Before deciding what to do,you feel your stomach grumble, reminding yourself that you havent really had a meal since your fight with the Strength user.

Right, this probably isnt healthy for you...

You reach the phone on the desk and call for the room service, ordering your breakfast. After being notified that your meal will arrive under 20 minutes, you figure its a good idea to take a shower while you wait, all that sea water from the past 3 days gave an uncomfortable smell to your body.

You go to the bathroom and take off your clothes to enter the shower. Damn, all that Hamon training seems to be doing wonders for your body. You have the build of a female athlete! You bet a lot of your classmates would be jealous if you told them you got this physique by breathing alone...

You enter the shower and feel the hot water relax your body, filling you with energy.

By the way, didnt Joseph say something about being able to detect enemies using Hamon on water? Maybe you should try that out, it could be useful.

Better yet, you havent really tested Karma's absorbtion abilities on liquids, what better time to test it than inside a shower?

I don't think Hamon has any effect on the body's need for temperature regulation or heat. It might make Hitomi more resistant seeing as how Joseph was able to take a few hits from Esidisi's boiling blood without flinching, but that's hardly the same as hours-long exposure to extreme temperatures where being in the shade is a requisite for survival.

You call over for Karma Chameleon to absorb the water puddles forming from under your feet. After she touches her pink crystals on the water, her marble body turns from its usual solids tate into a more liquefied form.

Weird... Why is your body starting to feel so heavy?

Karma then falls to the ground, unable to keep her form as you fall with her, completely losing control of your muscle strength.

With some heavy straining, you make Karma Chameleon rise again from the water puddle, forming her figure up to her torso and make her touch her hand crystals, making her reset to her usual state.

Absorbing liquid is definetly a possibility, but mantaining Karma Chameleon's form in a liquified state seems to be a lot harder. Maybe you didnt have enough water to absorb? Your weakened body condition probably didnt help either.

Oh well, better luck next time.

Have KC change back into Marble to push/catch it while Hitomi dodges out of the way. KC holding/catching the refrigerator up should slow it down and give Hitomi ample chance to dodge.

Only Stands can hurt other stands, right? Even if KC can't lift it entirely, it should be just fine even if it gets caught under the refrigerator, at which point Hitomi can recall it and then resummon it.

Dio wasnt thinking much of Hitomi at the beggining since she apparently failed the stand test, but now that she's proving time and time again that she's one of the most capable fighters on the Joestar group, he's beggining to grow desperate, but his underlings are still convinced they can kill one of the crusaders, or at least slow them down, to which he agrees.

Avdol doesnt know if that's related to Dio's panic or not, but he heard on the TV that a lot of people in Cairo are going missing overnight for some reason, with the total report for missing persons being an average of 5 per night

Also bout the towel business, think of it like this, it's still early enough in Stardust Crusaders where this could be considered ship teasing, because the audience doesn't know which of the Guy's she'll end up with. THe two front runners are Jotaro and Kakyoin because they're the closest to her age, but Polnareff is the Darkhorse candidate as the handsome older foreigner.

Since stands are a manifestation of the user's fighting spirit, it would seem logical enough to me that a stand develops as one's fighting spirit is tempered. The more experience you accrue in a fight, the better you and your stand get. The more determined and focused your spirit, the stronger your stand.
At least, that's how I choose to interpret it.

You know guys, if my theory is right, Hitomi may be a hard counter to High Priestess. If HP can only change into mineral/synthetic stuff, Karma could in theory change her into paper or cloth and that could lock the bitch into a form where she'd easily get torn in half.

That would be unsafe for a variety of reasons.

When they wanted to get Esidisi out of Suzy Q., Joseph and Caesar had to do some really complicated mojo to make sure that she wouldn't die from the Hamon exposure. And this was when Esidisi was just a dying nervous system after getting shocked with an absurd amount of Hamon.

Hamon users can generate an excessive amount of Hamon because their own Hamon can't harm themselves. They can use formerly living stuff like meat, oil, and wood to store Hamon charges. But there's a reason why they don't use animals or people to store Hamon; because Hamon *is* harmful to other entities.

Small amounts of hamon is said to produce a tingling feeling in living people, which indicates a certain level of Hamon interaction with organ systems and the nervous system. How much damage do you think a person is going to take if they get shocked with enough Hamon to kill a Vampire or a Pillar Man? It might not be enough to melt them, but it could be enough to cause cardiac dysrhythmias or problems with the nervous system.

If we become too weak to stand/move when turning KC into a liquid, would we get actually harmed if we tried to turn into a gaseous form?Also we really have to play around with liquid form and hamon - conducting hamon through our splashy Stand could find its uses.

Experimenting with various materials is also important, gemstones, metals (we know gold makes us overpowered), rubber, spider silk is extremely strong too, carbon-based materials are actually very tough, and also hella light.

It's possible to heal both your wounds and the wounds of others with Hamon breathing, but the catch is while using it on yourself is easy since you can't harm yourself with your own Hamon charge, a lot of care needs to be put into using it on others. We apply too much Hamon to a wound and it'll microwave it from the inside out. Too little and we don't achieve anything. Honestly if Jotaro ever learned how to use this stuff he'd be near-perfect at it, considering Star Platinum's precision would give him a perfect measure of how much he needs to put in to achieve his desired result.

