She nodded, and donned her wooden mules before leaving the room towards the kitchens.

Looking out through the window, we see that she was right. It looked like the sun still had a bit to go before it caught up with us, though there already were a few birds chirping out in the nearby trees.

Stella curled up around the pillow now that she was alone in the bed, hugging it with arms and legs and letting go of it with her mouth, making a lovely mess as the drool-soaked, warm pillow pressed up against her face.

Washing ourselves is mostly just a way to finish waking up. We can always just use [Clean], after all.

Lyann had left our clothes ready atop a chair by the bedside. A three-parts suit in thicker-than-usual fabric, lined up with silk on the insides. Well, we are further north than usual, but its not as cold as back home during the winter.

In fact, it barely felt fresh right now. We sat on the chair and slipt our feet down the pants, then hopped into them as we got up, because fuck slipping one leg at the time like everyone else.

A soft double knock on the door.

"Is that you, love? Come in."

Lyann spun the door's handle and pushed the food cart in, the scent of hot tea and scrambled eggs flowing into the room ahead of her, just as surely as her long, soft ponytails danced in the air behind her.

After all this time, its still a little surprising that neither herself nor anyone else found anything odd about the almost-blothes that only dancers can get away with almost-wearing, but not one of the house staff had even blinked or stared when she walked into the kitchen with wooden sandals and what was essentially a wider-than-usual scarf hanging down her front and back to ask for breakfast, stuffed a food ccart, and walked back to the room.

The house staff conversation resumed naturally, and noone thought to mention her other than to say some obvious compliments about her before going back to their everyday routines.

"There are no chickens in the local foodgeon." - she informs us as she uncovers the steamy pot - "So I hope you like duck eggs."

That was a large amount of scrambled eggs.

From Lyann's POV, the scene in front of her was perfect. Her beloved Master (even if he insisted he was not) was resting in a warm bed while cuddling his adorable little sister.

The fact that he had trouble telling how old a beastkin was on first sight had been a bit hard to get used to, but she had come to do so already.

For her, the pre-teen cuddled up with Eldric under the sheets was a lovely, cute, soft and happy child. It was as easy to tell as the difference betwen night and day, regardless of however her body happened to look like.

The redhead was more than intelligent enough to, on an intellectual level, understand that her beloved Master worked... different. He saw things without the benefit (or hidrance) of 'the system,' as they called it whenever the topic came up in conversation, which wasn't often.

Right now, as she sipped her team and leisurely read over The Applied Theory of Abient Mana, she allowed herself a smile when her Master squeezed his arms gently around his little sister and pulled her unto himself, the child letting out a happy 'waaa~' in her sleep and going 'om' as she suddenly grabbed the large, fluffy pillow with her teeth. To her, it was quite clearly the heart-warming scene of a couple of siblings sleeping together.

Eventually, her Master woke up, and greeted her, which made her quite happy. It always made her happy when he asked her to do things, even if she'd prefer that he come to accept that she had never stopped being his and just told her to do, rather than requested, but, his kindness was why she loved him so much, so, yeah.

The house staff was organizing the day's tasks when she rolled into the kitchen, and greeted her politely, then helped her prepare breakfast for their masters, apologizing for the lack of 'chicken' eggs, whatever a chicken happened to be.

There was a lack of fresh bread, too, but there was nothing she could do about it right now. Baking would have taken much too long, though she did decide to take advantage next time her Master went to sleep and come down to the kitchen to prepare some. She could always just store it fresh and hot into her [Item Box] and retrieve it later as needed, after all. She had done as much with plenty of hot meals before, after all, and even now had a nice, sizeable stock of treats she knew her Master liked.

"Is that you, love? Come in." - called her Master from inside the room after she gave the door a couple of soft knocks

While he was looking away, she frowned at the eggs, and briefly wondered on the viability of resetting the local foodgeons until at least one produced chickens on its first floor, but... as far as she knew, dungeon spawns were locked depending on geographical location. A shame.

“Waa~” - the child cooed happily as her big brother gently brushed, caressed and kissed her awake, then sat up while rubbing her eyes and flicking her ears to a side and the other.- “Good morning...”
“Good morning, sleepy head.” - Lyann's Master gave his little sister another kiss, and softly rubbed her head fur back into place- “Breakfast's ready.”

She took a break. She didnt get sent to school to get a degree or a title or a fancy plate. She went to study abroad to grow and mature, and she's certainly doing that here.

