Without thinking you cast the newest spell in your arsenal. With a mighty shout you let loose as much power as you can muster into your new spell."CHARJIDO SUBOTAN!" and give Dizzy an eager look. You hope that she blasts the black sludge blitzing toward her with some power like Reycom. You hope she protects everyone with a massive shield like Abel. You hope you stop the attack from being fired like Psyche. But no.

Dizzy gives you a fearful side glance just before she is blasted by the sludge. She is utterly drowned in a giant pool of the bubbling black liquid.

"DIZZY!" you yell out.

No response. You continue shouting hoping Dizzy will answer your call. But she does not.

In a fit of anger you look up to the floating Manta and the man atop it. You assault the man with a flurry of insults. He simply stands atop the animal. Confused looking. The power you expended finally hits you and your legs give out beneath you. You fall to your hands and knees and continue screaming at the man.

"Dareido"

You look up to see the creature beginning to charge another beam of sludge on its tail. You trace the target of the tail. It's Samantha and Kana. They are still in the corner and getting seemingly better but unaware of what's about to happen.

You gather the last bits of your energy and move yourself between yourself and the girls. You stand and protect them as Dizzy protect you. The beam fires and you close your eyes and brace yourself for the worst.

You open your eyes. The beam is drawn to the Bubble encasing Dizzy. You are shocked and don't know how to react.

"B---o.....B--o...Wh--e...-s...ev--yo-e" You hear as the last bit of the Sludge is absorbed into the black bubble.

The sludge seems to be getting smaller. Even though more was added it seems to be getting smaller.

""DAREIDO!" Again another beam of black goo is fired at Sam and Kana. But it veers off and arcs directly into Dizzy's bubble. But is simply continues to get smaller. "Cut it out man! I'm just trying to do my job." "GIGANO DAREIDO!" This time the tail and both of the fins of the Manta begin to bubble pitch black. Then it fires. Three beams of condensed black goo. Straight to Dizzy.

When the attack ends the man atop the Manta seems visibly pissed and you stand dumbfounded as to what's happening.

"Heehe! That one kinda tickled" You hear. Its Dizzy! And as the Black goo continues to shrink and shrink a from begins to take shape. First five little bubbles, then they shrink and shrink until the black takes the form of a body, a very small body. The body turns to you "Hey Bro!"

Dizzys head is alone exposed as the goo begins to shrink. Soon the Goo forms into some kind of odd outfit around Dizzy and stops dissapearing. "This feels kinda funky~" Dizzy giggles.

"Dizzy! Your safe! Are you okay?" You ask Dizzy.

"Mhmm~ I feel great!" Dizzy responds. "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah. You protected us all. Thank you." You smile. "But we gotta finish this and save everyone else as well."

Dizzy nods and turns to face the enemy.

"Oh... I wasn't aware we were playing dressup here." The man laughs.

"Diz. Lets take them down!" You call to her. "Kekuitan!"

Nothing seems to happen. Rather than feeling stronger you remain the same. Weak and tired. Dizzy seems the same. "Hmm~ That's weird. Wonder what went wrong. Oh well~" Dizzys eyes narrow and she launches herself into the air. From her feet, two bursts of the black goo propel Dizzy into the air straight toward Manta.

"Whoa! Manta up!" The man says and the animal moves up just in time to avoid a Dizzy punch to the face. And it continues. The Manta continues to dodge Dizzy as she bursts through the air powered by several more bursts of goo. Around twelve bouts go like this until Dizzy finally lands a punch into the stomach of the beast. Causing it to shake and throwing the man from its back.

However as Dizzy tries to shoot of again for a followup attack she simply hops off the ground. "Ehh?" She says as she looks at you and back to the monster with a slightly irritated expression. "Um... Bro? Can I have some more power?" Dizzy asks.

"I'm empty. That was all you..."

"Oh... okay... well what now then?" She follows up.

"Now... Now we have our turn you little brat!" The man says recovering from his fall. The Beast comes down beside him and lets him back on and back up he goes.

You seem to be out of energy. You can't really attack any more and you don't see a way to attack them from the ground when you feel a tap on your arm. You look back and it is Sam.

"We... Can help you..." Sam says. Kana by her side.

