Welcome to Tribes Evo, a game where you take control of a tribe and evolve it culturally, technologically, and historically through time. Currently, a new tribe is introduced, two tribes became nations, and war is brewing, along with doubt on my qming abilities

Previous Threads (please read if new): http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=tribevo
Discord: https://discord.gg/r36b7By
Art: http://imgur.com/a/2mlai

POTT: http://www.strawpoll.me/13085030

New Players Guide:
>Every turn is a new day
>Every turn each tribe can do one action and research
>Research - Laws, Technologies, Arts, Customs
>Action - Trading, Hunting, Scouting, Organizing
>At least one player per tribe, no upper limit on tribe members
> Only ONE action and ONE research PER TRIBE, must be agreed by majority
> Please read sheet to verify 1) whether a tech/culture has already been researched and 2) whether OP fucked up in updating sheets

Other Mechanics:
> Combat (NPC) - one commander per tribe, roll xd100 where x is the number of GROUPS of units you wish to fight (ask oldfag or OP if unclear)
> Culture - After exposure to other cultures, rolls can be made to determine how foreign cultures can affect your civilization's society
> Nationhood - Once a tribe reaches 1000+ population, they are eleigible for nationhood. They will then need a constitution, flag, currency, formal military, and more than one town. The constitution MUST include established geographic borders, name of your state, and governing body.
> Economy - One a civ implements a tax, there will be a stream of income to your treasury. You will be able to purchase additional actions with this income. Too high a tax, however, will affect mood.

Additional changes:
> I had previously had mining actions as another version of a scouting action, as in real life one does not extract the same ore vein continuously like one would do with logs. Player complaint has led to change this so that everyone at mines will get a stream of some ore.
> War is emminent. Declaring war will cost an action along with a troop movement/tactic, and a -2 mood debuff.
> To repeat, actions are meant to be one time for the turn and not ongoing, unless you use it to enforce a law, which in that case the effects will be ongoing.
> Please reply to this post if you think I should redo last turn for whatever reason. Call me whatever, but I'd rather not be called unbiased.
>>
>>1521885
>would rather not be called unbiased.

We knew you were biased.
>>
>>1521885
Yes, redo the turn.
Also war moves should be done on the thread if it's direct combat

Otherwise it should be dms to prevent metagame (like the entirety of the ducks last proposed turn)
>>
>>1521885
>>1521902
freudian slipped, I meant I dont wanna be called biased lmao
>>
>>1521904
Me btw
>>
>>1521885
Action: send scouts further north
Research: a religion, which includes sacred ants(sacred cows on steroids), and states that an aardvark is measured by their skill as a worker and warrior, and that stealing the credit for work done by another aardvark is a massive sin
>>
>>1521904
Duck metagaming was 80% of their turn.

I roleplayed this whole game trying to be realistic. Hence no currency.

But now its effecting my civ when someone goes full autism and gets information that would take one or two full days to receive, making dragonfly express worthless.
>>
>>1521904
Why would you redo the turn? I understand you're upset but it was completely within reasonable logic & the rules & mechanics of the game
>>1521925
Can somebody please explain why saving converts being killed is metagame?
>>
>>1521981
It was supposed to be a secret operation were we killed all the coverts asap, yet the ducks somehow learned of this plan and saved some of the coverts
>>
This is still going? :)
>>
>>1522000
EVEN IF that whole action wasn't 2 distinct moves, "execute heretics in secret" & "Mobalize an army"
The chickens would have still been able to escape without duck help, so the roll is still valid
>>
>>1521885
Do not redo the turn
>>
>>1522063
>>1522038
Stop me if im wrong, but wouldn't the absence of duck mean that the chickens chances of escape drastically go done meaning reroll?
>>
>>1521885
I agree we should redo the last turn. The thread got unfocused and many posts were buried, but we can still correct that.
>>
>>1522106
well, 10 still died, so they were clearly in the middle of that 2 action turn anyway, so the unarmed missionary ducks would have realistically done nothing but convince them to go to duckberg straight away for refuge rather than just running around like a not yet headless chicken before going there

This whole thing is just annoying, whenever chickens don't like something they make the biggest deal possible about it, they kept trying to do it to the bunnies, & now that after giving ducks shit for so long, the underdog ducks pull something off, they spit their dummy out
>>
>>1522123
Not just chickens, everyone does this.

