Yin, as usual, is sitting behind a pile of documents, albeit this time it is just a foot tall, reaching up to about her shoulders.

She happily greets us and bows politely (which nicely displays her soft-looking bossom, thanks to the open cut of her dress) towards us before asking us to seat where she was, and standing up to set some tea.

From what we can see in the documents, the new Palladium furnaces are ready, and working fine. So much so that they outperform the Glassteel furnaces, even though Palladium was meant to be harder to produce.

Apparently one of the master smiths noticed that by using a double chamber system of pressure doors, heat in the oven can be kept high more effectively, and this led to a large increase in effectiveness.

That same master smith is asking for a budget for a new furnace, which he says would lead to a even better material.

Its by far the most expensive request the forge has sent to us yet, however.

Now that the Empire's technological Age has reached III, Adamantian Ingots have been added to the drop lists of all Construct Type monsters in Empire-controlled dungeons.

Drop Rate: Extremely Rare. Reaching a higher Technological Age will lower the rarity of Adamantian Ingots.

Adamantian can be used by master smiths to craft extraordinary equipment in an Advanced Alchemical Furnace.

We need to have 6+ Era II unlocked first. There's also some unit types specific to each culture that can/need to be unlocked but I didnt include them because it would have inflated the info dump WAY too much.

We could start a unskilled labor project to get everyone into producing canned food, or maybe get to 'capping' a dungeon for resources.

Personally I think it's better if we make a wholly new dungeon for that first, though. Remember doing that would cost around 100k gold, IIRC

Current budget is about 115k so we could just barely afford it, but would probably need to justify spending around 90% of budget in something that doesnt seems all that urgent right now.

So Yin goes with Eldric to see an example of a recently civilized Monster race, gets affected by the pheromones because she isn't high-level like Eldric (or because they go to meet with the leaders of the village who unconsciously release the pheromones because they're excited), and Yin aggressively demands that Eldric take her.

Have him resist, keep Yin at arm's length until she calms down. She apologizes for losing control, but later realizes that she still feels a desire to be with Eldric even after the pheromones wear off.

Well she doesnt has the built-over-time resistance to succubuss that Eldric has. They're not present in the continent she lives in, after all, nor has she ever met one.

Remember she is somewhat attracted to him already, so her feelings plus a big push from the pheromones would be enough for her to try going for him much more aggressively.

They (the succubuss) aren't releasing the mind-control variety when they talk with her. They're not trying to leave her helpless so they can eat her, after all. Is just their 'passive' mode so to speak, so its not as if she will go all 'take me now!' on Eldric. I was thinking more along the lines of feeling horny and uncomfortable around him, fidgeting, then curling her tails around him and leaning in, trying to start a kiss... you know, smart and serious but inexperienced girl making a move.

Would he? We have the advantage of narrator point of view, so we know that she has no natural resistance to the pheromones. Not a predator present in her continent, after all.

Remember the succubuss have been 'monsters' for a LONG time now, so the creatures in the same continents as them must have evolved some natural resistance over time.

Yin is from another continent, so it hits her like a truck, but would he know that? I don't think so.

Well, maybe its just something that happens naturally while they're working side by side instead? Like, the night is getting cold so he warms him up with her tails, then he ifly pets them and she gets flushed and excited and it snowballs from there.

It looks like a building. Maybe a new type of furnace? He seems to think they are very important.

"Im thinking of a new way to handle money." - he replies

-Hm... he doesn't shows up to work as much as she'd like him to, but she can't deny her boss has come up with a lot of interesting ideas in the past.

The city smells much much better since building that see-where system to deal with waste. It's still not as nice as the woodlands around her native village, with their soft and relaxing scent of trees and flowers year-round, but DEFINITIVELY better than it was when she arrived.

Well, except in the palace, of course. Cleaning in the palace (and his manor) was always a priority, so the changes there have been minimum, albeit the cleaning staff certainly seems to have noticed the difference.

Nowadays, many other cities in the empire have begun their own see-where systems, imitating the capital and hoping for a good result.

There's a whole new industry dedicated to making metal tubes and installing them now.

"Uhmm... more numbers?" - she says after a moment of thinking. He recently introduced what he called 'arabic numbers', to great effect in accounts everywhere.

Now it's a lot easier to deal with large and small numbers everywhere.

Rather than 'eleven thousand three hundred fifty three' you just write 11353, which uses a lot less space and is much easier to handle on first sight.

