Man, its nice seeing a kid like her smiling so happily. Weird though. But hey if it makes this a memorable vacation for her, its not like I'm losing anything in amazing her until they drive away

"Yvvy tends to sleep in, so when I saw you leaving I made sure she wasn't still sleeping under direct sunlight" Rowen says, sounding a little exhausted

"I knew your leaves looked a little wilted" I sigh as Yvvy smiles sheepishly

"Hey, its not like I was burning up or anything" she says as she takes another sip of water.

"But your bed was drying up" Rowen says "You know having your roots in dry soil is bad"

"You know, I'm supposed to be the one who fusses over everything" Yvvy huffs, pouting as I hand her one of the jugs and sit next to her

"Hey Rowen, I think you need to get outside for a bit, get some fresh air....want to go swimming?" I ask as she frowns

"I do go outside,I'm a reporter remember?" she says, crossing her arms with an angry look

"I mean going outside and not taking pictures and making people want to lynch you" I say with a sneer

"Haaa, are you sure this place even exists? I'm sure I would've heard about it by now, and we've been walking down this gravelly road for like...thirty minutes" Rowen whines, whimpering as she tries to avoid getting any rocks stuck in her flip flops, Yvvy looks worried about her...makes sense since she's the only one who can't just walk bare foot, since I have scales and Yvette has her roots.

"You know one of us could carry you, if you're getting tired or your feet are hurting" She says gently as Rowen shakes her head

"No, its fine. If this all turns out to be a lie, then I'll take you up on it because I am not walking back down this" She says angrily as I turn back to her

"My sister wouldn't lie, its just out of the way, its why there aren't any tourists or anything over here, which is why we'll have the beach to ourselves" I say happily as she pouts and adjusts her glasses

"Besides everyone else you invited of course" She says dully as I chuckle and turn back around and cheer

"SEE, I told you it was real" I yell, as Rowen's jaw drops and Yvvy covers her mouth in shock

"Its...its so beautiful and serene" She says, her voice raising a few pitches as I rush towards the nearly snow white sands and black waters gently lapping at them "Oh...I didn't expect it to be this clean! I thought there'd be brambles or seaweed everywhere"

"How is it this pristine?" Rowen asks as I start to set up, unrolling towels near the coolers I brought with us, dropping the two bags of toys and snacks I was carrying with me as Yvvy opens up that big parasol she found.

"Who cares?"I ask laughing "Come and help us set up"

"Well, I have to say the walk was worth it"Yvette says happily as she stabs the massive umbrella into the sand between the towels I've rolled out "Hope no one gets lost on the way here"

The first one of them to come walking down that long twisting path is a very...very annoyed looking jessie. I smirk as I see her making her way down the twisting road and as she gets closer I can see what she's wearing. A one piece cow print swim suit, with a pair of jeans and boots over it, all tattered and covered in dried mud and dust. Her face face is smeared with sun screen, but is already tomato red and puffy from her snorting and panting. Its also kind of shaded by her shirt, which she's wrapped around her horns apparently to try and keep the heat away from herself. Under her arms she's carrying to duffle bags nearly the size I used to be before I got my upgrade.

"Where's your swimsuit!?" She yells to me as she gets closer. I just shrug

"Hey Jess!" I shout happily "I'm wearing it under my clothes, glad you could make it. Take it you didn't like the walk up here"

"I feel like I'm melting" She groans, tossing her bags to the beach as she rests on the old fence sitting on the hill above it "I'm just going to sit up here for awhile, if you could get me some water I'd be the happiest"

"Local cow gets heat stroke?" Rowen says, instantly making Jessie stand up with fire in her eyes

"COME HERE YOU LIL!" She screams, all the frustration she built up on the way here unleashed as she barrels past me, trying to catch Rowen "Sorry Yvette"


"...please don't kick up sand" My girl whimpers, covering her eyes as I shake my head

"Don't step on either of them or I'm tossing you into the sea" I say calmly as she laughs

"Hey that might be fun" She says as I hear a loud bang next to me. I turn and see annie in a small sandy crater, hanging onto a broomstick, her blue skin covered in a white summer dress, and her raven black hair hidden under a strawhat with fake cat ears on it.

"What the fuck?" I murmur, before I hold my hand to help her up "You alright Annie?"

"Yeah, just....kind of hard to fly with a broom, especially in a dress" She says rubbing her head "Sorry if I scared you"

She's wearing....well she's wearing some of the clothes we got her. So that's good, but I think she might've accidentally grabbed winter ones, cause I don't think anyone would wear a long sleeved shirt in this weather

"Hey, girl are you okay? you don't look so good" I say as she leans on the fence against me, reeking of oil as she rubs a dirty towel over her metal hands "....you aren't overheating or anything right?"

"No just...just wore the wrong clothes, forgot that I could get hot" She says, wiping her forehead as she looks around and shies away "is...is there anywhere I can change"

"Whaaat? I thought we were going to a public beach not....a place without any changing rooms" She mumbles, hiding her face behind her hair, which is no longer perfectly straight

"Well I...don't know how to, I changed before I could learn and I never liked water anyways" She says as I frown and grab her arm as she tries to huddle up and hug her legs "hey wait what are you doing!? WAIT DON'T THROW ME IN!?"

"What are you talking about?" I ask as I see Jessie rise up, taking a deep breath as she starts slamming her fists into the ground, splashing rowen and a few of the cat girls

Actually that's false. Slimes have a limit on how much water they can absorb because slimes aren't just water. The more water a slime absorbs the harder is to control her body because there is less biomass by cubic meter. And trying to take that much water would end with the slime losing control, throwing up most of her water and shrinking to a ridiculous small size to recover. Yes slimes can grow more biomass but it takes time and food.

And the ability of a slime girl to control more biomass is linked to her intellect. So unless you just want to end as a giant blob that's in a lot of pain you will have a upper limit on how much you can grow.

So the only slime girls that could play kaiju are ironically the ones that prefer more intellectual pursuits.

And a mermaid slime you actually can't absorb that much seawater since you ae adapted to the environment and also a mermaid.

What you can do is use your slime shape changing to beat underwater speed records.

So basically you are awesome in the sea and lame in ground as you are a salt water monster girl.