It's decently inconsistent on the matter of non-users and hamon, though. For instance, you can use it to mind-control someone without any complications for them. And zepelli passed hamon through a frog with zero harm to the frog itself (even though it was delivered by a fucking punch...)
At the very least, we could probably put enough hamon into someone's bloodstream to dissuade Dio from trying to drink from them. Maybe not enough to kill him, but enough that it would harm him more than he would benefit from it.

Oh right, since we've confirmed that Karma can work with liquids (albiet with difficulties), we should think of some potentially useful shit we could do with that.

Currently, all I can really think of is: Changing KC to Liquid Soap, charging KC with Hamon, and having her spread out a shitload of hamon-bubbles as a long-ranged attack. A nod to Caesar.

It might also be worth experimenting with KC in liquid forms and with one of our buddies to see if KC can separate itself and control liquid portions of its body remotely, or separating parts of KC while it's in liquid form results in injuries to the Stand and Hitomi.

Though golden KC probably suffered some dents when fighting Silver Chariot, Hitomi didn't seem affected by it.

Between the silence of your 3 comrades, your previous conversations about Holly with Jotaro and the tone in Kakyoin's voice, this doesnt seem to be good news...

"Holly complained about feeling ill these past few days, so Jotaro was worried that an enemy stand might user be near her." Kakyoin continues. "The SpeedWagon Foundation isnt really abundant with stand users, but they sent the one they had to investigate on the matter at hand. While the stand user isnt able to to communicate very well, the other members from the Foundation got the message something wasnt quite right."

"That's when i tried taking a look at her with Hermit Purple..." Joseph speaks up while still convering his face. "We only found this." He pulls a polaroid photo out of his pocket.

The picture shows what appears to be Holly engulfed completely by green, tree-like vines growing out of her body, similarly to Hermit Purple.

"It seems that Dio's stand also awakened Holly's stand." Avdol points out. "But her kind nature doesn't seem to be able to control it properly, she isnt fit to be a stand user due to her non-violet soul. And that seems to be progressively worsening her condition."

Ponder internally about what Avdol just said about violent souls. Does this mean that Hitomi would have turned out to be a delinquent or some sort of hooligan if she hadn't gotten tangled up with all of this Stand business?

"Is there any way we might be able to stop this?" You ask Avdol again, hoping to save Holly from her own stand.

"Well, it's possible to calm her stand down if we get rid of Dio, since his stand seems to be the influence on triggering Mr. Joestar and his family's stand."

Great, one more reason to get rid of that monster, you can bet he isn't getting away with any of this...

While we weren't a fighter per say we had enough willpower to pull a gun on DIO without shaking when we tried to save Kakyoin. Although we didn't we know how dangerous DIO was it was a pretty ballsy move considering there were two dead guards in the room. Maybe Hitomi always had this fighting will inside of her and she was able to finally bring it out in a time of crisis.

But this condition is something that i've yet to see be resolveds by outside means, either the stand user manages to control his stand properly, or the influence that awakens the stand needs to be extinguished. Even if we found a stand able to heal Mrs Holly, i doubt they'll be able to fix her in her current state.

Jotaro clenches his fists shut and bites his lower lip, likely to try to control his anger in this helpless situation.

"How much time do we have then?" You ask Avdol again.

"Hmm... Hard to say." He responds after pondering for a bit "I'm not able to diagnose her properly since i wasnt able to see it personally, but after the symptoms start, the user has little over than a month to live, maybe two full months depending on the situation."

"That's it then." Joseph stands up after wiping his face "We cant afford to take our time with this journey anymore, especially without knowing how much time Holly has left in her. We're traveling to Calcutta tomorrow!"

"Tomorrow?" Polnareff repeats in surprise.

"Hold on, Old man." Jotaro protests. "I understand that you want to go as soon as possible. But Hitomi hasnt fully healed from her fight with the Strength user, what if an enemy stand user takes advantage of that?"

"But--" Joseph tries to think of a counter argument for Jotaro's point, but after realizing he's speaking with his emotional side, he takes a deep breath and recomposes himself.

"Alright Hitomi." He looks over to you to ask you a question. "I'd rather get to Egypt as soon as possible, but we'd rather do it while everyone's at their best. So if you feel like resting for some more time, i'm... fine with that." He sighs before finishing the last part of his sentence.

Sure, it might be dangerous to get caught in stand user crossfire while you're not fully healed, but staying still while Holly's condition deteriorates sounds a lot worse in your opinion. You doubt you could even live with yourself if you let Jotaro's mom die like that.

"Hitomi's one tough cookie!" Polnareff helps in proving your point "Even while injured, she managed to help me out during the fight with the Devil stand user when she barely got out of the shower! I think she can handle a slight headache for a few days!"

He could have left out that part about the shower, but he manages to solidify your argument, which makes Jotaro ponder for a bit.

That's odd. Even after the terrible news about his mother, he still seems able to consider you enough to object in rushing to save his own mother. Given how Jotaro is, its hard to say if it's because he's just being cautious of enemy stands or afraid of putting you in danger.

I'm hoping Jotaro is reconsidering his stance on trying for Hamon, he's seen us do some pretty amazing bullshit with it so far. Polnareff might also try for it, considering what he's seen.
Barring that, I hope they at least train with their stands some more. Jotaro's had little experience with his so far, and Joseph was always weak in the stand department.

That would be extremely dangerous. Fire is plasma, which is even worse to work with then gas. Maybe it might work under some kind of strong magnetic field or under glass to keep it together instead of dispersing, but even then, if we do do it, we'd need to have extremely fine control of our stand at that point, if we even absorb it.