Well, the old method is still used in some official ceremonies, though. Handing a imperial order with '11353' written on it just doesn't has the same gravitas to it, you know?

"Ah, those" - Indeed, now you can deposit money at a rockitship dock, and be given a ´note' which you can exchange for local currency once you arrive at your destination. It is a very useful system considering that the coins you start with may not neccessarily be recognized as currency at the end of your trip.

Well, the rockitship company charges a small percentage of the money, but it is overall a very convenient service.

Plus, coins can be quite heavy, and considering that you get charged by weight on a rockitship, the charge for using the notes system is less than if you were to keep all your coinage on yourself.

Well, for nobles, anyway. Regular people like herself have the advantage of a [Item Box] where they can store their coins at no cost.

But there's still the possibility of it not being valid currency at your destination.

Yup, the notes system is quite useful for all travellers. Really

"It's a system to use notes inside the country on a everyday basis." -he explains further

If there are 100 gold coins in the state's reserve, and a hundred gold coins bill out in someone's hands, that means there's a total of two hundred coins in the end, right?

"I feel like we need to talk a lot about this. It sounds like a very big change..." - says Yin after a little bit of thought

Honestly, remember that money dissapears from the vaults when we order public works, so currency is replaced about as quickly as it gets generated by dungeons.

Yes, public buildings are system-generated while private houses are built the old fashion way.

So introducing bills and storing the dungeon generated coins can lead to inflation. We'll need to be careful about there being too much money in circulation as well.

By the way guys, just so you know, 'properly' eating chinese noddles involves slurping them up in a noisy manner. Failing to do so implies that you aren't enjoying them, and is seen as rude. (im 1/2 chiense, btw)

Similarly, eating ALL your food implies the host served you a 'too small' portion, so you should leave a little bit on the dish to imply you are too full to eat any more, which means it was a very generous and big portion.

And so, we basically ate while working.

'Nnn... I don't really understand well why, but the boss seems a bit worried about there being too much money... Isn't that a nice problem to have? Ah! He must have noticed my doubts showing on my face!'

Actually, Eldric was enjoying to see the pretty fox girl eat tiny bits one after another, elegantly picking them up with the chopsticks and taking them to her ruby lips. From time to time, she also slurped up her noodles, which inevitably looked (and sounded) quite erotic.

The noodles were sucked up and gave a little whiplash before dissapearing between her lips. The sight of her facing down while sucking and looking up at him with her golden eyes, fluffy ears flicking a little bit, naturally caused his child to stirr up in response, but thankfully the table was in the way so she couldn't notice.

"Erh... sir, this... will the palace's treasury accept the money?" -she says after licking her lips clean and straightening up a little bit.
"Oh, that's a very good point, but I suspect it will if Ren officially decrees it as currency, you know?"
"I see..." - if the heavenly empress decrees it, uh? Her life philosophy as a citizen of the empire had no issue with that assumption.

Well, it meant that the new 'bill' would also dissapear after some time, being consumed for public works.

They continued to discuss work while having lunch. It really helped Yin feel more relaxed when he explained his new ideas.

She felt really guilty for peeping at him that one time.

She knew it was wrong, but the door was slightly open, and she was just passing by. Its not as if she had gone there to peek. Its just that once she looked into the room, she found she couldn't look away.

The memory made her feel both uncomfortable and excited, which made her all the more embarrassed now that they were face to face.

'Uhhh... I can't even apologize without admitting to it...'

Honestly, for such a sheltered and intelligent young woman, her first exposure to the adult world had been way too stimulating.

After a while, they both seemed to calm down and manage to get themselves back into work mode.

When he invited her to see the new 'monster' village he had started to reintroduce the succubus to civilization, she naturally accepted his invitation.

The empress had expressed interest in the idea of 'rescuing' as many such former citizens as possible, after all. And the new language square would help make this a reality as the army corps approached the roaming packs of humanoid monsters, after all.

She was only mildly worried about him still being somewhat hungry, seeing as how he had completely cleaned up his potion of the lunch, however.

'I should ask the cooks to prepare larger portions for him. I had no idea sir was such a good eater.' -she mused

After treestriding to the new village, she was initially confused, but quickly regained her footing.

The houses... no, every building was in a style different to the one she was used to.

Honestly, the architecture surprised her a lot more than the inhabitants. Since the empire already has so many different races living together, seeing a group of people with horns and tails barely even caysed her 'strange'o'meter' to react at all.