Honestly, I just want other tribe perspective, such as bunnies and aardvarks.
>>
>>1522122
If we redo last turn, you shouldn't be able to capture & execute heretics AS WELL as mobilize your army
Just accept the turn & carry on, why does it even matter that we got 10 converts, you're literally about to try to invade us
>>
>>1522156
I don't want affect this too much, but i think it would be near impossible for the missonarys to send the message faster than dragonfly express
>>
File: 1494603673989.jpg (24 KB, 288x252)

24 KB JPG
We could just leave this autism in the past and continue with the next set of turn updates.
>>
>>1522172
??
The missionaries arn't sending a message?
The executions are public knowledge because of unhappy chickens, & POSSIBLY the dragonfly express if they don't cancel it. either way that affects THIS turn, nothing to do with the last turn where we saved the converts
>>
I think that we would know of people being killed so don't redo the turn
>>
>>1522181
Regardless bunny, itd be in your best interests for the sake of this games existence to give some input. Unless your input is to just no redo the turn.
>>
>>1522182
Wait, didn't the chickens say it was a secret mission?
If they didn't out right sya that than oh well
>>
Now whats this I hear about redoing a turn?
>>
>>1522123
You ducks were clearly metagaming. There was absolutely no possible way you would have learned of our action and got there in time to stop it.
>>
>>1522210
The turn stated studying chicken society through our converts that were assumed to be coming to & from duckberg, which then morphed from all the arguing into what it became because you were insisting they wouldn't be going to & from duckberg(which they would). The turn was always the same, no meta gaming, really this whole thing happened because of you
>>
>>1522312
It's my fault for pointing out metagame and your tendency to teleport and know exactly when and where things will happen? Ok, lad.
Chickens and frogs have been icy for a long time, Chickens going to and from duckberg would be detained faster than you can have a autistic breakdown, and OP never stated that they were or we would have killed them earlier. Stop making shit up.
>>
From what i've seen so far, its 50/50 on redo
I think OP has to decide this with his own judgement
>>
Will anyone ever respect my hidden texts?

>Hopefully yes...
>>
From what Ive seen in thread, it seems the sentiment is to move on, do discord anons agree? Please reply here.

To clarify, this is the situation we will agree and NOT REDO:
> ducks will have converted 20 Unity Market citizens
> 10 duck converts are saved
> chickens have executed 10 chickens and incurred a mood debuff
> frogs moved to Cluckington

I will then need you to post your INCOMING TURN 74 HERE.
>>
>>1522181
What say you my liege?
>>
>>1522410
Agreed

Action: evacuate converts from unity market!
After the attack on the converts in Sprouton the ducks know they're way of life is under attack, they begin to prepare for further attacks by firstly getting all citizens to safety, this now includes the unity market converts who are going to be targeted

Research: Chicken catapults
After saving their lives in Sprouton, the converts are very grateful and have disregarded any allegiance to the chickens. The ducks ask for information on chickens to help prepare incase they decide to threaten duck society next. They take interest in the concept of catapults and attempt to recreate them. With the knowledge and experience of the converts, research should be significantly easier

Considering the previous Sprouton incident happened yesterday, news should have spread to unity market, making the converted frogs wary. They should roll on escaping like the chickens did last turn
>>
>>1522458
roll if people try to stop them that is
>>
>>1521924
>>1522410
From what i can tell another aarvark wanted the religion to have what us baiscally communist/socialist values
( quote "it's a culture against profiteering. If you want to become rich, you need to be either skilled or chivalrous","It's more of a matter of the belief that such practices are harmful to the community and a society as a whole if they're let flourish.",and "If a merchant sells an Aadvark product at an exorbitant price on foreign lands, but brings the wealth back to the nation, he is considered to have acted in benefit to his people and thus has not committed a sin.")
I want to back this because the thought of communist aardvarks amuses me
But i want to see what mill thinks of this
>>
>>1522458
The people in Sprouton are farmers, not siege weapon engineers. Having seen a catapult does not equal knowing how to make one and inform someone else how to construct one. I contest this, and to move beyond this hiccup, our turn:

>>1522410
Action: The Chickens mobilize (with the Frogs) to position themselves outside the Duck capital. Duckberg? They leave 12 Dragonfly-riding Frogs behind in Cluckington as a resupply envoy, to bring food, weapons and armor to the troops before returning to Cluckington for a fresh cargo. The Alpha Hen declares that no Duck is permitted to cross the Chicken borders, and that their infringements of the Sovereignty of KFC lands has proved to be an offense she can no longer ignore. War is declared on the Ducks, which are to be killed on sight.

