Sorry was doing some math assignment.

You judge its around 1pm as you step out of the smithy and into the street. There is slightly less people in the market as you walk past using the road toward the lake woods.
After a few minutes looking around the wood you find some nice thick trees that would burn nicely. Now comes the hard part, You've never really had to cut down a large tree before, and when you were a scout you had saws and targeted small trees or scavenged branches.

You start swinging your axe, the first impacts awkwardly and you almost drop the damn thing. After a few more controlled swings you get the hang of the brutish tool. Toiling away in the sun brings the moist feeling of sweat to your forehead and pits. Striking a wedge and cutting deeper into the center brings you close and you circle round to cut more to make the push easier.

(Strength improves by 1)

Whilst doing so you hear the sound of a heavy footfalls and the crunch of leaves. You spin round to see a man clutching a dagger. He edges closer and the smell of cheap ale wafts off him.

Jokes aside though you're both right. As long as we don't talk about crazier/more controversial stuff we could easily get a job as a scribe or something eles like it. Our writing and mathematics skills are probably leagues better than the vast majority of maesters, scribes, clerks, and any of those other positions. For all we know Algebra isn't even in proper use yet. In fact, I'm pretty our basic biology knowledge probably makes us better than most trained in medical practices(still maesters but you get what I mean) the sky's the limit as long as we think smart about it.

Giving your thanks to berek and bidding him a good night you head upstairs exhausted from the day you had. Shooting your enemies, shooting police, dying, not dying? and now youre here.

The bed is straw covered with cloth and provides a soft surface for your battered body. Youre asleep within a minute or two as you succumb to the exhaustion.

"Thank you Berek, It looks great!" as you lift the sword up from the table. You sit down and start eating your breakfast which Berek prepared or threw together. After breakfast and strapping your sword to your belt and gathering your stuff you bid Berek good bye.

You approach the horse seller on the left of the market. He tries to sell you a warhorse but You refuse and ask him for a rounsey for travel. Hes got a nice strong brown horse which he calls Henry. You shake his dirty hand and place 51 silver stags on the table.

He leads out your new buddy on a leash. Its got a basic saddle on it with some bags which contain 7 days feed. Its perfect for your needs you think.

At the food stall which a middle-aged woman tends you get some bread and water. Some preserved meat as well. These supplies will do you fine.

At the clothing vendor you purchase a cloak and a outfit of breeches and a shirt. You already have some boots that'll match the outfit. You also get a leather satchel for your person. You place your inventory in that and the saddle bags. You get a whetstone and a flask from a man on just next door.

The grand total spent was 64 ss and some 17 copper pieces
