Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
Karn had a showdown with a Yautja Hunter, then went looking for a job to pay for ship repairs. His squad faced off against Lord Boros, and Meloka partially ascended. After Karn managed to break Lord Boros' armor, Boros asked his team along for a fight. Your team accepts, after haggling the price, then you all ride along on Boros' ship to your arrival on Planet Jhoria. After brutal fighting, Meloka unleashes her most powerful attack, absolutely destroying the Hive swarm attacking you. Meloka falls, and you hold her close as her life drains from her body, you helpless to save her. As you sit there holding her close, a mysterious stranger approaches you all.

"Do it now." you tell the stranger. The woman simply leaps high into the air, and carves what looks like a deformed "x" or an almost figure-eight in the air with the tip of her spear. You suddenly feel your Super Saiyan form fade, but your body starts recovering from your plentiful wounds, tissue stitching itself back together and strength returning to your weary limbs. Looking down at Meloka, you see the wound in her chest sealing itself shut, and scrapes and cuts across her body and face healing themselves. You look to the deep slashes to your own chest, to see that they have fully healed as well. As miraculous as it seems, both you and Meloka have been healed!

You stare at the strange alien in awe, feeling new strength surge through your body after healing from the beating it took here.
"K-Karn?" you hear a familiar voice whisper. Looking down, Meloka's eyes have opened and she's looking right up at you.
"Meloka." you say overwhelmed, pulling her tight to you. "I thought I'd lost you."
"Ahem." the blue woman coughs, getting both of your attention and really killing the mood. "We have important matters to discuss."
"Yes we do." a small, pink child says, catching everyone off-guard. "First off, who are you, demon?"
"Wait now who're you?" Nappa asks the child, stepping forward in between her, and you and Meloka.
"Be quiet Nappa, I'm the one asking the questions here!"the child demands, catching your friend off-guard to say the least. "Second, how did you travel through time to get here? That's a grevious crime against time, don't you know?"
"I don't have time for this." the blue woman says to the child, then turns to you and Meloka. "I'll come and collect on your debt later, Saiyans."
With that the blue woman disappears into thin air, without a trace.
"Dammit she got away!" the child shouts angrily, stomping her feet. Then, placing a hand to her ear, "Trunks, come in. You okay? Uh-huh, yeah, of course. Report back to the Time Nest, we'll discuss this there."
Turning to your group, she looks like she has a million things to say, but can't choose what to say. So she simply turns her back on your group and disappears as well.

"Well. That was odd." Prince Vegeta says what everyone was thinking, shaking his head.
Meanwhile Tunnip has rushed to Meloka, sliding down in front of you both.
"Mel you okay?"
"Yeah yeah, I'm okay." Meloka says, smiling at her childhood friend. "But what happened while I was out? Last thing I remember was the battle."
You let Tunnip explain to her what happened, how you all almost lost her, and then the blue woman appeared and healed you both while you simply hold onto her, glad she's okay.

"Debt, huh?" Meloka asks, as you stand and set her on her feet beside you. "Seems ominous. But she did save us, so it can't be too bad a debt right?"
"Either way, I'm glad you're still with us." Nappa says, patting an enourmous hand on her shoulder.
"Glad to still be here." she says, patting the giant arm on her shoulder. "But enough about that, time to get back to work. Karn, what's our next move?"

"Ok guys watch out for me. I'm gonna try and get ahold of Boros myself." you tell everyone. Focusing, you see Boros's face in your mind, feeling his overwhelming power as you fought him, and think out towards him.
"Boros! Lord Boros?"
"Wait, Karn?" Boros thinks back, astounded. "You're a telepath as well?"
"I picked it up when Geryaganshoop started talking in my head."
"Amazing. You Saiyans really are something else." he says. "But why are you talking now, this must be urgent."
"Right." you tell him. "We've cleared out where we are, want us to head towards you or continue operating seperately?"
"Fight as you will, Melzargard and myself are perfectly fine. We've found what appears to be an old shipwreck, maybe their leader is hiding out here. Good hunting, Saiyan Karn."
"Good hunting, Lord Boros."

With that, you sever the mental connection and open your eyes, to be greeted with your team fighting off the Hive. Each of your team are fighting at least two of the creatures, but it seems their reinforcements haven't arrived yet. Who will you help first?