Research: The chickens begin collecting blacksmiths, farmers, foresters, silk-weavers, carpenters, and those skilled in crafts to make school-like guilds, dedicated to passing on knowledge and mastering their crafts. They seek to improve their mastery of their fields, as well as improving the efficiency of production, practicing day and night to outdo their masters.
>>
>>1522581
This
>>
>>1522581
To clarify, the previously specified force of Chickens is what mobilizes. I believe it came to 400 Chickens of fighting age and inclination. That force is led by our Elite squadron of guerrilla tacticians and includes our catapult operators, and 50 mounted female spiders.

(15 elite troops, 35 catapult operators, 50 mounted spider cavalry, 250 rank and file soldiers, 100 support/medical troops)
>>
>>1522581
Do this
>>
Waitn for freg and bune
>>
>>1522682
Action: Expand our colony at Kelp cove to feature an improved port/slipway including increasing the sea weed farm operation. We'd like to eventually make it a major city for bunnykind.

Research: Bunnys seeking to learn more of the stars and whats beyond their normal vision learn to create telescopes/spyglasses.
>>
>>1522682
did froggo not do an action?
>>
>>1522682
While we wait, it seems that the according to the poll that war turns will be privately dmed. The way it will work is that after war is officially declared, all war participants will experience a -2 mood debuff. Then, all sides will have war turns they will send to me that is separate from their regulr research and action. It will be similar to the npc combat, where you will roll for effectiveness for each action. Move will then be eelayed one at a time per day. You can use as many combat moves as there are war fronts. If anyone has any questions/comments/complaints, please reply to this post.
>>
>>1522725
Do you take tactics & strategies into account or is it all equipment + rng roll?
>>
>>1522746
I do
>>
>>1522718
I did in the last thread.
>>1522410
Why would those not be redon? We declared war 1 turn prior to that. We would not allow them near us. Unity Market murdered them the last time they approached. Ducks betrayed frogs in the past. There is no founded reason for any of that to work.
>>
>>1522803
I collected those because I thought from the discord sentiment was to move on. So far, Ive gathered Richard and you want to redo the turn. If I get some more that are not chicken or frog, I will redo.

Also, last turn I interpreted you to move troops in preparation for war and not declare it, but if you did declare war, then you would be correct.
>>
>>1522410
>Research: Frogs study their stones that they have mined. Perhaps learning more about them will assist in finding other stones, or even metals.

Action: While the army is joined with the chickens, Frogs see the Duck diplomats
will not stop. A law is established that no ducks are to enter there borders from now on and are to be killed on sight. They are not to be listened to or reasoned with.
>>1522824
I am glad that everyone saying "I just wanna ignore drama" is getting that exact result. Of course no one else cares enough to redo a turn.
>>
>>1522410
OP, changing duck turn

Action: Mass produce our razer wing tech to equip our troops

Research: Oil from things like fish, seaweed & bamboo
>>
Heres a tip for all future turns.

PLEASE BE EXPLICIT IN WHAT YOU WANT A TURN TO ACCOMPLISH

I am not a mind reader. I am not on your side or against you. I have five sheets to juggle per turn. I will interpret what I INTERPRET THE TURN TO BE LITERALLY. I do NOT make assumptions. I do NOT make up turns for you. I make a turn of literally what I read.

That being said, is everyone in ABSOLUTE agreement here?

