The leap from the black forest back home happened in an instant, but I still feel....disoriented, there's a wet haze in my head and a cold, gripping feeling crawling in my skin. for a moment I can't tell up from down, still trying to figure out exactly where Mali took us. Then I hear a somewhat familiar whimpering under me, and turn my head to see the girl Mali brought back to the castle when she was still just an imp. Oh, this would be quite the scare, having three people leap out of mirror while you were cleaning it. Guess I should try to help, might be more scared of my fangs than anything else and shapeshifting is everything but difficult for me now. A quick snap of my fingers and I adjust myself, removing my tail and most of the scales on my legs as well as lessening my fangs down to two. Then I realize she might just be hurt because....well my aunt and Mali just fell on her and she's a little shorter than I am. Well....now I feel a little silly. Standing up, I pull mali off of her with some difficulty as Marla covers her eyes, long since unadapted to the civilized amenities like bright and unnatural lights.

So she growls and keeps her eyes hidden, as mali chuckles and waves to the girl.

"Oh hey jenny, hope we didn't flatten you two much. it'd be a shame to hurt a good girl like you" She says, purring her honey sweet words out as the maid stammers, looking confused and a little concussed "Jenny? didn't hit your head did you? Are you alright"

I can get why they're freaking out about it so much. As unliving things we don't really encounter such things often, so we don't need to know about them as well as normal, living people.