So what if they had horns? Plenty of beastkin have horns.

Tails? You think that will bother someone with nine of her own? Are you serious?

The fact that they were almost universally female didn't move her in the least, either. Such things varied greatly from tribe to tribe, after all. For all she knew, the males could be out hunting or working on security around the village.

There is no town wall, after all.

The inhabitants happily approached his boss and herself.

'They look quite happy to see us.. no, happy to see sir Eldric.'

Their clothes heavily reminded her of the 'school uniform' she had seen the imperial princess wear a few times before.

They went into a house, and she was quite surprised when its inhabitants greeted Eldric as 'Master'.

As it turns out, they were his Menagerie pets, as well as inhabitants of the town.

Once Eldric explained the situation to her, she understood why a Language Square was neccessary.

Ah, for a while now, she's been feeling this itch for some reason... it only got stronger as she entered the house too... and the images of her boss being amorous with his friends kept harrassing her non stop.

'Uhh... I- I am not a lustful person!' - she complained to herself

The village had been growing along nicely, it seems. The succubus had gotten used to living together, so if there was any problem, it was the fact that all doors and windows tended to be open or unlocked at all times.

Well, they are used to sharing everything and have no concept of 'personal space' so even if they enter one another's homes, it isn't an issue for them.

That sounds nice and all, at a tribe's level, but won't be a good thing if they go to live anywhere else, you know?

Actually, it started when she realized just 'where' she itched, specifically.

She could feel her clothes constrain and rub against her. Her body seemed to have grown needlessly sensitive all of a sudden, specially in certain naughty spots.

As a well-read young lady, she knew enough to feel ashamed of herself.

It would allow them to earn coinage and begin a trade-based economy, instead of depending on a dungeon.

"Ah, yes!" - she blurted out, right as the dominant Eldric in her mind overlapped with the one right next to her, ordering her to shift positions while the real one took her hand and pulled her towards the familiar tree they had used to arrive in the first place.

Like that, they came out from the peach tree in the Mantequira Manor's garden.

"Are you alright?" -he asks politely
"Yes! Thank you very much!" -she replies while blushing from tip to toe
"Alright. If you are sure, do you want to talk about the new lab I want built?"

A huge problem for chinese students is, in the continent, the party destroyed millenia old documents and replaced the entire language with a 'streamlined, simplified version', while in taiwan, they are still using the 'classical, millenia old' characters and intonation, so... do you want to learn the millenia old style in which the beautiful classic works were writen in, or the new and modern version used by hundreds of millions?

Also, while my parents had noble intentions sending me to chinese classes as a child, a 6 years old is unable to appreciate the importance and beauty of learning his ancestral language so i forgot most of it, im sad to say.

As for Okaba, he's a very tall young man with eastern african looks and big feathered wings.

Ah, the difference between eastern and western africans is like the difference between spaniards and germans. Sure, they're both europeans, but their nose, for example, is different.

Eastern Africa actually had a lot of trade with asia and china (google golden fleet) so they have a more 'asian' flavor, while western africans had more contact with europe. As you can imagine, their facial structure is different.

If it helps, Okaba probably looks a lot younger than he is. Like how Im on my late thirties but if I shave I get called "young man" a lot by people YOUNGER THAN I AM.

Well, in general, eastern people look younger to western people. I wouldnt say baby faced, but definitively younger.

Just add in some asian features like thinner eyes and rounder cheeks and you should be pretty close. (Again, the rounder cheeks is, IMHO, what causes the 'younger' impression)

No, but I'd like to write ero-manga with someone else drawing. I think its a shame that good artists think they can write. Many really really can't. Take the author of Air Gear and Tenjoy Tenge for example, or the author of Bleach. They can draw amazingly well, but they write like SHIT.

If you ever can, read Batman vs Predator.
It's batman, vs predator. Meaning, the script could be shit if handled by 90% of writers, yet they found the right one to write a really batman-like story and it turned out great.
The artist could have been better, but... the inker was a GOD.
Seriously, just the colorworks on it make it a worthwile purchase. I have a copy, and have given one to all my important RL friends. It's just THAT amazing.

You know why it was never properly ended? Because it later on turns to shit. Same with the author's other work, Tenjoy Tenge.
It's like he's a one trick pony that only knows how to do one thing, and that is drawing (nice) asses, and maining girls.

Air Gear -> Leg amputation, since it was about skaterolling
Tenjoy Tengue -> Arms amputation since it was about fighting