I don't want to redo the turn, I do want you to edit the outcome.
Everyone's turns hinged on what we did, redoing that would be to much work. I don't see why or how the ducks would have gotten the converts out, nor how they would manage to get catapult tech from a bunch of farmers.
>>
>>1522885
Agreed
>>
>>1522881
NO
THis is the duck move
>>1522877
>>
>>1522885
I dont know about the getting catapult tech as thats not part of the turn being discussed, but the convert escape wasnt a guarantee but a roll, as the missionaries were sent the same turn, so there is a factor that they might save the converts that same day. I agree though that if the chickens and frogs declared war in the previous turn, missionaries would not be able to convert. So I will just include the chance factor for the saving of converts, and not the converting of the Unity Market citizens

Any complaints?
>>
>>1522930

Okay our religion praises Mythras

The war god.
Warriors, scholars and artisans are held in esteem.
The foreigners are savages and shouldnt be trusted.
Greed is a sin and you shouldnt try to hold onto earthly posessions.
A death in battle is the greatest death.
The Military coordinates foreign trade.
Chivalrous actions are rewarded in the afterlife.

The chivalrous conduct our trade with foreigners as they wont be corrupted.

Rolled 10, 13, 29, 99, 29 = 180 (5d100)

As far as I can tell, there are three fronts: The wall, the lake, and the aerial units. I will be rolling effectiveness for these fronts for both sides.

STANDARD SCALE OF DMG EFFECTIVENESS
1-5: 25% (Pr 0.05)
6-25: 50% (Pr 0.20)
26-65: 75% (Pr 0.40)
66-85: 80% (Pr 0.20)
86-99: 100% (Pr 0.04)
100: 150% (Pr 0.01)

OUTSIDE THE WALL:

Three catapults are set up with twelve catapult operators, twenty archers, and thirty soldiers per catapult, making a total of 62 units per catapult for a total of 186 units outside, 300 feet from the capital. They continually bombard the wall with fiery ammo. The defense that the ducks have set up include the tank, spearmen, and halberd wielding ducks, told to man the wall and not engage in melee unless they manage to scale the wall. Both groups stay at their posts, and the wall gets continually damaged from the catapults. Once the lake units infiltrate in and battle with the bowmen, they are ready to engage with them as well.

AT THE LAKE:

45 Frog units combined with 15 elite units swim in the lake with blowdarts and axes to infiltrate the camp from the east. The first few lines fall into the traps set up. The remaining lines charge in, with the intent to set fire all structures. Bowmen ducks atop the bamboo built apartments will shoot down upon the infiltrating units.

AERIAL:

28 dragonfly units come to drop fiery nets on the town. The aerial ducks intercept these units.

1. Catapults on the wall (+10 for supply line)
2. Dragonflies
3. Aerial ducks
4. lake chickens and frogs (+10 for camo)
5. duck bowmen (+10 for traps)
>>
>>1524259
OUTSIDE THE WALL:
Catapults are aimed to set aflame the structures within, but manage to damage the wall for the most part. The ducks manned are able to evade it due to their skill in aerobatics. One section of the wall is crumbling and burnt, but still stands despite its weakened state. Effectively, the wall is about half as strong as it is now.

AERIAL:
Ducks and dragonflies dance in the sky. Despite the skill of the dragonfly riders, the strength of the flying units is no match to the horde of expert flying, metal-winged ducks. The ducks slice through many insect wings and frog limbs until only 5 of the 28 units remain in pristine condition. The ducks suffer 11 losses from the 40 sent. Few frogs manage to reach over the capital; some manage to throw flaming nets inside the capital. The canopies of the bamboo apartments are singed, but the manned bowmen manage to stamp it off.

LAKE:
The traps are successful in killing many an ambusher; many frogs fall inside the initial disguised pits, then the remaining ambushers charge in, with an intent to burn everything and kill everything. Ducks atop the apartment try are late to notice them, due to the camoweeds, and thus many are fallen before more troops get up and experly sling or blowdart them down. Those who escape catch fire and fall in pain. One poisonfrog jumps on the fishy stockpile and secretes his toxins, but none of the ducks notice. All fifty five archer-ducks die. The apartments and the chief tent are up in a huge fire.