Observing the fighting, you decide to help Nappa first. He's holding off two of the creatures, forcing them both on the defensive but is unable to land a tellig blow on either. Burstinng over towards him, you leap over Nappa and the Hivelings, catching one around the middle before it could prepare itself. With a smirk, you lift the creature over your head and bend backward, slamming its oddly-shaped head into and through the ground. As you let go ofthe creature, it disorientedly tries to impale you with its tail. Point flying towards your chest, you catch the tail and halt it mere inches from piercing through you. Grabbing the tail with both hands, you spin in a quick circle, then toss the creature into the air. As you release it, you quickly charge and fire an Energy Wave at the creature, obliterating it. Turning to Nappa, you see he's taken a more direct approach, stabbing the creature's own tail through its skull, killing it. Nodding to each other, you both turn to the rest of the fight.

Meloka is holding off four of the creatures, two already maimed and herself unharmed. Vegeta is facing three, and seems to be having trouble. The same goes for Tunnip, except she's only facing two.

"You help Tunnip, I'll get the prince."
"Got it!" Nappa shouts, dashing towards the creatures fighting with Tunnip. You rush over to Vegeta, plan forming in your mind. You gather energy in your hands as you fly, the creatures and Vegeta oblivious to your charge. As you reach the fight, you reach your arms over the prince's shoulders and fire off your Dual Energy Waves, catching two surprised Hive Drones in their faces and obliterating them. Before the third can react, the prince dashes under it and places his palms on its chest, unleashing a wave of energy that obliterates the creature's upper body.

You both turn to Nappa and Tunnip, just as they finish the last of the last of their opponents. You all turn to Meloka, as she's knocked back towards your group by a tail swipe. The two Hivelings she hadn't yet finished off look towards your group, then flee from you all.
"Hey! Get back here!" Meloka shouts angrily, aura flaring around her.
"Wait." Tunnip says, glaring at the cowardly drones. "We should follow them, find their lair."
"Could be a trap." Nappa says, hand on his chin thinking. "They could be leading us into an ambush."
"Well?" Vegeta asks you. "What do we do?"

"Meloka, you'll follow them close with me." you say, outlining a quick plan. "We'll follow close and spring whatever trap they're setting up. Nappa, Vegeta, Tunnip, hang back a bit. If they try and ambush us they'll get a nice surprise."
"Let's go already." Meloka says impatiently, taking off.
"We're right behind you." Nappa says, nodding.
You simply nod back and take off. Catching up quickly, you and Meloka fly side-by-side, keeping close enough to not lose sight of the Hivelings fleeing you.

After several minutes, you both fly over a ridge and stare down into a massive crater. At the bottom is an ancient ship, whose last flight was clearly a long time ago. The ruins are covered in that same black resin-like substance that marks the Hive's territory, it filling most of the crater as well. As you all fly down, following them towards the ship's ruins, suddenly the ground beneath you explodes, dozens if the creatures flying up towards you and Meloka.

"Meloka, let's go!" you shout, drawing your Energy Blade and charging the creatures. She follows suit, a half-step behind you with her blade drawn as well. You both meet the sudden swarm head-on, blades flashing and carving through the first few Hivelings with ease. You and Meloka push through, cutting down drone after drone. However, you soon realize this was a bad idea. You're both surrounded, dodging razor-sharp blades from all sides as your advance falters.

You're both forced back-to-back, protecting each other from the onslaught of claws and tail spikes. Several attacks make it through your defenses, scoring shallow cuts across your chest, face, and legs. You're both having a hard time holding your ground here, something's gotta give. But what?

"We've gotta hold out!" you shout to Meloka, severing a clawed hand from its body with your blade while you kick a second Hiveling away.
"That's easy to say." she snaps back, impaling one with her blade and firing an Energy Wave through it and into several more. "They aren't letting up!"
"And neither will we!" you shout in challenge to the creatures, decapitating one with a backhanded slash and catching another's tail. You pull the creature to you and toss it over Meloka's shoulder, crashing into several of its kind and creating a small opening for Meloka.

She quickly dispels her blade and charges energy into her hands, then unleashes a salvo of energy blasts into the horde. Her attack devestates the attackers on her side, killing them by the dozens before they can react. Before they can begin to press back, you hear,
"Gaaaaalick Guuuun..."
"Karn, is that?" she asks.
"They're here." you say back.

