready for round two?"

"Wait what happened to round one?" She inquires.

After the question is asked a beam of light Zig-zags across the pavement a street away. Moments later the area exposed to the beam burst into a hail of rock and dirt.

"You beat um up good Diz. You saved Abel and me and even ended up beating that pesky bird." You say praising the little girl.

"For real's!" Dizzy asks.

Soon as you confirm her question with a nod Dizzy throws her arms in the air and jumps for joy with a loud laugh and other merriment. Sadly the celebratin is cut short as you see your friend Louise being launched from around the corner of the next street straight toward a building.

Without thinking you react. "Kekuitan!" You shout, and bolt for your friend hoping to reach her before she slams into the building. You can tell you are to slow but you have to try. Dashing and jumping recklessly toward her you come to a halt.

Just before she slams into the wall Louise's body is enveloped in a purple aura and hangs in the air limp. Her purple book falls from her hand to the ground as a man with a torn shirt and pants limps from the very same street, arm extended toward the girl.

The burden of this conflict is to great for the warrior and his arm falls along with his body, dropping Louise to the ground atop her book.

From the street two more men come running taking cover behind a building as the lazar from before nips at their heels, utterly destroying the ground behind them. One of the men points at Louise and then the fallen one.

A bulb lights up in your head as a bright white light surrounds him. They must be john and his Demon. The light encases Louise and her Demon and the strangest thing you have ever seen happens.

Louise is lifted into the air and flung back into the street backwards, as to the man stands up and wobbles backwards. Seconds later a badly hurt Louise runs to take cover with the pair. Soon after the other man. Followed by another onslaught of explosive beams.

Seeing as the condition is not quite critical on this front you opt to leave this front for an attack from behind like before. You motion for Dizzy to follow you behind a nearby building into another alleyway that seems to lead right behind where you calculate that the beam originated.

Making haste you rush down the alley until you are stopped by an earsplitting shriek from above. You look up just in time to see something soar over your head toward the street. Things have just changed, you can only hope it is for the better. Continuing down the alley you reach a corner leading to the street you want.

Looking out you are stunned in horror at seeing the giant man Tanis and the girl atop his arms smiling at two newly arrived people whom you have never seen before. The first is a man no older then you with a skateboard and dark red hair by his side a child with spiked orange hair. But that is not the worst part. Looking above a large manta ray like creature circling above with what seems to be another man on it.

Slight relief comes over you as the skater guy waves off the creature and it fly's away with another bloodcurdling shriek. The men talk and motion over to the last location your friends were.

You cannot hear the talk but the large man gets a surprised look on his face at something the man says. Then he fly's into a rage, bypassing the skater and firing ceaselessly at the corner of the street. The skaters mouth moves a little more and he begins skating toward YOU.

Dizzy and you launch from begins the trashcans in a tackling form to hit them but no, you and Dizzy slam into each others as an empty skateboard rolls under you.

"Wew, that coulda been pretty bad. Wouldn't have even been much fight to that if you had gotten me. Buuuuut you see, your previous opponent is a bit of a vindictive dick. Told me you would do the same thing you did to him... And I must say, judging by all that blood you were pretty harsh. I'm not looking to get all beaten up." The man tells you

"How's about this." A voice comes from above.

Looking up you see his demon, floating on the air itself. No flapping or spell required it seems. "We go around, take those two out ,and we don't fight at all. You win. We win. Everybody is happy and the scoreboard ties up at 1-1." The child says straghtfaced.

"We don't want any of what... Uh... What was his name..." The man stutters.

"Valefor. Valefor was the bird, Angel was his partner." The boy says

"Yeah we don't want any of what Valefor had. So whatcha say?"

We had a little team of people with kids like these, we didn't do anything wrong, but out of nowhere a squad of these guys showed up... I was lucky, the guy who ended up finding me was a friendly man, he made me an offer to join them." The man begins

"So you abandoned your friends for safety..." You counter.

"Wrong... We fought. I lost... The man let me and Hyde go. Later when I went to tell everyone, they were gone. I scoured the town looking high and low for them. Nothing. Later that day the man came to me again. All four of them were in prison for several false charges. Terrorism, assaulting an officer, and my favorite assault with a deadly weapon" He laughs

Listening to the story all of you lower your stances and the boy comes down to ground level and sits along his friend.

