You cross your arms, trying to follow your mom’s directions. “...Mr. Ozotto, are you going to be coming here?”

‘Some time soon. I will not interfere with your quest for the Rainbow Shell, but these ruins have... well, something to keep me entertained while I wait. Though I must admit, the visitor to this planet has me intrigued as well...’

“What are you seeking?” you ask, moving forward, pushing your sister along as she mumbles about “Majin Ghosts.”

‘Why, only the thing responsible for my rejuvenation, my restoration, my return. I would appreciate it if you be careful with the materials in there. It... reacts poorly with Earthlings like you.’

You’ve got a slightly smug grin across your face as you look up. You might have bought everyone some time, might have prevented Ozotto from getting even stronger. And... your sister is poking you in the shoulder, sort of dancing in place. “Gohan. Gohan. Gohan. Gohan. Gooooohaaaaaan.”

Peppa pouts at you. “Not like there’s anything but ghosts in here. Well, spooky water stuff too... wait, Gohan are the ghosts actually the spooky water?”

Where DOES she come up with these things? “Come on, just a little more before we find the thing.”

You both head forward. Mom seems to be busy talking with a few people, but she’s keeping track of where you’re headed. About 50 meters to the target, though, you hit a bit of an impasse. The closest room to it is completely blocked off, and the only ones nearby seem to head to a lower level. You could try that alternative route, or you could try very carefully to push through

The path down is... strangely chilling. Unusually so. By the time you get down there you’re shivering. There’s a path up ahead, you think you can spot some stairs leading up. As you step down... the sand across the floor feels strange. It’s bizarrely crunchy, almost like snow, but the texture is still fairly smooth.

“G-G-G-G-Goh-h-h-haan-n-n-n! Why’s it s-s-so c-c-c-coldd?” your sister asks, floating above the ground slightly, shivering in midair.

There are a few carvings on the walls. They seem to depict a large circle... and maybe people walking around it. They seem to be... throwing stuff inside the hole. There’s a large crack across the wall where the hole is, too.

The sand starts to rumble. A sudden jet of it blasts out and strikes the wall. Two more fly through the air, aiming you and Peppa, but the both of you are more than capable of dodging the strange jets of the substance. A... sort of blob of this sand-ice takes a vaguely humanoid shape. And it’s clearly not friendly.

But from the creature forming, it seems to have moved most of the sand out off the floor. And the monster itself... seems to be coming from a hole in the floor proper.

She pulls out her Practice Power Pole, grinning wide. “Got it, Gohan!” She then starts spinning it around above her as you dodge another attempt from the monster to attack you. Energy swirls around your sister, starting to push aside the monster. It gets to the point where the winds she conjures toss the thing around, breaking it apart. At the bottom of the hole the monster resides in... huh! There’s something down there! You jump down in there and find an odd, red rock. You quickly snatch it up and try to fly out of the hole... only for a large stone to clock you in the head. “OW! SIS!” ...Oh hey there are more bricks.

...

Oh good.

The room is collapsing.

“SIS! NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!” you shout, trying to bolt through.

It’s too late though. The tornado Peppa forms from her Wind Magic collapses the whole room and what’s probably above it. The two of you are buried under the rubble.

Thankfully, though, it’s not too deep, and the two of you are too strong for this to seriously hurt anything more than pride. ‘...Gohan. Peppa. What did you two just do?’ your mother asks, her question just as critical as it is concerned.

“...Ah, umm... we broke a room?” your sister mumbles, blasting off some of the rubble and heading up the staircase.

“We did find a strange red rock and-”

...

You take a deep breath. Okay. You can do this, Gohan. You do your best to blow away the rubble, just enough that it clears your way to the green jar. And... it’s intact! ...But not for long! Some of the rubble you blasted away starts to head towards the jar!

You bolt towards the jar at full speed. Time seems to slow slightly for you as you grab the thing. Right before a chunk of rock strikes it you stop yourself and use your built up momentum to Shinespark back to your sister. “Last one to the Rainbow Shell’s gotta tell mom what happened!”

“H-HEY NO FAIR! GOHAAAAAN!” she grumbles, chasing after you. Okay, the room ahead is completely clear... and in the distance, you see it! A couple rooms away, you see the gleam of the Rainbow Shell! Ah, but your sister is gaining on you. Seems she’s going at full speed for this one.

Sadly for her.

You’re faster!

You dart towards the shell, carefully avoiding causing any damage to the ruins as Peppa trails behind you. You finally stop right above it, landing and grinning wide. “Nice try, sis!”

She pouts at you. “No faaaaair. Why’d you trick me like that?”

You hop down. “To give you an example, sis.”

Her head tilts slightly as she raises an eyebrow. “Hmn?”

“You’re stronger than I am now, sure. But... strength isn’t everything, is it? It’s why mom and I developed this.” Might make her more interested in Equivalent Exchange. She’s probably got a few skills you wanna try for it. “Anyway, looks like our mission’s complete!”

She smiles and shrugs. “Looks like. Good job, Gohan.”

“Now let’s get this thing to mom!”

Vegeta's getting increasingly frustrated, and Goku being with him has not been helping things. Goku's actually been having some fun bantering with Vegeta a bit. Nappa doesn't trust Paragus, and is surprised Broly is so weak but figures that he ended up more like Tarble. Raditz has been having his fun poking fun at Vegeta too, but hasn't been doing too much.

Bra and Broly have sort of been interacting, but not in the way you might expect. Bra might have a very, very good reason for being there now. Did you really think Towa's main focus would be on Gohan and Peppa?
