"It was a crafty one for sure" She says in her usual dull voice.

"Might've just been lucky" I say calmly as the new officer nods, still rubbing his chin as he follows after us "But lets not worry about things like that, we need to return to the soul society and I'd rather not waste time talking about the dead when we can just continue on"

"Of course, we've wasted enough time already" the man says, walking by my side as I continue on "But I have to say, that was an amazing move back there"

"So why aren't we doing this with lord Kuchiki?" Aya asks as I walk in front of her, leading her to the same empty field where I sparred with Sosuke more than once, her twintails bouncing as she rushes to catch up with me and nearly ends up running past me "Isn't it one of your jobs to teach me"

"Yes, I have regular training session with him as you know" I say smiling as I turn to her and put a hand on her shoulder "But I can't train you in his home unless you're the one sparring with him, so I've decided to give you a private session since I thought we could use sometime together and alone"

"Oh" She says happily, nearly hoping up and down "That's really sweet actually, I mean I'd prefer if we did something else together, but sparring is fun enough I guess, maybe I can choose what we do next time, sis?"

I chuckle as she pulls her Tanto from its sheath and toss it between her hands, still smiling as I draw my bloodthirsty blade, practically feeling Kotei and Bloody's excitement to be put against my little sister. Her golden hair bounces on the wind as my white locks flow on it.

"Yeah, I think that would be nice Aya, just find me when I have free time" I say, entering a fighting stance as we stand a few feet away from eachother. She watches me waiting for me to make the first move and announce the start of our sparring match.

"But I'd be lying if I didn't say there wasn't another reason for us being alone now" I say sadly as Aya's expression falls and she looks at the ground with a distant look in her eyes

"Please don't bring that up, kimi" She says weakly as I frown and hang my head

"I just have some advice to give, I don't want to tread back on a painful subject" I say warmly, Aya instantly perking up as I smile once more "I think it could help you....deal with your grief and maybe pains that you'll meet in the future"

Is kinda close to what I was going for. It's okay that she feels guilty, in some ways it is even a good thing. She just needs to keep things in perspective and not let her guilt ruin her chances of making the world a better place, which Kimi (and anyone else who has an eye for talent) knows Aya is totally capable of.

Accept her mistakes, learn from them, and realize that Soul Society still needs her for a lot of good reasons. [i]Kimi[/i] still needs her too, preferably with less sleeplessness and misery.

"....But he wouldn't have died if those quincy weren't trying to come after me, if he had been assigned to anyone else he would've been fine, I was able to fight off his killer by myself its just that" Aya says sadly as I frown "I know it wasn't my fault, but I can't shake the feeling that because I left him he died, I know I messed up and it...its eating me away inside. if I had stayed with him then...then the old man would've just killed him even if he survived fighting the quincy....I can't be sure if he would've survived, but I know if I was there he wouldn't have gone alone"

She grips my kosode, tears filling her bright blue eyes.

"I know, I know that feeling all to well, its the worse kind of grief knowing someone died alone because you weren't there, but letting your guilt consume you isn't the way" I say grabbing her arms as she sniffles and looks up at me, her usual joy completely washed away with the torment she has been keeping inside of herself "Face the problem at hand. I grab her face gently, placing my hands on both her cheeks as I look her in her eyes

I laugh, ruffling her hair as I pick her up and put her on my shoulders. She just giggles and shakes her head leaning over mine and nearly falling off as I stumble from the extra weight she's putting on me.

"Sorry, sorry" She says as I regain myself and sigh "forgot I make you a little top heavy"

I don't say anything and just keep walking, but I do smile. Well I guess I do deserve a bit of a break...even though sparring would also basically be the same thing, I also haven't been around some of my friends for awhile and it'd be nice to sit down and chat with all of them again.

I move to take a sip of sake, before I realize what aizen said and turn to him with confused frown, still holding my dish close to my mouth as he frowns and adjusts his glasses.

"Oh? Well its true isn't it?" He says as Aya turns to him wordlessly, pouting as he smiles at me "I would say while you lack most of the traditional feminine charms most men look for, you have your own fine points, your skill and talent with the blade You're own sense of duty, honor and loyalty, the fact you continue to hold the ideals of bushido despite it no longer applying to you, I particularly find that fascinating. and that's Not even mentioning your poetic talent, kindness, and enduring will. All points that could be find charming, but the captain also seems to forget that your scars do not ruin your face. Honestly I could go on and on about what could be considered charming about you"

"Well of course but that is beauty, not charm" Yoruichi sighs "and...you seem to have a lot of charming points figured out for Kimi"

I stare at Aizen, still feeling confused as to why he'd say something like that as he smiles and shrugs casually

I stare at my glass of sake as Aya continues to try and force Aizen to tell more of what he finds charming about her, as he just looks like a tired teacher with his head in his hands as he tries to find new ways to say what he's already told her since she's been like this for at least an hour now. Tosen made the mistake of trying to get into a drinking contest me earlier, and now I'm slightly tipsy I think, but he's passed out on the table. Things are starting to calm down, and the lack of sake and a challenger to drink with or teasing insults to pass around with Yoruichi gives me some time to wonder just....why aizen decided to defend me like that or why he even thought about something like that. I look at what little sake I have left again, my face flushed from the drink as I ponder his words. I mean it all was a little weird wasn't it? I mean...I'm not sure if its the Alcohol is making me think that but, why would he have things he found charming about me already picked out like that? That's strange isn't it? No one's ever done said anything like that to me before.

