"Hopefully, that will be a wakeup call," you remark.

Ox King and Nam hold their positions, and Devilman stares down at Cyto with a frown. Mr. Satan, Pamput, Pirozhki, and that blonde guy hesitate, then ultimately begin to advance again.

Cyto grins as the warriors maintain their resolve to fight.

"That's right," he encourages. "Keep coming. I'll humiliate and destroy you one by one, you insects."

"Insect?" the blonde man growls. "How dare you compare me to something so insignificant and hideous?!"

He rushes at Cyto, actually displaying impressive form as he attempts to strike at the beast's neck.

Rather than dodge or block, the monster actually cranes its neck out to offer the man an easier target.

"Idiot!" the blonde man shouts as his chop connects, only to whimper in horror upon seeing that it did absolutely nothing.

Laughing, Cyto grabs him by the arm, pulling back a green fist to deliver what is likely to be a fatal blow. Before he can get the chance, however, Mr. Satan rushes him from behind, leaping and landing a kick at the back of his head.

Cyto releases the blonde man, turning to Mr. Satan, who continues to attack with a flurry of attacks of all sorts. The man's persistence and technique are both admirable, but he's in way over his head, here.

The blonde man, seeming to have found his nerve once again, gets back up and joins Mr. Satan in attacking the monster.

"Hogging all the fun?" Pamput asks, slamming his fists together. "No way. Let me in on this."

He moves forward and joins the attack, the three warriors striking the monster over and over as the others watch. You can easily tell that Cyto is not taking damage, and that all these three are going to accomplish at this rate is exhausting themselves, but they seem blissfully unaware.

Ox King and Nam seem to be having a conversation, and Pirozhki is keeping his distance for the moment. Devilman maintains his position in the sky, still seeming to be listening to something.

Don't know what the OX King was able to learn on King Kai's planet. The only idea I had was to trick Cyto somehow into humoring these guy and pretending to be affected by their assault by moving slowly to the edge of the ring and hoping the Ox King, Nam, or Devilman had some lucky shot knocking him out since he isn't aware that they might be stronger then the three fighting him now.

This is their fight. You just have to trust that they'll find a way to win. Or, at the very least, hope that Cyto does not murder them all.

The three fighters continue their attacks against Cyto, before the large green warrior shrugs his shoulders, and lets out a small surge of his energy.

The blonde man is sent flying from the ring instantly, and Konattsu catches him before safely setting him down without injury. Pamput and Mr. Satan are sent sliding back, but while Pamput seems unable to offer much resistance, Mr. Satan looks like he might actually hold on.

As Pamput falls from the edge, Ox King grabs hold of him and throws him back into the ring. Devilman begins to swoop down toward the green menace, throwing a punch that the monster easily avoids.

Not seeming discouraged, Devilman circles around, landing in front of the monster and greeting him with a smirk.

"What's with that look?" Cyto asks. "Do you really expect to do much better than those weaklings?"

"But of course," Devilman replies. "I expect to kill you."

Cyto laughs, and you can see Cell smirking from the other side of the ring. But, you can also sense something. Movement as someone or something circles around Cyto. In fact, you can sense a small bit of life energy as you focus on that movement.

"Excuse me," a voice from nowhere says to Cyto, who spins around in shock.

"What the-who the Hell was that?!" the monster demands.

You can sense movement as whoever got Cyto's attention steps away, and see Devilman clap his hands together, making several movements with his arms and hands before holding them toward Cyto.

"Devilmite Beams, serve me well!" he calls. "Send this wretched beast straight to Hell!"

"Huh?" Cyto asks in confusion, turning back to Devilman.

Cell scowls. "Dodge, you imbecile!"

Devilman chuckles wickedly to himself. "It's too late, I have you now!"

Cyto actually looks nervous, and takes a step back as Devilman swirls with dark energy.

"Darkness, Explode!" the costumed fighter yells, firing off his attack.