DUCK CASUALTIES: 45 archers dead, 10 archers wounded, 11 aerial dead
CHICKEN CASUALTIES: 12 elite dead
FROG CASUALTIES: 11 dragonfly riders dead, 12 dragonfly riders wounded, 16 halberdfrogs dead, 4 halberdfrogs wounded, 2 slingfrogs wounded, 5 blowdartfrogs wounded, and 5 spearfrogs wounded

UPDATES FOR ROUND 2:
> ducks at the wall NOTICE THE REMAINING AMBUSHERS
> Troops outside the walls NOTICE THE BLAZE AND CAN CHOOSE TO ENTER IF THE MANNED DUCKS LEAVE
>>
To be clear: I am waiting on the dm for the next war turn from all sides. Regular turn will continue once either the war is done, or one side leaves the battlefield and the battle is done.
>>
>>1524425
I'm pretty sure spiders move faster than us, right? I need to make sure it is for... reasons...
>>
Rolled 82, 41, 66, 79, 35, 30, 85 = 418 (7d100)

Chickens move in to damage the wall. Once its broken, they will move in with 50 spider mounted troops, followed by the sixty archers and 90 soldiers who guarded the catapults. They hold 90 reserve soldiers for those who fall in battle. Once the wall is down, the catapults will target the aerial units. The troops inside move in to kill the Duck God King.

All ducks all move to be aerial. The militia ducks split into two groups of 105. Both groups gather flaming bamboo and body parts and coat the ground troops with a mix of urine and a limited amount of recently discovered fish oil , and come into swooping attacks from extremely high places in an attempt to fire the invaders; one inside the city, one to the catapults. Wall ducks are told to target any spiders that seem to scale up the walls. Finally, aerial units are told to finish off the dragonflies, assist the wall ducks, and four are sent to the next town to prepare supplies for the next battle.

Frogs retreat the remaining dragonflies and send out a new batch of 12 used in the supply runs. Once the wall falls, Spiderfrogs join spiderchickens, and guardfrogs join the coop guard. Frogustus plans to meet up with the elite units inside once he lands.

I will roll for the spider battle once/if the wall falls

1. Catapults on the wall (+10 to roll for supply line)
2. Archer guards
3. Militia Ducks 1
4. Elite chickens and 13 remaining frogs
5. Militia Ducks 2
6. 12 dragonfly riders + Frogustus
7. Aerial ducks
>>
Rolled 41, 55 = 96 (2d100)

Wall is completely destroyed. Rolling for the spider units and wallmen next.

Only the archers are able to fight back against the duck swooping horde. They manage to kill 60 of the first militia ducks before they are completely wiped, along with two burning catapults.

Frogustus was never able to make it to Duckberg. All the units were swept away by the ducks who outnumbered them, and they were only able to slay four ducks before all 13 dragonfly riders fell.

The inside soldiers managed to kill the duck king and 19 militia ducks, but they too burned up.

The whole capital is now aflame. All the ducks are in the air.

Running Casualties:
Duck: 79 dead
Frog: 26 dead
Chicken: 63 dead

1. 62 Spider units
2. 185 Wall ducks
>>
>>1524879
Spider units succeed in spreading the fire, but it doesn't matter. The city is burned up. They return attacks from the swooping ducks, but only manage to kill 28 and are swarmed by almost triple their numbers.

Casualties:
Ducks: 28 dead
Frog: 12 dead
Chicken: 50 dead

Waiting for next war move (FYI you can choose to retreat, and the battle will be finished. Then next turn will operate like a normal turn, with a new war move.)

Ok, I got the frogs pulled out.

Need to know what chicken and duck decide to do. DM me in discord when you have your war turns ready.
>>
So, I would like to hope that my fellow bunny controllers can see why I want military developments. This single battle destroyed an entire city and essentially has eliminated the duck holdings on this island. I don't want to fight the (most of the) other tribes but I feel the only way to avoid war is truly superior firepower and numbers.

I understand you don't want to commit acts of violence or even develop military technology or institutions, out of fear of antagonising the other tribes but I argue it is a necessity for our survival even if they hold no plans for aggression in mind as of now.

All I ask is a few things be developed. Almost everything else I have planned is economic or otherwise something you would certainly support. Yet these developments are designed to feed back into supporting the military.

Luckily you have already started to development of some of the things I felt needed for my plans (a better dockyard, windmills / waterwheels and telescopes / spyglasses) and thus I can reduce the number of turns needed for the plan.
>>
>>1526395
We did it because the ducks are violent and repeatedly made incursions to provoke a civil war based on religion tension. Had they just left us alone there would be no war.
The way to avoid war is to fuck off and leave us to our own devices, not rapidly arming yourself. Rapidly arming yourself only escalates the tension between tribes.
>>
>>1526956
An illogical statement. M.A.D worked to stop a nuclear exchange for decades backed by logical governance / diplomacy and superior military power has secured peace for centuries between rivals.