"We gotta move, now!" you shout and start charging up your Piercing Fist MkII. But before you're ready a tail blade flashes at your eye, forcig you to drop charging it and dodge. You're barely in time, leaning your head to the side. The blade cutsinto your cheek, drawing blood. Forced to defend yourself, you lose a precious few seconds knocking the creature back to gain room to charge again. Before you can get charged up, another one wraps its tail around your throat from behind and yanks you towards itself, slicing deep into your back with its claws and causing you to cry out. Meloka saves you from further damage, swooping in wih her Energy Blade and severing its tail, then decapitating the creature and kicking its body into the nearest others, giving you a moment to catch your breath. It isn't enough time.

"FIRE!!"

"Shit!" you think to yourself, grabbing Meloka and throwing her behind yourself, attempting to shield her from the worst of it. Before you can cross your arms in front of yourself and brace for impact, it hits you. The blast is incredible, the pink energy engulfing you and the attacking Hive. The force of his wave pushes you back further and further, Meloka hiding from the worst of it behind your larger frame. After what feels like an eternity, the attack ends. Dropping your arms and panting heavily, you look around and inspect the damage.

"You okay?" Vegeta asks, dashing over to you both. "I tried to signal what I was doing, but you guys didn't come out so I had to choose and-"
"You *pant* did good." you tell the young prince, who still looks concerned. "You got them and we're still here. That's what matters."
"Damn Karn, the prince here nearly took you out." Nappa says laughingly. "Need to catch your breath, or you ready to check that wreckage out?"

Sitting down, you first think at Lord Boros.
"How goes your fighting?"
"Nothing here is a challenge worth my time." he replies sounding bored. "But most of my men would get slaughtered here, so I must. How goes your end?"
"Found an old ship, going to explore it." you reply. "I'll let you know if anything good is on board."
"Good luck." Boros replies before you cut the connection.

"Lord Boros is fine." you tell everyone. "Going to ask Geryaganshoop if they've got an accurate scan of the planet yet."
"Hope they do." Nappa says, turning his scouter off. "Can't get a good read through whatever this stuff is they spread."

You focus again, thinking at Geryaganshoop.
"Hey Geryaganshoop, its Karn." you project.
"I know who you are." he replies, irritated. "What do you want?"
"Have you been able to get a good scan of the planet? Our scouters are having difficulty down here." you tell him.
"Hold on." he replies, then goes quiet. You think he's having another conversation with someone else, but can't say for certain. You're about to impatiently cough, but his voice stops you.
"Our scanners are having difficulty as well, anything below this coating they spread is hard to get a solid read on. However, there's something big near you in that ruined ship. It only appeared for a moment, and its powerlevel was sitting around 300k. Good luck killing whatever that is."
"Thanks for the help Geryaganshoop." you think at him, then sever the mental link.

"Well?" Tunnip asks you as you open your eyes. "Any good news?"
"Something big's there in that ship, we're gonna go kill it." you reply, standing.
"Ok but how?" Vegeta asks. "Just kick the door down and kill everything that moves?"
"Nah let's split up." Nappa says, looking at the ruined ship. "Lots of different ways in."
"I say we all power up and blast it from here." Meloka says. "Clear out the little ones, leaves the big one exposed."

"Let's do it." Vegeta says nodding.
You all Flare uo your auras and begin charging your big attacks. Vegeta charging his Galick Gun, Nappa his Break Cannon, and Tunnip charging sonething one handed. Meloka starts charging a Final Flash and you get behind her and charge as well, hour chest to her back. She looks back to you and smiles, you both preparing to fire. Slamming your palms together, yours and Meloka's energies combine, a much more powerful Final Flash readied.


"Final!" you both say in-sync.
"Galick Gun!" the prince shouts.

Your attacks had blasted through the ground, tearing it up in a widening cone from you all to the ship. Speaking of, there isn't much left of the ship. Everything above-ground was obliterated, and most of what was below ground as well. But you found what was the source of that powerlevel.

An absolutely massive Hive creature, you all standing knee-high to it. It is heavily armored, with blades sharp-looking blades to match its powerful frame. The beast roars out, its deep bellow sounding similar to something you'd heard before somewhere. It starts flying toward your group, moving surprisingly fast for its size.
"So what now?" Tunnip asks you. "Gonna go all Super Saiyan on it?"