Cyto manages to dodge, barely, and the beam flies off harmlessly into the distance, dissipating soon after. He looks down at his attacker, who is already preparing to strike again.

"I'll rip you in two!" the monster declares angrily.

Devilman smirks. "Then come and get me, but you'd better be careful. If I can fire this thing off before you reach me, you're dead!"

Cyto hesitates.

"This should buy the others some time to work out a plan," you suggest as Spike and Cyto continue their standoff.

"I don't know why they're bothering to try," Lapis comments. "I can tell that a few of them are just idiots, but surely Ox King at least knows how outclassed they are."

"We shouldn't even be humoring this," Lazuli agrees. "The instant Cyto decides to end this, they'll all lose."

"I'd say it gives us a chance to study Cyto's fighting style," Piccolo tells them. "But the difference in power is so massive that he doesn't even really need to fight. He can swat them aside any time he wants."

"So, why isn't he?" Yamcha asks.

"He's afraid," Goku answers.

"Why would he be afraid of them?" Yamcha asks in confusion.

"Are you saying that attack is just as strong as that devil claims it is?" Piccolo asks.

"Well, I've never really seen it in action," Goku admits. "He tried to use it on Tofoo once, but Tofoo kept getting out of the way. He seemed pretty confident about it, though, and Tofoo believed him. I think Cyto's in the same position.

In the ring, you hear a pair of yells as Pirozhki throws both Pamput and Mr. Satan into the air at Cyto. The two fighters strike the monster, but to no avail. As they fall back down and land in Pirozhki's hands, Cyto looks down, and Devilman makes his move.

"Darkness, explode!" he roars, firing off another beam.

At that moment, however, Pirozhki had already thrown both Satan and Pamput into the air again, and as they strike at Cyto, the monster fearfully moves back, causing him to crash into Mr. Satan, and for Pamput to go higher than he otherwise would have; right into the path of the beam.

"What?!" Spike shouts. "No!"

The beam hits Pamput dead center, and you see the fighter suddenly begin to twitch in the air, his body seeming to bloat before bursting, exploding into chunks.

As Mr. Satan falls to the ring floor, both Cyto and Devilman look in horror as what remains of Pamput falls to the ground.

"L-ladies and gentlemen," you hear the reporter gulp. "I-I don't know how to explain what we've just seen, but....the fighter known as Pamput is not only eliminated from the tournament, but he seems to have been accidentally killed by one of his own teammates."

Despite consideration of just ending the fight now, you decide to let them keep trying, hoping that they'll find a way to manage a win over this monster. Cyto certainly looks frightened after having seen the Devilmite Beam in action, so that's something.

Cell is scowling up at his creation, frustration and anger plain on his face. That makes you smile, just a bit.

"W-what did you just do?" Cyto questions.

"There's no force in all the universe quite like negative energy," Devilman recovers enough to answer. "It exists within nearly every living thing. I can manipulate that energy, and cause it to overwhelm my opponents. No matter how powerful they are, their own darkness will swallow them up."

Cyto flinches as Spike glares up at him, and you see Cell's look of frustration grow more intense.

"As I said, one shot is all that I need," Devilman boasts. "How much longer will your luck hold, I wonder?"

Cyto and Spike lock eyes, neither one making a move; Spike knowing that Cyto will dodge, and Cyto knowing that any attempt to attack could lead to his horrible death.

With the two of them focused solely on each other, Ox King hurls Nam into the air, sending the warrior so far above that you can't even see him.

The large warrior puts a foot back, and cups his hands.

Master Roshi chuckles.

"KAMEHAMEHA!" the Ox King shouts, thrusting his hands toward Cyto and unleashing a blue beam of light.

Cyto doesn't even seem to see it coming, and while the attack isn't enough to do any real damage, it is able to push him through the air a short distance, leaving him hovering over the ground outside of the ring when he breaks free.