It is better to have the blade and not need it than to need the blade and not have it. We will still be the same bunnies, just we won't be beaten in a war without significant losses and thus we will not be easy to threaten or easily beaten.

I would point out that if we wanted to beat you in a war, our superior numbers might see it done. All I want to do is make it so that once it is done there will be an actual population of non-crippled bunnies left behind to make sure we don't die out and shit.

I respect your point as to your reasons.

Still though, if we continue to outpace your growth and grow stronger, won't you eventually turn to militaristic methods of stopping us? I remember that at least one other tribe's member was looking on our growth and success, talking about developing Greek fire and yet others were talking about developing gunpowder.
>>
Which is the best tribe?
>>
>>1527071
The chickens
>>
>>1527071
Depends.
Ducks are about to be exterminated and are the meme tribe.
Chickens are a alright at basically everything, but master of nothing
Rabbits are farmers who just farm and tech
Frogs are chickens but slightly better at culture and live in lakes
Aardvarks have only had 2 turns so it will be hard to tell what they do, but they may turn into the orcs of this civ.
>>
>>1525704
We're not gonna have a trade embargo just because you say so mate.
But you can be rest assured that I will be against spilling the blood of our citizens for the sake of charity.
>>
UPDATE: just received duck war turn.
>>
>>1527071
Defiantly the Bunnies by a large margin atm, they have the largest pop, best tech, & are the happiest

aardvarks will be 2nd once they unite the clans
>>
>>1527330
I'd argue the chickens and frogs might be stronger. Seeing as they trade tech and shit pretty frequently and thus can do more with what they have.
>>
>>1527332
But their tech isn't very advanced at all.
They are trading OK tech to bump each other up.
You're only MAYBE stronger military wise, & you just took a large blow to that during the duck battle.

That's a point, OP, would the chicken, frog & duck population numbers be effected by the losses of the battle of duckberg?
>>
>>1527336
True but if they wanted to, they could fuse their technological advancements and out pace us greatly.
>>
>>1527336
yes
>>
>>1527338
No they couldn't, the only tech between both tribes they have that we don't have an equivalent or better to is piping, silk clothing, melee weapons & armor for the chickens
& for the frogs it's heated baths, kites, parachutes & tool belts

Even then, bunnies have twice their entire populations combined & are more educated & tech advanced, we can out strip those FEW differences very quickly if we wanted to

Besides, it really depends how you class "best", if it's by happiness bunnies win, if it's by population bunnies win, if it's by tech bunnies still win & have the ability to completely out do the other tribes military tech (even combined) if we wanted to
>>
>>1527348
My point is that if they communicated what their plans were and combined their actions and researches they could outpace us.

As they would be able to research two things in the same time we can research one. Even if we assume they start off weaker over time this faster technological progression leads to their success.
>>
>>1527354
oooooooo, that's a good point now that you mention it, twice the tech rate. idk if they'd work together that harmoniously though
>>
>>1527361
They might not and if they did we could always ally with the ducks. As much as I may dislike the concept of relying on another group.

Chickens choose to consolidate their military at the outpost.

A group of leaderless ducks angrily send a group of 65 to kidnap the Alpha Hen and burn Cluckington down to the ground. They know the location of Cluckington from their first scouting expeditions. They will bring the Alpha Hen in the bamboo cage by attaching the cage with twine to their feet, and fly up with 6 ducks to carry it to the camp.

40 ducks carry oil in their mouths and bamboo containers. The other 25 execute the kidnapping. They will all fly to north tribe upon completion of the mission.

The executive council decide to create a network of watch towers / resting posts around their borders with the other nations to watch traffic and provide a secure point to defend against invasions or banditry and to provide a clear marker of the borders. These are to be staffed by the Surface guard in groups of 3 working to maintain a watch constantly without straining their numbers.

Research: The bunnies have had metallic armour for many years yet it is still of the style and make that is almost as old as their civilisation's military, a very makeshift effort from the war against the bees and far from ideal especially against the weapons of other tribes.