"Please, just stand back and keep her safe." You hear from Kana in an unsure tone.

"We cannot. Without Dizzy's spells we will have no chance against an enemy that can fly. It has to be done... No matter the cost."

"Well... do you think you can at least control the spell this time?"

"No. This will be the third time I have used the spell. I thought I could at leaste control it slightly better than last time. But I was wrong. I thought I could be of help to Corina but... when I used the spell this Demon grabbed me and Kana's body and ran off." She says. "I could try but... I doubt that it will be any different than before.

"Just trust in yourself more. Im sure that you can show that demon who's boss if you just have more faith in your own power." You say placing your hand on Samanthas shoulder.

Your and Samantha's eyes meet and a newfound confidence bursts forth. "Your right! I'm sure I can tame the monster. Kana, make sure thatdemon gives them hell." Samantha says. Voice full of strength.

"ZERUK!"

Kana falls back into the arms of a waiting Samantha leaving behind only a red ball of light. The light slowly forms into the familiar shape of the Demon. Then it forms, its body.

First the claws on both the feet and hands and the mouth full of razor sharp teeth. Moving inward to the hunched over crimson clad body.

It laughs at you." You, you think you can say a few words and make her strong. No, that's not how strength works." The demon drags its claws on the ground as it slowly walks over to the three of you. "Listen closely. Here's why you can never be strong enough to control me." The demon raises its claw in the air. "Nothing can control me" The demon smiles and slashes down at you all.

"Dareido!" Before she can land the slice she is hit from behind by a shot of goo.

Her smile widens. "That... That right there... That was not a good idea." The demon spins around and cuts the strand of goo from her back. "Don't think you can EVER, control me. Don't EVER try to tell me what to do." The demon remarks as it jumps into the air and grabs hold of the Manta by the belly.

The monster cries in pain as the demon sinks its claws into its stomach and begins making its way around the side of its body and onto the top of the beast.

"Manta! What's wrong bud?" The man asks before he sees the claws reaching up over the side of the Creature.

As this is happening you and Dizzy get to work on saving your friends. Rushing beneath the Manta you toss Dizzy up and onto it. She watches the whole event go down and manages to grab the bag of spell books and tosses them down to you.

After crawling around the side of Manta the demon takes its time and savors every second of glorious fear it sees in the face of the man as it shows him what it is going to do to him. The demon drags its fingers across its own body, cutting itself and smiling as it points to the man. "Your next!" The demon hisses as it grows nearer and nearer.

Dizzy begins pulling off the goo from the pair and signs of life begin returning to the two.

Dizzy grabs them and jumps down to safety. But you are curious as to what is keeping the demon. All you can hear is a faint orgasmic moan, followed by a pained scream and then quiet. The demon jumps off the creature at the far end of the room, its claws dripping with blood.

The Manta makes several odd noises and fly's from the room through the hole in the roof. Leaving only the five of you. The demon begins walking toward you. Seemingly... Inhaling the scent of the blood from a claw.

"Your not strong. Your not powerful. Your not ready for what comes next" The demon says making its way to your group.

You lean over and ask Sam quietly to hand you her book.

"No! NO YOU CAN'T" She yells "It will end, please, Don't burn it please!" Sams eyes begin to water and she wraps her arms around her book.

"Trust me. She will be safe. Please." You persist.

Sam looks to the book then back to you. "P-please... Don't burn it." Samantha says hesitantly handing you her book.

You turn back around to the approaching demon. "That's far enough. Stop now or your gone." You say grabbing several pages inside the book. Hopefully tearing pages out results in the book burning...

The demon stops. "Seems like a rather last ditch effort, if you tear the book your little friend goes poof along with me .Not to mention, if you do rip it. I'll be sure to rip you before I'm gone." The demon chuckles resuming its walk.

"Looks like you saw through the bluff... Infiritan!" You call out.

Dizzy has since snuck her way behind the approaching demon. "Gotcha~" Dizzy says as she point blank blasts the demon from behind with a massive shot of negative energy.

As before the demon screeches in anger as it begins to fade away again. It leaves you with some final words of warning. "No matter how hard she tries to avoid me. I will be back, and I'll be sure to repay you in full." The monster laughs as it returns to its ball and returns to Kana.