"You thought you could beat me with a weak attack like that?!" he growls. "I'll kill-"

"Uh-uh-uh," Spike speaks, drawing a nervous look from Cyto. "You shouldn't take your eyes off of me, friend. A few seconds is all that I need."

Cyto gulps and looks down at Devilman, and with his attention focused once more on the costumed fighter, he doesn't notice Nam rapidly descending toward him. The fighter's arms are crossed in front of his body, and when he collides with Cyto, his arms cross over the back of the monster's neck.

Once again caught off-guard, Cyto is pushed to the ground, slamming face-first into the dirt with Nam on top of him. The human warrior flips off of Cyto, landing back in the ring.

"Hmm, nicely done," you hear Spike comment from within the ring.

"Finally, some good news!" the reporter shouts. "This team of warriors have defeated one of Cell's terrible monsters!"

Cyto pushed himself back to his feet, pure fury on his face as he looks toward his remaining opponents.

"You're going to die!" he vows. "Do you hear me? All of you are dea-"

A beam of light pierces his right leg. Screaming, Cyto turns around, only for another shot to pierce his left shoulder. Another beam strikes him, and another, and another, his body jerking and bleeding as he's blasted again and again by a frowning Cell.

"Father!" Cyto shouts in confusion and desperation.

"I have no need for failures," Cell tells him, firing a beam through his left leg.

"I-I can kill them!" Cyto promises. "If you just let me-AGH!"

A beam pierces him through the back, and he trembles in agony as he lies brokenly at the feet of his "father".

"You had your chance," Cell tells him darkly, firing a blast of energy that incinerates the broken monster, leaving nothing behind.

That smug smirk returns to Cell's face. "Please, I created Cyto specifically as a test to find out who were real warriors among your side. I never intended for him to survive, and I'm not going to shed a tear now that he's gone."

He steps into the ring, staring at you for a moment.

"Well, you were barely a match for me in my previous form, so I doubt you're any sort of threat to me, now," he comments. "Still, I know well enough that you're full of surprises, so I'll provide you with a true challenge."

Cell leans forward, his body trembling once more as something massive moves from his body and up through his throat. His mouth stretches impossibly as a massive egg falls forward, landing on the stage in front of you.

"Next up, we have world Champion Tofoo Brief facing off against another of Cell's monstrous offspring!" the reporter tells everyone. "The champ seems confident, and I think this next monster had some serious bad luck to be put against him."

The egg begins to rock, and cracks quickly spread across it. Some small piece of eggshell is pushed up, and you can see a bright light shining within the oversized egg.

Suddenly, the entire shell shatters, and something shoots from it and leaps into the sky, a small, orange blur that you fail to adequately track, finding yourself surprised as it appears in front of you.

It essentially looks like a tiny Cell, but orange, and without wings. It stares up at you, eyes seeming to study you as quickly as possible while it waits to see what it should do with you.

"Lipid," Cell addresses the creature. "This is Tofoo. Hold nothing back against him, do you understand?"

The little monster chuckles wickedly. "Yes, father. I'll destroy him."

Cell grins. "Good. I'll leave it to you, then."

Cell leaps from the ring, and the tiny monster leaps back to gain some distance, taking up a fighting stance and staring across at you.

A green light surrounds your body as you place your right foot back and raise your arms into defensive positions. You aren't sure what to expect from this monster, but Cell promised a challenge, and you expect he meant it.

You'll start things out simple. Letting him have the first move, you'll fend him off until an opening for a counterattack presents itself. Even if that isn't enough to give you a quick victory, it should at least give you some idea of what kind of opponent you're facing.

The little monster chuckles. "This will be fun!"

Lipid moves, shooting past you as a blur, and kicking you in the face as you turn to face him, sending you sliding back across the ring. Laughing, he fires off a barrage of energy blasts, and you retreat into the air, only for him to shoot up after you, bringing his fist into your stomach and causing you to hunch over in pain.

