Plus, I already have the base for a MGS skirmish I worked on a while back. It's kinda weird, though. Since I wanted a skirmish with a huge map, movement/range is somewhat abstracted. Players would have their operator card with custom portrait and all. The idea is to have crazy customization options (think innawood). Mechanically you'd have three stances with different bonuses to accuracy/detection/speed.

There would also be a Mother Base side, where you'd invest funds into weapon/item/vehicle development (think Valkyria Chronicles).

But that would be after EoNBS, Bastard's Boars, CKII civ, altWWII pilot quest, Homeward reboot, Skirmish about spaceship fleets, Weird Desert of Kharak/TTGL quest.

I agree; we can't surrender to the status quo and just let the fun happen. This is a setback, not a game over. Not yet, at least.

That said, if we chimpout right now shit is going to go very wrong very fast. At the very least we don't have an objective or an exit plan. This isn't the sort of quest where "punch shit, rant angry/crazy, hope for the best" will end well. Come to think of it this isn't the sort of quest where anything will end well but hey.

I say give it another session or two, see what happens. Right now we just woke up from a coma, we don't know jack shit. We need a plan, and in order to have a plan we need information. Plus, in order to function we need to not be arrested, and chimping out is a good way to get arrested or at the very least confined to our hospital bed under armed guard. They won't let us do jack shit if they think we're crazy and/or violent. So that means we need the CMO to release us from the hospital, legitly, so we get our freedom back and we can start gathering information and making moves.

Yeah, HSCI and Commander are going to be neck deep in whatever's going on. Only concern is they might not be the ones in charge; SEELE etc. in the main series. If we just take out their man on the spot they might be able to assume direct control or something. It's also possible that Commander and HSCI aren't totally working with SEELE; Gendo wasn't, in the main series. If that's the case then taking them out might actually make things worse. Either way, we need to know more about those two and what they're planning.

Regarding the main chambers or the MAGI or other highly restricted locations, well, that's just a location. If we're going to that much trouble just to get there then we need something just as important to do when we arrive. I don't want to rely on the Quebecois to throwing us a bone. Not for something so critical, at least.