"All of them had accepted. That offer, to join them. Ultimately I laughed, those traitors got what they deserved... But apparently loyalty is a big thing here, he offered me a real position. With no friends left, and facing an actual army I had no choice."He continues

You continue to listen to his speech. His story begins getting to you a little. Could you really trust everyone you were so-called friends with?

"And as for the losing side." He reaches into his pocket and presents a piece of paper.Pic related "How many friends do you have? Five? Ten? You do know that the men here are squad three correct... Me and my friends faced Squad Seven..." His smile is gone. "It's hopeless"

"When this is over Captain Caesar is burning the book and sending him to prison. When he left the station earlier Caesar was laughing about how willingly he was to do our work for us, all for the sake of the Demon. Made me sick but what could I do." He says

The words light an anger within you. Managing to keep yourself from going into a blind rage you continue. "Then I must hurry... He is my friend as well... About this situation, what will you do?"

He thinks for a moment. "I need to make a call..." He says taking a phone from his pocket.

"Sir!...Yes......Is it true..... Yes that..... Will there be an opening?...... Can you assure it?....." He looks to you "What was your name again?"

"Michael?"

"Michael... Yes...yes... Very much so, thank you sir.... Not a word, yes sir... Goodbye" He hangs up. "Hope we can meet again some day, I am not a part of this, Good luck... Hyde! Jikiru!"

The boy begins throwing his hands toward the ground as the man retrieves his skateboard. "By the way Mike, Im Edward. Not cool enough for my own codename yet." He laughs as the wind pushes the two of them over the building and in the opposite direction of... YOUR FRIENDS!

"Oh crap Diz lets go!" you yell jogging toward the opening. Just before you get out a massive explosion sound assaults your ears and a force of wind stops you in your tracks. "This is bad."

As you get out the smoke is clearing from a massive explosion, a gigantic wall of what seems to be... Glass? Is cracking to peaces at the other end of the street, all four of them are on the ground. There will be no reverse in time for this one...

You locate the giant man, he seems exhausted. Clearly he wasted all his strength counting on his ally to complete the job. Luckily for you that ally is yours now. "Infiritan!" You shout and the negative energy goes flying. The man is completely taken by surprise and the girl and man are forced limp by power of your spell. Not even able to take a knee they simply fall straight on their backs. The man has been made unconscious. The little girl screeches obscenities as loud as her weakened lungs will allow.

Looking at the street you see that several of the buildings have collapsed, the rest are on their last legs as they are riddled with holes and cuts from this war zone. The far end of the street is much worse. Much fire is down at that end as opposed to a much more intact street by you. Even two on one, this battle was one sided.

Making sure that they cannot attack any more you hurry over to the large man and begin trying to flip him over to find his book.

"You limp dick fuck, you dare strike ME! You are simply cowards, attacking from behind. All you rats are the same! But guess what you fucking tool! IM GOING TO HAVE THE LAST LAUGH!" The tiny girl breaks into a maniacal laugh as she raises her arm. "Fuck you!" She yells before snapping her fingers. The ground below the man lights up. "Shit! Another mine spell!" You think to yourself, trying to run from the glowing ground. But you were also caught off guard as the ground explodes sending you and Dizzy flying.

You cover the book with your entire body as you are thrown back with the violent force of a missile. You head straight for a car very quickly. This will probably hurt a lot...

UMPF! The sound of strain reaches your ears and you stop from your high speed launch. You fall to the ground.

Dizzy falls atop you.

At the last moment she jumped to be a barrier between you and the metal car. You are hurt and conscious, and the book is safe and intact. However the man is much different. He is... Gone... The book was instantly vaporized by the blast. Dizzy atop you is out cold. She protected you from a lethal impact with her body.

"Thank you Dizzy" You manage to say as you try to comfort her atop you.

I believe it was last thread I mentioned I was making a few small changes. I'm trying to keep most of the technicalities as close to the show as possible. There is a special way to develop spells and it has nothing to do with combat experience.

If you want to know how.
It is revealed in a Prof. Riddle episode that the spells are not learned from battle experience. They are learned from personal growth. Take that as you will. But when it happens you will know it.

Sacrificing yourself to save your brother. Sounds kinda personal growthie. So possibly soon. Possibly not.