Growling, you try to elbow the back of his head, but he blasts you higher into the air before you get the chance. You look down to see him smirking up at you, and angrily fire off a Bear Shout.

Next thing you know, he kicks you in the back, and you're sent crashing into the ring below. Pushing yourself back up, you sense him charging once again, and roll out of his way, letting him punch the floor of the ring.

His other hand thrusts toward you, firing off an energy blast that sends you rolling even further, near the edge of the ring. You stop yourself, and get back to your feet, finding the annoying little imp glaring at you.

Damn thing is fast, and he packs a punch as well.

Focusing your energy, you rush forward, racing right for your little opponent.

He smirks, meeting you half-way and slugging you in the face, only to go wide-eyed as you turn your face back into his fist, and retaliate with an uppercut that throws him back and to the ground.

picks himself back up, only for you to send him skyward with a powerful kick. You give chase, managing to give him a good blow to the stomach, then repay him for earlier by firing an energy blast into him that sends him up further into the air.

You give chase again, but this time, he's able to block your punch with his foot, and the two of you break apart, rushing each other and clashing mid-air. The two of you pass one-another, turn circle around, and clash again.

This creation of Cell's is no slouch. If you aren't careful, he'll win this battle. But, if you keep your head on straight, you can do this!

I don't know som, I see where you'd go with this but would most consider it unethical to destroy pure, literal evil? Like, not as in a person, but evil made physical? I don't think it would be on the level of brainwashing or forcing a personality change, more like clearing the evil gunk in a person's spiritual arteries. Just my opinion on it but to be fair that's basically what dbz hell->reincarnation does, so I honestly can't see the higher divine being against what is essentially a redemption beam. You could also put limits to it such as the target in question being to weak to resist physically and still require an opposed will check. That way it's possible to allow this move in quest but still not game break. I'm all for it personally. It isn't nearly as grey area as straight up dispersing life force anyway, more like the paragon option. Also, would Tofooshould be considered pure currently, right? You give chase again, but this time, he's able to block your punch with his foot, and the two of you break apart, rushing each other and clashing mid-air. The two of you pass one-another, turn circle around, and clash again.

This creation of Cell's is no slouch. If you aren't careful, he'll win this battle. But, if you keep your head on straight, you can do this!

It's over, that little creep just needs to touch the outside of the ring, and he looks like he's unconscious. You might have done him a favor; he won't feel a thing when Cell kills him.

At the very last second, Lipid manages to stop himself, clutching his head as he glares in your direction.

"Alright, I'm tired of this!" he shouts with rage. "Get ready to die!"

Looking down at Lipid, you can see the mix of rage and fear on his face as he struggles to sit up. Clearly, he has a better idea than Cyto did in terms of what failure means for them.

He springs up, but rather than attacking you, he climbs into the air, and focuses his gaze on Cell, who has stepped into the ring and now looks up at him with a frown.

"You're not going to kill me!" Lipid declares, holding his hands out toward his "father".

You see Cell tense ever-so-slightly for a second, then glare up at Lipid as he takes a somewhat shaky step forward.

"No!" Lipid screams, seeming to strain even harder as he looks toward Cell.

Cell continues to move forward, though you can't tell if his slow speed is due to whatever Lipid is trying to do, or just for dramatic effect.

In either case, Lipid is clearly terrified, and you can't help but feel a twinge of pity for him as he begins to back away through the air.

Finally, he turns tail and flies off as fast as he can.

You hear Cell give a little chuckle, and he speeds after the fleeing monster, displaying a speed that puts Lipid's, incredible though it may be, to shame. In an instant, he's in front of his creation, and Lipid barely has time to scream before Cell strikes, delivering a punch to the orange creature's stomach that makes it explode into bloody chunks.

Taking a moment to shake the blood off his fist, Cell returns to the ring, landing a short distance from you.

"Alright, Tofoo, you've proven that you won't be a complete waste of my time," he acknowledges. "You may exit the ring, now."