You look up at the fake moon and feel the primal power of the mighty Oozaru, and immediately realize there's a problem: the two powers are fighting each other for control of you. The mighty power of a Super Saiyan and the primal anger of the Oozaru feel like they're clashing inside of your body. The struggle between the two powers feels like it is tearing you apart, as you try desperately to hold onto both together. Soon the strain becomes too much, the golden Super Saiyan power disappearing as quickly as it appeared, and you finish transforming into an Oozaru with your team.
"Doesn't look like it worked." Oozaru Vegeta roars at you. Before you can reply, the Hive Colossus is upon you all, roaring in challenge as it flies straight to you.

As the creature goes to swing, you open your moutth and fire your energy, the blast catching it completly off-guard. The wave catches it in the face, blasting the creature away to crash hard on the ground. Before it can rise, Nappa leaps and crashes on top of the creature with both fists swung down like hammers, the force of the blow shaking the ground. Before its tail can strike, Nappa leaps up into the air, past Meloka and Tunnip who've both charged up Mouth Blasts of their own, firing as soon as Nappa's out of the way. The shockwaves from the blast's impact rock you backward, almost stealing your balance. You hear the creature roaring again, in rage and in pain. As the smoke clears you see it standing, attention focused on Meloka and Tunnip.

Vegeta rushes the creature, attempting to overpower it. However, the beast is stronger than even Vegeta's Oozaru power, lifting the prince and slamming him hard to the ground, causing him to grunt in pain. Before the beast can capitalize, Nappa's closed the distance, landing a solid punch to the creature's gut. The colossus roars in pain, backhanding Nappa away. Before it can either pursue Nappa or attack Vegeta, Meloka and Tunnip each grab an arm. Meloka roars at you,
"Do it!"

You roar in rage, your fist flying into the creature's chest, then through it. The impact causes its hard shell to explode, insides spraying out behind it from the force. You pull your fist back before any of the acidic blood spills on you. You lean back and roar into the sky, beating your chest in victory.

However, your victory celebration comes too soon. Before you can react, the creature stabs its tail deep into your thigh, the wound stinging. You glare down at the dying creature in pure rage, then stomp on its chest as you grab the tail. Pulling hard, you tear its tail free from its body and start beating it with its own tail. Over and over you swing, smashing the creature's broken body with its own tail. Over and over and over you swing, long after the creature stops moving. Tossing its tail down onto it, you turn to your teammates, only to see them staring at something else.

Before they get too close, you all roar out your attacks, five beams of death sweeping through their ranks and obliterating them. Many try to flee, taking to the air to avoid the beams. But there is no escape. Your attacks carve through the attackers, leaving no survivors in their wakes. As your groups' attacks end, you all inspect the damage.

"Yeah its fine." you tell him, picking up Meloka and Vegeta and putting them over your shoulders. "Usually transforming back down knocks us all out. I'm surprised I'm still standing myself. Hey, Melzargard! Can you carry them back to their pod?"
"We can do this." "This is good." Melzargard says, splitting into two beings and lifting Nappa and Tunnip easily. You all take to the air and fly the distance back to the pods. Getting everyone situated, the pods launch automatically back to the ship. As you fly up, more pods shoot down planetside.

When your pods reconnect to the ship, you and Melzargard grab everyone still out and take them to your rooms. You lay the prince down in his bed on board the ship, then carry Meloka to your room. Laying her down in bed, you now have free time with your team all asleep.

Something feels off. You can't place it exactly, but you feel you're being watched. So you pick Meloka up again and carry her into the shared room with Nappa and the others, laying her on a bed with Tunnip. You pull the key from the inside of the door and walk outside. As you lock it, you feel the watching again, more intensely. Placing the key inside your suit beneath your right glove and sleeve, you lean against the door and focus on the feeling. Closing your eyes, you search and focus for the feeling.

There! You move without thinking, raising a hand towards your chest and grasping. Opening your eyes, you find yourself staring down at a young boy, his fingertips piercing through your armor and slightly into your chest.

"Oh?" he says, looking surprised up at you. "You saw through my attack? Lame. That means this is gonna take awhile."
He pulls his arm free of your grasp and takes a few steps back, squaring up to you.

He grabs onto your leg, plants his feet and leaps towards your face, hand changing and shifting, his clawed hand going straight for your eyes. You lean back and duck under his clawed hand, kicking up into the kid's gut with both feet and sending him crashing into the metal ceiling. Dashing back a few feet to regain your footing, you watch the child fall from the ceiling, flip once and land lightly, silently on the ground.

"Nice moves." the child says. "Not many can say they've survived that attack even once, much less twice. This is getting fun."