There is no real joy in the victory as you have nearly no energy left in your body. But you have saved one of your friends and gotten all the spell books that were taken back from the beast. Though it got away, you are sure it wont be back anytime soon, and the last thing you see before you pass out. What seems to be a woman walking through the hole at the far end of the building.

It is quiet. It is dark. You feel nothing. You see nothing. Everything beyond your body is a mystery that you simply cannot bring yourself to comprehend. As time passes your body grows colder. Unaware of how to change the chill enveloping you, you continue on. Waiting. It feels like... Hours... Days even ,and you have given up hope of feeling warmth again.

When all but your last sliver of hope seemed lost you open your eyes to the void of black to a small beam of light. Soon following the light is a quiet humming of some song you have never heard.

As the light grows larger the feeling returns to your body and you are able to bring yourself ever closer toward the light in the darkness. You feel the sensation of ground beneath your feet and continue to treck on into the ever brightening void.

Soon enough you are in an open plain with nothing but a single tree atop a hill, the closer you approach the louder the humming gets. Reaching the base of the hill you look up to the tree and identify the source of the humming.

In the tree sitting on two separate branches leaning against the trunk are Dizzy, and Dizzy. To the left playing with a small butterfly is your little sister. To the right is the older form that comes from the third spell. She looks to the higher branches humming in tune with the younger.

You make your way to the base of the tree where your little sister can finally notice you.

"Hey~! Bro! It's about time you got up. We were starting to worry about you." The younger says.

Alright alright I get it we want route 1.

Dont worry. A low roll here didn't do anything terrible. Writing.

"What's going on... Where are we? What happened to the fight?" You ask. Confused as to what's happening.

Dizzy looks around her surroundings. "Ummm~... Well, I dunno where we are. But we've been waiting for you for a while!" Dizzy says. She stands from the branch and leaps from the tree. She leaps directly into your arms. "I was really worried actually..." Dizzy says burying her face in your chest.

"D-Diz... It's okay. Everything is fine" You say trying to comfort her.

"Ahh! Michael, hello. I trust you are better now correct?" The older says as she also jumps from the tree. "I'm glad to see you are feeling better." The woman says smiling.

"Well now that it's certain I suppose my work here is complete." She bow's to you "I look forward to seeing you again Michael." and with that she fades away to the wind.

I'd really like to know what's going on here. You think to yourself. But with only your sulking little sister around you choose to leave your questioning for later. Rather you carry Dizzy to the base of the tree and sit. You sit and wait for her to finally finish her cry.

When she finally finishes she looks up to you "Please... Don't scare me like that." Dizzy gives you one last embrace and the whole world except for you, fades to black. However this is different from before. Now you are very warm.

You open your eyes to a welcome sight. There is no rubble, no blood soaked monsters, no crazy Demons wanting to kill you. You are in a room atop a bed covered in a white blanket and Dizzy sleeping by your side looking quite snug. Looking around the room are four of your friends. Abel, Sasuke, Samantha, and Kana all sitting in chairs in various locations around the room. Sasuke and Abel seem to be playing some handheld game by a table near the foot of your bed. Sam is looking out a window to your right, and Kana is watching a cartoon on the wall mounted T.V.

You slowly sit up from the bed you had been laying in. There is an ache in most of your body causing you to emit a small groan of pain.At the noise all the heads in the room shoot around to stare at you.

"Hey... What's everyone looking at? I got something on my face?" You chuckle.

"Mike dude you should lay back down. Don't worry the school is cool with it and your sister just stepped out to th- Oh your!" Sasuke stands up and bolts it out the door to your room.

Abel comes to your side and beckons you to lay down by fluffing your pillow. "Seriously what's going on guys?" You ask again.

Samantha comes to the side of your bed and wraps her arms around you. "You saved us thank you so much." She removes her arms from you and sits in the chair by your side of the bed. "Thank you so much for... For... For saving her and me." Samantha says. Her eyes beginning to tear up.

"Y-yeah no prob... But can you please tell me what's happening? What about the battle?"

"Michael. You've been asleep for three days. She thinks that drawing so much power for the final spell when you were already so low on strength utterly exhausted you. We won. Corina managed to defeat their leader by herself." Sam says wiping a tear from her eyes.