We arrive at the small tree in the garden of Mako's palace, and gently catch the shadow monkey beastkin that had jumped down on us with a spear.

Thankfully these girls are pretty low level (relative to us) for now. First, we grabbed the spear behind its head, then pulled on it and drew the girl in while she let out a little cry, then hugged her and patted her head until she calmed down enough to recognize us.

"Oh!" - she lets out when she realizes its the 'imperial consort'

Really, guards should call alarm first, THEN dive in. The Evil Overlord's guidebook even suggests they should never go in alone, too.

The petite shadow squirms for a couple of moments more, but finally relaxes as she gives up in escaping our (honestly gentle) hug.

For her, its like being secured by the pádded bars of a rollercoaster. Our arms aren't really squishing her, and they're 'padded,' but under that soft padding, there's unyielding metal. So, she has as much chance to push our arms open as she has of growing an extra tail at will.

"Eh, she's cuuute." - Stella's ears point forth as she walks around us with a 'can I hold her' look on her.
"You think so?" - we tell our imouto while holding the shadow in place.

In the end, she just lets us 'pet' her while we walk over to Mako's personal space.

At least, she didn't take 'all' the guards.

Stella was having fun. She had grown up with Daddy, mommy Linda, and mommy Ellie in a warm house full of loving siblings, some older, some younger.

She loved every one of them, and knew they loved her back.

But she was a wolfkin, and she needed to wrassle with the pack. She knew she had to be soft and careful with all her siblings. Even with her daddy and both her moms.

Zoe and Ellie had nice pointy ears, but they were either almost mute, or spoke in other language.

The smells were wrong, too. Not bad in any way. She loved the scent of every single one of them... just... different.

Somehow, though, Mako and Ren smelled just right all the time. She knew she wasn't the only one that thought so, and thought it was interesting. It seemed as if everyone with a real nose could tell that they smelled just right, with a happy and gentle scent, at all times.

Therefore, she automatically loved the both of them. But, their ears were also mute, and they had no tails. That was a shame.

Stella was far smarter than she let on. Smart in a physical way. Maybe even a physical genius? She used juuuust the right amount of strenght whenever she played with the people she loved. If she bit, she did so as if her family were made of paper. Their neck and ears were specially delicate.

She never bit them there, not even while playing, not even when she wanted to show them how much she loved them. In her tribe, nibbling at someone's ears was the clearest show of affection and warmth, but she understood that it wasn't like that for other people, so she didn't.

Right now, though, she was playing with a pack. Their ears were soft and fluffy, and nibbling on them didn't hurt them. Their tails and ears were fun! They spoke in Stella's language, and they were all in agreement that Mako smelled just right and nice, and that they all loved her, too!

It was fun!

And when Mako hugged her from behind and gently nibbled in her ear, Stella froze for a little bit. It was the same soft, gentle and loving nibble her mom gave her when she was tiny, and it made her sad, and it made her happy, and the others could tell, and they licked at her and made her feel warm, and she let Mako cuddle and hold her.

She fell asleep.

It seems they hadn't yet figured out the taboos of other races and societies, or just didn't care at all. Then again, a succubus is practically defenseless without her pheromone-based skills, so a very compelling case could be made that asking them to cover that region of their bodies was akin to asking a human to walk around with his arms tied behind his back.

And then again maybe they just liked the breeze. Succubus fashion in the southern continent seemed to revolve almost exclusively around open shirts, jackets or robes in varying lenghts, after all.

That sounds hilarious, but I honestly thought of the succubus elder as a very motherly figure, rather than a more sexual one. Of COURSE she would be vastly experienced, considering they hunt through sex, but I imagined she would feel that her tribe's new life is way better, since they don't have to kill & eat their lovers now, which probably led her to change her ideas on sex.

I guess that if we openly said "I am interested in having sex with you" she would be confused about our suicidal tendencies. Remember that for her sex -> kill -> eat

We probably need to actually show her that it cn be just for fun. We probably could explain it very easily as sex -> payment -> buy food, but we may turn their culture/town into a bordello-oriented one if we do that.

It is worth reminding, I think, that I'm using the Disgaea "class tree" for the succubus as evolutions, which means it goes Empusa -> Lilim -> Succubus -> Carmilla (Sykia is a Carmilla) -> Hecate (the elder), yet they are all considered succubus.

So, assume the children are Empusa. Just throwing that in there.

Anyway, I guess we can do something focused on the elder when we are done with some of the things already on our plate, though.
