Well, a few days ago, we asked Aritsu to help manage the linked journals, so she's taken over the phones, so to speak.

We (obviously) dress up our beautiful fianceés, and take them to college before calling out our pets and assigning them their jobs for the day.

We sent most of them dungeon-delv9ng, though we do send two of the harpies to replace Nina at her work, and some others are left home to learn to socialize by playing house with our littlest siblings.

Alright, if we're taking Nina to the capital, let's dress her up first.

Beastkin females dress with deep cuts on the back, to allow for wings and/or tails as needed, so what else? Ah but those who only have tails sometimes dress very conservatively and only have a small pocket-like opening for the tail to go through, though.

Well, since Nina has wings, she needs the open back type, anyway... what else... long single piece. Ah, something in black wool, to match her eyes and hair.

It also makes a nice contrast with her clear skin. So, long, black, wool... oh, high neck.. turtle neck.

So a simple and long one piece with turtle neck and a deep V cut on the back. As for shoes... boots? short boots.

Ah, she has a nice figure, so let's try high heels, I think. As for her hair... I think ehr long black hair is quite lovely. It also has some tiny feather frowing at the edge of her forehead. It looks really soft and caresseable...

She gets all happy and fidgety when we pet them.

Well, let's take Nina to the square and let her try out a few treats there.

Yup, that's fine. It's food that's normally aimed at children anyway, like candy apples and cupcakes, so it's alright. I think.

Ah, I was going to think 'she's just a chick, so maybe grain would be nice?' but she's actually properly eaten cooked meals with lots of different things on it in the past, right?

At the beach BBQ, she properly had kebabs so she can have meat with no problems. Uhmm... well, I guess a harpy would naturally be a bird of prey?

But there's more than enough humanoid in her that she can also eat fruits, grains, and even drink milk, right? So she's definitively an omnivore.

As in, they're petite. And really light.

Well, unlike the faeries, that seem to fly by magical means, or the majin like Okaba and Aura(?) that are a sort of magic/muscle hybrid, the harpies seem to fly the natural way, you know?

That's why, their wingspan is amazing, even if they're that petite.

I think I remember watching in a nature documental once that birds tend to have a wing span 3 to 4 times their body lenght... but bird body lenght is measure from beak to tail, right?

Looking at Nina, if you only measured her from her mouth to the base of her spine... she's actually surprisingly small!?

When she's standing next to us, she only reaches up to our chest... no thats misleading. I should say she reaches up to just barely higher than the mouth of our stomach?

Still, as a flying creature that obeys the laws of nature when it comes to flight, this is plenty large, I think... by the way, according to that documental, their wingspawn should be somewhere between 6 and 8 feet, but I think it's closer to 9"

Well, they have a lot more mass than a bird with the same body lenght, after all. Though we've have always suspected they have hollow bones and flight bags (aka air bags) inside them.

We need to figure out and implement communication and control systems that will help Miel rule her empire, so that she can take more time off to rest (and we can whisk her away for dates, adventures, and doing our duty to create more princesses).

Maybe linked journal centers so that the hives can better coordinate.
What about creating committees and councils of sage-faeries who can take some of the burden off of Miel; she sets policy, they come up with an action plan and implement it.

Crema and Moccha... well, they're our naturally submissive and playful cows. Ah, it's not as if they're sex toys, but it's rather obvious that they enjoy being dominated... I'm not complaining, though.

They're factually naked since all they wear are their haness, collar and accessories, but that's technically the standard get up for menagerie monsters, so to everyone else they're just normally accessorized pets.

For everyone, they look like -slightly- adorned but otherwise normal menagerie monsters, uh? Yup, it's fine.

There's also the succubus... but for some reason there hasn't been a chance to properly measure our distance with them. I mean, as our [Menagerie] monsters they are naturally inclined to agree with anything we say, so we know they wouldn't reject us, but they honestly don't seem particularly interested in being intimate with us.

I don't think they hate us, either. Well, for them, sex-related stuff was a hunting tool that led to rather gory violence so they probably have very different feelings on the matter, don't they?

Right now her attributes say she can do both with ease, though, and she's been quite competent at her job, however simple it may be.

Well, she did get lost a few times at first, but everytime a city guard brought her back home, and after a week and a half or so, she stopped getting lost at all.

Yes, I guess she was a lost child a few times. It must have been scary because she really was a child in size and mind back then.

Right now I guess she's more like a really competenmt college student? Well, honestly she's smarter than that, but education-wise, she's way below that so I guess that sounds about right.

Besides, she needs the mental stimulii to grow, and this will be a good, challenging job for her.

But yeah, let's ask Nissa to watch out for her. Eopolis is the largest city in the continent after all. Its as large as some modern day metropolis, so its a good thing the city structure is centered around the keep.

She just has to follow a main street to get to the keep and then have one of Nissa's honey faeries [Treestride] her home in the evenings.

The keep is a pretty large landmark, so she can't get lost.

Wrapping her in our arms, she feels super soft and squishy. Really warm too.

We hold the petite chic-- ah, the petite girl in our arms and squeeze her gently as we hum to her.

We're at the docks district, of course. It's as big as we remember, with many, many large building all around, both warehouses and shipyards.

Well, our offices aren't adjacent to our actual shipyard or the docks, since, there's no real need for it.

The office itself acts as a tickets sale spot, as well as running the company books.

Going in, there's a rather surprising number or people working here. At least three dozen on the first room, with a really long counter where about a dozen cashiers work with long lines of passengers and merchants.

Uh, actually, aren't they all merchants? I guess it's more likely that they are securing cargo space along with their tickets, since while anyone CAN buy a ticket, not everyone could afford it.

So, personal tickets are rarely sold without cargo space onboard the ship.

Uhm, there's no sight of uncle Wolfric, so let's go into the rear offices... ah, the guard asked us to stop.

Well, good job? Letting anyone just go in would be bad, after all.

We show our ID amulet to the guard, and explain that we're the founder of the company, and have been requested to show up by our uncle, who manages the place for us at the moment.

The guard is a bit shocked, but politely asks us for our ID amulet and checks its authenticity, then excuses himself as he returns it.

Rather than apologizing, though, I think he was doing a good job. He wasn't rude at any time, and somply politely asked for our ID, even though he caught us going into an area closed to the general public.

Yup, I think he's a good guard, so let's congratulate him and go in.

And that's how, we finally go into the back room... is what I'd wish I could say, but the fact is that the place is a proper office building, so rather than a room, its a hallway full of doors.

Ah... they're not marked with plates or anything else, either, and the hallway turns right after a while, there's more doors, and a set of stairs at te end.

We... should have asked the guard to call our uncle, or at least guide us.

The cashiers at the ticket sales counter were wearing similar clothes, albeit I wouldnt call it a uniform.

Oh, finally we see someone leaving an office, let's ask her about our uncle's office.

Well, I guess we should have expected the president's office to be in the top floor?

There's plenty of other offices on the floor, though. So it's not just the one office.

I guess it would have been really luxurious, but not very practical. Still, it seems to use quite a bit of the floor.

Once we knocked on the door and were invited in, we see uncle Wolfric is working behind a very wide dark wood desk, the type that reaches all the way to the floor.

There's not that many documents on top of it, so I guess he's up-to-date with work... actually wasn't our uncle the one responsible for running the city AND army logistics during the last war?

Uh... did we just one sidedly perhaps drop a lot of extra work on his lap? I feel like I should make a :9 face about now.

"Ah, Eldric, please come in!" - he gets up and welcomes us, then invites us to take a seat... in the president's chair