In order to modernise their military and enhance it's capabilities, they endeavour decide to develop new and better steel armouring based off all they learned in that war and since. Lighter, stronger and shinier than copper or bronze armour, it will symbolise the new age of bunny glory and of external threats greater than the bees of old...and the will of the bunnies to defeat them.

They almost never leave their caves, so due to their scatterings, they employ many ways to communicate with others -- butterfly messaging and light signals to be precise.

Their long lives in isolation give them huge capacities for innovation. They have made many discoveries of the natural world, but are poor in employing them in a useful manner. They are herbivores and due to their environment and underground farms, the climate makes no difference in their lives. However, their reclusivity means they prefer not to socialize, leading to poor birth rates, and anxiety upon meeting new creatures.

I will release a tribe sheet later, making the new discord channel now.

True but most of the people we might want or be able to invade are pretty worthless to us as slaves. The only things we would want are the raw materials they have like silver, iron, gold and shit. Things we can extract from the burnt out husks of their towns just as efficiently if not more so than if they are alive.

Admittedly I do want to make a coliseum of some sorts for such a purpose but blood sports don't fit the bunny culture apparently.

Anyhow, it seems like if we are going to be going that sort of route, we should start making progress towards faster population growth for all and greater productivity in regards to shipbuilding and weapon / armour making, so we can easily equip large offensive forces with sufficient fleets to transport them. Still, colonialism works best if there is something to exploit. Like, for example...spices...hint, hint.

>>1529635
Eh, call it what you want. I prefer that timescale as it makes slightly more sense than us bunnies going from 100 odd people to 4000 odd in 76 days. Maybe weeks or months would be a better compromise but my point is that that was all flavour text to provide a logical justification for developing better armour.

Let me tell you about the tortoises.

They are pacifist, herbivorous, introverts. They grow mushrooms and moss, selectively breeding them to be a quite healthy and large for sustenance.

Their culture basically keeps them in the mountain range, in their single cave rooms. They communicate with their brother tortoise clans, who are scattered throughout the range, with butterflies carrying messages made in colored paint, and sometime with magnified light during certain times of the day.

Due to their long lives in relative peace, they spend lots of time thinking. Unfortunately, they don't use their accumulated knowledge in practical applications much, save for their communications and mining.

Their unique trait of reclusivity keeps them at a very low birthing rate, due to the shyness of tortoises to find other mates. This turn they just discovered magnetic properties in rocks.

ANY LURKERS THIS IS A TIME TO LAY CLAIM TO THIS TRIBE

Bunnies already have watch towers on the borders with surface guards being built constantly + a toll gate at the river entrance

>Changing action: Create Sea Salt Farms.
The bunnies dig long shallow channels in the northern beach of the island to allowing sea water to flow in & evaporate so the bunnies can collect large quantities of sea salt

& to make the research more IC:
>Research: Light weight steel armor
After witnessing the razing Duckberg from their gate across the river, the bunnies are now WELL aware of their neighbors battle capabilities and worry that IF they ever attacked, would they be able to survive? The Council commissions the best craftsmen to create a far better version of the current steel plate armor used for the bee battles. The craftsmen go to the university. Through trail testing, forging mastery & biological expertise they are able to create a state of the art armor design, that uses the thinnest sheets of steel that are still able to withstand sword arrow & even bee level attacks while still being quite light , optimally shaped & smoothed to increase the likelihood of direct attacks deflecting off. The plates are attached over only the vital points of bunnies, so that any blow sustained will simply be a flesh wound & not life ending. All of these are sewn onto a thick woven undergarments. All combined this design is state of the art, maximizing defensive capability & minimizing weight as much as possible. The craftsmen & university are very proud of this, it is their finest work so far!

Ye it's the same turn, but the extra detail will help later with specifics in case we ever have to USE it & discuss details with OP. Only 7 archers remain in the aftermath. They escape with their lives.

Only 17 of the 50 ducks die. Once the archers escape, they manage to burn important locations in both towns. Minetown's mine is flooded with charred wood and the workers quarters are demolished. The port town burns up, along with the civilian quarters. Refugees from both towns flood the capital.