"Oh that's great!"

"After you collapsed she and her demon came and carried you all the way here. Then we called your sister, and all of us have been waiting for you to wake up since. Well... All of us except Corina. She stopped by once to see how you were doing though." Sam continues.

I know John got his book burnt but what happened to Louise? I really hope another friend got their book burnt on my responsibility.

"Wait so does that mean that we beat them? The unit is gone?" You ask

"Well... Yes and no... Since then I have been contacted by... uhh... The guy with the dog. He is still here, along with one of his partners and some new guy that apparently you vouched for, and an old friend of yours? I was told to make sure everyone just keeps there heads down until the investigation blows over. He told me that if we stay quiet everything will blow over soon." She tells you

"Wait... What happened to Louise after the whole thing? Is she..."

"We haven't seen her. We assume her demon is still safe as we have her book. Or, should I say Corina has her book. When she dropped you off she took it before she left. That guy told me he is trying to figure out what happened to her but... As of yet there has been no word about her or the demon."

"Ahh... I see" you respond

The door swings open and Amy round and jumps on the bed. Dizzy is bounced of the bed and onto the floor but doesn't seem to mind as she remains fast asleep. "Are you okay!"

"Im fine Amy. How have you been? I'm sorry that I missed your first day of school and we couldn't go shopping." You hang your head in shame.

"Don't worry about that! You can make that up to me anytime~!" She says, her smile trying to keep her back from crying as well. "You are okay... Right?"

"Yeah, I think I'm fine." You confirm as she crawls off the bed.

The group continue to talk to you for a while. Everyone pitching in with thanks and the things that happened in the fight before and after you arrived. Sasuke and Abel had been helping Corina deal with the throngs of golems that had been summoned before he was ambushed and defeated by the flying monster. Samantha until that point had been able to avoid from using the spell but had to try and save him. When she used the spell the demon grabbed her and ran away. Corina had destroyed every spell that the enemy commander used and besides being held up by the massive army of the golems had defeated him rather effortlessly... Or at least that's what she told them.

After hours of talking the Sun begins to set and your friends take leave of you. However you are bedridden and not allowed to leave for several more days. Your friends visit you over the course of the next three days you were kept for observation at the hospital. Your sisters never left your side for the duration. On the day you were discharged Samantha was there to see you out of the hospital.

"So Michael~, It's that time of the year again." Sam says as she wheels you out the front door. "And now we can finally go!"

"What do ya mean?"

"Oh... Right silly me. School field trips are coming up. It's wonderful! The culture, the food, the entire thought of being abroad gives me Goosebumps!" She cheers.

"Huh?"

"What? You didn't know about them? Well... In a couple months the top rated students are allowed to take a trip with one of the clubs to the country they study. You know. The Asian Culture club goes to China and Japan. Then there is the American Society of History that travels across the country. European culture club goes to Germany, Italy, and England~ I can't wait!"

"No... No I didn't know about it."

"Yeah, Most of our club are in the top percent of the grade so we are all going as well~. I'm going to Europe! I think that "Sasuke" is going to Asia to. Any idea where you may be wanting to go...?"

You peek back at the girl pushing your wheelchair and see her face has become beet-red. You decide to go even farther. "Yeah, I have been wanting to spend more time with you for a while. We can have some nice talks while Diz and Kana play. Don't you agree~?" You say with a smug tone.

"W-we could indeed!" She stops pushing for a moment. "Hold on a sec. I-I have to go do something." Sam say beating a hasty retreat down a hallway.

Wow, you didn't think that a little teasing like that would cause such a reaction. You think you can enjoy the teasing a lot more later down the road. Or even... Possibly... Try to actually...

"Browowow~"Dizzy chants as she peeks her head up from beside the chair. "What was dat all about? She just like, turned red for no reason! Do you think she is sick or something? Good thing we're in a hospital huh~" Diz snickers.

"I don't know. I sure hope not" You say with a smile as you eagerly await the return of your 'friend'.

As you wait you can't help but think that the hardest part of the whole Demon experience is behind you. Little do you know, the battle is only just beginning and as you sit there battles rage. The wicked become ever stronger.

"Hey ,Dizzy"

"Tomorrow is going to be a great day."