Goku keeps his eyes locked on Cell, and you can see most of the others doing the same, save Tenshinhan, who is still locked in deep meditation, and the old masters, who are already making their way into the ring.

"Good luck," you call to the two old men as they step into the ring.

Neither answer, and you look to the others, who still seem intently focused on Cell.

"What's wrong?" you question.

"You didn't feel it?" Lapis asks as he looks toward the ring.

"Cell's energy, when he went after that orange runt," Piccolo goes on. "It was just a glimpse, but his power is-beyond description."

"I didn't expect him to be this strong," Kori comments, sounding both nervous and excited.

Goku doesn't comment, but the look on his face shows that same excitement, though less of the fear and surprise.

Looking to the ring, you see Cell hunched over, another massive egg dropping from his mouth and landing on the floor of the ring. It soon begins to crack, and you see two black horns poke through the top of it. A head bursts from the shell, and the body follows. Overall, this new creature resembles Cell's first form, except for a clubbed spike on the edge of its tail, and a head that resembles that of King Cold.

"Well, that's a bit more...strange than the last two," Yamcha comments.

As you look toward the creature and feel for its energy, you discover that it is indeed powerful. However, you get the feeling that its might is still nothing when compared to Cell. You would say this thing is at least as powerful as Lipid was.

But what about Roshi and Shen?

A quick glance reveals far more power than you were expecting, and you get the sense that there's more hidden within there. Try as you might, though, you are unable to read the full extent of it. Perhaps they're keeping it suppressed from prying minds, or perhaps there's something else at play.

"Nucleo, these two are your opponents," Cell addresses the beast. "Have fun."

The creature laughs, swinging its tail back and forth as Cell exits the ring. Roshi and Shen drop into their stances, and ready themselves for a face-off.

Why cell recovers so fast? Back when King Piccolo made his kids, he always spent a good deal of energy, and it was specially taxing on him when he created quality ones like tamborine and specially when in his deathbed, used up all his lifeforce to create Jr.

1: Piccolo created Drum with no obvious repercussions once his youth was restored. Considering its performance against Tenshinhan, it was likely stronger than Tambourine, the strongest Piccolo created in his elderly state

2: He had just been impaled through the chest and seemed certain of his own demise, even without spitting out Junior's egg

3: Doctor Gero's drones not only collected cells, but data on techniques and biology. Many of these techniques were improved upon in the creation of Cell (this was a thing in canon, as well)

About point one, by the time he created Drum, he was complete garbage compared with how powerful young piccolo was and therefore was inexpensive to his power at his prime. Meanwhile, the Cell Jrs have been shown as being only a few steps below Perfect Cell himself, as seen with how they wrecked plenty of ass and comparing the performance of Goku VS cell and the other saiyans vs cell juniors, they aren't too far in power. He still needed to pay as much energy as they are worth it, and in this case the cell jrs, at least the one who faced tofoo, was as strong if not stronger than a krillin and below semi-perfect cell considering its performance with Tofoo. Not exactly something he can shit out without repercussions to his ki and energy reserves, and it is going to be even more taxing when he creates jrs as strong as the ones in canon.

Anyways, Cell's very concept is fairly retarded, neither krillin nor chiaotzu were that strong to give him a power boost that is so much more than the sum of their combined powers and in canon it was barely tolerable if only because the androids were as strong as pre-time chamber saiyans and were pretty much tailor made to magically boost him to the levels he achieves if those two specific guys were absorbed.

Let's just chalk it up to the fact that in canon, Android 17 and 18 were still part mechanical so while he got a massive power boost from absorbing both of them, I can imagine absorbing and integrating mechanical parts is a real pain. The Krill-dog and Chiaotzu probably gave a similar power boost because they were as strong as they are without any mechanical augmentation.

As fitness people might say, they're natty while the Androids were on mechanical steroids.

If Cell in canon truly took in everything the Androids had, he'd have infinite energy too, but he doesn't. So not 100% was truly absorbed.