The ducks manage to reach the Alpha Hen first. They then...

Moving the cage is tough with multiple ducks. You need enough space to spread your wings, and its tough to carry a large piece of cargo when its strapped to your legs. Though the ducks are good fliers, they are not used to sharing a burden like this, so awkwardly drop her in the worst possible place: Unity Market. News of the alpha hen's discovery soothens mood. Anarchy is not as inevitable.

A medicine chicken makes a drug that sends chickens in a frenzy, and a meeting is gathered to determine the future of the KFC state. If the alpha hen survives, many believe they will continue as a monarchy under her reign, or ask her who she wants as an heir. If she does not survive, chickens have agreed to gather and elect the new alpha, along with potentially a new governing system.

> 1-75: Alpha dies, election on governing structure and leader due next turn
> 76-100: Alpha lives, heir is named.

Action: Build more ant farms (food source ants) and increase food supply.

Building more antfarms also would allow us to breed more mountable ants which is over all a win
And i agree with catapults first since were most likely going to siege their city. Otherwise i would argue balistas first would make more since

Frogs learn that cleaning wounds help people heal, and put effort into healing the alpha hen. I pasted chicken's alpha hen turn too early; the frogs efforts to heal will raise the odds.

Sorry, I was asleep and couldn't reply to you but I shall do so now.

We have never applied any actions to automate or improve our wood cutting industry beyond the initial things to establish it: making axes and getting some saplings.

Also, we have no looms or other devices to process wool en masse and they were needed as I was going to automate that too in two turns...

>>1536476
Excellent, I was planning on developing such a harness but more so for a...agricultural purpose. We just need to develop a plough now and our farming will be much more efficient.

>>1536854
Action: Begin the construction of a network of pipes / tubes containing a connection to the surface automaton's power source and the burrows using gearboxes, shafts, pulleys and all that good shit. Distribute these connections between all of the forges and the production burrow. This will make mass automation of our industries quicker and easier.

Research: Develop the loom / wool-spinning machines to save labour and make clothes production easier for all. specifically develop them towards being able to be automated.
>>
>>1536854
Action: Send bunny scouts on Beatles to scout for new land, & if possible locate the SS Juni

Research: BOAT SHOES
Leapernardo DeNibble has done it again! By adapting the naval designs from the docks & added stabilizing side bars, he has created a way for individual bunnies to walk on water (with a little practice). He hopes this innovative research will help the naval design industry, seaweed farmers, sailors, adventurous sports bunnies and who knows what else
(Think clogs with wooden kayak stabilizers)

>>1537100
I am still here, just trying to let you do your plan.
>>
>>1537138
The plan is open to alteration and other turns, so long as the end goal is achieved in the end.

>>
>>1537152
So... is the arms deal ok?
>>
>>1537231

>>
>>1537299
Oh, I almost forgot.

Seeing as we are changing from Bronze armour over to steel and no longer use bows. I suggested we sell them off to another group.

He expressed interest in acquiring these pieces but no discussion of what we would get was ever completed.

I'll let you two figure out an appropriate exchange.
>>
>>1537321
Our scouts still have long bows because they're better at long ranged. If we get a beetle brigade they will too. But since we auto make bows already that'd be fine I suppose

bronze armor is also fine, but there's no truce, we've discussed it in disc & we don't want the chickens to drag us into anything, or be under the impression we'd help them if that kind of thing happened. We're simply for trade

RANDOM LONG TERM TRIBE SPECIFIC EVENT

What have you done to earn our loyalty is the more important point: ignoring a few new crops as a part of the initial diplomatic envoy from your people our relations have not been very detailed.

Thus, we aren't exactly going to potentially get made into a target in the middle of your war when our people are on the precipice of an industrial revolution.

If only we had followed my plan, we would be ready for such a war...
>>

An (NPC) tribe of moles sense a disturbance in their digging grounds. They can burrow through dirt and have stone breaking tools, usually emerging to cause a homicidal ruckus and leave. At the moment, bunnies don't know the cause of the murders, and explorers going into intruding tunnels never return.

Every turn, I will roll to see the murder rate from the moles. Its unknown how many of them there are, or where they come from. The bunnies have never experienced anything like it.

I will roll for the murder once all the turns are submitted.