"Kimi" Yoruchi whispers into my ear, ripping me away from my thoughts, wiping them away for now "Now seems like a perfect time to get to that...training of yours"

Do you think she could draw one of me? these are actually really well made, never knew Aya was actually this good at painting" Yoruichi says as we huddle together around one of the paintings Aya made for Aizen in her free time, as I smile oh so proudly. Well she isn't wrong, Aya does have quite the talent with a brush, the things she paints are beautiful if sometimes strange, its just really amazing how someone as energetic as her can sit down for hours and make something so beautiful. Its impressive and it always makes me smile when I see her latest piece.

"I could ask, but I think she might draw you as a cat, she tends to do that. I'm not sure exactly why though but...its how she paints I guess" I say happily as I set the painting down and turn to see Aizen, smiling but looking a little annoyed "Oh sorry, sorry"

"Yeah he is right, we shouldn't spend too much time admiring your sister's work" Yoruichi sighs "Its going to get suspicious if we stay out here for too long, and all the time we spend looking at her paintings could be used to help you figure out how to control this thing"

"Exactly, if she can control it we can make some real progress" Sosuke says flashing a grin as his glasses catch a glare.

"Gah, I hate keeping secrets" I sigh as I stand up fully

"Well lets get to it then, you two just observe me for a bit, and if you need to interfere I am sorry for what I am about to do" I say as I head towards the hidden door leading to the training/ study room aizen made even deeper into the earth, the stairway lighting up as I head down

"Oh don't worry, I won't hold a grudge" Yoruichi says, crossing her arms "But is there anyway we can watch her safely ?"

"Just follow me, but I don't think safe is the right word, since she'll try to track us down the second she puts her mask on...if she can't control it" Aizen says calmly "Since she desires a challenge...a fight to the death if you would"

"Well that's real reassuring, but I guess it'd let me adjust to seeing her...like that" Yoruich groans as they leave me, and I walk into the room.

the cold air inside washes over me, as I look around the vast, white colored emptiness the bright lights burning my eyes as I look around and walk a bit to the center. Smoke flows around me with every step I take, curling around my legs as I walk forward and close my eyes. Putting my hand over my mouth, I take a deep breath and let it out to calm my nerves

That's a fair point and I won't deny it, especially with getting body jacked by a sickly gamer who turned out to be a better person than her. But she was crazy and when she was out I was worried she would kill our friends and family (I think she might've attacked Lucy under the right circumstances, I could be wrong though) just to prove a point or something. "Oh really? I couldn't guess, we have to calm her down before she hurts herself" Yoruichi says, kicking to distract me from her blade aiming to pin my arm to what's left of the wall.

I just tilt my head, leaning closer as I see the entire dance before me like the movement's of a play or a story drawn on paper, oh so clear to my eyes! its so plain and simple!

"FIRST" I shout out despite myself.First I block Aizen's swing, second I slash through Yoru's leg, turning my hand into smoke and then back to flesh when its half way down

AND THEY DON'T MISS A STEP. My arm gets imapled to ground, and aizen slides his blade down my blood emperor, aiming for my mask.

Using all my strenght I throw his blade up with so much effort and rip my arm free, turning it to smoke as Yoru slams me against the wall.

Aizen rushes me as Yoru tries to get another hit in. I duck down and stab forward, turning to smoke as Aizen winces in pain, his glasses falling askew as he clips my leg right before it turns to smoke.

I turn back to flesh in surprise and get kicked through another wall into

"An underwater lake!? I yell out in surprise as I plummet towards it

"She's gotten faster!" Yoru says as she looks out the hole she made with me

"She's entirely stronger, just because she looks and sounds like kimi doesn't mean you should underestimate her, all her restrictions are gone, its like she's drunk, but on carnage, honestly it'd be somewhat beautiful if it was so....painful to watch someone like her become like this" Sosuke kun says as I feel water on my back and fall through the water, closing my eyes as I wait for the beat of battle to start again

"Trust me I'm not making that mistake again!" Yoru yells as the rhythm comes back and I smile and get ready to fly "I see I can't play around with her like I usually do now"

I shake my head to get it out of my eyes, cackling as my mask splits open, making it look like its laughing to I think as my fur covered arms dig into the stone behind me as my smoke pours into and surrounds the glowing red ball of energy forming over my open mouth as both Sosuke kun and Yoru rush down towards me. It begins to shriek and then roars as the Cero forms, firing surrounded by smoke as it rips through a few stalagmites burning the water as it goes.

They're blown away for a second, their clothes scorched as they continue coming at me, their free arms covering their eyes.

"I might have to do something drastic here" Sosuke kun sighs as Yoru groans

"Oh, so she can use Ceros? well that's an unwelcome surprise, guess I just have to go all out then, sorry kimi" She says with a smile as I stand up and spread my arms out

Kimi lay on the ground, her mask fading away to smoke as she breathed in and out slowly like it pained her, her clothing tattered smoking, burning and occasionally sparking as she twitched. Her hand was still grasping her zanpakuto, her hair flowing freely down her back.

There wasn't much of a lake anymore, and her two friends sat beside her, their wounds covered by with bandages as we hers, but they were already staining red.

"I can't...she really becomes a monster like that, no wonder why you decided to start stalking her" Yoruichi side, rubbing the deep cut along her cheek, in the shape of three claw marks "She was entirely different from normal"

"Iike I said, all the restrictions she put on herself were gone, and her power was increased" the man said, flipping out his broken glasses from his sleeve "the power of a Shichūkū is something to respect"

"And fear" Yoruichi said, turning towards the calm man, who had a bandage around his neck and a sword's cut down his cheek "I haven't had to fight something like that...well in a long while, and you wanted to see if other people could be like this"

"if it could be controlled" Aizen said "and I think it can, as Kimi was more than the wild beast I met the first time she donned the mask, maybe it just increases blood lust"
