All players can do the following moves:

[*Observe] 3AP 2d12+MAR+AP Hit: 16 Observe to discover information. The higher degree of success the more information revealed.

Four of the team convene to the next car. Prefect notices a Kvintan couple. They are arguing from the tone. Past them a passenger tenses up and briefly looks at Julien for a moment. Prefect is suspicious. Alex comes behind Prefect and noticed the man waiting for the bathroom is rather stiff. He’s hiding something. The snow gets heavier outside and all outside the window is a blur.

At the dining hall Fortuna sits at a table while Gairan continues serving the patrons at the bar. They converse about family and work. One of the patrons complains about how the train was delayed for some reason. It seems they’re luggage was left back at the station. Over on the far table Gairan overhears a conversation over on the far table or as much as his Kvintan will allow.

???: Bahhh. Bandits? All the way out here and on a moving train no less!? Impossible.

???: I agree with Dimi. The train is already moving. There is no way anyone could just come as they please.

Lirenis stops the two Chrysian women. They seem happy to find another traveler from Southwestern Chryse like them.

Girl 1: Someone who can understand us! Where are you from?

Girl 2: Oh that hat is adorable. Isn’t it Helenus?

Helenus: It is. You sound Capitian, or you at least talk like one. Your accent is different though. What do you think Cassandra?

Lirenis is slightly taken aback by how observant this woman is.

Cassandra: Don’t scare her away now. Where are our manners. I’m Cassandra and this is my sister Helenus. We’re Chrysian nobles. What brings you here?

El Mamut runs into the man full tilt knocking him away from Alex. This startles the other riders in the car. Alex uses this distraction to walk away. Prefect prepares for the fall out and positions himself near the suspicious purple-shirt.

Julien goes back to the other car and joins Lirenis with the twins. As they converse they notice the girls seem nervous but are doing a good job of hiding it. Northern Chrysians are more used to the cold so they’re shaking isn’t shivering. Lirenis notices they relax once they hear Julien is with Lirenis. Cassandra tells the pair that she and her sister are visiting family for a short while. Lirenis can tell that’s not the whole story. Off the corner of her eye she sees a door close. That sound from earlier must have been the door.

In the dining hall, Gairan and Fortuna continue their surveillance. They aren’t the only ones watching however. The din of the dining car grows louder. People are growing impatient and want their orders taken.

Julien and Lirenis follow the twins. They are holding each other’s hands.

The Minder walks over to the bar and barks a drink order at Gairan. Gairan’s Kvintan only catches a bit of the order. Fortuna notices one of the men walking away. The patrons grow more impatient.

My intention is to spend my next turn hidden in the restroom ensuring my Hades is charged from my shield (If I remove the Solmeryzt catalyst that would reduce target LI, the maximum damage roll of 12 is just about unable to penetrate my 10 LI+2 DR. Venmarite causes no net change since it gives +2 PEN but also +2 LI.) before concealing the Hades on my person again (remembering not to leave the restroom with Solmeryzt slotted into the charged Hades).
